Information: Bankotsu is a human merchenary that was beheaded by shoguns because his team, the Shichinin-tai, was too powerful. Later on, Naraku revived him, and ordered him to kill InuYasha. With the shards of the Shikon Jewel that Naraku gave him, Bankotsu became very powerful.

Bankotsu ends up being the only member of the Shichinin-tai left alive. He has a sword that bares a shard of the shikon jewel, which makes it stronger than an average sword, but he gets destroyed by a demon energy ball that came out of the hatered of his sword.
