Mac Anu is Delta Server's Root Town. It is a large city with numerous canals running throughout, boats and gondolas allow access to all areas of the city. The two key landmarks in the city are the Chaos Gate which is located in a large plaza, and the city's clocktower, where event notices are often posted.

The first player to log into the new World since its beta session closed stepped from the chaos gate, shielding his eyes from the sudden warm sunlight dancing off the waters of the wharf, perpetually locked in twilight. Xakot stretched a bit readjusting to the controls as his mind went to work telling his avatar what to do. In the real world he was simply laying it bed, a helmet over his eyes, drowning his sensing in a far better world. His eyes locked onto his gauntlets, his signature weapon for a grappler class. "I hope i can get Angelus Mortis back together from R2." He wondered allowed, not even aware he was the only person in the game at the moment. He slowly wandered down the main road inspecting the stalls as the NPCs all displayed their wares, mostly starting gear and potions of various sorts.

A second player appeared near to Xakot, He pounded his fist together in triumph "I knew the download wouldn't take THAT long." his face twisted into a smirk as he punched with quick jabs. "the controls feel smoother than before, MUCH better than the patches they had before..." Maverick Let his eyes dart around the city had changed a bit, but he was very familiar with R2. "Looks like I wasn't lucky enough to be the first one this time..."

In almost quick succession to the prior players who had arrived in the world, Lucille's smaller form suddenly materialized. As her body finished getting all its components together, she gave a pleased smile as her slender fingers wrapped around her unique staff and she affirmed that all her motor controls seemed to be in sync with the game's system. Once she was done with her assessment, her piercing yellow eyes darted around the area to take everything in. "Only two others so far? The rest won't be long behind..."

After a bit of a lag due to the other players logging in, a dark dressed figure emerged, almost immediately drawing a weapon upon arrival. Kyler's bow was held loosely in one hand as dark eyes surveyed the area. After a moment, Kyler moved again, heading straight towards the other players who had arrived before, not saying anything at all as stalls were passed without so much as a glance.

A tall, slender figured with pale skin and dark hair slowly materialized and Angel took a step forward. Snapping her fans open, she spun, midnight blue dress flaring out around her. When she came to a stop she wore a small but satisfied smile. There was a little lag, but it liked like it would pass, and the controls were easier to get used to than she thought they'd be. Still waring the faintest hint of a smile, she proceeded through with only occasional glances at the stalls.

A short red headed girl with tan skin ackwardly walked around."Wooo this place is big~....and the art is amazing." Lunar theif mattered as she took in the town around her. I should probably find a good area to train...I dont want to get my character killed right of the bat. she looked around intell she spotted the Chaos gate and headed for it.

With a quick flash of light, Berne appeared at the log in gate. Looking around for a brief moment to take in this new world around him as he strode slowly forward, he stretched his arms lightly and took a curious look at himself, wanting to make sure everything was in place and that it looked right to him.

The influx of players caught Xakot's attention, his gaze running from the stall he was at up the road to the chaos gate. His thumb ran across the tip of his nose as took it all in for a second, a smile breaking his face. "Nice a diversity, now then onto business." He paused to inhaled before puffing his chest out, thumb pointing directly at his chest. "Attention players! I am now accepting applications to the New Angelus Mortis, one of the greatest guilds from R2!" He blurted out without any sign of shame.

Berne looked at the strange man shouting as he headed over to the Chaos Gate, wanting to immediately get himself some levels and a feel for this new world. He looked around for a moment and spotted it, noticing a short red headed girl also heading in that direction. He too began to move that way, looking over a few things in the menu as he went along.

Maverick cracked his knuckles and sighed "already searching for guild members and we've hardly even gotten started." He walked towards the chaos gate, his dull grey hair drifted across his face as a light breeze blew through the city. "its time to grind..."

"What the H*** is a guild? And why is that guy yelling about? ehh his probably just tryin to get attention...man, these online games are crazy..but I have to say. This one has really good controls and my character turned out great." Lunar theif muttered to her self stopping by the choas gate."Where should I go....?" She wander.

Berne looked over at the little red headed girl, as she paid little attention to the recruiting player. "A guild is a group of players who enjoying playing with one another and helping each other out to get stronger, and to achieve a higher goal than just themselves alone. Not everything in this game can be done solo, sometimes you need help, and it is much better to have those there with you that you know you can count on rather than some random people you just met. But that probably does not have a lot of weight to it considering this game just opened." he said softly. "I would assume you are heading out to grind a little so your character does not get overwhelmed in the first few dungeons ?" He asked shortly after.

"It's the best way to get familiar with the changes from R2." Maverick responded very matter-of-factually, as though he was defending his method. "Plus I need to scout out the area words and find the best ones for training."

He chuckled lightly and nodded, "Indeed, that is a good idea. I was simply asking because I would like the chance to train with some other players and work on party combo's." He said softly as he adjusted his hat, looking between the two of the players. Berne shot a quick glance back at the guild recruiter as he checked his equipment.

"I've never played anything like this before..I wouldn't want ta hold any of ya back."Lunar stated looking between the two men.

"It's alright my dear, don't worry about that." He said as he started to fidget with his menu, sending her a party invite. Berne smiled softly as the party invite pinged.

Although no one could see it, Kyler broke into a grin and headed in the direction of the shouting man. Weaving a lithe body in between the players who were now standing around, Kyler was one of the first to approach the guild recruiter, not needing to check equipment like the rest of them did. "Guild recruiting?" a smooth voice asked quietly so only Xakot could really hear.

Looking over at the male who was shouting loudly about a guild, Lucille titled her head in curiosity at the male. She knew she would most likely need to do that sooner or later as it was, she lifted her staff from the ground and made her way over to the few who had approached him. "A guild, huh? I'm up for this." Switching her gaze between the two, she offered them a brief smile.

"You know it!" Xakot beamed proudly that at least someone had responded. "The names Xakot! Former Guild master of the number three ranked guild on R2's Delta server! Adventuring and PKK extraordinaires! Im looking to put down roots and hit the ground running, this time Angelus Mortis is going to be legendary!" His enthusiasm permeating the air as he went on, as if he had rehearsed the speach a million times in his head. His hands went to work flying through the air sending out invites to the two who has seemed interested.

Lunar just exapted the invite when the yelling started up again."That's it...that guys askin for shoe down his throat!..er..umm for desturbing the peace of course hehaha." She looked of at the man as if to say she was going to punish him soon, before giving a nervous chuckle.

Maverick adjusted his gauntlets and tapped his toes against the ground getting a good feel for his equipment "The starting equipment isn't half bad." he glanced out with a cold grey eye towards Xakot who's advertisement seemed to be snatching all of the newbies in. "I wonder if there will be any guild related quests in this version." He seemed almost concerned about the idea.

Fallen Angel turned toward the sound of the raised voice. She wasn't surprised that people were already setting up guilds, but her past experience in other MMOs hadn't been very positive so she'd steer clear for now at least. Shaking her head, she headed toward the Chaos Gate assuming that would be the place to go to test out the gameplay and get a look at the story here.

A small ping could be heard as a notification arrived at each of the players in the immediate area, followed by an exclamation point appearing in every players respect field of view, the dot in the shape of an envelope.

Xakot was already in his menu screen from sending out invites. He hurriedly passed his hand through the small acclimation point in order to open it. "Looks like they made a few interface changes." He noticed out loud as he navigated the floating screens that where only viewable to him. What he read next was.... odd in the least.

W///w/...welcome adventurers. In honer of being the first few to populate the World I///...::;you have been extended and invite for an introduc..uction and special event In your Honor. pLeAse make your way to .Hack//SotT Hidden Forbidden New Truth. You follow in the footstepstepsteps of great legends before you, now you begin your own.

Maverick finished reading the message quietly "would have figured they'd send us to Hulle Granz...I'm not familiar with these area words." He walked up to the Chaos gate "Events like this always feel amazing. I knew it was a good idea to log in asap." With a little bit of slight of hand the area words were input and the tall dark player disappeared within a ring of light.

Lunar read through it before turning to her teammate."Is this a scam? I mean..you'd think if this was from the actual creaters it wouldn't have so many...errors." She was actully rather excited to have gotten the letter despite her skepticism.

Berne looked at the little girl for a moment. "The games just recently opened, so I expect there to be a few bugs." He said softly.

Fallen Angel navigated her menu with a satisfied expression, the controls were very intuitive. She frowned a little as she read the message, wondering if the game creators had even bothered to proof-read the invite. She didn't think so, and she thought it was a very unprofessional start to what was supposed to be the MMO of the decade. None the less, she accepted the invitation and headed for .Hack//SotT Hidden Forbidden New Truth.

When the notification symbol for the new message popped up in her peripheral, Lucille began waving her hand in the air to open it up and looked at the message received in confusion. It was readable, sure, but it was obvious that the system might be having some glitches. Looking back up to the two males she was now connected with she offered them another smile. "See you there." With a wave to the two, she then warped out with a flash of golden rings to .Hack//SotT Hidden Forbidden New Truth.

"You think they could have hired a spell checker or something, i mean its only a multi-billion dollar game." Xakot scratched his head as he mulled the message over. Special events weren't uncommon from CC corp but this seemed a tad rushed. Something here is off. He thought as he made his way to the chaos gate, disappearing into the multi-rings of the chaos gate to .Hack//SotT Hidden Forbidden New Truth.

After Berne replied Lunar felt a rush of excitement."Then what are we waiting for?! there could be richs, monsters, and chests with awsome weapons waitin for us!" She declared stepping into the choas gate and setting in the location .Hack//sotT Hidden Forbidden New Truth.

A lone figure logged in as soon as everyone left, his grey eyes bathing in the beauty of this new world. He hadn't even made it a step before Jaliel received the message. He turned his head in a curious manner before finally accessing the link in the message and disappearing into the blue rings of the chaos gate to .Hack//sotT Hidden Forbidden New Truth

After Akihiro logged in, he couldn't wait to run about in this new world. It seemed the game itself had other motives however, as he was met with a message the second he logged in. It was odd...Reading like someone would sound on a broken record. He shrugged it off, he was new to the game, and guessed it might have been some broken coding. Nonetheless, it gave him a keyphrase, and he knew what that meant. He quickly ran to the chaos gate, and in moments he left to .Hack//sotT Hidden Forbidden New Truth.

Berne chuckled softly and followed his party through the Chaos Gate, taking a quick glance back at the guild recruiter before his character disappeared from the platform.

Kyler let out a small growl as the display was interrupted by the message. It was horrendous, and glitchy. Or purposefully written that way. Following the rest of the crowd, Kyler walked to the rings of the chaos gate and through to .Hack//sotT Hidden Forbidden New Truth, curious as to where that would take them.
