Daniel Radcliffe was born on July 23, 1989 in London, England, UK. He is an only child. He enjoys playing pranks on friends, and is quoted as being a fan of the Fullham Football club.

Daniel attends an all boy school and enjoys punk rock music such as the Sex Pistols, New York Dolls, and the Stranglers. Recently he has acquired a new taste for rock bands such as "The Undertones", Dandy Warhols", "Rage Against the Machine", and "Jane's Addiction."

When Daniel is asked about his future plans, he states that he might continue to act, however he has also stated that he might like to write or become a Director. Daniel also has a massive collection of music CDs, and loves films which contributes to his growing collection of DVDs as well.

Daniel has wanted to be an actor since the age of five. He has proven himself to be a brilliant, completely natural screen actor. He had to convince his parents to allow him to go into acting. Daniel Radcliffe also won his first Hollywood award in 2001. Radcliffe won the Male Youth Discovery of the Year Award from the Hollywood Women's Press Club. But he wasn't able to pick up his award in person as he was filming Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets. Most recently, Daniel also won the 2003 Silver OTTO Fan Award, awarded by Bravo's most prestigious Teen Magazine in Germany in the "Best Male Role" Category.
