History: Delshandra grew up mostly on her own. Her parents died when she was 4. Her brother Joshua Dlardrageth, took her in, but he was always away doing “ranger missions”. However, a month before her 7th birthday, Joshua never returned home, and a message was delivered by another ranger that he had died. Devastated, Delshandra left home and entered the forest on her own. A month on her own, she was shown she had great potential in being a ranger just like her brother. She made friends with the animals quickly, and found she could easily read nature. It wasn’t until three months after her 7th birthday that she finally set out to find a teacher, but she also discovered she could talk to animals, however, only if they wanted to talk to her. She was three years into her five year training when she found Mielikki. She was out perfecting her tracking skills when she came upon a black heap under a Cyprus tree. Her senses told her it was living, but close to death. She scoped up the heap, not knowing what it really was and took it back to her teacher. Back home, she discovered it was a dragon, but not a normally one, it was a miniature dragon. Her teacher showed her how to nurse her back to health and she became her “true companion”. Being a miniature dragon, Mielikki, doesn’t have any special abilities, but her teeth and claws are very sharp and great weapons. On her last year of training, Delshandra finally acquired the final skill needed to be a ranger. Every ranger believes the forest is alive, and it carries a life force all around, however it doesn’t stop there, all plants are live may they be in a forest or not. With that, she learned how to draw on that force to help the accuracy of her shots on enemies, but only five times a day. For five years she has been out on her own, protecting the forest and all its inhabitants.
