User Reviews (Pros and Cons):
[Hendercrazy]: The Sakura Microns, in my opinion, are some of the best inking pens around.
Pros: Lightweight, very easy to grip, steady flowing ink, and very accurate tips. Great for any inking jobs including high levels of detail. Works best on both smooth bristol and vellum papers. Acid free and archival for those interested in preserving their work.
Cons: If you have a "heavy inking hand"... you must be careful. The smaller tips (005 especially) can get frayed and damaged fairly easy if you put too much pressure on them. Pens will have a tendency to bleed if not used on smooth surface paper.
[deeterhi]: I don't tend to ink a lot with pens (I prefer a brush) but when I do, I like to use these pens. The Sakura Micron pens do come in a brush pen form, which I have also enjoyed using.
Pros: When using watercolors over inked line-art, lines do not bleed due to the the archival and waterproof nature of the pens.
Cons:The 02, 01, 005 can get flattened into the pen if you push down on it too much. The black ink does not match/blend well with other black pens if you run out and use a different brand mid-project.
