An Introduction
To start, I'll relate to you a story. Way back when in a land far, far away.....wait no, sorry, wrong story. Ah, I got it. Four years ago, I was entering my freshman year of high school. I was a high honors student, and rightfully so, I was pretty smart. One of me best experiences was in my high honor Literature class. My teacher was a good one, his name was Mr. Kobasa. As I remember, he looked like a older version of Shakespeare himself, with long hair, a mark twain black tie, a brown vest, and his famous argil socks under berkenstock sandals. His speech was something I shall never forget, and now, as told to me, I will tell you.

"Good morning students, and welcome to Honors Literature. In this class, you will learn the art of the written word in all forms. From poetry to first person narratives, the many forms of the written word are mysteries to your young minds, and in the class, if you let me, I will expand your mind's horizon, and push you to use your imagination in all ways possible. In the next four years, I hope to expand all your minds into the literary universe, and hopefully with alittle bit of work, turn you all into truely gifted inspiring writers.

Books, are something we can all learn from; read as much as you can, it's atually a good thing to do. In these books surrounding us, are hundreds of characters waiting to be explored, and thousands of situations to be exploited. Use them well, and learn all you can."

Those words truely inspired me to write, and while I had only one year in that school, I took in all I could learn, and it gave me the foundation I have since laid my imagination on.
