Abilities:
Personality: Daeriva is a woman of great beauty, a fact she is fully aware of and uses for everything it's worth. Her beauty is only matched by her vanity, and she always wears a wig to cover her steely gray hair. She has always been fantastically self-absorbed, which in conjunction with her political ambitions explains a bit about why she wasn't all that good as a mother. But even though she isn't very loving, she makes sure that the familial ties are strong, for political reasons. Guilt works wonders in this regard, and she has become a master of guilt-tripping her own child, in addition to other family members. For this alone she is dreaded, except by her husband, who doesn't seem to notice her all that much anymore.

That is something of a problem, for Cerrawen has become increasingly absorbed by their daughter Rinneva, and has all but forgotten Daeriva. She is beginning to feel secondary, and will not stand for it. At the moment she's trying to find out how she can get him to devote more attention to her once more, and until she decides on the best course of action Rinneva continues to have her father all to herself. To Daerivas growing annoyance.
Ambitions: Get rid of Illuein. Either become Matriarch herself or make sure her daughter does. Get Cerrawen to marry her and make him interested in politics again.
Fears: That Illuein will strip her of the power she has as a steward.
Likes: Compliments, being admired, beautiful dresses.
Dislikes: Illuein (and to a certain degree Rinneva), being ignored, people more beautiful than her, silver.
Habits: Wears wigs, always keeps a handmirror close, fishes for compliments.
