Atara Lota

(History of Inari)

Atara's rise to command in Avatar was kept a tightly guarded secret. Larune's replacement quickly organized the group which had been a loosely structured community of theifs, assassins, and other criminal elements. She shaped it into the elite force it is as Act IV: Crystal Saga begins.
She's no fool; operations are carried out by a closely watched chain of command. Every rank has two officers, each one ensuring the other does their job correctly. Dissention is treated with swift, harsh precision: death or imprisonment and torture are all a rebel or deserter can hope for.
Lota is no commander leading from behind by necessity, however; The weapon she carries with her at all times has claimed many lives at her paws. She uses a specially designed chain, each link a solid high strength titanium alloy, linked to a larger piece of the same material cut into the shape like a multi-sided die, the edges precision sculpted to be as sharp as possible in the shape they are. The entire thing is reinforced by a complex enchantment she herself engineered and cast, giving it the ability to become white-hot in an instant, while preventing it from becoming soft in the process, as well as giving it something like a life of its own, the chains "healing" back into solid pieces when re-linked on the rare occasions they break.

Comments: I decided to make her a blue kitsune seeing as Inari is red, therefore increasing how unlike eachother they are. She reflects the cold, calculating side of my mind, a part that is impartial and cares very little about other people's emotions if at all. Her weapon of choice is that chain of hers, a long range flexible weapon versus Inari's long and inflexible staff or sword. She also uses spellwork up close, while Inari uses it mostly at long range. While the picture of her I have in my minds eye is also blue, it looks much better than this. For some reason, I just can't make them look right blue.
