7. [The Slave Queen]- I probably have no right telling this story but this kid's like my little sister and she deserves having the truth told. It's my story too. I used to be friends with this girl who was three years younger than me when I was fourteen, so we called each other sisters rather than friends, her mom and mine used to get drunk together. My mom has a Porsche Carrera and she would drive drunk a lot, she used to try to get us to get in the car with her but I stood up for my little sister.
I would be blunt with them and tell them flat up why I wasn't letting my little sister in the car, one time it ended up we were in the car with them drunk, we had gone out to a restaurant so it was inescapable if we wanted to go home. I would cry myself to sleep at night to hear the lies that her mother told her about me and mine. One night our mothers got drunk together, her mom, adopted mom by the way, started rubbing my back in an almost sexual manner. I moved away but ever since I've hated people touching my back.
I locked us in a room for the night after her mom had left, her mom came back up and starting screaming abuse at me. Crap about me. My little sister tried to stand up for me only to get abused. She wanted to give in, but I wouldn't let her, I told her everything would be alright.
Her mom left but came back awhile later, I finally called her father who came to pick her up around midnight. An hour or so later, I called my own father and he picked me up. She would tell me how her mother would get drunk and tell her father that he sexually abused her, which I'm not sure isn't true, and then her mother would touch her inappropriately.In case your math is off, my little sister was 11.
Then her family adopted another little girl, she was a baby. She couldnt walk until she was five or so and I'm not sure to this day if she actually talks, she'd be about six now. I know the same thing happens to that little baby as happened to her older sister, but that was all before my parents got divorced "Cuz my mom was a drunk." Afterwards, my dad honestly left me home all the time alone, he would go out to see his friends and only come back to drive me to school in the morning and pick me up.
I think that went on for several months, until he met my step-mom, she wormed her way into our hearts so he married her with my approval. She threatens me with things like "If you don't do ___ your father and I will do ___" It's always stuff, like; get good grades or something but I hate it. My dad pretty much doesn't see me a lot so I spend a lot of time with her.
Then yesterday (9-24-06, my 17th birthday) my mom told me that she was going to stay with her physically and mentally abusive boyfriend rather than see me, so I'm basically stuck in limbo until college. Great, worse for my little sister though, Much worse. And those are only some of the horrors for both of us.
