Artun IX
Artun IX became ruler of Kerith in 281AF. His reign was long, but bloody, as his radical proclamations inspired a peasant revolt costing the lives of thousands over a decade. Killed during a hunting expedition by a 'stray' arrow, he was succeeded in 323AF by Artun X, his cousin.
Significant Information:
Put hundreds to death under the pretext of treason.
Created the first known instance of martial law in Kerith.
Used a lance in battle.
