-=An Angel's Sigh=-
Shall I hold thee in the bitterswept nights of lengthy
solitude, bearing my soul in case you may hear?
Shall I hold thee in the corners of my mind once more
As your heart seeps into my innermost thoughts?
Shall I hold thee until my last day of travel on the bloodspent ground of the latter, who's life spilled eons worthy of a second glance?
Shall I hold thee to the closest of my heart, as it wrenches within it's own torment, whilst you walk within my suffering and silenced mind, spent with the last bit of contempt for the world as it rolls it's deathly pitch?
Shall I hold thee to a summer's dream, and wake to find the winter, bitter and pityless as it reminds me of the harshness of another's wish?
For it is within my suffered soul abides, that i prithee you come to me, in spirit, or in whole as i long for the warmth of your soothing gaze, the rays of the first sun of springs dawning melting the retchid ice from the petal and breathing life within the stem.
But, hath you come to me, with neither love nor will of soul, that i should die apon your heart and betroth myself within the shroud of darkness that surrounds me.
For it is you that bears my only breath, with one gaze, I would feel my lungs be filled, and I could sigh for you once more, my never touched angel...
