The Celts wore little if any in the way of armour and clothing for battle. because of this they were very vunerable to arrow fire and pretty much any attack. they fought in a dis-organised melee no formation or squads just a big charge of hundreds of thousands of big feirce men with blue woad dye covering their bodies. this tatic cost them many battles as they were much less trained then most of their advisarys. their main offence was light chariots which held two or three people; a driver a spearman and a bowman. these fighting impliments made great skirmiish fighters costing many a man his life.

The Celts were more suited to fighting small scale tribal wars amongst themselves then big war against invaders hence why the let England and southern scotland be taken by Romans and then later Vikings and Anglo-Saxons.
