Appearance: Cassandra is 5 feet 6 inches of pure optimism. Her face is well structured, with high cheekbones and an upturned nose over small, cherry-colored lips. Her skin would be considered fair if it were not buried in freckles. Her almond green eyes hide behind large, many-lensed spectacles, and disappear into her eyelashes when she laughs. Her red-orange hair is cut in an inverted bob, with a long lock of hair that waves down the left side of her face. She wears a loose, white cotton blouse under a Chinese-styled button-up white tunic with knee-length cloth stretching down in front and behind like a loincloth. On top of that, she usually tightens a brown corset around her waist, as well as a few belts. Comfortable brown pants with plenty of pockets cover her legs and tuck into her calf-height brown leather boots. She is very fond of wearing straw hats to shade her face in hopes that she won't freckle as much. Around her neck rests a square silver locket engraved with a crane fishing amongst reeds holding the first beetle she ever caught in Africa.

Profession: Cassandra is a naturalist by profession, working for the Queen, compiling the natural wildlife of the Crown's African colonies.

History: Cassandra was born in Berwick, England to a doctor and a housewife. She went to a private school, when her parents were both trampled to death by horses. Grief-stricken and left with a fortune, she moved to Cambridge, changed her name to Sam Floydd, bound her chest, and paid a rediculous amount of money to get a degree as a naturalist. After that, she was commissioned by the Queen to go and catalogue every plant, insect, and animal in North Africa. Once she got off the boat, she decided Cassandra O'Connor wanted to be in North Africa more than Sam Floydd did, and she's been happily cataloguing everything in sight since then.

Personality: Cassandra is optimistic, outgoing, and very friendly. She has a heart that bleeds easily and a great deal of compassion for the needy. She adores the outdoors but is also somewhat vain. She tends to talk much more than she's invited to.
