Skills, level and all the other stuff you need to know

When your description is ready, you can select your skills. These are essential when playing Aurum. You can only divide a surtain amount of skillpoints (sp) when you rise a level. Once a skillpoint is set to a skill, it stays there. If the guardians find out a player is cheating, he/she will be immediatly banned from the game . The skills you have are bound to the class you have chosen.
For every level you rise, you gain 10 skill points to divide.
There is a difference made between "weapon", "magic" and "common" skills. Weapon Skill (WS) cost 2 SP per skill level, Magic Skills(MS) are 3 SP per skill level and Normal Skills (NS) 1 SP. If a class does not have a skill, you can not but SP in it, logicaly. However, A character might be able to help a party member preform an skill he/she does not control (e.g.: a character that does not master sail, can take control of a ship as long as a character that can sail aids him.)while helping someone, a character cannot preform another action.
Also important is leveling. The GM of your party determines when you level (GM note: on your party page, you have to note how much xp is needed). If there are complaints about a GM abusing his powers, send your complaint to one of the guardians, and they will check it out.

EXAMPLE: a warior.
Warrior skills
. Melee weapon specialitation (WS): Choose any one melee weapon type (e.g. swords, Axes) for this skill and put SP in it for more damage. A warrior automaticly gains a SL of 3 on this skill.
- So this is how it works:
. *Name skill* (skill type: WS, MS or NS ): *explanation* However it's harder then this, This skill is propably the most important warrior skill, for the higher his skill level, the higher the damage bonus and accuracy he gets with the selected type of weapons. The same goes for some MS with magic using classes. (see also Aurum Weapons and Spells) .
Health (NS): The amount of hitpoints you have and resistance against illness and poisons. A warrior automaticly gains a Skill level of 2 on this skill. (see also Aurum HP for more explanation on the amount of HP per level)
. Strenght (WS): This skill determins how strong you are.

These are are all the special skills a warrior has, the rest listed are normal skills. Most of these are avaible to every other class aswel with some exeptions.
. Animal handle (NS): determins how good you are at handeling animals
. Bluf (NS): How good you can bluf
. Charm (NS): How good you are at charmng other characters.
. Climbing (NS): How good you're char is at climbing objects. some objects might need a special skill to be climable.
. Cooking (NS): How well you are at cooking meals
. Diplomacy (NS): How good you are in talking and convincing others.
. Intimidating (NS): How intimidating you are towards others
. Speed (NS): How fast you are in running, reflexes,...
. Swim (NS): How good you are at swimming, how much weight you can carry when swimming,...

- As you can see there alot of skills like diplomacy and cooking that are only necesarry for one member of a party, so parties should always discuss who uses his SP for which skill, and thus prevent sp to be wasted

Now, you have a discription, picked your class and divided your skills/ SP? Make a wiki page named: *you're characters name here**space**Aurum*@wiki and PM it to [Deadlock jester]. If the system is for some reason not clear, or you have comments,

-> Example char: Warrior Example Aurum
