Appearance: Look at the pic. He can hide his wings but not in a graveyard. There he becomes distinctly more concerning, having been mistaken many, many times for the grim reaper. When he steps into a graveyard, he can not help but look like that, as when he is elsewhere, and looks like in that picture, he is showing an illusion. A very good illusion.
History: Born from the forces of Death that reign over souls, Aure was made for his job and it shows. He doesn't mind his work, though he isn't the smiley sort. If he isn't taking the light and the shadows aren't advancing on you, he's in a good mood. That's the best you get. How he came to change his ways to checking out the rest of the town outside the tombstones is still a mystery. He was, however, there for the war and helped guide many souls to the their destinations. Took many himself, too. He's pretty benign and shows little emotion, though he must be nice since he often acquiesces to requests. Certain things just set the guy off, though, and without so much as a twitch of his eye, the darkness will close in and then the lights come back on, and a body is missing, and he never appeared to move. The guy is dangerous. Good thing he's, essentially, a good guy.
Weapons/posessions: A very large, scary ass scythe. Not only can it tear you to shreds, it can tear your soul out of your still living body and banish it to the darkness.
The bright thing in the picture? That's not always there. That bubbly mass of light is his lantern, that he uses while watching over the graveyard. If you catch him in the graveyard, just leave him alone. Disturbing him, catching his attention, you may be ok, but when the light goes out, it's lights out for you, because not even the moon shines where he resides when on duty.
