Ground buckwheat groats
1 and 1/4 cup of milk or dairy substitute
1/8th teaspoon salt
1/4 cup buckwheat groats
Dried fruit if you like*
* I add either cranberries or blueberries, or add fresh fruit after its cooked. I also add a little to taste of maple syrup while I am cooking it.
Directions:
Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer stirring often. Takes between 10 -15 minutes, and makes one healthy serving or enough for two with some rye toast.
