Chapter 5- Hell Have No Fury (Part 1)
Elliot’s Point of View (POV)

I knew that this day was going to be bad from the moment that I woke up with Max blasting Barbie girl at the highest volume, so when I saw Will and Mark making out in the girls’ bathroom I all ready had a grouchy attitude and a headache. However the highlight of my day was watching Riley karate chop her door down and tears flowing down her face, but for you to fully understand we must go back to the being of the day were it all began.

Riley’s Point of View (POV)

For some reason I was up extremely early and decided to go for a run. All night I had this eerie feeling of foreboding., and I didn’t know were it was coming from or why I had it. All I knew was that something big was about to happen and it wasn’t going to be good.
When I was in front of the dorms I stretched then started my jog. Even since I was little running had been my way of releasing tension and relaxing. I loved the way that the wind flew through my hair, my feet hitting the ground, and the way the world passes by you seeming as if you can never be caught. Over all I loved the freedom it brought by releasing me from earthly chains.

However, since Alex died I had been running a lot more, not because he was dead, but because of the aftermath it brought. In a way Alex was the glue that kept us all together. He was the one who solved the conflicts, soothed over the anger, and helped everyone except our flaws. When he left we all fell apart, Max and Elliot are prime examples. They were once the greatest of friends. I missed the homey feeling I got when we were all together, but I doubted I would ever get it back. To much pain and emotions are mixed in between everyone.

As I ran I thought I saw a flicker of green eyes so I stopped thinking it was Conner or Damion; however, when I went towards it no one was there. It was weird because Conner didn’t like anything to do with athletics and Damion hated to get up early. I shook it off and headed back to the dorms were everyone was starting to get up. When running up the stairs to my room so I could take a shower I found Adam and Max talking on the stairs.

“Hey what’s up with the two of you?”

“Elliot kicked us out of the room. She said something about a headache and murder.” Max said shrugging his shoulders.

“Did you turn Barbie girl up to full volume again?”

“Maybe.” He said sheepishly.

“It’s your funeral.”

“Max and I are probably going to hang out here till she cools down, but later some of us are going school shopping tomorrow, do you want to come?”

“Sure, but right now I am going to take a shower because I am all sticky from my run.” I waved bye to them and headed to my room. An evil aura was emanating from Elliot's room, she was in one of her moods. Proven by the song Bitch by Meredith Brooks come from the room.

Neither of my room mates were there so I hopped in the shower. The hot water felt great on my stiff limbs. It had been awhile since I had stretched my muscles which caused them to tighten up. By the time I was done in the shower and dressed both Cain and Lain were back, but they looked like they were arguing about something and stopped when I came out of the bathroom.

“What do I have something on my face.”

“No, sorry we were having a disagreement.” Lain said.

“Tell her or I will. I don’t like keeping things from people,
especially if we are going to have to share a room with that person for the next eight months.”

“But Adam and Conner said not to say anything to her.”

“Say what to me?” I was deeply confused. I looked back and forth
between them.

“Fine, if no one will tell her I will. We were told that you and Pierce have a history.” I felt as if ice water had been thrown on me. I slowly nodded my head. “He is here at the school, sharing a room with his brothers.” I stood there for several minutes before I moved, buy leaving the room and going down the stair to see if Max and Adam were still there, which they were. I walked very quietly so they didn’t here me coming down, meaning I was able to hear what they were talking about.

“I still think someone should tell them that they are in the same vicinity. This can hurt both of them.”

“I know Max, but when I sat down and thought about it Conner was right. If we tell Pierce he will storm out of the school. I talked to him Max, and he is filled with rage, a lot of rage.”

“And if we tell Riles she will either run or I don’t know, when it comes to those two you never can guess how they will react.”

“That is why Conner and I agreed that they should find out on their own. Emotions run high with them, and no one knows what was said between them. I know El has an idea because Riley talked to her a little, but it was sketchy information, and Pierce has never talked about it to anyone.”

“Adam I never want to see her like that again.” They were silent for a while, but I was starting to get angry so I hit the wall, which startled them. “Riley.” I ran pasted them and ran out of the dorms and just kept running in the same path I did this morning, that was until I hit something solid. Who ever it was grabbed my arms and kept me from falling, even though I was shaking and I didn’t even notice the tears falling down my face.

“Hey are you okay, your shaking?” I jerked my head up and looked into brilliant green eyes, eyes that the last time I saw was filled with anger.

“Pierce.” I whispered, then I blacked out. When I woke up I was sprawled on a deep green love chair and the lights were turned off, and I had a bad headache. I slowly sat up, and tried to fight the dizziness that I felt. “Were the hell am I?” Talking just made my head hurt. “I either have one damn hangover or Elliot poisoned my food.”

“My guess is the latter. Here you seem like you could use a glass of water.” I took the glass in front of me and look at the person who was handing it to me, Pierce. With shaky hands I took a swallow of the cool liquid, my heart was beating fast and hard.

“Thanks.”

“No prob.” We state there a cross from each other in silence, not knowing what to say. I thought about what I had said at Alex’s grave. “The worst of all is that your stupid best friend shut himself off from everyone. We got into a fight after you died and it was really bad. I don’t think I had ever seen him that angry before, but that is all he is now, angry. I haven’t talk to him in a year and seven months. It hurts, because out of everyone we cared about I need him the most to lean on. The fight was stupid anyway”

“One year and seven months is a long time not to talk to someone you care for.” He stiffened at my words, “But then again I made to effort to change that.” I sat the glass down and got up, but I wobbled a bit. Pierce managed to grab my arms and steady me. “Thanks, but I should go.” He tightened his grip on me.

“So your going to walk out one me.” I knew he was trying to bait me, and I was to tired of arguing and fighting with people.

“No, I am going to clear my head before we say anything to each other.”

“Your scared of me.” I looked at him hard, and saw the anger that was there; however, I also saw that a lot of it had burned out.

“Yes I am, but not because I think you will hurt me on purpose.”

“You think I would do it on accident?” He said in a harsh voice.

“It was a thought, but then I again I could do the same to you, I have. I want to leave because I am tired of the fighting and arguing. Everyone has fallen apart, did you know that? It takes all I have on a normal bases to keep the people I care about from ripping each others hearts out. I don’t have much left. And I would be lying not to say that my instinct are telling my to run like hell.”

“If you run I will chase you, if you hide I will find you, and we are going to talk.” He let go of me and sat back down on his bed. “You didn’t know I was here did you?”

“Not until ten minute before I ran into you. You knew.” It was statement not a question.

“Unlike Conner, Damion thought I should know that the person, besides my self, that I managed to damage the most was going to be around for the next eight months.”

“That’s not fair.” I pouted.

“What isn’t fair?”

“That you knew, I had to find out from Cain and have it proven to me by over hearing Adam’s and Max’s conversation.”

“That’s why you were crying.” I nodded my head.

“I should go, but your right we are going to have to talk.”

“You seem as if you would like to avoid it.”

“I do, the very idea scares the living day lights out of me.” He was angry again.

“Fine then leave.” He opened the door for me as Conner was reaching the door handle to open it on the other side. He looked between the two and saw that my eyes were clear, meaning I had been crying.

“Pierce what did you do? Do you want to cause her even more pain?” Conner was shaking with fury. Even the two of them were at odds ends with each other.

“This time I am walking away.” I said before Pierce said anything harsh. “I can’t do this, not right now. If you want to inflate your egos the two of you can go mud wrestling.”

“Mud wrestling?” Pierce said with humor, that started to bubble, then turned into an all out laugh. “I miss your odd sense of humor. Okay, I will let you go for now, but know this before the end of tomorrow we will talk.” I gulped and walked away, once I was around a corner and knew he couldn’t see me I ran all the way to my room. When I got there I slammed the door and sat indian style on the floor. Cain and Lain were no where in sight, so for now I had the place to my self. I sat there in silence for an hour when I finally got angry. He walked out on me. He hurt me and made me cry for days. What right did he think he had to give me a dead line. I was so angry I got up and karate chopped my door, which caused it to break and almost kill Elliot on her way to my room.

“What the hell happened to you?” She asked.

“That damn man is not going to get the best of me this time around. He will bow down at my feet by the end of tomorrow. Muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa.”

“Okay I think I will just let you tell me in the morning, when your not laughing like a psychopath.”

Elliot’s Point of View (POV)

I had planned on sleeping in today, but life had other plans for me, which involved Max putting Barbie girl on the stereo at top volume. I wanted to kill the blue haired freak. When my covers were torn away from my body it was the last straw. My head was killing me, I wasn’t even out of bed yet, and I had a red haze like a bull.

“If the two of you don’t get the hell out of this room right now or I swear on my grandmother’s grave that I will murder you by giving you to horny monkeys and let them have their way with you.”

“But sweet checks this is our room to.”

“Max I have a horrid headache and no caffeine I will hurt you.” What ever look was on my face scared them enough to leave. I tried going back to sleep, but I was all ready awake and Max didn’t turn the stereo off. I got out of bed, put on my Meredith Brooks CD, then got in the shower. My head was killing me and I knew that we were out of aspirin because I took the last one last night. Ugh, I was going to have to find the nurses office. I turned off the water and wrapped a towel around me. When I was dressed I went on my search for the nurse; however, I managed to get my self lost. I was about to panic when I felt a hand on my shoulder, causing me to jump. When I turned around I saw that I was just Luke.

“Sorry Eliot, bit you looked a bit lost.”

“You are forgiven if you can tell me were I can find some aspirin”

“I think I have some in my room. Usually Mark keeps a bottle just in case.”

“My god you are a life saver. I have this horrid headache that I can’t get rid of.”

“The fallow me sweet checks.”

“I’m so going to kill Max.” Luke laughed at me all the way to his
room, C-248. However when he opened the door his two roommates, Will and Mark, were in a lip lock. I sighed, walked into the room with all eyes on me, and went to their medicine cabinet. I grabbed their aspirin, waited fifteen minutes for it to kick in then walked back into the main room. “Okay, now that I have managed to get ride of some of the splitting pain in my head talk.” Six hours later I walked out of their room with a bottle of aspirin and another headache. I so needed to talk to Riles. Luckily I had permission to tell her what I just found out. Before I talked to her I headed back to my room to put up the handy bottle of pain reliever. It was weird though when I walked into my room because both Max and Adam were there, but neither of them were making a sound. They didn’t even notice me coming in and out of the room. Now I really needed to talk to Riles, maybe she knew what was up with them She usually did, that girl knows more about the male psyche than anyone else. However as I was going to her room she karate chopped her door, which caused it to break and almost kill me on my way to her room.

“What the hell happened to you?” I asked.

“That damn man is not going to get the best of me this time around. He will bow down at my feet at the end of tomorrow. Muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa, muhaaaaaaa.”

“Okay I think I will just let you tell me in the morning, when your not laughing like a psychopath.” I turned right around and headed back to my room with her laughter following me. Something was just wrong with people today.
