Blue Magic
Blue magic comes from dusty tomes and bubbling beakers of strange liquids. Blue mages are the ones who study such things and their magic is the application of this knowledge.

Shimmer

Description: Causes the air to shimmer obscuring light that passes through it. It takes an observation check of 60 to tell what is behind the shimmering air.
Smell Magic (Aura)
Required Ranks: 5
Description: As long as this spell is on mage’s spell list, mage has the ability to smell the ethereal vapors of magic. Each division (or even function) of magic has a distinct smell which suits its nature.
Magic Finger
Required Ranks: 5; Energy Cost: 2; Casting Time: 1 action; Range: 10 lurks
Description: Moves an object weighing up to 2lbs up to 2 lurks.
Alter
Required Ranks: 5; Energy Cost: 10; Casting Time: 1 action; Duration: 1 hour; Range: touch
Description: Change a single property of an object. This spell can change the objects smell, color, or taste. It can also alter weight by making it up to half or double its normal weight.
Find
Required Ranks: 10; Energy Cost: 10; Casting Time: 1 round; Range: 20 lurks
Description: Locates an object physically described in a 20 lurk radius.
Send Thought
Required Ranks: 10; Energy Cost: 10; Casting Time: 1 action; Range: 10 lurks
Description: Send a mental message of 20 words or less to target.
Arcane Dart
Required Ranks: 15; Energy Cost: 5; Casting Time: 1 action; Range: 10 lurks; Save: avoid vs. attack
Description: Used as a weapon with Spell’s Powers +20 accuracy and +5 damage. Caster may cast this spell multiple times a turn for 3 less energy per extra action.
Shield
Required Ranks: 15; Energy Cost: 20; Casting Time: 1 action; Duration: 1 minute; Range: caster’s person
Description: Caster receives a bonus of Spell’s Power to avoid.
Second Sight (Aura)
Required Ranks: 15
Description: So long as this spell is one a mages spell list, the mage can see with out her eyes or light. Benefits include being able to see in the dark, in fog, through murky water or similar obscuration (though not through solid objects) and to see through less powerful illusions then this spell. This ability can not be used to see further then 10 lurks.
Light Telekinesis
Required Ranks: 15; Energy Cost: 10; Casting Time: 1 action; Range: 10 lurks
Description: Moves an object weighing up to 20lbs up to 10 lurks.
Empower Spell (Aura)
Required Ranks: 20
Description: When this spell is placed on a mage’s Spell List, pick another spell on the same Spell List. That spell receives +10 to Spell’s Power.
Century
Required Ranks: 25; Energy Cost: 30; Casting Time: 1 round; Duration: 1 hour; Range: 10 lurk radius around where the spell is cast
Description: If a condition is met with in a 10L radius where the spell was cast, the caster knows.
Magic Fist
Required Ranks: 25; Energy Cost: 15; Casting Time: 1 action; Range: 10 lurks; Save: avoid vs. attack
Description: Sock someone from a distance. Make an attack against a target in range with Spell’s Power +10 accuracy and +25 damage.
Morph Face
Required Ranks: 30; Energy Cost: 25; Casting Time: 1 round; Duration: 1 hour; Range: caster’s person
Description: Caster’s face changes according to the caster’s will. This gives the caster a Spell’s Power +10 bonus to disguise.
Apprentice’s Illusion
Required Ranks: 30; Energy Cost: 20; Casting Time: 1 rounds; Duration: 1 hour; Range: 10 lurks; Save: observation check vs. Caster Rank + 10
Description: Creates a static image of something that isn't there. An observation check of Spell’s Power +10 is needed to see as false. The image is incorporeal.
Magic Eye
Required Ranks: 40; Energy Cost: 20; Casting Time: 10 minutes; Duration: as long as wanted; Range: unlimited
Description: The caster enters a trace like state and her mind’s eye, starting at the caster’s location may travel at 5 lurks per round. The mind’s eye possesses all the senses of the caster except for touch. The caster’s mind’s eye can move through solid objects.
Spell Ward
Required Ranks: 40; Energy Cost: 30; Casting Time: 1 action; Duration: 1 minute; Range: caster’s person
Description: Caster can not be affected directly by spells weaker then Spell’s Power +10.
Levitate
Required Ranks: 40; Energy Cost: 25; Casting Time: 1 action; Duration: 1 minute
Description: Caster can fly at a speed of 1 lurk per round.
Null Touch
Required Ranks: 40; Energy Cost: 25; Casting Time: 1 action; Duration: permanent or 10 minutes (see below); Range: touch
Description: Touched spells effects with strength up to Spell’s Power are nullified (have no further affects) magical items with power up to Spell’s Power or less lose their magical properties for 10 minutes.
Stun Finger
Required Ranks: 40; Energy Cost: 25; Casting Time: 1 action; Duration: 10 minutes; Range: touch; Save: Fortitude check vs. Spell Power + 10
Description: Target is rendered unconscious for the duration of the spell.
Summon Seeker
Required Ranks: 45; Energy Cost: 25; Casting Time: 1 minute; Duration: 10 minutes
Description: Summons an incorporeal guide that leads caster toward a specified place, person or object.
Apprentice’s Counter Spell
Required Ranks: 50; Energy Cost: 10; Casting Time: 1 action; Range: 10 lurks
Description: Prevents a weaker spell from taking affect. Caster must interrupt the opponent’s turn to cast this spell effectively.
Detect Thoughts
Required Ranks: 65; Energy Cost: 20; Casting Time: 1 action; Duration: 50 words; Range: 10 lurks; Save: will check vs. Spell’s Power + 10
Description: Caster can listen in on target’s surface thoughts for 50 words.

Required Ranks: 65; Energy Cost: 20; Casting Time: 1 round; Range: touch
Description: Makes a pick lock check of Spell’s Power +30 and dispels ward spells weaker then Key.
Empower Spell II (Aura)
Required Ranks: 70
Description: When this spell is placed on a mage’s Spell List, pick another spell on the same Spell List. That spell receives +30 to Spell’s Power.
Stun Bolt
Required Ranks: 70; Energy Cost: 35; Casting Time: 1 action; Duration: 1 hour; Range: 10 lurks; Save: Fortitude check vs. Spell Power + 20
Description: Target is rendered unconscious for the duration of the spell.
Counter Spell I
Required Ranks: 75; Energy Cost: 30; Casting Time: 1 action; Range: 15 lurks
Description: Prevents an opponent’s spell with strength up to Spell’s Power + 10 from taking affect. Caster must interrupt the opponent’s turn to cast this spell effectively, but also receives a +10 bonus to sequence when trying to do so.
Null Burst I
Required Ranks: 75; Energy Cost: 40; Casting Time: 1 action; Range: 15 lurks
Description: Target spell with power up to Spell’s Power + 10 are nullified (have no further affects) or target magical item with power up to Spell’s Power +10 or less lose its magical properties for 1 day.
Spell Bubble
Required Ranks: 80; Energy Cost: 40; Casting Time: 1 action; Duration: 1 hour; Range: touch
Description: This spell creates a bubble around target. The spells weaker then Spell’s Power + 25 can not affect anything on the other side of the bubble from were they are cast. If a spell does penetrate the bubble, the bubble breaks. If someone touches the target, the bubble remains in between them.
Possibility Walk
Required Ranks: 80; Energy Cost: 80; Casting Time: 0 actions
Description: Remember the state of everything in the game when this spell is cast. The players and GM then play through the next round of the game. Then everything reverts to how it was when the spell was cast and the game continues normally. Only the caster remembers the events of the before mentioned round and may change his actions accordingly. The energy used to cast the spell is still spent.
