Year come and years go
For those that grieve to show
It's our fallen loved ones we miss
Even after they've ceased to exsist
She would wait on his grave
Tightly clutching the roase that he gave
A promise was made
A promise he betrayed
She never stopped loving him
Her feelings weren't just a whim
She kept her end of the deal
To her this would always be real
She was sitting alone one day
Abandoning in dismay
Someone came calling at her door
Just as she had lost her own great war
Sadly she raised her eyes to his face
And was startled to see her saving grace
But the war had torn him away!
He was gone, though she had to stay.
"This cannot be true,
Its a dream, a ruse"
She knew she had again gotten carried away
But she decided to follow along that day
She walked into his imbrace to feel
The one she held in her arms was real!
The next thing she knew he spun her around
And just as before, her laughter did sound
He had kept his promise in the end
And now her heart would rapidly mend
A joy that she had earned
Was again, once he returned
Note: Inspired by one of [Lamorien]'s pieces.
Its called "Reunited". *is awed by the brilliance of her work*
