Name: 2D (Real name, Spencer, but shhhh)

Age: 19, been portal-hopping for years so he's actually a bit older, but things get lost in-between worlds. It's complicated.

Appearance: Reddish brown hair wild around his head; 2D has bangs due to the goggles strapped to his head pushing some hair into his hazel eyes.  His hazel eyes flash grey when he gets really really fuckin’ into something. He usually carries an assortment of gadgets (mp3 player/headphones, phone, portable small computer about the size of a wallet, and a kit that has all of his tools… wires, screws and screwdrivers, batteries, metal filings—stuff for him to make things). 2D also carries around his newly invented interdimensional hopper in the form of a thick bracelet that runs up the back of his hand. When taken off he has a circular-ish, intricate burn that sort of looks like a red-inked tattoo on the back of his hand. He has on loose gray pants covering up knee-high boots (he also keeps lockpicks in its heel), a thick belt holding them up on his slim hips, and a white undershirt with a short-cropped jacket over. He wears some jewelry, including a few piercings on his ears and one lip piercing. He is highly protective of a small locket set with a bright red ruby. He has a tattoo of a scan code on the back of his neck. He gets shit for it because obviously it is the least original tattoo ever, but he’d rather not say he’s had it since forever. He's also just a bit heavier than he looks... by about 20 pounds.

Personality: Very animated and passionate. Always willing to learn, but is pretty snarky. An inventor, so always coming up with new ideas. 2D likes to push laws, whether they be physics or more along the lines of 'breaking and entering.'

History: He was raised by his grandfather and was told his parents had died in a car crash, wa wa nobody cares. He spent most of his life having a fun childhood, inventing everything, and told he can never go anywhere near the government lab in the middle of the city. Fine by him. The thing is, his grandfather died and left him this locket that he can't open and a stupid cryptic note to tell him to be careful.

Then, two weeks later, a very angry-looking woman showed up and started trying to kill him and take his locket, which was quite off-putting. She turned out to be a cyborg and was nonplussed with his homemade portal-jumping device, following him around the worlds and leaving a trail similar to the portal-hoppers used by the government. He was able to lose her a couple of times and make some weapons, keep throwing her off his trail, but it's getting quite hard to keep up. He's looking for a way to end this once and for all... or hell, figure out why she wants this so bad.
