THE CONSTRUCTIONEERS
Lord, what fools these mortals be!
- William Shakespear, A Midsummer Night's Dream
These are the people I owe eternal gratitude towards, for they have helped caused my dream to grow more than I could manage on my own. May we never forget them.
1. [
Gry], who has already sacrificed countless night-time hours tirelessly writing down our joint work. My partner in crime and fellow dreamer.
2. [
peach-plum-pear], who is a fellow scholar. I'm happy to have her assistance, even though she's having some problems with her computer (which recently died). She has already come up with a couple of good ideas for new pages, and done some research for us. Good luck with your data retrieval Naurie!
3. Marianne, my sister. A fabulous artist, who has been kind enough to donate lots of extremely cool images. She's working on more, and they'll come soon. In the meantime, muchos kudos to her.
4. [
LunaFuria], who has donated two drawings and endless amounts of time and patience with us, not to mention all the moral support. We're not sure what we'd have done without her.
5. [
Tyrana], who has constructed a banner for us and who is working on something special for us. Master of the hellspawned and disobedient photoshop. Let us all admire that she manages to work in spite of all the computer problems.
6. [
w3nch] Has made our fancy new banner! Both black and white AND in colour! Yay!
7. [
Sgiathatchh], another fan of the Fey who has agreed to help out. He's helped with several characters, done research and made a banner too.
8. [
Levoton], who made the wonderful picture over at the
Court Members page. Despite rampant computer problems, I might add. We're all proud of her.
For those of you who are members, or merely want to support us, we have three new banners, putting our count at five! So now you have this fancy thing called choice! Here they are, ready for inclusion in your oh so stylish house:

I'd like to give a huge thanks to Elftown Graphics, since some of the artwork and all the dividers and buttons on this site is from them. Since our own source of art is limited we will continue to use this wonderful and fantastic source.
And, lastly, a little afterword. I know that describing fairies in this amount of detail could easily destroy the magic and mystery that makes them interesting. It is a risk inherent in the project, and we strive to keep the magic alive. If we fail, we fail. In that case, all we have to do is return to the roots. I think Walt hitman said it best:
When I heard the learned astronomer,
When the proofs, the figures, were ranged in columns before me,
When I was shown the charts and diagrams, to add, divide, and measure them,
When I sitting heard the astronomer where he lectured with much applause in the lecture-room,
How soon unaccountable I became tired and sick,
Till rising and gliding out I wandered off by myself,
In the mystical moist night-air, and from time to time,
Looked up in perfect silence at the stars.
