He was angry to say the least. His scientists were terribly worthless sometimes and he wondered what made them think he didn't have funding for certain equipment when he did. Or that's what he'd thought until he looked into his account status. Most of his funds had been mysteriously leaked over to an account often associated with Umbrella, a corporation similar to his own but no where near as efficient in his eyes. He slammed his fist on the desk and dialed the number over, waiting for the leader of Umbrella, Albert Wesker to answer, ready to shout at him for hacking into his system.

The phone on his desk rang, and he regarded it with exasperation. Albert could see very clearly who was calling him, and he sighed just before picking up the receiver. "Is there something I can do for you...?" He tried to keep his voice impassive, trying not to provoke more shouting. It happened so often, and it was so annoying. It really served no purpose other than riling up his Tri-Cell counterpart and making him red in the face. He was sure he knew exactly what this phone call was about, in any case.

"Yes there's something you can do for me, you sunglasses wearing bastard. Explain to me WHY my accounts are showing negative for twenty thousand dollars when yesterday night they were ninety thousand plus on the positive and explain why it is that that missing money is in YOUR ACCOUNTS!?" To say Viktor was getting his point across may or may not have been a true statement.

On the other side of the phone, Albert smirked even as he held the receiver away from his ear. Didn't Viktor ever realize that yelling did nothing but waste his own energy? "I can see why you might be confused, Viktor, but let me explain. It is not my fault that your security is lax on all fronts, account systems included. Perhaps instead you could tell me how I was supposed to resist the temptation to take money that was being offered so readily?" He held the receiver away from his ear again, bracing himself for the inevitable shouting and swearing that would follow his taunting.

"Oh that's right, I forgot you have no fucking morals." Viktor spat, rolling his eyes even though the other couldn't see it. "That's all right though, you know why? I'm going to come over into your facility and use your equipment since YOU stole MY money to buy the necessary items I need to conduct experiments. And you're going to invite me with a polite welcome or I will unleash a nasty little monster all in your facility. Do we have a deal?" Viktor tapped his fingers on his desk while he waited the other's response, ignoring that Albert's cool, calm collected voice made him clear headed enough to think of such a come back for stealing their money.

"Don't roll your eyes at me, Viktor, it's childish." Albert knew him well enough to anticipate that gesture, even though he couldn't see it. "I suppose we have a deal, but only if I supervise. I can't very well have you sabotaging our equipment in revenge, can I?" He probably enjoyed antagonizing Viktor a little too much, but he was so quick to anger that it was amusing. He wasn't very threatening, either, so it made it hard not to start things with him. "When will you be arriving?"

"What do you have that I would sabotage anyhow? With your half rate scientists! Ha! I'll be there in twenty minutes. So, be ready for me." He hung up the phone and only then did he realize how that statement could have sounded. He turned red and shouted a few obscenities before going to his car to have it readied. "I have a cooler logo, a cooler company and a much better group of scientists.. I think I have the better life." He said stubbornly nose in the air as he began his journey to Umbrella's facility.

Albert said nothing in return, only hung up the phone and sighed. What a difficult person, even though he was fun to torment. He made a couple of quick phone calls, then left his office swiftly, heading for the ground floor so that he could welcome Viktor upon his arrival.

Viktor arrived and was happy to not have guns pointed at him this time, that's what happened last arrival. He saw Albert up ahead and pursed his lips. "Oh, how sweet of you, you came out to greet me yourself, maybe you do have a conscience after all." He said, walking up to the other. "Now, here re the papers on what I'm going to be doing to your machines, well what I'll be using them for."

"Oh, I don't know about having a conscience, Viktor. It would be a hinderance as head of Umbrella. But do come inside. I don't care what you've got on paper about using my machines. I'll be supervising the whole time, anyway." Albert took the papers nonetheless, but simply folded them in half and slid them into an inside pocket of his coat. He smirked, watching Viktor from behind his sunglasses, knowing that it drove him crazy that he couldn't see his eyes.

Viktor mocked Albert in a rather childish manner, making a face behind his back as he walked quickly to keep up stride with him and walk by his side to be seen as equal and not as his follower. "Oh that's right, you want to supervise so your precious equipment, that you paid for with MY money, doesn't get destroyed, honestly, why would I ruin something that's mine as much as yours?" He asked, hoping to make the other uncomfortable by walking extra close to him.

Albert could see clearly what Viktor was trying to do, and he thought it might only fluster him further if he walked closer to him as well. "I believe it's my money now, Viktor. You should feel lucky I'm being so generous as to let you use my machines." He placed a hand on the other man's shoulder while they walked.

Viktor wasn't one to back down from a challenge and he smirked as he placed a hand under Albert's coat and firmly attached it to his behind. "You mean our machines." He stated, not backing down even though he was quickly losing his ability to be mischievous.. the buttocks he gripped felt nice in his hand after all. Why were they enemies again?

Had he been anyone else, Albert might have lost his composure. Instead, he turned abruptly and shoved Viktor against the nearest wall. "They would be our machines, if you worked for me, Viktor. But since they're in my facility, I think that makes them mine." There was no way for the other man to escape, really. He had him pinned bodily.

Viktor couldn't stop the color rushing to his cheeks though he tried to keep composed, he almost made a nose of approval at their position before he regained himself, his hands wrapping along Albert's upper arms. "Albert, have you been working out?" He asked, changing the subject completely with a devious smile before he quickly switched their positions, pushing hard to shove Albert into the nearest wall instead. "I believe actually, since you've openly admitted to stealing my money that they're mine." He changed the subject back and grinned. "I win."

With hardly a gesture, Albert removed Viktor from his person. "What reason would I have to work out?" He brushed off the lapels of his coat and adjusted his sunglasses. "And how do you win? I only admitted to accepting money that may as well have been handed to me. How is that stealing?" He continued to walk down the hallway as if nothing awkward had transpired at all.

"To impress me and your morals are all kinds of deranged." Viktor said with a roll of his eyes. "Are we there yet? I'm very eager to get this tested!" He exclaimed, thinking Umbrella's corridors were ridiculously long. "No, with stupid hallways like this I suppose you wouldn't have to work out, all you have to do is walk from one place to another."

"You're so impatient Viktor, are you always like this?" Albert taunted, a small, knowing smirk on his face. "Yes, we are nearly there, since you're so eager." At the end of the hall, they entered an elevator, and he pushed the button for the sixth floor. He nonchalantly adjusted his sunglasses once more.

"I am, but at least I'm one way, you're so many different things it's hard to get a grip on you." Viktor retorted while they stood in the elevator, just he and Albert. In an elevator. Alone. How far would they go up or down? If it was anything like Umbrella's hallways it would be a bit of a ride, one that would eventually make Viktor blush readily.

Albert stood silently for a few moments, his hands clasped in front of him. "You seem tense, Viktor. Is something on your mind?" From the corner of his eye, he could see a slight pinkish color standing out on the scientist's cheeks. It was amusing how little composure he seemed to have.

"You misread me." Viktor stated factly, even though Albert was more than right. He was tense. Something about being in the elevator with the older, more powerful, and yet his somehow equal companion turned him to jello in a sense. "I'm just as composed and calm as you are." He lied further, mocking Albert's stance.

Albert raised a manicured eyebrow just over the top of his sunglasses, and gave Viktor a pointed look, which he was hardly able to see clearly due to the glasses obscuring his eyes. "If you say so." The elevator stopped moments later, and opened to another hallway, nearly identical to the one they had left five floors below. "Follow me, please." He opened a door only a few yards away from the elevator, one which had a secured access panel on the outside. As the door unlocked, Albert gestured for Viktor to enter.

Viktor entered and waited for further instruction, wondering if there would be a way to take his money back out of the other's account. He doubted it. While he had Albert beat on many things, Albert had him beat on technological advances, and getting his money back would take a great mind...but oh well, maybe he could somehow convince the other to pay him back.

Once again, Albert raised an eyebrow as he looked at Viktor. Why was he just standing there? He cleared his throat theatrically. "Well, here is the equipment. Do with it what you will, but remember that I will be here, watching." He leaned against a far wall, and gestured for Viktor to proceed, then crossed his arms over his chest and became enigmatic behind his sunglasses once more.

Viktor went to the nearest machine he needed and began typing in codes and such. "I am surprised the codes for experiment orders are the same for our compounds." He said softly, bending over with a smirk, doing so to tease the other as though to say 'ha,look what you can't have'. He began his tests little by little and wondered how he would hide it if he had a great breakthrough with a viral strain.

Albert had the decided advantage of wearing sunglasses. His expressions were constantly veiled. And even if he decided to look at what he supposedly couldn't have, Viktor wouldn't be able to tell. He simply stood by the wall, waiting to see if Viktor would make some big scientific breakthrough. He didn't think that likely, but thought he might as well make it as difficult as possible for him to reach that breakthrough. Very quietly, he approached Viktor's back, bent over him, and whispered in his ear, "How is everything coming...?"

Viktor jumped having not realized his counterpart was behind him. He made a small gasp and sighed irritably. "It was great until you frightened me." He said, holding in his hand a small vial that needed to be put in the machine to mix it properly. "I'm combining these two strains here and then we're going to test it on some random animate object and see if it lives.." He moved closer to his companion to see if he could make him squirm a little, revenge for scaring him.

"And I suppose you think I'm going to provide an animate subject for you to infect?" Albert was not intimidated by Viktor's closeness, and didn't budge, which he thought might succeed in making Viktor squirm instead. To increase possible discomfort, he leaned just a bit closer, and let his sunglasses slide down his nose. He thought the other man was probably aware of his infected state, and didn't mind using it to his advantage.

Viktor hadn't been looking up at Albert until his question was asked and he finally managed to risk a glance and ended up doing a double take and blushed at the red eyes he was met with. He liked them. A lot. He bit his lower lip as all words he had died on sight. "I.. yes, if you would, I would appreciate it." He whispered, unable to do that. His attraction for his counterpart had surged dramatically and he wondered if he shouldn't move away before he tried something silly.

Managing to keep a straight face, Albert left his sunglasses on the bridge of his nose, and stroked a gloved finger along Viktor's jaw. "But Viktor, if I provide a subject for you, what do I get in return?" He allowed the intense color of his eyes to speak for him, and deepened their closeness. Their bodies were flush against each other now, it was hard to come back from a taunt like this. He wondered if maybe he was pushing the other just a bit too hard.

Albert moving closer to him had nearly undone the poor flustered scientist. "Whatever would you want for them, Albert?" He asked, trying to play the same game, managing a shy smirk as he turned toward the finger that traced his cheek and gave it a small lick and a light bite. "Hmn?" he loved their situation right now, but would never admit it. Albert's figure against his felt so nice. the blonde was so broad shouldered and built well, where he was slighter in stance. They actually fit well together in his opinion.

Albert was actually making himself a bit uncomfortable, but he would never admit it or let it show on his face. He couldn't let Viktor win, after all. He leaned in even further, completely bypassing Viktor's face and putting his lips close to his ear. "That would depend what you're willing to give, Viktor..." He let his breath tickle the ear before him, then leaned away again to look at the smaller man's face.

The whisper against his ear made Viktor flush with heat. He felt himself react in ways that would be noticed so close together, but he felt his clothing should hide such reactions, his slacks were rather loose, but then again, Albert was right against him. He almost gave the answer of 'anything' to the other's question and found his words once against stalled. "I'm willing to give a lot of things, Albert..." He managed to get out, looking at the other's lips intently and letting his eyes drift back up lustily to his eyes which sold him on being more aroused. "Please think of something soon, it's getting very warm in here.."

Indeed, he was much too close not to notice, and Albert struggled to keep from letting a flush cross his cheeks as well, though he wasn't sure why he felt affected at all. "In admitting that you're hot and bothered, Viktor, you've given me all the answer that I need." He pushed his sunglasses back up the bridge of his nose finally, giving Viktor a bit of a break, but didn't move away. He smirked. "And I know that you so desperately would like me to kiss you now, but I'd like not to damage my machines, and who knows what would happen in here if I were to let this escalate..." His words were mostly hollow, he just wanted to see what Viktor would do.

Viktor narrowed his eyes at the other. "Oh really? Fragile hmn? Let it escalate? You sound afraid of a little kissing, Albert. I'll bet you're even a virgin." He said, standing up just a bit on tip-toe before he lightly grazed his lips against Albert's. "How's that for escalating?" He asked, grinning at his teasing abilities, rather proud of himself.

"Viktor, you call that escalation? I'm inclined to think you're really the virgin here." Albert smirked and took Viktor's jaw in his fingers, pulling his face close, and kissing him rather hard on the lips. He hadn't originally intended for any of this, but what was done was done, and there was no harm in furthering it now. "I think I win now, don't you think?" Albert commented as he pulled away, still seemingly composed and calm.

If Viktor had blushed earlier, now he had to of been scarlet. He let his eyes dart about a moment, trying to make sense of what had happened. "No. I'll get you back. You just wait." He kissed him in turn from the kiss he'd been given, being sure to lick his lower lip and suck lightly on it before he groaned and pulled away. "Oh look I think that was enough for a payment, don't you?" He grinned and wondered just how to get out of his embrace, realizing he should have thought about that before teasing Albert further.

Albert adjusted his sunglasses and finally released Viktor from his embrace. "Hardly. This isn't over, Viktor." He smirked and allowed himself a small chuckle as he returned to his place by the wall, his arms crossed in front of his chest once more. He really would have liked to see Viktor simply return to his work after what had just transpired between them. He tended to let his emotions rule him, and this one would be a difficult one to fight. He definitely received the impression that the smaller man was no longer playing with him.

Viktor found it was hard to just go back to his experiments. He was cold suddenly as well, not having Albert pressed against him and resisted the urge to go and stand next to him. "So, I've completely lost my thoughts now..." He frowned a moment and then nodded. "I remember, may I please have a test subject?" He asked, pouting slightly as he asked, feeling he'd been tormented enough.

Sighing, Albert pulled a cell phone out of his coat pocket and had a quick whispered conversation with someone on the other end. "Fine, whenever you're ready to test it, I will escort you to a lab elsewhere. Of course I can't allow you to test it in here. The danger of destruction to my equipment is too likely." His tone suggested that nothing at all had just happened between them.

"I'm ready then." Viktor replied, frowning and feeling something odd that Albert was not responding to him in the same flirty manner but sounded business-like suddenly. "When you are, of course." He said, eying him curiously. He smiled a little. "You know Albert, you could always come over to my company once in a while..."

Albert raised an eyebrow. "Whatever for? Surely not to visit you? I was under the impression that we were rivals, enemies even." It sounded a bit harsh, but it was the truth, after all. "If you're ready, we'll go to the lab, then." He didn't really mean to be so abrupt, but he supposed he wanted Viktor to admit something. That Albert was the winner? Or that he...loved him? That would be quite silly, though. He couldn't entertain the thought without smirking.

"We are, dearest Albert, believe in me that. We are very much enemies, however, I would like to flaunt my newest remodeling on the fourth floor. We got it fixed after your visit last time where my experiment didn't like you being there and literally broke through the wall to get to you. I made it your guest room now if you ever have to stay." Viktor grinned as he recalled the memory.

"A guest room? How sweet of you, but I don't think I could rest easily, knowing that you would be aware of where I was sleeping." Albert smirked and led the other out of the room and down the long, boring hall again. The labs were on the floor below them, so there would be another elevator ride to endure as well. "So, what do you expect this combination of serums to accomplish? What do you think it will do?"

Viktor was insulted by the other's words. "I wouldn't attack you in your sleep, Albert. And it should cause mutation that's not necessarily spreadable, I'm making soldiers for my company you see and this one simply has to work. It should accelerate the healing process of the original virus as well, and increase power all together."

Albert was a bit surprised to hear hurt in Viktor's voice. He really was serious, wasn't he? Unless he was just a damn good actor. "I see. An interesting concept." He had little else to say on the subject, and his mind was no longer terribly concerned with work or whatever Viktor happened to accomplish in his labs. It was really just concerned with...Viktor. But he didn't really understand why.

"Anyway, I'd be glad to let you know how I've changed the virus around, if you provide my account money back, you know that would only be fair." He teased of course, he knew the other wouldn't just give it, he'd have to steal it back somehow. He felt cold a bit and walked closer to Albert for the warmth. "Why do you keep your facility so cold?"

"Many of the compounds and serums used in this place must be kept at a low temperature so that they do not become volatile. It is usually somewhere between sixty and seventy degrees here." Albert hardly ever noticed the cold. He supposed it was some combination of his leather garb and Uroboros, but he hadn't thought about it much. "Is your facility usually warm?"

"Yes, not much warmer, but enough to feel comfortable in. Albert I wanted to ask you about your virus. How do you control it?" He was curious because even though Albert was his enemy he was concerned simply because he had heard horror stories about the virus taking control and killing its host. He didn't want to lose his favorite person.

Albert frowned, but part of the expression was lost because of the sunglasses. "Generally, that information is classified, but I can tell you that it is through a countermeasure, and a certain amount of willpower." He smirked. "Of course, there is always the danger that something will trigger it, and I'll lose control..." This was entirely true, but there had not yet been any incident where he was unable to keep control over the virus.

"What sort of things trigger it?" Viktor was hooked on learning more about him now. "I'm not trying to get into information that's not for me, Albert, I'm worried that it might claim you. I've heard nasty things about the virus killing off its host and I require you for my day to day amusement." Viktor wondered if the tone of his voice didn't show that he was really worried and cared for the man.

Did his day to day amusement also include the intimate encounter that had transpired before? If that had not happened, Albert might not have been so inclined to think that something more than amusement was the cause for Viktor's worry. "A myriad of things, I suppose. Mostly strong emotions have the ability to trigger it. Anger is most likely."

"Well, I want to make that my next project. I want to be able to have you to torment for as long as we live, however, if it kills you I wont have that. And I'm not stupid enough to inject myself with that thing. It'll tear me up. But you I can work with. You should let me come up with a counter virus to help control it. Not get rid of it, I think it suits you." He referred of course to those lovely red-orange eyes and his strong form.

Albert turned his head to regard Viktor as they finally reached the elevator, then finally answered as the metal doors slid open for them. "If you want to do that Viktor, then that's up to you. I haven't had any problems controlling it so far, but if you can create something that will make it easier, be my guest."

Viktor nodded and went into the elevator. "I don't know how I would test it though. I don't want to test it on you and have something go wrong." He said, yawning a little as he was starting to get tired. "Oh my, guess who forgot to make coffee this morning. Do you have anything of the sort around your facility?" He asked, sighing in exhaustion. "I haven't been sleeping well lately."

Albert nodded and once more produced his slim, black phone from his pocket. Without preamble, he spoke into the receiver, "Please have coffee delivered to Lab 7. Five minutes." He ended the call and placed it back in his pocket once more. "Have you any idea why you haven't been sleeping well? Rest is important, you know." He didn't quite mean it seriously, since he hardly ever had the time or a reason to rest, as the virus provided him with more than enough energy.

"I haven't a clue, I usually wake up fully after an hour or two, but today I am unsually withdrawn. I think after this experiment set I will return to my own facility to sleep." Viktor half hoped he'd somehow be invited to stay at Umbrella, but he doubted it. He could tell the awkward attraction he felt was more or less his own creation. "Anyway, enough of that, thank you for ordering me coffee."

"Of course. There's no reason I shouldn't extend you that courtesy. When have I ever been discourteous to you at my own facility?" There were probably many times, in fact, when Albert had been less than hospitable, but he saw no reason not to pick up the banter again. It seemed that their conversation was heading in an awkward direction. "I'd offer for you to stay here, but I'm not sure it would be advisable to sleep here. It might be slightly dangerous."

"You wouldn't protect me, Albert?" Viktor asked, wondering what it was that made Albert's facility dangerous exactly. "You could just let me borrow your rooms for a while. I'd sleep only an hour or two. Or do you have something embarrassing in them you don't want me to find?" He smiled teasingly, being playful with Albert in his words. He wondered suddenly what his room looked like. Probably nice silky black sheets... that would be nice.

Albert smirked. "It's not that I wouldn't protect you, Viktor. It's that I'm not sure I would have the means to. I may let you borrow my rooms, though. There's nothing embarrassing in them, I assure you." The elevator stopped on the fifth floor, and Albert led the way to Lab 7, where there was already a cart with a coffee pot, cups, and other necessary things for coffee waiting outside the door.

Viktor blushed a little and set about making a cup of coffee complete with quite a bit of sugar. "Well, thank you. I'll take you up on that offer then." He said, entering the room where an unnamed soldier waited for them. He took vital signs and instructed the person to a stretcher and began his injection, nodding at the normal infection and then he took a sample of blood and analyzed it, finding that it was without pathogen only deformity. "I seem to have succeeded..." e handed the newly created monster a steel bar from his pocket and asked him to twist it. When they did he smiled. "It worked. I win."

Albert simply watched silently while Viktor performed his experiment, and was surprised to see how well it had worked. "Well done, Viktor. Why is it that you don't work for Umbrella again? We could accomplish great things, you know." It was with sincerity that he said these things, but he was still quiet certain that Viktor would turn him down.

"Because I have my own facility and my great work needs to be accomplished there as well?" Viktor offered in an explanitive way. "Believe me, we argue so much that our companies wouldn't benefit, and honestly darling, I wouldn't work under you, we are equals at best." He smiled and kissed Albert on the cheek "How about that nap?"

"...I suppose you do have a point." Albert wasn't sure how to react to the fact that Viktor had so openly kissed him this time. It wasn't like before, when he had been pressed into it, almost literally. He really believed that Viktor was attracted to him now, and wondered if it had been a dangerous idea to invite the slighter, prettier scientist into his quarters. "This way, then." It didn't matter, an invitation was an invitation. They would have a bit of a longer way to go before they reached Albert's apartments, though, a way which included several convenient elevator rides.

Viktor followed after Albert, and soon caught up to his side, content with being there. "What does your bed look like?" Viktor asked this to know if he had gotten the image presented to him right. "I picture lovely silk black sheets in a room of black and white.. sterile and neat but also speaking of you." He said, tilting his head in thought as he pictured the scene, blushing and feeling familiar with it.

Albert didn't answer for a moment, only raised an eyebrow and watched Viktor blush. It was cute on him, that embarrassed flush. It suited him well. As they reached an elevator, he replied, "That is more or less what my bedroom looks like. I had no idea my decorating was so predictable, though." A small, amused smile appeared on Albert's face as a new taunt occurred to him. "Viktor, you've either been spying on me somehow, or you think about my bedroom quite often..."

"I have not!" Viktor claimed, though the earnest need to be believed in his voice was a bit obvious. "No honestly, I haven't ever seen your rooms, I just know what you wear and what your facility looks like and from that I came to my conclusion. I'm sure if they made leather bedsheets you'd have those instead of silk." He said, smiling. "I'm rather good at guessing things. I bet you can't guess what my room looks like."

Albert almost laughed at the comment about leather bedsheets, but thought he really preferred the silk ones that were on his bed now. "I would say that your room is most likely...cluttered and disorganized, and your bed set is probably some nice color like blue or green. But then again, I could be wrong. I don't know very much about you personally, Viktor." The elevator stopped a few moments later, and Albert stepped out, gesturing for Viktor to do so as well. They weren't quite there yet, though. There was another long hallway trip, and a long elevator ride to the very top of the compound.

"I don't like blue or green thank you very much. My sheets are grey and red if you must know and so is the decor of my rooms. And for your information my room is very tidy. I like it that way otherwise I lose things." He followed after him, wondering why he chose such a disorganized image for him. "You're sure you wont mind letting me sleep in your rooms here? I promise not to snoop about. I only wish to nap." He gave a yawn which he covered almost daintily behind his hand before he smiled soft. "I really do appreciate it."

"It's not a problem. Even if you decided to snoop, there is nothing to find." They reached the next elevator, and Albert pushed the button for the top floor this time. "I apologize for assuming you were messy. It seemed like it suited you, with the way you get flustered so easily. But I suppose, in the same way, it makes sense that you are very tidy." He leaned against the back wall of the elevator, his hands clasped behind his back. "Are you sure this isn't just an excuse for you to sleep in my bed?" Albert smirked.

"You've certainly not objected to it even if it was just an excuse." Viktor replied with a smirk of his own and stood with his back against the elevator as Albert did. "If anything I'd say you sound like you want it to be an excuse for me to sleep in your bed." He smiled and did his best to ignore the comment about him being flustered. He felt he'd done well enough hiding his blushes and his nervous actions, but he could have been wrong.

"And if anything else, I'd say you would rather have an excuse for me to sleep in my bed with you." He continued to face the doors of the elevator, but he was watching Viktor from the corner of his eye for his reaction, which his sunglasses hid well enough. Now that he had mentioned it, though, Albert was contemplating doing something to fluster Viktor even more, perhaps climb into bed with him while he was napping...

Viktor thought about that. Albert lying in bed with him. Perhaps it wouldn't be a bad thing. He'd often fantasized about laying next to him after a night of passionate love making. But ah to get Albert in the same bed with him even if just to cuddle up to him would be a great feat. They may flirt endlessly, but he knew better than to think he would be so lucky. "You do have quite the go, don't you?" Viktor fired back, moving closer to him, laying his head on his shoulder in exhaustion. "I don't see you as the cuddling type, Albert, that's why i don't even bother to entertain such a hilarious thought."

"That's true, I'm not the cuddling type, at least not for my own personal comfort. But I suppose if I had a lover who liked to cuddle, I would oblige." Albert thought it rather bold of Viktor to lay his head on his shoulder that way, but decided to do something just as odd. He lazily stroked a hand across Viktor's smooth, pale cheek, a strangely comforting gesture that seemed to speak almost too much. "We're nearly there, don't fall asleep just yet."

Viktor was taken aback by Albert's kind touch. "Are you sure? Your facility has ridiculously long hallways." He said, leaning into Albert further. "And now that you mention it, I'm surprised you don't have a lover, why is that?" He asked, wondering why Albert didn't have some pretty young girl or boy running about his facility as his love.

At the question, Albert frowned. He supposed he hadn't really been interested in anyone for a very long time, and part of him hadn't wanted to share his secrets with anyone. There were many things that could potentially go wrong if he were to be intimate with someone. For instance, he had no idea if that was the sort of strong emotion that would trigger his virus. Finally, he answered, "There hasn't been anyone that has caught my interest, I suppose."

Viktor nodded his understanding and was soon completely resting against Albert, his arms about his waist. "I know how you feel." Though it was a lie, he didn't mind the thought of Albert perhaps being his lover. But then, that was a thought for some time when his dreams became reality and he didn't see that happening, however, he didn't mind the other letting him cuddle him either, it made his fantasies so much more realistic. "When you do find someone, be sure to let me tease them relentlessly on how every day life with you must be." He said lazily, his head fully pressed on the other's chest as he yawned more.

"No one else does this, you know," Albert commented, referring to many things. The way that Viktor clung to him, and the way that he attempted to insult him, and taunt him. No one else had the guts to be this close to Albert Wesker. Truly, it was a bit daunting, and he had a bit of admiration for Viktor. "No one else but you would dare to ask to sleep in my bed, or hang off of me in the way that you are doing now. It's...interesting." He wasn't sure he wanted to say exactly how much it affected him, that it made Viktor more than interesting.

"If it bothers you I will stop." Viktor said, but he didn't feel that was the case. Albert certainly wasn't removing him. He snuggled closer to that chest, letting his lips graze lightly against the fabric of his shirt, hoping it was unfelt and yet felt at the same time. He didn't know what he hoped anymore, only that he loved resting on the older man and feeling his strong chest against him. "I don't want to though, you're very comforting. You're strong of build and you feel nice to lay against."

"Hmmm..." Albert said little, but he still did not remove Viktor from his person. He had actually felt the smaller man's lips graze his shirt, but he chose not to acknowledge it just yet. The elevator finally stopped and the doors slid open, and across the hall was a single, plain door. The door led to Albert Wesker's personal apartment, which comprised most of the top floor of the building. There was a security keypad next to the door, which Albert quickly typed a code into, and opened the door. "These are my private apartments. Welcome, Viktor."

"Thank you Albert." Viktor replied, looking around the room with a smile. "It's.. exactly as I pictured." He looked to the bed and practically drooled with tired unrest. He couldn't wait to get into it and cover up in that large sleeping haven."Oh, your bed is bigger than mine.." He commented with a frown before he separated from the other, sitting on the edge of the furniture. "Are you one hundred percent sure this is fine?"

Behind his sunglasses, Albert rolled his eyes. "The next time you ask me if it's alright, I'm going to tell you no and send you home. Take advantage of my hospitality while it's being extended to you." He made a dismissive gesture, and removed his coat, slinging it over the back of a chair. "Make yourself comfortable, sleep as long as you like. When you wake, I will most likely be in the sitting room."

"Thank you." Viktor smiled at the other's irritation and began to strip out of his shirt and pants, wanting to sleep in his boxers as his clothing was always so uncomfortable to sleep in, and he didn't care if the other saw as he curled up into the sheets, enjoying the smell he smelled of the other. It was leather and whatever Albert wore as his own personal scent and he inhaled deeply and smiled at the fact he was allowed such a privilege. "Well, I'll find you when I waken then." His eyes were already becoming heavy as he said these words and winked at the other.

Albert gave an odd sort of smirk, not sure what he thought of Viktor curling up in his bed in nothing but his underwear. He closed his bedroom door quietly behind him, and sighed as he slumped in an uncharacteristic manner onto one of his leather couches. He pulled off his sunglasses and laid them on the coffee table, and rubbed the bridge of his nose. He had no idea how long Viktor was going to sleep. What could he do to entertain himself? He was sure the younger man would be asleep in a few moments, if he wasn't already, so he stole quietly back to his room, and opened the door noiselessly. Yes, Viktor was already asleep. Albert smirked and situated himself on the edge of his bed, behind Viktor's sleeping form, watching the rise and fall of his even breathing.

Viktor's sleep was relaxing and quiet. It felt so nice and he ws so comfortable in the other's bed that he was rather dead to the world. His sleep was dreamless but deep, and he didn't mind that. He loved being asleep. Even more so in his rival's bed. His unconscious mind warred within his soul. Did he really rival Albert? No, he decided he did not. He actually had rather strong feelings for him, but he'd never admit it. Albert would tease him mercilessly.

Watching Viktor sleep was much different from being around him while he was awake. He was prone and beautiful, peaceful, rather than the stressful and tense manner that he usually wore. Albert reached out a hand and laid it on Viktor's side, tracing to his hip, then he abruptly pulled his hand away, a bit embarrassed that he had decided to do something like that. This wasn't a taunt. There was no point in taunting a sleeping person. What urge drove him to touch the man sleeping in his bed?

Viktor's sleep-filled mind only lightly noticed the touch as it had tickled his sensitive flesh, causing him to smile a little and curl up tighter in the other's blankets, feeling cold and yet feeling like someone was near him, a familiar someone, but being asleep he couldn't make out who. He just smiled content and continued in his slumber.

Albert frowned as Viktor moved in his sleep. He was afraid for a moment that he had awoken him accidentally when he had touched him, but it seemed that Viktor was still asleep. He sighed inaudibly, and boldly stroked the scientist's honey brown hair. It made a nice contrast against his black silk sheets. He thought perhaps he should return to the sitting room, though, or he would have many questions to answer if Viktor awoke and found him sitting on the side of the bed, watching him sleep. He rose quickly and quietly from the edge of the bed.

Viktor's sleep had been fine but he had grown accepting and accustomed to the other being there beside him. "Albert?" He voiced quietly, waking up a little. He didn't see the other but knew somehow that the other man had been there and that was enough to recollect some of what had happened. He smiled softly and rose form the bed, bringing the blanket with him as he went out into the sitting room where Albert was. "Why did you leave?" He asked, boldly taking a seat on the man's lap, wrapping the blanket around them both while resting his head on his chest.

"Were you not really sleeping, then?" For some reason, it didn't bother him that Viktor was sitting on his lap. It was extremely cute, especially while his hair was a bit messed up, and he still looked a bit sleepy. "I left so you wouldn't ask me questions about what I was doing while you were sleeping. Otherwise I might still have been there." He paused for a moment. "Viktor, why do you do things like this? Sitting on my lap, hanging off of me in the elevator...there is something else behind it, besides taunting me, isn't there?"

"I really was sleeping, but I woke after you left. I felt your presence leave." He thought a moment at the last question. "I don't know why i do it, Albert. You and I may be rivals in some ways, but you're the only person I feel comfortable to be around and I've never heard you seriously complain." He whispered quietly. "Do you want me to move from you?" he asked, wishing the other would read his emotions of affection in his eyes rather than trying to make him say it. He kissed his cheek while he waited for an answer.

"No, not especially." Albert took advantage of their closeness once more, brushing the back of his hand over Viktor's cheek, then pressing a kiss to his lips. It was a small gesture, but it had an entirely different feel from earlier when he had had Viktor pressed against a machine. This seemed much more...voluntary. "I think I'm finished taunting you, Viktor. At least, I'm done taunting you as far as this is concerned." He stroked his fingertip across Viktor's lower lip, and kissed him once more, this time more insistently, more passionately, his other arm wrapping around the smaller man's waist and holding him closer.

Viktor responded in kind, rather surprised that he'd been kissed first, but he didn't dare complain. He was happy. Happier than he'd been in so long to have Albert kiss him this way. They'd never kissed like this. They'd teased one another with false little kisses meant to make the other flush and become flustered, but this was gentle and intimate, this was something new that Viktor found he wished to cling to. He returned the kiss more incessantly, enjoying it more and more with each second that passed as he held tighter to the other.

Albert found the blanket around Viktor to be rather annoying and impeding, so he shoved it away from him, revealing the scientist in nothing but his boxers, sitting atop his lap. He wrapped his arm around him once more, pulling him much closer, and began to kiss him once more. Part of him was worried that the virus would respond to this, and something terrible would happen, but that didn't seem to be the case so far. He still felt as though he was in control. His kisses traveled from Viktor's mouth downward, to his neck, where he kissed and bit playfully.

Viktor shivered and slipped his fingers into Albert's short and normally tidy hair."How long have you felt like I feel?" He asked, wondering if he was truly feeling sweet bits of love from the other or if it was another one of his teasing ploys. "Tell me you're not just taunting me this time.." He needed confirmation of that, he didn't want to be just a toy to Albert.

"I told you I was done taunting you, and I was being honest. This is not a joke, Viktor." Albert kissed his lips once more. "I am not sure how long I've felt like this, but I suppose I realized that I felt this way only hours ago, when I had you in a most compromising position. That is also when I realized you felt this way." He uttered a small chuckle. "Do you think I would have invited you to sleep in my bed if that was not the case?"

"No,I guess you wouldn't have." Viktor replied before kissing Albert again with his own kind of kiss. Gentle, but demanding at the same time. He wondered how he could keep the other as his own. "So, I guess we don't have to flirt relentlessly with each other anymore?" He asked with a teasing grin, nibbling on the other's neck as Albert had done to him moments before.

Albert responded to the nibbling with a kind of growl, then said, "No, that's probably not necessary anymore, though I wonder how fun it will be without it?" He smiled and let his eyes travel Viktor's body for a moment before he caught himself. "What happened to napping? You slept for a grand total of maybe five minutes." He smoothed Viktor's hair away from his face. "Will you get your rest if I sleep as well?"

"Yes, I think I can manage if you're beside me." Viktor said with a low moan at being touched. He gave the other one last bite to the neck and rose with the blanket wrapped back around him. "Maybe you can keep me warm,it would only be fair in this obnoxiously cold place." He smiled and took Albert by the hand, beginning to lead him back to his bedroom.

Albert followed willingly, leaving his sunglasses behind on the coffee table in the sitting room. He took his hand back gently and undressed himself, leaving his black shirt and leather pants in an untidy pile on the floor. He climbed into bed in much the same attire as Viktor, holding out his hand in invitation. "Come now, Viktor. You need to rest."

Viktor blushed at the sight of Albert's unclothed body. "Albert, I complimented you earlier.. but honestly.. You look.... so nice to me." He said, grinning a little. Albert was a nicely built man, well muscled without being bulky and that made Viktor practically worship him with his eyes. He wanted to touch him but was a good little boy and crawled into bed.

Once Viktor had crawled into bed, Albert pulled the covers over both of them, and wrapped his arms around Viktor protectively. He wasn't tired in the least, but he was willing to lay there and feign sleep so long as it helped Viktor rest as well. He closed his eyes, breathing in the scent of the smaller man's hair, some sweet and clean shampoo smell. It was odd to think that only a few hours ago, they had been locked in a vicious battle of flirtation and attempted humiliation, and now they were sharing a bed. He smiled to himself and whispered, "Goodnight, Viktor."

"Goodnight, Albert." Viktor replied, pulling the other even tighter about him if possible, smiling content. He was happy and that was what mattered, he could tell Albert was happy as well and that made him soar in spirited happiness. He hoped he'd wake next to him and they would begin a very different friendship between one another.

Somehow, Albert had actually managed to nod off, holding Viktor while they slept, and he woke what seemed like hours later. He reached for his cell phone on the nightstand and found that it actually had been several hours since they had laid down to sleep. He looked over the still sleeping form of his counterpart, wondering if he should refer to him as his lover now, and smiled a bit. He gently prodded him awake, whispering his name. "Viktor, it's nearly morning. Your company is going to think I kidnapped you..."

Viktor rose and mumbled something about being woke up out of a perfectly good sleep and frowned at the clock. "Ah yes, they will wonder. Well, I suppose I'll come back by later? Or will you come over?" He asked, thinking it would be nice to actually be visited by the other for once. He dressed slowly, reluctantly.

"Perhaps I'll come visit you, provided I won't be attacked by another conveniently rampaging experiment." Albert smiled knowingly, standing and dressing as well. "Shall I escort you out, or do you suppose you can navigate this building without me? It should just be an elevator ride straight down to the ground floor." There was something that Albert thought he might do before Viktor returned to his own company, but he would have little time to do it if he escorted him out.

"Well. I know my way around I suppose, so I guess I can find my own way out. But I expect you over later for lunch." Viktor said, wishing though for a nice romantic kiss by his car or something. "Ah well, So I'll see you later then?" He asked while stepping on tiptoe to kiss the other.

At the last minute, as if to say that he didn't really want Viktor to leave, Albert deepened their kiss, pulling Viktor closer by the small of his back. "I'll be over for lunch, so I'll see you soon. Remember to rest once in a while so you don't overwork yourself." He smoothed his hair back once more, and kissed his forehead. "Oh, and please check your accounts once you return to your company." Once Viktor left, he planned to return the entire sum of the money that he had taken from Tri-Cell and Viktor, with a little extra for compensation. It was the least he could do, really. Anything to make Viktor happy.

Viktor was more than elated at the kiss. He loved that he and Albert now shared such a close bond withone another, and he most certainly felt that Albert was the 'one' forhim. He didn't even want to leave now. Who knows, maybe in the future they would merge companies. He did return and he checked his accounts and he loved Albert evenmore. "Secretly, Albert Wesker is a sweet man." He whispered to himself before carrying out a normal day at Tri-Cell.
