Brief Outline:

Are you a coffee drinker? Do you enjoy a good cup of hot joe in the morning? What about a latte or a mocha? Ever lose your eyebrows after a sip of ristretto?

You’re not alone!

Millions of people worldwide waken each morning to some form of coffee drink, whether it be an au lait, an Americano, a cappuccino, or what have you. Coffee is the perfect eye-opener, nerve stimulant, and thought producer due to the natural occurrence of caffeine. Unfortunately, caffeine is a drug and can be highly addictive. However, this knowledge does not deter people from consuming large quantities of coffee.

In this classroom you will the basics of coffee, including the difference between coffee beans, what kind of bean is used, the life-span of an espresso shot and how to prepare drinks. You will learn about espresso preparation, its life-span and different drinks you can make from it. You also learn some very important medical information about coffee consumption.

**It is a myth that espresso contains a higher amount of caffeine than a regular cup of coffee. In fact, it is the other way around. But, we will explore this a little later on.
