Villen blocked all of Shadow Phoenix's attacks and at the last second forced his sword up through his torso to the hilt. "Blind Rage gets you nowhere but dead." He replied coldly.

"I'm not combining with you again..." Omega bellowed glancing to Villen, "but if he and i...we would have so much fun.."

"We need to merge now.." Argolas said to Aedin as they became one again.

"Hey you...you wanna real power boost..."Omega called out to Villen smiling darkly as he flew over, "I will become one with you...you will have all my strength...so long as we have carnage.."

Villen smirked, "My thoughts exactly." He replied simply, "Best hurry before they try and lasso you back into your cage."

Omega smiled as he disappeared within Villen and a dark aura swollowed him revealing a whole ner entity as it cleared.

"Damn it's too late.." Argolas said now that omega had been absorbed, "Shadow Phoenix split back apart we have no chance of winning this fight now.."

Villen pulled his sword from Shadow Phoenix's body and shoved him backwards, "Yes, flee before me!" He laughed, "I'll kill you all soon enough."

Shadow Phoenix fell and coughed up blood. A glow appeared around him and he separated into Lanzer and Idain, both had the same wounds. Blood drenched their shirts and they struggled for breath.

Argolas waved his lance over the two of them as there wounds began to heal and he turned into Aedin once again, "I'm sorry brother...I couldn't protect you...either of you.." he whispered as he picked Lanzer up and vanished.

Adrien sighed as he hoisted Satul onto one shoulder and Idain on the other and teleported away quickly.

Call my name...don't let them escape..show them our true power... Omega's voice rang through Villen's mind.

"Let them go, they are of no concern to us right now." Villen replied, "I'll give you blood later... I need that girl..."

We won't find them as long as Argolas still breathes...or the demensional...Adrien he has probably sent them to another dimension to keep them safe...

"She'll come to me. Remember, I still have control of her brother." Villen turned and made his way back to the base, informing them all that they had gained a new leader in Satul's stead.

"Don't be so hasty Villen....Satul isn't dead...and neither are Lanzer or I..." Adrien said smiling as he walked in soon behind covered in blood.

"No, he isn't dead. But I've taken his spot as the head of this organization." He turned to face Adrien, his hand resting loosely upon his sword, "What are you doing back here?"

"Don't bother...your powers are useless within the base....and I out match you by skill...." Adrien said smiling as he walked past him.

"You're kidding me, right?" Villen snorted, "Or maybe you haven't realized that I am no longer bound by this world's limitations or devices. You should leave, before I decide to take your life. And I'm betting Omega would like a fair sized chunk of you as well."

"If you haven't noticed...I am not exactly bound by the rules anymore either...the new gift I achieved has pushed me beond those limitations...though I still can't beat you alone..you will not stop me from what I am after.." Adrien replied raising his hand and teleporting Villen to the dungeons of the base to give him time to get the supplies he came for.

"I. Think. Not." Villen appeared before Adrien through a flaming portal, his sword drawn, "Don't think that I won't remove your head from your shoulders."

"I highly doubt that..." Adrien said teleporting to his other side and continuing through picking up what he needed and teleporting the rest to him before completely disappearing again with all the supplies.

Villen smirked as he watched Adrien disappear, "Fool, you didn't get anything you came here for." He laughed as he snapped his fingers, igniting the explosives that he had replaced Adrien's things with. "You won't get them either you snide bastard, next time I'll run you through without question.

As Villen snapped his fingers the explosives he placed went off all around him instead of the supplies he braught, Fool...I have been doing this far too long to be caught but such a childish trick...

"Gotcha." Villen hadn't expected the explosives to remain with Adrien, and he quickly caught up to him, pulling him viciously from the teleportation, "You are a traitor, Adrien, and therefor have no right to take any of that with you... or to live for that matter. Don't try and run anymore. Fight, and die."

That is an illusion created by Aedin...the supllies are already with us....but I did leave a little something.. Adrien said through the illusion untracibly as it vanished infront of Villen and a large seal formed on the ground as it cracked under his feet and came flying upcrumbling with Villen in the middle of the colliding boulders.

"You've got a surprise of your own, cocky bastard." Villen vanished in a pillar of flames, reappearing on base, "Strengthen the defenses of this place. We've got a load of traitors on our hands that are not to be allowed within throwing distance of this place. Satul, Lanzer, Adrien, and Aedin. All are to be killed on sight, is that understood?"

"Yessir!" Was the unified response, and Villen made his way to Satul's old office.

Adrien appeared with the others and set the supplied he brought down on the ground, "We are all considered traitors now...Villen has taken over the organization..." He muttered to Satul as he pulled out a bundle of bandages and muttered a quick spell healing his wound partly.

"Traitors?" Satul struggled to sit up, and when he succeeded he was weak and out of breath, "I never took him for wanting to be the leader of anything... He... He was always satisfied with allowing others to lead for him..." He coughed weakly and sank back down, "How is Lanzer?"

"Unconscious...but I have already treated his wounds and Idain's...but if we are to beat him...I have to get to Atsuki...and gather the others that we were hunting.." Adrien said sighing.

"He will be okay then?" Satul questioned, closing his eyes in relief, "I do not know what I would do without my younger brother..."

Lanzer coughed raggedly, "A..A..vella.."He whispered, his eyes still closed.

Idian slowly opened his eyes and groaned. "Damn it...he was to..brash..why didn't he listen to me? Anger...wasn't the way.."He muttered as he slowly sat up and coughed.

"Everyone is fine...I'm bringing them back now..." Adrien said smiling as he waved his hand and Darren, Avella, Kaya, and Moira appeared behind him.

Kaya took up a fighting stance as she saw who the assembled people were, "What did you do to them?!"

"Don't get your panties in a wad...it was Villen...I sent you all away for a while so you would be safe..." Adrien said sighing, "You were in an entire different dimension...and putt under a sleeping spell but I have done nothing else but treat there wounds and defend them..."

"He speaks the truth..." Darren said standing up slowly.

Kaya looked uneasy but sat down.

Idian's dragon moved over to him and touched him with her nose there was a flash of blue light and she vanished. What appeared to be a dragon tattoo appeared on his right arm, he looked a little more healthy.

Aedin ran over to Moira holding her tightly, "Are you ok?" he asked smiling happily to hold her again.

"Everyones wounds have been treated...mine and Aedin's are only minor...but that was only because of crimson's abilities that we are even alive..." Adrien said turning and neiling down beside Satul.

Darren sighed as he walked over to Kaya, "why do you look so uneasy...they are no longer enemies...."

"I'm not so sure about that.." She whispered.

"They are being hunted now like we are....they are considered traitors now.." Darren replied, "they have no reason to fight with us."

"And if they regain their power?" Kaya asked.

"Some how I think it will be different...they will soon know what it is like to be hunted down...and I doubt they would do it anymore.." Darren whispered.

Kaya nodded but still looked a little unconvinced.

Idain slowly sat up and stretched his wounds completely healed. I guess I will have to host you too for awhile huh?

I have an idea on a way to get the upper hand against villen the next time we come across him....you and I should combine.. Argolas said to Idasair unbeknown to Aedin who was still holding to Moira tightly.

Moira only nods but she feels practically useless. "I am fine Aedin." She hugs him back but seems to be a little distant.

We may not be compatible I can merge with Dark Phoenix and Kaya, but not I may not be able to with you Idasair replied.

Moira senses something is about to happen. "Aedin..are you ok?"

Two light entities...you and dark phoenix combined block away much of the potential energy gain by combining with your elements opposite of one another... Argolas muttered.

"I am fine...but are you...you seem more distant than we were before.." Aedin said slightly concerned about her.

"Kaya...it will be alright....I don't think Adrien and Satul are going to make a move..." Darren whispered softly.

Moira lets out a sigh and says, "I got us in a mess."

"What do you mean a mess?" Aedin asked looking at her oddly.

She looks at him and asks, "Don't you remember me teleporting out here earlier?"

Actually I discovered something while merged with him, our elements compliment each other when used in the right order, one element thrives on the other. Idasair replied.

Kaya sat down and watched Avella and Lanzer in worry.

"I can't teleport?" Aedin muttered confusedly, Well...you definately didn't get the combination right that time...you and he were nearly killed... Argolas chimed.

Becouse He lost control,Dark Phoenix's self control needs improvement and discipline. Idiasair replied.

"Well you can just not as far as me you held on to me when I teleported. Are you sure you are ok?"

"I'm fine...I just have a head ache....but I need to talk to you privately..." Aedin whispered in her ear. He's here to gain control...you shouldn't combine with him again...you were actually weaker than you are by yourself...Argolas murmured.

Moira nods and asks, "Where do you want to talk?"

"Just away from everyone else..." Aedin whispered, especially my brothers...I need to know something...

Idiasair refrained from replying. But it is possible to expand, if he worked in harmony with the rest.. He thought as Idian nodded.

Moira nods and finds a place. "How's this?"

"This works..." Aedin whispered looking around, "You know what happened a while ago...with you and I.."

She nodded and asks, "Did something bad happen? If it did I am sorry."

"No no nothing happened...its just...I didn't use a....." Aedin mumbled trailing off afterwards looking away bluching slightly.

She looks at him a little frustrated. "Didn't use what?"

"What do you think...I didn't have any..." Aedin whispered turning to her his face now blood red.

Moira pales slightly and asks, "Protection?"

"Yeah...I mean I'm not sick...I can't even catch a disease from humans...but...I can still have a child..." Aedin said sighing.

Moira is a little shocked but not entirely surprised asks, "..Do you suspect that I am...expecting?"

"...Vampire young grow exponentionally fast...I can already hear a separate heart beat from your own." Aedin replied hesitantly.

Moira pales and sits down. "I...see you know this is going to complicate things with your brothers right? If...you want I can...tell them that it was my fault that I was the one who wanted you to get physical. How far along am I?"

"Its only developing...I would say about the beginning of the second trimester end of the first..." Aedin replied turning as white as a sheet as well, "I will tell my brothers...this is my doing as well..."

Moira smiles but looks at him and asks, "Do you want me to still be with you or...would you rather I...disappeared after you tell your brothers?"

"I'm not sure...though the probably expected it...out of all of us I was the loose cannon and the one most likely to fuck up.." Aedin said laughing.

Moira's smile fades and she says, "Ok then...I will not get you in trouble...I will leave...I don't want you have to change and besides doc doesn't need me none of you do. I may be convinced if you tell me you need me but if you don't then..I will disappear."

"What i meant by that was it is your decision if you want to come or not...they will have no different reaction either way.." Aedin said taking her hand softly.

Moira looks at him and asks, "Do you regret...our..intimate moment in a tree of all places?" She laughs at the added part.

"I don't regret anything...I'm merely suprised and shocked.." Aedin said smiling softly at her.

She smiles again and pinches his ear. "I warned you this would happen and now I am going to be more of a basket case. But I will be fine as long as you never stop loving me. I will come with you when you tell your brothers." She lets go of his ear and kisses him on the lips.

Aedin smiled returning the kiss as he picked her up and vanished with a blur, "You could probably teleport us...but I like to run.."

Satul passed out a few minutes after Aedin had vanished, he was now under the charm of a high fever and his healing wound seemed to stop closing.

Idian walked over to him and quickly set to work on curing him. This isn't good..he can't die now! As he worked he barely contained a gasp as he spotted a distinguishing characteristic of what he had been told would be his brother. So...it is true...he really is my brother..

Satul groaned, his body thrashing slightly before stilling, nothing was working it seemed, and he slipped into a deep, dark memory that he had long ago buried.

Idian cursed as he doubled the efforts. He bent down low so only Sutal could hear, "I need you to wake...I need you to be able to meet me....I am your little brother."

Kaya looked worried by the events, but she stayed near Lanzer.

They were on that cliff as children again... Lanzer and Avella. Satul always followed at a safe distance, he wanted to make sure that they stayed safe. His twin brother always looked so happy with her, and that brought peace to his own heart.

A smile touched to his lips and he sighed softly, crouched behind a large boulder out of sight, "I live for you alone little brother... I will do whatever it takes to make you happy..."

A small, dirty, pale hand touched to his shoulder, "Satul."

He jumped, "V-Villen, what are you doing here?" He questioned.

"Are you actually allowing this?" Villen looked at him with cold, deadened eyes, "Look how weak Lanzer has become with Avella there with him! They need to be separated."

"No..." Satul shook his head, "Let them be... Look how happy Lanzer is with her and... I'm a bit embarrassed to admit, I've become infatuated with her myself..." He blushed, watching as his brother chased after something.

He turned to Villen, only to find him gone, "Villen? Villen, where are you?!" He called, looking around frantically.

He caught sight of him then, as Villen approached Avella. As he leaned down and whispered in her ear. His mouth fell open in horror as Villen then shoved her from the cliff, and her scream resounded in his chest hollowly. It felt as though he were being torn in two- what would he tell his brother?

"Villen!" Satul howled in rage, "What have you done!?"

"She made him weak." Villen turned towards Satul, who froze, "She made him weak, Satul, he is already without powers... Do you want him to die so weak?"

"She made him weak..." Satul mimicked as though hypnotized.

"It was all Lanzer's fault... He ran off, he should have been there... She fell... she died because of him." A ring of red burned in Villen's eyes, an action copied in Satul's before it faded and his features grew grim.

Villen laughed as he sauntered away, and Satul turned to face his brother, his heart deadened, buried deep within his soul.

"Satul...Satul.." Adrien called shaking him slightly trying to wake him as he muttered a quick healing chant only to notice it did nothing for his wounds.

Satul groaned. Suddenly his eyes snapped open and he sat bolt upright, none noticed as his eyes flashed a brilliant orange for a moment before fading into black. Suddenly he grew frantic, "Where... what... w-why!?" He couldn't make sense of anything.

Aedin appeared beside Adrien a few moments later and set Moira down, "When Lanzer is awake..I need to tell you all something.." he whispered nervously.

"What are you rambling about Satul" Adrien asked before turning to Aedin, "This isn't the best time..."

"What's going on?" Satul said, slowly at last.

"We need to wait until Lanzer is awake..." Aedin said nervously, damn...I'm shaking I'm so nervous...

Adrien sighed as he sat down beside Satul, "Aedin....what did you do?"

Avella shifted slightly, her eyes fluttering open.

Moira looks at Adrien and says, "He has done nothing wrong...its just there is another er...well.."

"He is never that nervous unless he has done something.." Adrien grumbled turning to Aedin who was now refusing to look him in the eye.

Moira lets out an agravated sigh. Maybe I should leave that way he doesn't get into trouble.

"NO!" Aedin shouted turning to her quickly, I need you here...and plus your cousin is here as well...damn Mastudo is under Villen's control...i just thought about that...

Moira lets out a sigh. What when did that happen? Don't looks so nervous you want me to tell your brother?

Villen took over and the four of us..Satul, Adrien, Lanzer, and myself have been branded as traitors and are to be killed on sight.. Aedin replied sighing.

Moira pales and knows he will probably kill her too. So it is all come to this huh.

We have to get Mastudo out...and Atuski as well...if he will leave that is.. Aedin replied sighing.

Infiltration of course...Argolas and I will hold Villen off...Adrien will hold Atsuki if need be...and you will get to Mastudo and teleport you both out.. Aedin replied smiling slightly before turning back to Lanzer, "He needs to wake up.."

Moira is worried. I don't know if he would trust me enough.

"We will worry about all that later.." Aedin said outloud without thinking.

"Worry about what?" Adrien questioned looking at the two of them oddly.

Moira answers, "My brothers mental condition."

"Would he be stupid enough to fight against us?" Adrien asked her with a cold expression on his face.

Moira looks at him with injuried eyes. "I doubt he would fight you..but he may...never mind you have nothing to fear Adrien."

"Aedin myself and one more...will go to the base once again...to get Mastudo...and Atsuki if he will join us.." Adrien said coldly as he gazed off in the direction of the base, Villen..I will kill you....

Moira asks, "Should I come?"

"I'm not sure....we need to talk to everyone and decide the party when they awaken..." Adrien said sighing, "we need the strongest right now..that can do this...we cannot afford to have anyone of us die...this is going to be a sergical blow in and out quickly and percisely."

She nods and pouts because Aedin now can hear her thoughts. Well at least he isn't getting crazy about me risking myself.

I just haven't said anything...but don't think I'm not screaming in my mind... Aedin chimed through her head loudly almost deffening and angrily.

Moira grunts softly. AEDIN WHY ARE YOU SO WORRIED! I WON'T PUT MYSELF IN UNNECESSARY harms way....so how does the heart beat sound?

that was....random... Aedin replied blinking with suprise.

"what are you two talking about..." Adrien muttered annoyedly.

Moira lets out a sigh of frustration. "Oh just chatting about things lovers talk about." Well it got you to calm down a little anyway so no worrying.

"Lovers...oh no..AEDIN!!!" Adrien shouted guessing at what he wanted to tell them.

Aedin looked up horrified as he began shaking violently.

Moira places a hand on his shoulder. "Adrien now is not the time to blow up and there is no point in killing Aedin. I consented to it."

"I don't doubt that...he wouldn't do something like that...but how could he be so damned careless...I just had to deal with a child a few hours ago...I don't need to again.." Adrien grumbled as he shook Satul on one side of him and Lanzer on the other trying to wake them.

Moira bristled at Adrien's remark. "ADRIEN WHO SAID YOU NEEDED TO! I am capable of taking the responsibility. I was afraid this would happen and had offered to leave and not let you know about that. However Aedin says he needs me so that is why I am staying."

"It is going to be running around here...everyone here will have some part..." Adrien growled standing up infuriated by her comment.

Moira smiles gently at Adrien. "So you will spare your brother then?"

"You are aggrivating me...and that isn't wise for either of you right now.." Adrien snapped furiously.

Moira throws her hands up in the air and shakes her head. "You are tense and the atmosphere is not great. I don't mean to aggravate but I told you the truth." Moira walks away now beginning to wonder if she has made the right choice.

Aedin appeared infront of Moira sighing, "He is just upset...and stressed about everything...he has to pretty much govern everything until Satul is better..."

Moira sits down on a stump and asks, "So how does the seperate heartbeat sound?"

"It's off from yours by about half a second.." Aedin said smiling.

Moira shakes her head and smiles. "Is that good or bad? I meant does it sound strong or weak?"

"It sounds weak...but it is suppose to be right now..it's barely developing.." Aedin said smiling.

Moira pouts a little at his smile. "Ok but is it normal for the..seperate heart beat to be off from mine about a half a second?"

"Yes it is a separate being...even though it's within you.." Aedin said smiling more as he placed his hand on her stomach softly.

Moira smiles and places her hand on his. She looks up at him with worried eyes. "I'm sorry if I told him too soon."

"Its ok...the only reason I wanted to wait was so I didn't have to tell them separately.." Aedin said sighing.

Moira lowers her gaze and says, "You need rest Aedin."

"I don't have the time to..." Aedin said restin his head against her chest.

Moira places her hands on his back to help him get comfortable. "Yes you do. Just try to relax you have not lost anything."

"I lost my home...our home...even the blanket you gave me..it was in the base..." Aedin whispered sighing heavily.

Moira pulled out something from her pocket. "I have the other piece." She rubs it on his face. "Don't worry Aedin I have faith in you."

Aedin smiled as he slowly began to drift off into a light sleep.

Moira hums and rocks him gently slightly. Rest well my love.

Idain backed away not sure what to say to Sutal. how am I to tell him he is my older brother?

Lanzer slowly opened his eyes and coughed. "A..Avella.......Sutal..?"

Avella sat up, "Lanzer? What... what happened to you?" She moved over to him quickly.

"Little brother..." Satul turned his gaze to the ground/

Aedin's eyes shot open as Lanzer awakened, "He is awake...we should head back.."

Adrien sighed as he looked from Satul to Lanzer and muttered, "Aedin and Moira are expecting..."

Moira lets out a frustrated sigh at Adriens tone like he is looking death in the eye. Really these men I don't get them.

Lanzer slowly sat up and hugged Avella. "I....was foolish and nearly got myself and another killed..." He whispered.

Idain slowly began to leave. I have no way to speak to them..they would be much happier not knowing, I would be another burden to worry about

Kaya hugged Lanzer and than moved back.

Avella allowed herself to relax as she hugged Lanzer back, "What happened?" She murmured, before turning to Idain, "Please do not leave..."

Lanzer shook his head. "Long story...but I found out something about myself.." He whispered.

Idain looked at her a little defeated and sat down away from the rest of them. He finally turned to Sutal and hesitated. "S...Sutal?"

Satul looked over at him slowly, "Yes, what is it?" He questioned.

Idian opened his mouth and than snapped it closed. "N..nothing..sorry for desturbing you.."He muttered turning away. Why can't I say it?! Why can't I tell him I am his little brother?

Satul frowned slightly, "You are not disturbing me..." He responded slowly.

Idian looked down. "Umm....what was your mother's name?" He whispered, barely being able to be heard.

Adrien turned to him starring at him oddly, "That's an odd question to ask under the circumstances..." he whispered turning to Satul then to Idain again still confused.

Idian looked away his hair masking his face. What the hell am I doing?! Obvoisly she didn't want me to know my brothers for some reason..

"My... mother's name?" Satul cocked his head to the side curiously, "It was... Kiadaree."

Idian swallowed hard. this can't be coincidence! "I...see.."

"Can I ask what the interest in my mother's name was?" Satul questioned, perhaps Lanzer and I were right...

Idian's hair hid his face even more as he tunred away. "N..nothing..just curiosity.." He whispered, starting to think of the reasons his mother may have wanted to hide it.

Aedin grumbled incoherently as he walked up, "Stop lying and just tell them..." he muttered annoyedly, you know I can read your mind.....I already know...just say it... he rang timidly.

"Tell them what" Adrein questioned, All I want to know is why he looks like they did when we were kids...

Idian stood up back facing them. Why..why did you read my mind? Maybe you should tell them! Maybe there is a reason I was never told and had to find out later by over hearing a private conversation! He snapped silently as he ran off into the woods.

"Idain!" Avella stood quickly and followed him, "You shouldn't wander by yourself out here... It's dangerous." She said as she caught up.

He looked away shaking. "What is the point? I can't fit in here...I should be back home....helping them fight the war not here thrust into another one!"especially when I don't know if I can trust my own brothers! maybe I was better off not knowing them!

"I'm sorry... Why don't we get you home first then... So that you are safe from what's going on here?" Though the organization is affecting the world... nobody should be forced into something they don't want to be a part of... "And what exactly is wrong?" She put a hand on his shoulder.

"I.....am a big part of what is going on here..I over heard my gaurdian say I was some sort of..of..weapon..he said there were a few and I was one of them..And there is more to it concering Sutal and his brother.. but I rather not say that...not yet.." Idian whispered wondering what Sutal was thinking right now about his quick departure.

"Weapon?" Avella's face grew rather sad and she nodded, "I know the feeling... Listen- I have something I must do, will you... will you perhaps hold the others off for me?" She had a grim but determined air about her.

"What would that be? Wait...you're a weapon too aren't you?" Idian asked as he realized she had the same feel about her as he did.

"Satul...do you think that Atsuki will come with us...or will I have to fight him....Moira and Aedin are planning on going in after Mastudo...and if he decides to try and stop them...they cannot defeat him.." Adrien muttered sighing.

"Why didn't you tell him you were his brother Idain..." Aedin asked walking up behind him.

Idian looked down feeling hollow. "I...why did you have to read my thoughts?!" Idian snapped feeling trapped.

"You're... their brother?" Avella questioned in surprise.

Idian nodded. "So I have been told..."

"Wow..." Avella said, looking him over and realizing that he truly did look like Lanzer and Satul.

Satul shook his head, "I don't know..." His eyes looked haunted, tormented, "Even if he could break the hold of the organization's brainwashing system... he may lose his sanity and attack and kill everyone..."

"Sutal...what do you mean?" Lanzer asked as he looked at his brother in conern, he noticed something was strange about Sutal and his worry grew.

"Atsuki... he was the first we converted, the first we tested on to find a decent method of conversion... He undoubtably has mental scars that we have repressed... He may be trouble when you try to get Moira's brother..." Satul responded softly.

"Sutal...we need to get you better before we attempt anything." Lanzer said.

Idain shook his head. "Maybe..I should tell them...I am involved.." He whispered as he headed back to Sutal and the others.

"I can hold Atsuki back myself...and Argolas and Aedin...they are strong enough to distract Villen...we just need one more that can get to Mastudo without being noticed..." Adrien muttered sighing, "We cannot risk Moira...she isn't in any condition to fight for now..."

"You think...and I read your mind because I wanted to know for sure.." Aedin growled.

"I am... fine." Satul shook his head, "Do not worry about me..."

"Aedin, you should go back with Idain..." Avella said, turning to look at him.

Moira gets up and states. "If you have no choice I will help you in anyway I can."

Idian walked over to Sutal and took a deep breath. "I..have to tell you something..."

"What is it that you wish to say?" Satul questioned, looking up at him.

Idian took a deep breath and looked down uneasily. "I..I..am...your younger brother.." He whispered.

Satul nodded slowly, "I... thought you looked a little too much like us not to be..." He replied, turning his gaze back to the ground.

Idian frowned not sure what to think or do next. Why is he acting like that? Isn't he even remotely interested? Idian walked off away from him once more his mind trying to make sense of the turmoil he now felt. Part of him felt hurt and another angry.

Satul had a sad expression in his eyes, How can he be related to a monster like me?

Lanzer felt in shock and was tempted to run after him, but he glanced at Sutal in concern and walked over to him and sat down."Sutal..what is wrong?..tell the truth." HE whispered looking into his brother's eyes.

Satul shook his head, he tried his best to smile, "I'm fine, what makes you think that something's wrong. Lanzer?"

"Because we have both known you since we were children...now just tell us..." Adrien said sighing.

"Atleast you told him..." Aedin said walking out infront of Idain.

Lanzer nodded in concern. "You look...haunted too."

Idain pushed him out of the way and kept walking, not saying a word. Is this what they were protecting me from? Brother's that don't even care about my existance?

"I've done so many horrible things in my life... Lanzer- how can you stand to even be in my presence anymore?"

Lanzer hugged Suatl. "No...you are my brother, even if you did horrible things...you are still becoming a better person, to even think about your actions, shows that you are becoming a better person...we both have donw horrible things...now we have a chance to fix it."

Satul shook his head, "You would not have done wrong had it not been for me..."

"Sutal...please do not blaim yourself..please.."Lanzer begged.

"It was I who convinced you that Avella's 'death' was your fault..." Satul said softly, "I convinced you to join that foul organization with me... It is truly my fault, all that has occurred..." Satul murmured.

"Satul...we all have done things in out past that we aren't proud of...me probably more than you...but that is just it...the past...don't dwell on your mistakes just try not to make them again..." Adrien said smiling.

"They do care....there is just something more important going on...don't be so ignorant to there feelings..." Aedin snapped furiously.

Idian turned and glared at him. "You have no idea what I have gone through to even reach here....and they showed nothing! Even if there is something else going on...they should have shown at least a small shred of interest!"

Satul sighed, "That's just it... all that has happened... I allowed myself to be placed under mind control..." He gripped his hands tightly in his lap.

"Satul...you were all under his spell in some form or another...only Aedin was untouched...and that was because his ability..." Adrien said sighing.

If...If you were under mind control...than it wasn't your fault at all Sutal! You couldn't fight it.." Lanzer protested.

"Everything that has happened is my fault..." Satul murmured, "From that time on the cliffs until now..."

Lanzer frowned and slapped Sutal across the face, for the first time he took the role of the older twin. "SNAP THE HELL OUT OF IT! IT WAS NOT YOUR FAULT AND IF YOU FEEL SORRY FOR YOURSELF YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO CORRECT THE DAMAGE SO STOP FEELING SORRY FOR YOURSELF AND GET OFF YOUR ASS AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!"

Adrien threw Lanzer away from Satul, "Enough...this isn't the time to act like that...he has to realize this for himself...let him wallow in self pity...we cannot do anything until he realizes it wasn't his fault...haven't you noticed the girl is gone...Avella...do you know where she would have gone.."

Satul looked up, "This is not self pity... This is... redemption."

Lanzer cursed. "AVELLA?!" He quickly rushed off to find her.

Adrien appeared infront of him sighing, "You can't go alone..you wouldn't stand a chance against Villen...she has a better chance than you do..."

"Damn you don't try to stop me! I love her she needs me!" Lanzer snapped as he pushed him away.

"You will only get her killed!" Adrien snapped snatching him back and throwing him to the ground, "Lanzer...you will only get in her way...I will find her..." he said softly teleporting away.

Lanzer cursed and went to find her.

Idian wandered around the woods feeling empty and lost. He wasn't sure what to do anymore.

Avella vanished in a swirl of shadows once Aedin had left, when she reappeared she was at the base of the same tree that she had met Lanzer... It was also, ironically enough, the same tree beneath which Atsuki had pledged to protect her forever. She place her palm upon the trunk of the tree, a sad expression in her eyes as she turned her gaze to the base, "Atsuki... it is my turn to save you..." She murmured, beginning to walk towards it. (nobody knows that she's gone!)

She slipped into the building without much opposition and made her way to the stairs, she needed to find Atsuki quickly, but couldn't risk getting caught.

She could feel him, he was only a few floors above, now her only worry was getting to him without being seen.

"It's about time, I was beginning to worry that you wouldn't come." Villen was there to meet her when she rounded to climb another flight of stairs and Avella froze.

Adrien appeared in the main hallway in the base, "Now where would she go.." he muttered to himself walking down the hallway casually.

Adrien sighed as he teleported to Atsuki's quarters, "Atsuki...are you here?" he called looking around still on his guard.

Lanzer rushed in cautiously as he followed Avella's trace.

Atsuki stumbled from the back room of his quarters, looking rather ill and somewhat weak, though he shoved the feeling away as he caught sight of Adrien, "What are you doing here, traitor?"

Adrien sighed as he heard his words, "So you have just labeled me off as a traitor as well...so I am guessing this means there is no avoiding a fight..." he muttered saddened by what was to come.

"Not if you stay here." Atsuki responded, "You are to be killed on sight... And as much as I hate to, you will die by my hands unless you leave."

"Atsuki...you are in no condition to take me on and you know it...you will die tonight if you fight me..." Adrien whispered looking away, "I have gotten tremendously stronger since the last time you have seen me fight.."

"Have you grown stronger? Then perhaps you will be up to par with me at last, Adrien." Atsuki said simply, "If you will not leave I have no choice..."

Adrien sighed as he raised his hand with his palm open reaching out directly beside him as a small portal opened and he reached in and hundreds of portals opened all around and his hand appeared within each of them, "Atsuki...please I'm not leaving...but I do not wish to kill you..."

"It is not my life that will be lost if you stay here." Atsuki responded, "I have given my warning, Adrien, I cannot delay much longer for you."

Moira feels so out of place. Man I feel even more lost then before.

Her gaze hardened, "Out of my way." She said firmly, taking up a fighting stance.

"I'm not going anywhere." Villen replied, a smirk touching to his lips, "And neither are you."

"Oh yes I am!" She growled vehemently, rushing at him with her sword drawn.

He blocked her attack, though just barely, "Damn you girl..." He growled, "But I see... why you were prophesized to be the one to aid me in ruling the world... There are one or two others like you... whose powers are so vast that none can hope to win against them in a fair fight..."

Lanzer appeared behind him and attacked. "Leave her alone!"

"L-Lanzer?" Avella murmured in surprise.

Villen, seeing his opening, thrust out his arms, and a pillar of flames shot at Avella, knocking her off balance as she attempted to block. Her sword was flung away from her and she pivoted backwards into the empty air above the stairs.

Lanzer cursed and flew over and caught her, He quickly retrieved her sword and faced Villen. He shoved Avella behind him.

"What are you doing here Lanzer? I didn't want to bring anybody else into this..." Avella murmured.

Villen laughed darkly, "Come to die, or to serve me, Lanzer?"

"Neither I came to help the woman I love." Lanzer growled.

Villen laughed, "You will not rescue her. She is a weapon, needed in this war. She and those like her will be mine."

"No they will not!" Lanzer snapped. Avella..go find your brother, I will destract him for as long as I can...I love you.

I'm not leaving you here to fight this monster alone, Lanzer. Avella said firmly, her fingers touching to his arm.

What about your brother? Lanzer asked as he allowed The dark Phoenix to take over, but this time they worked together in harmony.

I cannot abandon you... I would never forgive myself should something happen. Avella responded.

Lanzer nodded feeling a little worried about Avella.

Villen dashed towards them with a bone sword raised to slice Lanzer in half.

Lanzer blocked and attacked with a flury of complex moves evn more difficult than before.

Villen laughed again, "What hope could you have, fighting me without your other half... without being combined?"

"I have my other half!" Lanzer replied. "I also found out what I was ment to do, as long as Avella needs protecting I will act as a guard!"

Villen shook his head and attacked Lanzer roughly, "Love is foolish." He spat.

Lanzer blocked the attack and he appeared to be stronger than before. "Hatred is pointless, love is not."

Villen growled in anger, striking faster and harder.

Lanzer fell into a rythem as he blacked the moves and attacked with his own. "How does it feel when you can't hit your target?"

"You've become annoying, Lanzer." Villen replied, "I won't allow you victory."

Lanzer shook his head as he continued to attack and black.

This is dull... but perhaps if I wear him down enough I will be able to delve into his mind... Villen thought to himself, a smirk forming on his lips.

Lanzer suddenly attacked with a burst of speed, agility, and cunning.

He doesn't give up... Villen scowled and picked up his own speed and power.

Lanzer continued to atack and block He wondered vagualy why Avella wasn't doing anything.

Avella rose from the shadows behind Villen after assuring herself that she would not end up injuring Lanzer in the process and tackled him, forcing him to fall down the stairs with her holding him down. As they reached the landing she used their momentum to spring backwards onto the stairs again and watching in satisfaction as Villen continued to fall. She shook her head to rid herself of the dizziness of her fall.

Lanzer steaded her and smiled but then frowned. "Something...is wrong.."

"What could it be?" Avella questioned in worry.

"Idian!" He whispered.

"Go to him then, quickly if he needs aid!" Avella said, "And I will continue on to search for my brother..."

"Be careful..." Lanzer said kissing her quickly and than going to find his younger brother.

"You too!" Avella called after him before continuing up the stairs.

Idian sat down at the base of a tree wondering why his family abandoned him.....why his mother never saw him.

"Freeze!" The voice of a young boy no older than 9 rang through the air and he stood before Idain, his hands planted firmly on his hips.

Idian frowned and looked at him carefully. "I am in no mood kid."

"I'm here to apprehend you." The boy said, "You'd best come quietly, or else..."

"You have got to be kidding me. You're just a kid." Idian said as he stood up still remaining on guard in case of a trick.

"So what if I'm a kid?" His body crackled with electrical energy, "That doesn't mean that I am not qualified to do this job."

"It means you are innocent and you have a chance for a better life." He replied still on guard as he erected a shield just in case.

Risa hid behind a tree and murmured to the earth. Suddenly a couple of hands burst from the earth and wrapped themselves around Idain's ankles and triped him. He sliced at them in horror as he attempted to keep up his guard.

The boy laughed and sent bolts of lightning at Idain, "I serve Master Villen, and always will."

Idian blocked the attack and finally got free. He rushed over to the boy and used his hilt to attempt to knock him out.

The boy ducked and grabbed Idain's arm, sending electrical currents throughout his body, he laughed, "I just scrambled your nervous system... Meaning that most likely if you try and move one body part you'll end up moving another." He giggled.

Idian gasped in pain as he summuned Kia. Kia growled as she burst forth and knocked the boy against a tree. She than turned on Risa and attacked.

The boy stood, stumbling dizzily for a moment before shaking the feeling off, "You'll pay for that!" He brought his hands together, and the electrical energy circulated over his fingers.

Idian's energy flared desipating the boys magic for several minutes. Idian muttered something under his breath and the boy began to fall asleep.

Risa fell back away from the dragon in horror I thought they were extinct?!

The boy swayed on his feet, and as his eyes drifted closed he stumbled towards Idain, intent on taking him down, though he collapsed before he reached him.

Idian barrowed energy from his dragon companion and beganto attack Risa who summuned more undead to attack. She muttered a quick incantation under her breath to wake the kid up,who was now positioned behind Idian.

The boy opened his eyes slowly and stood, his footsteps silent as he came up behind Idain, gathering energy in his hands. He quickly leapt up and wrapped his arms and legs around Idain, sending powerful electrical currents through his body, trying to knock him out.

Idian screamed in pain as he tried to resist. Risa took the opportunity and resealed the dragon in him and helped knock him out. Idian tried to resist but soon slipped into darkness. "Lord Villen will be pleased. Let's get him back."

The boy nodded his agreement and grabbed Idain's arms, beginning to drag him back to the base, "He will be pleased with us indeed my lady." He murmured.

Risa smiled and touched them both teleporting them to the organization.

"I will inform Master Villen of this boy's capture." The boy murmured, walking away from Risa.

Risa nodded as she secured Idian in a cell.

Satul felt a twang as though something was wrong, but he knew it wasn't with Lanzer. "It must be Idain..." He murmured, and teleported himself to the boy's location.

He stood now outside of a cell, and peered in before breaking the door. Satul lifted Idain over his shoulder and turned to leave.

Risa stepped from the shadows into his path. "You will go no further, put the weapon down."

"Risa... he has taken control of your mind, hasn't he?" Satul said sadly, looking at the girl, "I cannot leave him here..."

"You have no choice. If you try to leave I will be forced to kill you." Tears glistened in her eyes as she attempted to fight for control.

"Risa, do not allow him to keep his hold on your mind..." Satul pleaded.

Risa wavered for a moment before her face took on a cold demeaner. "Release him now Or I will be forced to kill you. You have a chance to serve Lord Villen Sutal, but if you refuse I am afraid I will be forced to kill you."

"I am afraid that I cannot concede to your wishes, Risa..." Satul said sadly.

"Than I am afriad I must kill you." She said coldly as she rushed foreword to attack.

Satul settled himself to dodging her attacks, not wanting to hurt her.

She stumbled and burst out crying. "S..Sutal...help me..."She begged tears rolling down her cheeks.

"You must fight him Risa!" Satul said.

Lanzer hurried in and looked at them in shock. "Sutal.."

Risa trembled. "H..help me.."

"Lanzer, take Idain, get him somewhere safe." Satul said, turning to his brother and tossing the younger man to him, using his shadows to guide him.

"Be careful!" Lanzer warned as he hurried away with Idian trully worried about his brother.

Risa trembled even more her hair covering her face. "S..Sutal..."

"I'll save you from his hold, Risa." Satul turned back towards her and walked slowly forward.

At the last minute she lept up with a knife and aimed it at his chest. She tried to resist but Villen's control was to strng. True tears of anguish rolled down her cheeks.

Satul held out his arms, wincing as the blade tore through his ribs and into his chest. He wrapped his ars about her, a soft look in his eyes, and leaned down. "Don't cry..." He whispered in her ear before gently pressing his lips to hers.

She dropped the knife to the floor with a clatter, tears sprang to her eyes as she gained controlonce more. She sank to the floor with him her arms wrapped around her as she kissed him back. "Sutal....please no..don't die!"

"I didn't... I didn't want you to suffer..." Satul murmured softly, "I'm so glad that you managed to... break free." It was hard for him to breathe, and he figured that perhaps she had managed to puncture one of his lungs with the knife.

Tears sprang to her eyes. "Sutal...please..don'tleave me..I love...damnb it I have always loved you!" She cried as she kissed him again.

"I... have always loved you too... Risa." Satul gave a watery smile, "I didn't want to see you under that bastard's control..." He was growing weak, but he reached up and wiped the tears from her eyes, "Don't cry for me, Risa."

"Sutal...please don't..don't die...I need you!" She cried feeling helpless.

"My body has been dying for a long time before you stabbed me, Risa..." Satul said sadly. (where's Lanzer, not gonna interupt the moment?)

Sutal...please..I need you.." Risa begged tears continuing down her face.

Lanzer finished taking Idian back to the others and he hurried back feeling something was wrong. When he entered he nearly cried out. "S..Sutal...."

"Lanzer... brother..." Satul strained to look over at him.

Lanzer rushed to his side trying not to cry. He pressed his hands to the wound in an attempt to stim the blood flow. Avella...Sutalk Is Dying please hurry! We are in the dungeons...

Lanzer cursed as he tried to do all he could for his brother.

Risa looked pale at the blood. I..I..did this to the man I love..

"I'm just glad that... I was able to save you Risa... and that I was also able to free Idain before he was put under the same spell... Take care of him... Lanzer, teach him... he's strong but still needs to be shown things... Tell him I'm sorry that we hadn't been able to... grow up together."

"Sutal...don'tgive up!" Lanzer snaped tears stinging his eyes.

Risa cried feeling guilty.

Suddenly a bright light appeared and Idasair appeared. He walked over to Sutal and began to heal him.

Satul closed his eyes, he was growing tired, though breathing was growing less and less difficult as he felt his wounds closing.

Idasair finished. "He will live now." He said in exhastion as he vansished back to Idian.

Risa hugged Sutal and watched him in concern.

Lanzer hurried to help Avella after he was certain Risa and Sutal were safe.

Satul's eyes flickered back open slowly and he brought a hand to where the wound in his chest had been in amazement.

Risa raised her head from his chest looking releaved. "Sutal...I thought...I thought...I was going to lose you.."

"I was willing to die... if it meant rescuing you, Risa..." Satul murmured.

Risa threw her arms around him and buried her face in his chest. "I didn't want to lose you...I couldn't bear the thought..especially if it were at my hands.." She whispered.

Satul pulled himself into a sitting position, wrapping his arms around her gently.

"H...how do you feel?" Risa asked gently.

"Better... just tired..." Satul murmured.

Risa kissed him on the cheek and hugged him. "I...guess it took a near death experiance for us to finally admit to our feelings." She said tryin to joke a little. She still felt shoken up by the past events.

"I'm just glad that you were not injured." Satul replied
gladly.

"I...I am so sorry I hurt you.."Risa whispered tears in her eyes again.

"Don't cry... Risa." Satul said, "I didn't care that you had injured me..."

"But...I injured you...the man I love..I nearly killed you!" She cried.

"And I would have gladly died for you..." Satul pulled her to him, "Please don't cry..."

Risa snuggled closeer to him. "I love you with all my heart."

"As I love you..." Satul replied softly.

Risa sighed as she relaxed a little. "Are you ready to move? If some of Villen's men come.."

"Yes, let's get moving... Idain, are you ready to get moving too?"

Idian nodded. And stood. He wasn't exactly sure how they got here or what happened but he was glad to be able to leave.

Satul stood and helped Risa to her feet as well, "It shouldn't be too difficult to get out of here..."

"I hope not.." Risa whispered.

"All I need to do is teleport us." Satul said, "It'll be the last of my energy though." He moved them over to where Idain stood and grasped at his sleeve, his other arm still around Risa, and he took them away from the base and back to the others.

After Avella recieved Lanzer's message she rushed towards the dungeons, "Where do you think that you're going?" Villen's voice sounded from behind her and she shivered in loathing as she turned- to be met with a pillar of flames that flung her in to the far wall.

Lanzer... I'm not going to be able to make it... sorry... She murmured, struggling to her feet and swiping at the flames that had sprung up on her clothes and brushing a line of blood from her forehead. "Get out of my way, Villen... You shouldn't be interfering right now!"

Lanzer appeared behind Villen and began to attack in a vicious series of attacks.

"You again, Lanzer?" Villen shook his head in disgust.

"Yes me again. I told you as long as Avella is alive I won't be far from her side." Sutal is all right Avella. Idasair healed him, Risa is with him now Lanzer replied.

I'm glad... Avella responded, I was worried...

So was I He replied as he redead himself.

Villen attacked Lanzer with two bone swords this time relentlessly.

Lanzer grunted as one grazed his side. He quickly doubled his defense and returned his own attacks.

Avella attacked Villen as well, frustrated that he had managed to graze Lanzer's side.

Villen took their attacks in stride, a smirk on his face.

Lanzer attacked working in harmony to Avella's movements.

Villen frowned at the harmony of their movements and attacked faster, harder.

Lanzer continued to work in harmony with Avella and Dark Phoenix as he took on the appearance of Dark Phoenix.

Villen cursed inwardly, Damn this is annoying... I just want the girl! He thought to himself in anger.

Avella..he looks frustrated we may use that yo our advantage.

Maybe... Avella said in reply, But don't get overconfident, there's something strange about him...

I know, I am not going to get overly confident...it seems to easy he is planning something Lanzer replied remaining defensive but at the same time wotking in harmony.

Villen set his swords ablaze, and each swing seemed to produce more and more heat.

Lanzer continued to attack but remained weary, he wasn't sure if this flame was one that would effect him or not.

Avella was beginning to slow slightly, and sweat beaded on her forehead, Lanzer... it's getting hard to breathe- I think he's heating up the air particles that we breathe in...

Lanzer flew over to her and surounded her with his wings as he teleported them away.

Lanzer appeared with Avella and slowly removed the wings from around her with a gentle smile. "Can you breath now?" He asked as he resumed his human form.

Risa looked relaeved as Sutal, Idain and her apeared. Idian sat down still feeling confused.

"Yeah, thanks..." Avella said with a sigh of relief.

Lanzer held her close looking releaved. "I am glad..sorry I forgot that heat doesn't suit you as it does me." He murmured in embarrasment.

Risa sat down next to Sutal with a sigh and leaned against him feeling relaeved that they had escaped.

"It's fine," Avella said, "I'm just upset that we couldn't defeat him today..."

Risa looked up to Sutal. "How are you feeling?" She asked in concern.

Idain leaned against a tree and began to stretch the pain in his muscles out.

"I am fine now..." Satul replied, "What about you, Idain?"

Idian jumped a little at his concern. "Umm..just sore..I really am your brother.."

"Why, may I ask, did you seek Lanzer and I out?" Satul asked him, "Surely mother had her reasons for hiding you away... Perhaps she didn't want you introduced to all of this..."

Idian leaned back and closed his eyes. "I..wanted to know who my family was..I was raised for thirteen years not knowing that my guardian wasn't my father...I knew nothing of my origens and I trained hard with the highes masters on the island...One day war came..my guardian sent me away trying to keep me safe....and that night I over heard him speak of my real parents and my...brothers. At the time I was angry...angry that I never knew.....I always knew I was an outsider on the island I got along better with the audults than I did with the other children. When he sent me away he gave me this..." He held up a dagger with intricate carvings that Sutal recognizes as a weapon his father had used. "And he told me...he told me it was my father's but he would say no more, he wouldn't even tell me where I was from saying it was best not to know..." It took me a year to finally get some clues that I was from here and it took allot of persuasion to finally get your name..." Idian said looking at the carved blade.

Satul nodded slowly, "I see..." He said, "I am sorry to dissappoint you with who and what we are..." He sighed, "You should go back to your home where this isn't your problem... I do not want you involved or injured..."

"It's to late I am already involved...in my travels I found out I am...some sort of weapon as well as Avella...If I left your chances of stoping him would become slimmer." Idian replied calmly.

Lanzer looked at him and Avella. "Maybe it's possible you and Avella could train together to raise your power."

"Train? I wouldn't mind... lately all my practice has come in the form of real battles..." Avella murmured.

Idain nodded. "It sounds good to me too. Maybe this way I can work the kinks out of my muscles from that electric boys attacks." He said with a smile.

Lanzer smiled and nodded as he sat back.

Kaya curled up and watched everyone her eyes were primarily focused on Risa. Doesn't she recognize me?

Avella nodded, "Best thing to do for your body I think." She said agreeably.

Idian got up and stretched and lead her to a clearing for them to train."Ready when you are." He said getting his guard up.

Kaya continued to watch Risa and no one noticed Lanzer leave.

Avella stretched and nodded, "You want to attack first?"

"Maybe." Idian replied and suddenly he attacked with a flurry of speed and agility. "That is one of the lessons I was taught, never let your oponant know what you are up to." He said with a smile.

Avella couldn't help but smile as well as she settled herself to simply blocking his attacks, waiting for a good opportunity to turn the tables.

Idian called out verious tips as he attacked, tips that he had been trained by the elders on.

"I am not the only one meant to learn from this!" Avella laughed, "You tend to favor your right side, so double your defense on the left."

"I suppose you are right. I suffered an injury there when I was younger." Idian replied as he followed her lead and called out another hint. "You are leaving your back exposed."

Avella nodded, "Watch your feet." She commented as she swung her leg beneath his feet, knocking him over.

He used the momentum to roll in and around her. He tapped her on the back with his sword. "Watch your back."

Avella grinned as her form seemed to melt, "You too." She murmured from over his shoulder with a small chuckle.

He whirled around bringing both blades up to block and shove her back a grin spreading on his face. "I haven't had this much fun in nearly a year."

"It has been a while for me too." Avella turned her stumble into a swift backflip and finally drew her sword.

Idain smiled and began a quick charge, faint than left charge combination.

"They fight each other like thay are dancing..." Risa murmured leaning against Sutal.

"They are very talented fighters." Satul agreed, "Both powerful... able to read each other's moves so very well..."

Avella mimicked his moves, blocking, attacking when he left himself open, a grin still visible on her lips.

He blocked and attacked in a double dragon slash style only residents of the island knew. He flipped back and frowned lowering his swords and looking around. "W...where is Lanzer?" He asked his frown growing as he didn't see any sign of him.

Avella stopped and looked around, "Wasn't he here?" She grew worried.

Idian shook his head and turned to Sutal. "Did you see where he went?"

"I didn't even see him leave...." Satul shook his head, worried for his brother.

"We have to find him!" Avella said, sheathing her sword.

Idian sheathed his weapons and nodded grimly. Suddenly he clutched his chest and fell to his knees. "No..why?!" He muttered as he steaded himself. "Idiasiar..says he joined Villen..."

"No, why would he do that!?" Avella shook her head in disbelief and took off running, intent upon finding him.

Idian grabbed her and held her firmly. "Don't! You could get yourself killed, besides they want you to fall into their hands. I think it is Dark Phoenix that has control...he has sealed Lanzer's self control. To make matters worse he will be harder to reach as he is now Villen's partner, he isn't one of the small cronies that will be easy to access." Idian said with a sigh.

Risa looked pale as did Kaya at these words.

"I have to save him then... I don't want to lose somebody else that I love!" Avella said, her voice breaking.

Idian looked down feeling helpless. "Dark Phoenix wants to lure you and I in.....he knows we want to save Lanzer and he knows we are weapons..we must plan. If we rush in we have no chance of success." He turned to Sutal with sad eyes. "Sutal..tell her."

"Don't be stupid... Villen will stop at nothing now to get either one of you." Satul said slowly.

"I don't care..." Avella said, struggling out of Idain's hold.

Idian grabbed her again and held her tight. "You think I don't want to go and rescue the idoit?! You are being foolish we need to plan if we want to save him!"

Risa stood and walked over to Avella, she laid a gentle hand on her shoulder. "I know what it feels like..but Sutal is right we must wait and have pataints if we even hope to save him..."

Avella shook her head, "I'm sorry, I can't take losing him." She murmured, and a brilliant light interlaced with shadows burst forth from her body.

Idian stumbled back in surprise. "Avella...please! Don't do it alone!"

Risa stumbled back in surprise tears running down her cheeks.

"Lanzer needs me... Atsuki needs me... I cannot leave them alone any longer..." The light was gone and she was running again.

"Risa, are you okay?" Satul wrapped an arm around her shoulders in worry.

Risa burried her face in Sutal's chest and nodded. "I would have done the same for you..."She whispered.

Idian cursed. "What are we going to do...let her go?"

"It isn't wise to let her go." Satul shook his head, "If Villen gets his hands on her... It'll be game over."

Idian cursed and chased after Avella He jumped on her bringing her to the ground. "I am sorry." He said as he brought the hit of his dagger down in an attempt to knock her out.

"Lan...zer..." Avella murmured as her head fell and she slipped into darkness.

Idian carried her back to the others, and laid her down gently. "What are we going to do?" Idian asked as he rolled his trench coat up and placed it under Avella's head like a pillow.

"I don't know..." Satul shook his head, "I honestly... don't know."

Risa looked at him in worry. "We can't let them just have him can we...."

"No... we must get him back as soon as we can." Satul replied.

"How..what is the plan...you said yourself they will want Avella and I to play into their hands, and Idasair knows that as well." Idian said in frustration.

"I will go." Satul said, "I will go and yourself and Avella must remain hidden."

"Sutal...what if you...get killed?" Idian whispered in worry. "If you go than so do I.."Risa whispered.

"If I die, it is for the right reason." Satul replied, "Risa... I wish you would stay here... out of harm's way..."

Risa hugged him tightly. "I don't want to lose you...like I nearly did already..."She whispered.
Idain looked at them in worry. "Sutal...take father's dagger...it has prtective magic and strengthening spells." Idain said as he offered the dagger.

Satul took the daggar, wrapping his other hand around Risa's waist, "I'll return to you, I promise." He said.

Risa kissed him on the mouth and mustered her strength with a shaky breath. "You had better...or I will be pissed."

Idian nodded grimly. "Be careful Sutal."

"I'll be as careful as I can." Satul replied with a nod, vanishing.

"Then prepare yourself...I am sorry...but I cannot afford to hold back with you this time.." Adrien whispered pulling his hand from the portal gripping a long slender blade with a type of black metal swirling within it and an ancient symbol ingraved within the hilt.

Atsuki pulled his sword away from the wall and lifted it easily despite it's size, "Come at me then, Adrien." Atsuki replied, his voice cold and emotionless once more.

"Not here...I will not be interrupted..." Adrien said waving his hand and teleporting them both deep within the forest with no one around, "This is much better" he whispered raising his long blade as energy pulsated through the dark emblems.

Atsuki frowned but nodded, "Yes, I would prefer there being no interuptions." He said simply.

"Defend yourself...friend.." Adrien muttered disappearing briefly and reappearing infront of him bringing the sword down swiftly.

Atsuki brought his own blade up to block Adrien's swiftly before shoving him backwards, "You worry about yourself, do not waiver in your attack."

Adrien brought his blade down as he was shoved backwards towards Atsuki's shoulder while opening a portal driving his hand into and out grabbing his hand with the blade in it.

Atsuki held out his other hand and a vortex of shadows absorbed Adrien's sword and hand into its murky depths and aimed a kick at his torso.

Adrien looked away as his blade absorbed his shadows ahd cut deeply into his hand and arm, "I'm sorry....I can't take any chances...I won't let anything happen to Satul...or Lanzer...even if you must die!" he shoutedafter Atsuki's kick landed and knocked him backwards dragging his blade through his flesh cutting deeper into it.

Atsuki knocked the blade away and the wounds closed quickly. "I gave you the opportunity to leave, Adrien. You've lost that chance, and if any dies, it will be you."

"If you want any chance to defeat me...release your seal...your contition is worsening as we fight....that is the only way for you to beat me and you know it..." Adrien whispered staring at the ground and lowering his blade inhaling deeply, "Destructive spell....." he started looking up to Atsuki gazing into his eyes and raising his blade.

"I don't need to release my seal right now." Atsuki replied, "My condition is fine, you have no idea what it is that you are talking about." He brought his sword defensively before him.

Adrien sighed as he tilted his blade into the moonlight, "Light of damnation..." he muttered as five portals opened around Atsuki revealing a diamond like stone floating from them, "Last chance Atsuki...don't make me do this..."

"Do not fret for my safety... These will do nothing to harm me." Atsuki said, his shadows writhing beneath him.

Adrien frowned upon his words, "You have seen this spell...and it's true potential you know it isn't the stones.." he muttered as they tilted reflecting the moon's light into powerful beams bouncing from one another back onto the crystals and magnifying the light further as it continued bouncing around irradicating any shadows within the circle and preventing them from being created, "I can still stop this if you will leave Villen's control and help us..."

"You should remember that I don't just rely on my shadow abilities." Atsuki replied, "I will not betray my loyalties as you have..."

"My only loyalties were to you and my brothers...I haven't betrayed anyone...you Lanzer and Satul were my first friends...and my closest...you all are the only reason I joined this organization instead of staying in the millitary...I killed my own love to keep you three protected..." Adrien shouted looking up at a large tree behind Atsuki, "This is where we would play everyday and where you would meet your little sister when I went home with Satul and Lanzer..."

"I don't have a sister." Atsuki said, "That girl got you all brainwashed like she did with Lanzer..." He shook his head in disgust.

"You blubbering idiot...you don't remember anything from when Satul brainwashed you....I wasn't here then and I could have and nearly killed him for it...but what I can do now is give you your memory back if you want..." Adrien shouted waving his blade stopping the spell, "I can't kill you...I was just trying to bluff you into leaving...."

"I won't have you playing with my mind," Atsuki said firmly, "Now leave, Adrien. This is my last warning to you."

"You have nothing to gain from fighting me...and you couldn't beat me even if you tried...don't think I haven't noticed you holding back...but I will not yeild you will have to cut me down for me to give up on you..." Adrien replied harshly, "and you don't have it in you...."

"Do you really think so?" Atsuki pointed his sword at Adrien, his emotions vanishing and he settled into the demeanor that he had held for the past few years, "You have made your last mistake, Adrien."

Adrien glanced at Atsuki's blade as it was surrounded by shadows and shattered to dust, "I don't make mistakes...everything I do is planned....the only reason I even came here was to talk to you..." he said coldly, "You don't even remember our friendship...there is no reason for me to hold back then...nor for you to..."

"Then stop holding back." Atsuki's blade was reformed quickly, "I tire of you trying to talk rather than fight." And he attacked Adrien.

Adrien dodged his attacks easily, "You are pulling your blows...your moves are jagged and your response is delayed, that is a sign that you are holding back..."

"I am waiting for you to make your move. Come now, don't bore me, Adrien." Atsuki replied.

"I already have if you were good enough to notice..." Adrien whispered starring into Atsuki's eyes with his cold gaze.

"What? You can't possibly mean those stones or cutting my arm now, can you?" Atsuki quirked an eyebrow, "Tsk, tsk..."

Dark Phoenix appeared behind Adrien and slammed him into the wall. "Autsuki you should be resting."

"What are you doing here?" Atsuki lowered his sword slightly.

Dark Phoenix smiled. "I am now Villen's partner, don't let your guard down just yet Atsuki we need to take care of the menace and than you need to rest."

"I see..." Atsuki said simply, "Fine."

"Or do you want to do it on your own?" Dark Phoenix asked with a smirk.

"Do what you want." Atsuki said, "Adrien is not the one that I wish to fight as it is."

Dark Phoenix nodded. "So I understand. If he values his life he would leave." He replied turning the last bit more at Adrien than at Atsuki.

Dark Phoenix smirked at something. Good my plan is working nicely

"Tsk tsk tsk...what have you gone and done now Lanzer....or should I say dark PHoenix...I know you can be killed without the death of your host now..." Adrien said smiling as he stood back up and brushed the dirt away without even a graze on him, "I have no problems killing you....or Lanzer anymore for that matter, if he was dumb enough to allow a weakling like you to overpower him...then he is no brother to me..."

Dark Phoenix smirked. "Call me what you will. But the fool had little choice in the matter, I wasn't the only one who sealed him. And if you trully think you can kill me without killing him than I dare you to try." He said as he crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the wall with a casual demeanor about him, something about him seemed off and he appeared to be stronger as well.

Lanzer appeared near the base and walked in going to where Villen was.

"My, my, what a surprise." Villen commented as he caught sight of Lanzer.

Lanzer smiled. "I want to join. To long was I Sutal's lackey, to long was my gift kept hidden. I want power now and I know you are the means to get it."

Villen allowed his lips to curl back into a smirk, "Very well then, I will allow you to join me."

"What should I do first? Oh and I warn you my employment will be on my terms if I don't want to do something I won't." Lanzer said with a grin. This is my body Dark Phoenix! Give me back control! Lanzer protested as he faught for control. and why would I do that Lanzer? I am giving you an oppurtunity for power. I am finally free of my bounds and I will kill Idasair and his host. Dark Phoenix replied with a smirk.

"And what, pray tell, are your terms?" Villen quirked an eyebrow.

"I desire a high rank, I will do the jobs I desire none others, I desire respect, and I desire my employment to be that of a partnership not of me being an underling. In return the assignments I agree to, I will use the best of my abilities to see it done." Dark Phoenix replied as he removed Lanzer's control once more.

"That's fine." Villen replied, "I was looking for someone strong enough that I could consider as at least an equal." He shrugged, "It's done then."

Dark Phoenix smiled and nodded. "Hmm you know that Ausuke is fighting a visitor right now right?"

"I know." Villen frowned, "He's not too intent on fighting him though... Doesn't give a damn about Adrien."

"Shall we let them at each other than or should we help resolve it?" Dark Phoenix asked as he leaned againt the wall, arms crossed over his chest as though bored.

"Atsuki isn't well." Villen said, "He should still be in bed resting, but Adrien forced him into a fight. Interfere if you wish."

"I shall, it might be fun." Dark Phoenix said as he vanished.

"Atleast Atsuki would have been worth me realeasing my seal once more...you are nothing but trash begging for scraps as they go....and you diserve nothing but a quick death..." Adrien glowered as he rose his new blade and the black swirls within the metal began to glow brightly, "And I can atleast do that much....if only for my brother.."

Dark Phoenix laughed and looked bored. "Your insults are amusing. What makes you think I am a weakling that will die quickly? I am far stronger than you think I am. As for Atsuki, he doesn't want to bother with you, you are beneath he and I."

"I hate to tell you this...but I was never weak....i just couldn't unleash my full potential with Omega within me...I am actually stronger than he or you could ever realize...If I wanted to I could open a portal within you and let it devour your innards without breaking a sweat...you have no idea the devastation my gift can bring...I can engulf the entire planet if i wished..." Adrien replied smiling.

Dark Phoenix smirked looking unimpressed. "My aren't we the boastful cocky one? And what makes you think I am so weak? My potential is greater than you know as well. I have bid my time for the right opportunity. You and Sutal held my foolish host back, he should be thanking me for this gift, not resisting. Honestly he is like a nagging fly just out of reach." He shook his head as he examined his fingertips. "I advise you to leave while you still can. In fact I advise you to inform Sutal he Will be killed if he persists with trying to come here. He no longer holds any power here. He is an empty shell a shadow of his former self...a broken puppet."

"There is no reason for me to relay anything from you...because I will kill you here and now..." Adrien muttered reaching out into nothingness and pulling another blade that was enlayed in silver and golden swirls, "a blade of darkness and that of light...truely beautiful together...and suprisingly distructive..." he muttered holding them close together as a bright light formed between the two, " merge...Exodus..and Anima..."

"Ah so we get to fight now hmm?" Dark Phoenix said as he drew his own weapons darkness and evil seemed to seep from them and something more sinister surrounded Dark Phoenix. A dark flash appeared and Dark Phoenix took on his true appearance. This time black armor that molded perfectly to his skin with silver symbols and glyphs covered his body. And he appeared changed in some ways.

As the light died down that ingulfed Adrien from his blades, he reappeared with a silver armlet clasped to his shoulder with light weight magicall gauntlets wrapped around his wrists and forearms, "Yes we do..." he muttered raising the single sword now merged that was inlaid with a black silver and gold metal inswirling around eachother all through the blade, "defend yourself..." he whispered ashe swong the blade and the ground shattered under the immense energy it gave off.

"Tsk tsk, such violence." Dark Phoenix said as he brought up his defense with a smile.
Lanzer struggled to gain control but all three of his controllers kept him sealed. This fool doesn't get it. There are three living in this body aside from the host. Don't worry Lanzer, if the fool manges to even hurt us you will be the one feeling the pain. Maybe this lesson will teach you a little about giving in to angerDark Phoenix said so only Lanzer could hear.Lanzer screamed in protest as he tried harder to free himself from Dark Phoenix and the demons.

"You let your guard down..." Adrien muttered from directly infront of his as he thrust his blade over Dark Phoenix's and into his shoulder.

"No I did not." Dark Phoenix said from behind him as he struck Adrien with one of his swords, which let off a blast of evil energy. The illusion vanished.

Adrien smiled as Dark Phoenix's blow passed strait through him and reappeard behind him where his own blade peirced his shoulder, "you didn't really think I fell for that did you..."

"And you think I would?" Dark Phoenix asked from several feet away the other illusion desipating. "Honestly I am not a fool." Dark Phoenix said as he looked at Adrien boredly.

"If you are so bored...do something besides play...I am in no mood to disipline children....you are as boring as Atsuki....atleast he actually had the gall to fight himself instead of sending in meaningless illusions to do his dirty work...." Adrien replied tauntingly as he sheathed his blade, "come...I won't even use my blade to beat you down...Desructive art...distorting light..." he muttered as thw world around them both began to fade in and out and become blurry and eventually they were surrounded by nothingness and Dark Phoenix could no longer even see Adrien, "This is a spell I learned in the millitary...I had always wanted to try it out on the battle feild...but after I learned it I was promoted and no longer went into the feild.."

"Lovely." Dark Phoenix muttered as he broke through the spell and stood before Adrien. He punched him in the face with his fist and jumped back with a smile. "Sorry if my lack of interest bothers you. I am afraid my mind is on more important matters, such as Sutal is heading this way to die, a pity his talents have to go to a waste."

"It really is a pity..for you that is..." Adrien's voice rang from elsewhere as the one he hit rippled slightly at the blow point fefore reforming smiling, "You really think you can dispell this that easily...tis a shame..." he muttered as Dark Phoenix felt a sharp blow to his torso just below his ribs.

Dark Phoenix tsked as his illusion took the blow. "You know, now look who is playing the games." He said as he completely broke through the spell.

"YOu don't get it do you....this spell cannot be broken until either you or I die...that is how it was created and that is how it works...its a perfect illusion for the caster and pretty much a death sentence for the one trapped within..." Adrien echoed from all around Dark Phoenix.

"Then it is a pity, that you have to die, is it not, Adrien?" Atsuki's voice was a soft whisper that sent chills up his spine. He was different now, stronger, deadlier, and worse- he was finally rid of those pesky emotions that had been slowing him down since his confrontation with Avella.

"Join as well...though if you enter this area you will be bound by this spell as well...you are nolonger a friend to me...and are nothing but trash blowing through my path..." Adrien muttered pulling his sword, "though both of you might atleast be able to make me break a sweat...."

"You are to cocky for your own good." Dark Phoenix said as he attacked in a flurry of movement zooming in on the real Adrien and his location. His movements were faster and he seemed stronger almost as though he was no longer just Dark Phoenix in Lanzer's body. "Let's have some fun Atsuki."

"You can not trap me in your little spells." Atsuki laughed darkly, an ominous sound coming from his cold, unreadable features, "You are in my way Adrien, and those who interfere with my goals are doomed to death." And he quickly attacked, his large sword moving surprisingly fast in his grasp.

"Tis a shame you both must die now..." Adrien muttered looking down as he appeared back to back with Dark Phoenix driving his blade through his torso as the spell vanished revealing a tear falling from Adrien's cheek, "This fight is over....I didn't intend on killing either from the start this is only a dihabilitating wound....but the next time we meet...we shall be enemies brothers.." he said pulling his blade from Lanzer slathered in blood as he vanished not leaving a single trace.

"What a fool. He didn't even notice that was a copy." Dark Phoenix muttered as he dissipated the illusion. He glanced over at Atsuki. "Hmm you look stronger." He muttered as he sat down with a sigh. "Stupid of him, he seems really cocky the young fool."

"He is a fool... and a coward to be running as he is." Atsuki said evenly, sliding his sword into the sheath across his back, "He is frightened to face the two of us... who played such a crucial role in his youth."

Dark Phoenix smiled as he sheathed his own blades. "Yes. And here I thought he would be fun oh well, maybe Sutal will be more entertaining, he is heading here, thinks he is going to save my host and you." He said as he settled comfortably. "Oh and he didn't even have the decency to clean up the mess he made." He muttered looking around the forest.

"You shouldn't underestimate Adrien like that..." Aedin said smiling leaning up against the doorway, "He was never scared of you...only of hurting you...he still hasn't done anything that couldn't be quickly healed....he still thinks of you both as his baby brothers and this is tearing him apart..."

Dark Phoenix smiled examining his fingernails. "Aww my heart is breaking for him..if I had one." He said with a laugh. "Atsuki isn't that just terrible? We are hurting poor Adrien." He said as he looked to Atsuki. Dark Phoenix you will pay for all that you have done!Lanzer snapped so only Dark Phoenix could hear. Dark Phoenix smiled and replied back unable to be heard as well. You should be thanking me dear Lanzer, I am making you stronger, giving you a chance at power. Besides, who pray tell will make me pay? You? You can't even break the seal.

"I am suprised....the man that raised you both when your parents died...that you could treat him like this...." Aedin said sighing as he walked into the door.

"Raised me? He did nothing of the sort." Atsuki replied darkly, standing upright, "Why are you even here? You have betrayed the organization, you have no home here any longer." He narrowed his eyes.

Dark Phoenix laughed. "more like held us back." He added as he stood.

"Atsuki you are right he was nothing but a dear friend to you...but he did what he had to to take care of Satul and Lanzer when they were children after there parents died" Aedin said, "and he didn't hold you back....Satul did Adrien pleaded with him to show you your gift and how to use it because he knew they couldn't be there to protect you all the time..." he muttered slipping on a pair of gloves with the fingers cut from them.

"Leave, Aedin. Go to your precious brother and leave us in peace." Atsuki said, his fingers snaking around the hilt of his sword defensively in case Aedin tried anything.

Dark Phoenix smiled. "That will make Sutal's death all the more pleasurable if he comes. Heed our warning and leave while we still offer the chance." He said as he laid his hands on the hilts of his blades in a relaxed manar, just in case.

"I came for a few personal Items that are important to me...I never came for a fight...but i will not let anything happen...I can't afford to...I am about to have a child to look after....but....I can't let that monster continue to torment my brother..." Aedin snapped pulling his wires that had laid themselves across the room when he put his gloves on tightly preventing them from drawing there swords, "I still have no intentions of fighting you....but i certainly won't allow you to stab me in the back like the cowards you are.."

"Cowards? Who ran away from the organization?" Atsuki said simply, with a flickering motion from his hands the wires snapped back over to Aedin, "Get your things and leave. You bore me with the same old tricks..."

Dark Phoenix yawned as though bored. "Cowards? Hmm what a word that is, and it seems to be thrown about allot lately." He leaned back and put his hands behind his neck in a relaxed manor. "Get your junk and get out, you have ten minutes."

Aedin snapped up fast hurt badly by Atsuki's words, he had always admired and looked up to him more than anyother he knew, "I only fucking left because of Lanzer...I couldn't just leave him alone as sick as he was....but I will not allow you to treat me this way..." he shouted lashing his wires out untangling them and threw them out strait like long thin needles at Atsuki.

"What about your little spill about a babe on the way?" Dark Phoenix asked in amusement as he watched.

"Treat you what way? Eight minutes by the way." Atsuki unsheathed his sword and set it firmly in the path of the wires, blocking them.

Aedin wiggled his fingers slightly moving his wires on either side of Atsuki's blade aiming his wires for both shoulders, "I don't care how much time I have...and I do have a child on the way...." he said softly looking away so he didn't show them his eyes that were tearing up.

"You'd best be going, Aedin. I smell the spilt blood of a woman." Atsuki said slowly, just barely sidestepping the wires.

Dark Phoenix smiled. "A pregnant one." He added.

Aedin's eyes widened as he quickly pulled back his wires, as they lashed outwards from the yank they licked at both Atsuki's and Lanzer's faces leaving slight cuts on there faces as he vanished.

Dark Phoenix rubbed his thumb along the cut and brought it to his lips. "Tasty." How does the wound feel Lanzer? Maybe I should allow them to hurt me a little, may help to put you in your place.

Atsuki didn't even bother to touch the small wound on his face as he sat down, "What now- shall we wait for Satul or go directly to him?"

"I've got a better idea." Villen was at the door, leaning against the frame.

Dark Phoenix smiled as he looked at him. "And that is?"

"I would like for you both to take some of the lower class soldiers and bring Avella and Idain to me." Villen said, "While their group is as broken and weak as it is..."

Dark Phoenix grinned. "Finally something interesting..can I kill Idain or do you need him alive?" HE asked his eyes glinting with glee.

"So long as he is brought to me alive, you can do as you like with him." Villen replied.

"Alive but barely?" He asked eagerness in his voice. His shadows rippled about him as though alive.

"Yes, if that is what you wish." Villen responded.

Dark Phoenix nodded. "Very well, coming Atsuki?"

"Of course I'm coming." Atsuki said simply.

Dark Phoenix eagerly began to prepare. "By the way Villen, Sutal is on his way." He said as he vanished.

Moira eyes gets teary but then she feels her brothers blade go through her shoulder.

His eyes are wild. "Miss me sister?"

Moira pulls it out and manages to tie up her brother. "LISTEN PLEASE I KNOW YOU HAVE A HATRED FOR ME BUT ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO BE A PUPPET!"

Mastudo laughs coldly. "At least finally I will be recongized and I will kill your offspring too."

Moira yells "MASTUDO! WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO GAIN!"

"He will gain nothing....he just wants to be the strongest...and he cannot accept he isn't..." Aedin growled appearing in the room with them.

Mastudo again laughs. "So you came to my weak little sisters rescue huh?"

"Who said you could talk..." Aedin asked annoyedly as he lashed out a single wire cutting deeply into Mastudo's face, "and if she is so weak....how did she restrain you so easily..."

He just looks at Aedin cold and uses Moira's restrains against her squeazing it with her gasping for air. "I am not the same clueless boy anymore."

Aedin slashed through Moira's restraits wrapping Mastudo in his wires instead pulling against them tightly cutting into his flesh, "I still haven't given you permission to talk..."

Mastudo just handles the wires not without lossing blood and pushes them back enough for him to escape. "You are not in control of me." He grabs Moira and dangles her. "Why is she so important because she bares your child?"

By the time Mastudo got to Moira, Aedin had already wrapped his wiresaround his throat yanking him back swiftly cutting deeply as well, "You will not antagonize me..."

Idian and Risa settled to wait as they watched over the others, particularly Avella.

Darren yawned loudly as he stood, "Where has everyone gone?" he asked looking around only seeing the four of them.

Idian sighed. "Long story but we have to stay here for a little while..we may have to leave. Sutal went to take care of business and everyone else ran off somewhere.." He said not wanting to talk about Lanzer's betrayal. He looked down at Avella hoping she would remain asleep for a long while yet.

Risa looked at her hands, clasped in her lap in worry. I should be with Sutal..I wonder if he is all right..

Kaya had fallen asleep near Avella.

"I'm going to find Lanzer..." Darren muttered batting his icy wings sending a cold breeze past the others as he took flight, "If he comes back...tell him to find me..."

"DARREN! Wait..I have to tell you something...before you do something stupid.. Lanzer..won't be coming back." Idain whispered the last part.

"What...why?" Darren asked landing beside him.

Adrien appeared back within there midst with slight cuts on his arms, "he is our enemy now...and if he comes back....he is to be killed on sight...as well as Atsuki...." he muttered under his breath closing his eyes collapsing to the ground in a daze of emotion, why did this have to happen...Lanzer...Atsuki...I can't kill them...no matter what they have done....but I can't just let them roam free under Villen either...

"But it isn't Lanzer..Lanzer is being held by demons and Dark Phoenix took over his body..any wounds Dark Phoenix receives Lanzer is the one who suffers from it he is fighting to gain control but he is weakened they draw on his life force..I don't know how long he will have at this rate." Idian said looking sad.

"I know...but still...he cannot be allowed to reign free...Aedin won't be able to force him down so easily again...not with those demons within him as well..." Adrien replied solomnly.

"But we can't kill him!" Darren shouted, "he is still our friend...it isn't his fault!"

He is my brother! If there is a chance..even if it is slim...we must try to save him! I will not kill him!" Idian protested.

"He is just your brother by blood! I was there since he was two fucking years old!" Adrien shouted furiously at his comment, "I grew up with him...I treated him when he was hurt, I helped him when Satul couldn't...I did everything for them...They are the only family I have!"

Idian paled and stood up. "I am sorry..forgive me if I never got the chance to know my brother....forgive me for desiring that knowledge! FORGIVE ME IF YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN CARE ABOUT HIM!" Idian screamed in anger. "And forgive me for wanting to save him!" He said glaring at him in anger and hurt.

"My damn point is he is my brother too...we cannot let our feelings cloud our judgement...he is a threat to all of us...even our other brother....and Aedin...I cannot put my feelings for him ahead of everyone else that I care about..." Adrien said calmly standing over Idian, "You are still young and nieve...you wouldn't understand what I am talking about.." he muttered sighing as he began walking off into the darkness.

"Brother...he tried to kill him...just a few days ago..." Darren said confusedly.

"Damn it! Get back here!" Idian snapped in anger. He sighed looking at Darren. "I told you...it was a long story.." He said shaking his head in frustration.

Dark Phoenix appeared a distance away and cloaked himself in shadows as he observed them, waiting for Atsuki and the men to get into position.

"What the hell do you want...I told you everything...it is final...if you see him he is to be killed...immediately before anyone has the chance to do anything..." Adrien snapped walking back to the group as his sword began to glow in its sheath unnoticably.

"I was talking about Adrien..." Darren replied sighing.

Idian hit Adrien across the face. "And I already told you I am not going to kill him! He has no control right now! He isn't pure evil!"

Dark Phoenix watched in amusement and sent a silent unnoticeable message to Atsuki. Are you and the others in position?

Adrien caught Idian's hand and squeezed it tightly, "I am not going to allow your emotions to get everyone killed...my word is final..leave if you want but it will not change anything..."

"Go to HELL! I will not allow you to kill him! What if there is a chance to save him, would you throw it away asshole?! Idian yelled as he grimaced in pain.

"We don't have a choice...unless he takes control before I see him again...I will have no choice but to kill him think about your other brother in his condition he wouldn't stand a chance in a fight with him don't be so blind" Adrien said calmly as he let Idian's hand free, "Emotion is not for the battle field...it will only tear you apart..." he added turning around so Idain couldln't see the tears forming in his eyes.

"And being a cold hearted bastard gets everyone to hate you!" Idian snapped as he stomped away from Adrien and threw himself down next to Avella. "I won't let either of them die..In have searched this long for my family..they are the only family I have. Yes...you were right maybe I have no right to call them my brothers...but I want to earn that right..."

"So do what you can to save the people you can...Lanzer is a lost cause for now...if he attacks...I will kill him...and that is all I have to say...." Adrien said softly turning to Idain his eyes welling up with tears, "you think I am just fine about this...he is my damn brother too but I cannot allow him to slaughter the rest of my family..."

Idian glared at him. "If you love him so much you would not say he is a lost case!" He snapped.

Kaya sat up and watched them in worry. "Why are you fighting?"

Dark Phoenix continued to watch in amusement as he cast his energy to see were where men were positioned. Atsuki will catch up, move nowHe sent silently.

Several of the men slowly and silently edged foreword boxing Adrien, Idian and the others in.

"Idain...enough..we have visitors..." Adrien whispered pulling his blade out slowly and looking around as he took on a defensive stance.

"If you both would have stopped bickering long enough for me to say something...I would have told you..." Darren muttered with hsi wings spread out and a elegantly carved Ice spear in his hand.

Dark Phoenix muttered something quietly under his breath and the area surrounding the companions burst into flames at the same point several arrows and spells flew at them from all sides.

The men rushed foreword and began to attack, there was a small army of them and some had a decent amount of the gift.

Idain began to draw his sword before he was slammed into a tree.

Idian gasped and struggled to his feet he was separated from the others,in a dark area and facing Dark Phoenix in his true form. "Why don't you let Idasiar out little brat? Do you like this? I decided to take the idea from Adrien, of course I modified this to our needs. I will let you live if only just." He said as he attacked in a furious flurry of movement.

Idian drew his swords and began to defend himself.

2007-11-13 [Ravendust]: pause

2007-11-13 [Ravendust]: Just a note to my fellow RPers- I've seen in a few RPs how some members become incredibly powerful and are suddenly unbeatable that the RP tends to fall apart, and I don't want that happening here so:

Each member more or less gets what one would call a 'freebie' shot, meaning that in battle, you can't dodge everything and kill everything so easily. Take turns recieving blows and no instant healing, it's really got to matter...

If this is confusing, just let me know, but I don't want my RPs to die!

2007-11-13 [Ravendust]: unpause

2007-11-13 [Dezmond]: ok how come i always seem to be the weakest i am getting so far behind i can't do a damn thing and it's drivin me nuts
