Username: [Araglas]

Character Name: Alkeron 'Araglas' Monoske

Gender: Male

Race: Elzden Cleric, Elzden Wizard

Age: Alkeron's age is something of a mystery even to him as he has lost the capability to remember that far back in time to when he was first born. He has the appearance of someone in his early adulthood, ready to start a family of his own. He doesn not age, and his appearance does not change. He is forever to remain the same age and the same likeness as when he was first chosen to begin in the service of The Goddess.

Birthdate: With his birth so far in the past, the exact date ins no longer something that Alkeron can remember. He has no memory of his family before he was admitted to the temple of The Goddess.

Kingdom with Fealties To (or none): Alkeron has seen Kingdoms come and go, Empires rise and crumble to dust. He has in the past never declared fealty to any kingdom unless he had perfect reason to. Before his death he had sworn fealty to the Empire of Naran and the Kingdom of Zellorah. The Shadow Kingdom was not his enamy, but the King who ruled it, and the court who supported him were his enamies.

Rank/ Occupation: Cleric of The Goddess, Wizard, Advisor, and Healer

Personality: Alkeron's personality has gone through many transitions, the first being of a cleric. Stoic and passionate he was the epitome of all that could be taught and represented in his religion. He helped those who needed it and even did so at great risk to his own self. He always did so without ever asking for reward or even thinking of one. The only reward was seeing the people smile and learning that they were not alone. Then came the time he was taught the magic of his calling, and he became wise and mystic. He learned the intriquecies of all that he could be taught until there was nothing left for him to learn. And then, came the time for him to become an Advisor, and a strategist for his land, and he became cool and calculating. He was able to set ambushes and traps for enamy countries and would not have a problem unless civilians on either side were hurt.

As much as he had to be what he was at the time he could not change the fact that he valued innocent life above all others. He would send troops to help outlying farms much to the ire of those in power, but none could oppose him as his status was above theirs. Then, tragedy struck during the war, and Alkeron lost all sence of who he was and what he was meant to do. For even though he is a man of peace and learning and compassion, there lies a darker side to him. Under the most extreme circumstances Alkeron loses control of himself, becoming a beserker. Lost in rage and anger, relying on instinct and his most basic urges. He does his absolute best to never let any situation ever result in that but it has happened twice in his lifetime. After the war, he became a wanderer, numb to the world and never staying in a place long.

Before his death, he was starting to open up, he was starting to share who he was with those around him. Only those closest would come to know he was any different than they or those around them. He had started to love again, trust again, and hope that maybe his time on this world was not doomed. But then it was ripped away from him by his Half Brother, the Shade Niros.

Now, Araglas has a stronger sense of right and wrong, and is apable of trusting people completely. He knows that war is ugly, and that people will die, maybe even the ones he cares about and loves. But he still will protect those that are innocent with every fiber of his being not allowing them to fall to harm. His link to The Goddess is stronger than ever as well, allowing him to wield some of her power and strength in situations where he would need it. She speaks to him more as well, not leaving him alone for long. He has a new sense of serenity, he can be calm in the most dire of situations, and doesn't seem all together human anymore. He seems more divine than he ever was or claimed to be.

Physical Appearance: Alkeron has an exotic look, far different than the last time he was alive. His eyes are more almond shaped, but are the same crystal blue color they have always been. His face is more anguler and chiseled, giving him more of an elfin look. His hair is the same golden color its always been, but now there are two long braids that hang down his back tied off with silver cords. His body is more defined and toned than the last time, choosing to have more physical presence than las time. His fingers are long and delicate, allowing for a more controled use of his magic and water manipulation.

Height: Alkeron stands at an unusual 5 foot 9 inches tall, growing a few inches since his last time on the physical plane. He is just a fraction taller than most humans and still shorter than most fantastical races he normally has interations with.

Weight: Alkeron's weight is an oddity about him, he weighs exactly 175 lbs. somewhat light for his hight and stature. He likens it to his magical affinity, saying that he is able to manipulate the water in his body to either make him heavier or lighter.

Powers: Alkeron has three gifts or powers as they are called by the common folk. The first being the ability to heal people. By using magical energies and the manipulation of water molecules in a persons body he is able to speed up the healing process. He can heal anything from broken bones to gashes and cuts. There have even been instances where he has brought back a person from just the otherside of deaths door. But it nearly killed him as well.

His second gift, is the manipulation and control over the various magical energies of the world around him. He can use these energies to create shields, barriers, beams of light, and so on and so forth. It's all within the basic structures of magic he has learned over his entire lifetime, even learning some of the scientific views of the Naran Empire when it comes to magic. As it is, he is most likely one of the most gifted Wizards of the time, able to weild large amounts of magical energies without causing harm to himself.

His last and most powerful gift, is the ability to summon, control, and manipulate water. At a young age he was found to have this unique talent and it was what led him to be in the service of The Goddess and to become a Wizard. He is able to pull it from the air, from sources of water, from plants, and even people. He can do absolutely anything with water and he has had his entire lifetime to hone this skill to be a deadly weapon or a powerful tool. He even has the ability to make it rain. He can do these things by either thinking about them, or using his hands for guidance.

Strengths: Magic is one of his greatest strengths, having been taught many things that are no longer taught or even remembered in the world today. His compassion and emotions are another strength for him, guiding him to do the right thing and help those who cannot help themselves. Being a Mediator and a Tactition are also strengths of his as well as being an Advisor and a Teacher.

Weaknesses: One of his greatest weaknesses is also his greatest strengths, his emotions. If he were to go beserk, he would no longer be the same person, just a creature of unlimited power and a want to destroy that which threatens him. Another of his greatest weaknesses is martial might. He is not a fighter, he knows some about fighting but relies on his gifts and powers before resorting to what little he knows.

Weapons: His control of water is a most apt weapon, deadly even. He can use water to form any weapon he could need, and even form a shield or barrier if need be. He can exert his control over the water in a beings body(if they have any), and use it to do harm to them.

Other than that his only weapon was a staff that could transform into any weapon he needed, a gift from a friend a very long time ago. He gave this weapon to Evosias, right before he died, and it still resides with him.

Hobbies: Alkeron has few hobbies that he had yet to share with anyone before his passing. He loved to chronicle his time in the world, writing his own history books of everything he had seen and witnessed over the years.

Another of his hobbies is teaching those whom he finds have the gift for magic, or elemental magic. His former pupil, Zane, is a Healer and a Fire Mage, able to do with fire as Alkeron does with water. Besides himself, Zane has been the only other Elemental Magic user he has ever come across.

The last of his hobbies, is a secret one, making magical items, mostly jewelry for those he cares about. Before he passed one he had been working on a gift for Evosias, but had never managed to finish it. It was a ring, made of a blue and white metal like substance. It was in fact made of ice, infused with magical energy to protect it from chipping, melting, and any type of harm. The ring had ripples of water etched into it, with small rubies dancing in the waves. On the inside of the band was an inscribed message that started with Evo unti... He wasn't able to finish it. There is also a small raise where a larger jewel might rest, but it remains unfinished, and only Alkeron knew what would go there.

Abilities: Alkeron's abilities are unlike any seen in the world for a very long time, not since the first wart ravaged the land. With his ability to heal, manipulate water, and to control the magicl energies of the world, he is a very dangerous person. But even more than that, he is immortal, he does not age, or change in appearance. He had a magical cloak, a gift from a friend from long years past that would protect him from all forms of weapons.

Pets: None

Relatives: Niros is his half brother, and a shade more so than that. He is the epitome of all the Alkeron stands against and will continue to stand against.

Loved One: Evosias, Andromeda

Companions (friends): Erindor, Erador, Malestrome, Draygun, Zane, Connor, Octavion, Shinya, Shenya, and the many other people he has met on his journeys.

History: Alkeron's history is clouded by the mists of time, having been born so long ago he can no longer even remember it. But here and now is the history of his origons, recounted from a source.

Alkeron was born into a world that was filled with magic and wonder, the youngest song of a family of three with two older sisters. His family were the working noble class, meaning though they were noble they still worked and earned wages and money. He was born into a city that was advanced for its age, with a hierarchy not seen before and had not been seen since. His people all worked, for the betterment of the whole instead of the one. His people weren't exactly human either, they were a people known as the Elzden. Or the "Elder People", they were generally light skinned and had a miriad of colors for hair and eyes. Alkeron's mother had bright red hair, while his father had bright green, while his two older sisters had purple and black. They were a peaceful people, who worshiped The Goddess, or "Monden", which is "The Mother" in their language. Alkerons life was a simple one, he was raised by family and friends until he turned the age of two, and he was found to have an elemental magical gift.

In that time, magic was a blessed thing, a gift from The Goddess and people who had this gift were revered as "Tostel" or "Touched" by The Goddess. Alkeron and his family were moved from their home to an area near one of their greatest temples to The Goddess. His family still worked, but had a slightly more easier life, and it was an easier transition for Alkeron to still be with his family, but be with others like him. His training to be a cleric started after he was moved into the Temple, and continued on until he reached the age of 10 summers. Then, he was trained in the arts of magic, so that he could better understand himself, and the energies in the world around him. This training went on until he turned 20, a young man in his prime, ready to start a family of his own and Rever The Goddess.

But War came to his country, brought by some other land that wanted their riches and their power that they could not give away for it was not theirs to give. This other land's symbol was an emblazened sun, etched into everything this enemy owned, armor and shields and weapons and money alike. Though they were peaceful, their Goddess rallied them, sending visions to her chosen, or the "Tostel" so that her people could defend themselves. Alkeron was turned into a Strategist, using his smarts and wits to lead small armies under his command into battle. He himself even went out into the fields many times to make sure things went smoothly. He was not like a select few of the "Tostel" who remained in safe places while others were in danger. The war lasted for a year, and in that time, Alkeron rose in fame and in status. He was the best at what he did and no one could question that, but some were unhappy with him, other "Tostel" were jealous of him and vowed to end his new status.

Over the years of his rise to fame, Alkeron had befriended a soldier his age, name Araglas. This young man was smart, intelligent, and was far wiser in battle strategy than most of the older men in the war council. But he was looked down upon because he came from the lowest class in the system, "Dost" or "Well Trodden" meaning that he had to walk every where to find work and to make money for his family. Alkeron was glad to recognize his intelligence before someone else did, he took Araglas under his arm and the two became fast friends. They taught each other things that only they could, and they both started to rise in fame. Alkeron for his Strategic genious, and Araglas for being one of the best martial warriors in their nation. They were inseperable, and there were even rumors of them being lovers. In that time, love was considered a gift from The Goddess. Same Sex relationships were normal and not frowned upon. Though they denied having such a relationship, they did admit to having a very strong friendship.

Then everything changed in a single moment. It was a routine border patrol, Alkeron had volunteered along with Araglas and a small patrol of warriors. They were about ten in all, five swordsmen, three bowmen, Araglas, Alkeron, and a Messenger. Normally there would be two to three clerics or magic users in a group, but Alkeron was one of the best, and could handle things on his own. As they neared the border of their homeland, Alkeron noticed the stench of burning flesh in the air, and his group hurried onwards towards a small border village. At the village, they discovered a large group of their own troops fighting with a band of enemy troops, including a handful of magic users. Immediately jumping into the battle Alkeron started healing and defending the troops against magical attack. But out of the houses poured more enemy troops and magic users.

It was a tragic battle, completely one sided with the enemy killing them off one by one. With the messenger already returning to raise the alarm Alkeron was confronted by one his fellow "Tostel" who had just finished killing on of his own warriors. Betrayel was something he had never encountered before and he did his best to reason with his fellow Tostel, but was met with bitter hatred and madness. Somehow, in the following battle of magic, the other Tostel was able to gain the upper hand. He was a controller of earth, as Alkeron was of water, and was about to lay the killing blow when Araglas intervined and took the blow for himself. As his broken body lay on the ground, he begged Alkeron to never forget him, and to forgive the ones who lost their way. It was only then, that he realized that none of the enemy troops were enemies. They were warriors of his own nation, killing his troops and innocent people just because they hated him.

A fury such as he had never known rose up in Alkeron, and not even the gentle touch of The Goddess could quell him. Rain poured from the sky as his eyes turned the color of storm clouds. His energy bounced off of him like lightning igniting small fires as he walked across the grass. The wind howled as he called upon his elemental magic and tore the other Tostel apart from the inside using his own body water. He then turned on the troops that had slain his friends and warriors. He did the same to them, rending them limb from limb using nothing but the water in their bodies. But it wasn't enough, being covered in their blood and knowing that they had died at his hands, it wasn't enough. He called more upon his gift, and rose upon a giant tidal wave that swept across the land. He road this wave the enemy nation that threatened his home, and he buried it under water. He obliterated it from existence, drowning anyone and everyon he saw.

He then turned his sights on his own country, because he knew there were others that hated him and would try to kill him as well. He created a new wave, much larger than the one before, and he rode it across the land. And once he reached his nation, he found it in ruins, a seperate sect of Tostels had tried to overthrow the Hierarchy and had killied many people. With a new wave of anger he obliterated his once proud and strong nation from the world using his Goddess given gift. Afterwards, he lost consciousness, and woke to find himself in the embrace of his Goddess. He had no memory of what had happened, or what he had done, and The Goddess only told him that the war had ended, and neither side was victorious. She told him he was the last of his kind, and that if he wished, she would take him to where he would no longer feel pain or any of the pains of the world. He declined, instead asking her to allow him to remain, so that he could stop things like this from happening again.

So, The Goddess blessed him with eternal life, and youth, and let him keep his cloak and staff, which had been a gift from Araglas. He even took on his old friend name for his own, as he no longer had reason to keep his. He wandered the land, advising and helping where he could. Watching new worlds and poers rise and tumble in the blink of an eye. And along the way, he lost himself, he grew numb to the world around him. He even stopped hearing the voice of the Goddess. He was lost. And then he met Evosias, who brought sound and life back into his world. He started to open himself to Evosias, and started to remember who he was and why he did what he did. He even started hearing the Goddess' voice again, and though at first she was single minded. She grew to know that Evosias and Araglas were meant to be, until Araglas died at the hands of his Half Brother, Niros, the Shade of the Shadow Kingdom. He died to protect those he loved, and his soul and spirit were taken by The Goddess to the heavens above where he could rest for a time, and know no pain.
