Necious laughed alittle & he floated there, it was something he had always been able to do. He grabbed at the demons head & put each hand on the top, then lower jaw trying with all his strength as well as adrenaline to tear it's head apart.

The demon squealed louder and used it's lash tail to whip at Necious again. It was in obvious pain now, and bleeding from several places.

Deltira aimed the crossbow once more at Ejjanoh, this time without any bolt in it. She glared down the shaft at her enemy.

Ejjanoh lifted an eyebrow at her and shrugged. He started to write another rune in the air, but now he was facing Deltira instead of Necious.

Necious growled deeper than before & then screamed as she tore the demons head apart, then glanced uo at Ejjanoh. He growled again then ran at Ejjanoh with full force, his eyes almost a black color now & he was extreamly angery.

Ejjanoh was startled, but he completed the rune just before Necious could crash into him. It was a "shackles of air" spell. Basically it solidified the air around it's target making them unable to move. Ejjanoh's rune covered black robes caught fire under Necious's attack.

Deltira gasped and fell over side-ways as the spell caught her off guard. Her crossbow slipped from her fingers and shot the tree above the two fallen men. A red lazer beam blazed out of it, tearing the entire tree in half, as well as the even thicker one behind it, and digging into the one behind that.

Necious Growled yet again, he ignored the fire & ws gonig straight after Ejjanoh. He never let up, he was fighting for something he didn't wnat to let go of & when that happened he didn't stop untill ie was over.

Ejjanoh muttered a word, and another rune appeared over the two wrestling bodies. Ejjanoh vanished without a sound, leaving only his robes in Necious's hands. Then there were 10 of him standing at various spots around the general space in front of Deltira's house. Each one was gasping and pale.

Necious glanced around & just laughed as the sight, he was not impressed. He just shook his head & looked at each of them, then laughed at Ejjanoh's sad little atempt.

Ejjanoh glared and one by one the images straightened, then one of them stepped forward and smirked. This expression was copied by the other images of himself as they looked at each other as if sharing a secret. "Don't look so certain fool, these aren't merely illusions, each one is as viable as the real person." His speech was carried on by a different Ejjanoh, and each can act on his own." Then each Ejjanoh stood back and started drawing runes and diagrams in the air. "Try to stop all of us." The last one said, before joining the rune making of the others.

Necious laughed then shook his head, he was not phased save for a few cutrs & scratches here or there on his body. He has always wondered why rune makers never really had a great anount of an effect on him, but he did not care it was an advantage & it just made him smile to watch the stupid atempts. A few aponants that ever where able to get him badly would have to have been a mage, a wizard or a pally as well as a warlock his 4 main matches when it came to fighting & yet no one else really had an effect on him save for those four.

Just then around Necious a large crator formed itself as if hit by a meteor, Deltira's house shook and there were cracking noises from all over it. The sides of the crator rose up 50 feet in the air straight up and jagged sided. From the sides of the crator-pit created to isolate Necious from everything around him, shadowy red ghostlike creatures came out howling and reaching with long clawed fingers. Lightning once more started to race up and down after Necious, leaving burnt holes behind it. Thorned vines also sprouted from the ground, reaching to attempt to trip up Necious. From outside the pit, there was the sound of mad laughter, and Deltira screamed something incoherant.

Necious grew furious at this, he spread his arms out to the sides & his eyes became purely black, his hair gained black streaks in it. He lowered his head as flames appeared around his body, they where black reaching out to a blue then white color & he eyes where peircing now much diffirent from before. Ejjanoh had just made Necious force his other side out & most of the time that was never a good thing, he was extreamly angery at Ejjanoh. Necious tatto of wings on his back became real, they began to come out of his back & spread into pure black feathered wings. It was rare that this happened, only when he truly needed them did they show up & now was one of those times. He flew up into the air & hovered their after he broke out of Ejjanoh's little trap, he then glided down towars the ground & stood there for amoment looking around for Ejjanoh.

Two of the Ejjanoh's were trying to detach Deltira from a third's arm. She'd managed somehow, despite being unable to move anything except her head, to sink her fangs into his arm. Blood was running down his robes, and her chin. Several of her machines had also made an appearance and were flailing with various household implements at all the other Ejjanoh's, who were smashing them to bits.

Necious stepped towards them, the flamed around him would only hurt who he wanted them to hurt & he was aiming for Ejjanoh. He grabed the Ejjanoh's that held onto Deltira & pried them them from her, then lifted her into his arms. He pushed off the ground, then landed in one of the trees & sat her down safely on a branch. He began to chant a spell to counter the one on her & free her from her intrapment, when he finished he told ehr to stay there as he jumped down then headed back towards Ejjanoh.

Deltira called out to Necious, "Wait! Don't go back there!" She didn't want him to get hurt either. She growled to herself and started climbing down the tree again.

The Ejjanoh's picked themselves up and set themselves up for an ambush for the appearance of Necious once more. As soon as he showed up a red hot ball aimed straight for him, intended to knock him back in the pit.

Necious glanced up at the red hot ball & jumped out of the way just in time, he looked bakc towards Dletira then said to her mentaly," I will be fine now stay back there & out of the way ok, i swear to you that i will be fine just trust me this one time." He then looked back up & began to chant, he was aiming to send a shard storm on Ejanoh. It would be aimed for there they where & no where else to be sure that he did not hit Delrita, it was one reason he wanted her to stay back where he had put her.

Deltira had just reached the ground, but didn't go any further. Still, she was rather angry at being treated like a "damsel in distress" and let Necious know this with several nasty blistering oaths aimed in his direction. She'd learned to swear from her imp grandfather and there were very few species that could top imps for swearing. The smaller plants and the bark of the trees in her near vicinity blackened and wilted noticeably.

A few of the Ejjanoh's managed to erect barriers for themselves over their heads, protecting them from the shard storm. Three however didn't quite manage it and blinked out of existence with screams of fury. That left 7 Ejjanoh's to deal with.

Necious sighed then said lightly to Deltira's mind," I know you are not weak, i do not see you as a 'damsel in distress' yet i simply do not wnat to end up hitting you myself on accident & i only wnat to keep that from happening." He then began to shant again, he aimed this time to eliminate a few moe of them & destroy a few with spikes comming up from the ground.

Deltira was slightly mollified, but she still wasn't going to sit around and do nothing. So she started tinkering with the various mechanical bits she kept on her person, putting a machine together that at first looked rather ragged.

This time only one Ejjanoh was lost to Necious' barrage. He tripped on the skirt of his robe and landed on one of the spikes, as the other's rose into the air and encased themselve's in barrier bubbles. Now they raised their hands in unison, and struck out. All aimed beams of red light from their fingers, each from a different direction which would make it 6 times as difficult for Necious to dodge.

Necious did not dodge, but this time used the flames around him & even his wings to cover himself. He used them as a barrier & let the beams hit them both, though it stund his wings would heal. They alwas healed themselves instantly when put away, it was an upsede to his wings unlike most who had them it was diffirent & yet he himself was diffirent not like any other. He smiles even more & then then began to chanted he sent something from all directions on the Ejjnaoh's, he had hope that the barriers would break under presure then kill atleast a few more.

The 6 Ejjanoh's clustered together, their combined sheilds becomeing stronger together than they were seperately. The only problem with this being that they couldn't attack through the newly strengthened sheilds. They glared as one at Necious through the milky substance.

Deltira finished her little project and a tiny doglike robot came hopping cheerfully into the mass destruction. It turned it's head to the Ejjanoh's and barked.

Necious looked at the metal dog & shook his head with a smile, he cotinued his onslot of attacks though & his hopes where that Ejjanoh's would weaken. Once they had he would stop the attacks & then send another attack in, he wanted to take them down slowly so he could have the main Ejjanoh for himself.

The little dog jumped up at Ejjonoh's barrier and dug it's mettalic teeth into it, then started to run away with the unwinding peice of it as if it was some kind of filmy chew toy instead of a magical barrier. Deltira could be heard whistling to it in the distance. The Ejjanoh's did not notice the hole half underneath them at first, ignoring the dog as Necious was their main attacker.

Necious saw his opertunity & took it as he chanted, he sent a streak of lightning up into the barrier. He wasn't aiming to kill any, he simply wanted to thow them off & make the barrier drop. He waited to see if it ahd worked, his eyes still dark & the flames still around him nothing had changed back to normal about him yet.

The bubble like barrier burst and the Ejjanoh's were all tossed outward from the center spot. Two of them were quickest back on their feet with their barriers up again, and wrote a few new runes in the air. Ice daggers plummeted down aimed silently at Necious's back.

Necious wings blocked the ice daggers & he chanted sending out some more spiked from all directions to eliminate a few more of the Ejjanoh's, he was unsure if they would hit or not. Yet had hope thaty they would, he just waited to see if they would & stood quietly waiting so see what happened.

The two gaurded by the newer barrier were safe, and one of the four on the ground managed to deflect the spikes aimed at him, back at Necious. The other three were spiked and followed their other's into non-existence.

Necious waved them off & stepped closer then began another attack, he chanted his words. As he did a black hole began to slowly appear beneath 2 of the extra Ejjanoh's & he simply laughed at this, then waited to see if it would work.

One of the Ejjanoh's managed to jump free and stumbled into the other Ejjanoh, both going down into a heap, but their barrier held. The other started to fall, but managed to clutch onto the edge of the widening hole with the fingers of one hand.

Necious sent a heavy quick shard stome down on the Ejjanoh hanging onto the side of the hole, he grined at the struggle oh his hand on the side & laughed as he watched waiting for him to jsut slip off then close the hole.

The other two Ejjanoh's attacked Necious, again from behind with silent ice shards, while the third Ejjanoh continued to clutch precipitously to the edge of the hole.

Once again Necious used his wings & his flames to block the attacks, he could feel the air behind him change. It was how he knew they where comming, he was good with detecting temperature at times & yet only 2 of the shards managed to get past both the glames as well as his wings. He send down an even heavier shard storm on the same Ejjanoh & made the shards bigger, he wanted to destroy the last 2 Ejjanoh so that he could be alone with the last one. He wanted to toy around with that one & mess with his mind before taking him out, he wanted to be sure that he knew by the end who he had ticked off.

The Ejjanoh clinging to the hole fell, and dissappeared into the darkness of the hole. The other two were barely blocking the the shards, but still managing to do so. Their eyes were dark with hatered.

Necious shook his head in laughter, then said lightly to himself," Should i or should i not keep one of them here to fight, should i just take them both out & get back to her as soon as i can." He was determining waht he should do, he wanted to have a good fight & yet was it worth fighting a weakling?

Quickly one of the Ejjanoh's took over the blocking of the shards and the other started to write runes in the preparation for another attack. However sweat was running down his forehead and back and it was obvious that both were tiring.

Necious sighed & shook his head it was obvious they where getting tired, that ment they would be no fun any more after this. He brought on the attacks again & even more heavy that before, he was barly even braking a sweat now. It took more physical action to make him sweat, ot magic usage just physical work out & this was as easy as could be to him.

The barrier bent but didn't break... yet. Still with the last rune drawn out the other Ejjanoh screamed and slumped to the ground and popped out of existance. Creatures made of rock and clay began pulling themselves out of the ground and marching slowly toward Necious. Each one threw boulders twice the size of a man's head at him as it went.

Necious waved a hand & send rain down no the creatures, then put more effort into forcing the last Ejjanoh out. He put what was creatures in a glass incasement, he just laughed then glanced back at the Ejjanoh left.

The barrier broke in the middle and the last Ejjanoh flew backward until he hit a tree. He scrambled to his feet turned on his heel and ran into the forest behind him. Meanwhile the rock golems turned into mud golems and started launching mud splatters at Necious instead of rocks.

Necious chanted a few words & then the glass around them began to heat yup, he laughed at their silly attempts watching as they began to harden past their own movment. He waited for them to fully heat up then expload hopefully, atleast that waht he wanted to happen & yet it was uncertin that it would happen.

The golems stood still for a moment and absorbed the glass into their systems, their own mud covering over and attempting to combine and mix with the glass to cool it.

Necious sighed lightly, then chanted a few words & another black hole appeared beneath them, he waited to see them disapepar this time. He wanted to get back to Deltira, he wanted to see that she was ok & to know that he had done well. Yet he could only hope that she was still ok, it was something he would have to find out on his own & if she wasn't he was not going to be happy at all.

The golems all vanished without a sound into the hole, unable to move fast enough to get away.

Necious streched a little & then tried to connect mentaly with Deltira, he waited for her to respond in hopes that she would say soemthing back. He glanced around himself & sighed in happyness for the moment, but he would not be compleetly happy untill he knew she was ok. 

While Necious had been fighting the fake Ejjanoh's Deltira had been fighting against the real one, and losing. At that moment she was tied and gagged, and being carried off on horseback. She was unable to answer Necious's call because Ejjanoh used just a touch of magic to close her mind off from him. Still the little magic immune dog that Deltira had created, was keeping the horse from moving too swiftly.

Necious growled heavily & darted off through the woods, he was out for blood now. He wanted Ejjanoh's blood & his life held by a string ibefore him, he wanted to cut that strong then tear him to shreads. He was furious now, he knew that had Deltira been able to answer she would have instantly & yet she did not the thought of ehr being harmed steamed him so bad.

Ejjanoh tried to manuevre around the robotic dog, and only succeeded in getting his horse to bolt and losing control of it. He swore, and before the horse could get to fast used a rune to cut it down on the spot. He threw himself and Deltira to the ground, where they rolled down the roadside into a water filled ditch. Deltira's face was red with anger and frustration of her own.

Necious's ears barly picked up on the sound in the distance, he picked up speed & then skidded to a hault near the little dog. He looked to the horse & then down towards Ejjanoh, he looked at Deltira unsure if she was majorly hurt or not. He ran down towards them & pried her from Ejjanoh's arms, then backed away ungagging her then let her hands free.

As soon as her mouth was free Deltira slumped and let of a stream of invectives this time directed at Ejjanoh and his ancestors. The air seemed to smoke, with the heat of her anger. The dog yapped and scrambled down the hill to start attacking the rune mage picking himself somehow unmarked out of the ditchwater.

Necious sat Deltira to the side & looked her over seeing cuts here or there, then said lightly," Are you ok Del?" He said with concern, then placed a soft hand on ehr cheek & looked into he eyes for a moment before looknig back at Ejjanoh.

Deltira wanted to yell, but she knew she shouldn't take out her anger and frustration on Necious. She gritted her teeth and instead answered, "Can we just get rid of this creep?" 

Ejjanoh's eyes flicked between the two for a moment and then he called a staff out of the air and leaned apparently casually on it. He was now wearing a leer and peering at Deltira. "Creep? I'm offended my dearest. That wasn't what you said the last time we were together." He made it obvious that he was hinting at a former love affair between the two of them.

Necious kissed her forhead lightly, then stood glaring at Ejjanoh & said simply to him," Look what ever happened in the past between the both of you is just that, it's in the past it's no more & she does not like you nor does she want you near ehr any more. She ahd stated it many times & in many was so now i'm going to help her take you out, you are not to touch he any more do you understand." He said with almost a roar of toan towards Ejjanoh not jelous at all, but instead extreamly ticked that he would not let her go & this time he was going to let ehr throw anything she wanted at Ejjanoh. He would however stop anything from hitting her, he reached back placing his hand on her shoulder & let part of his flames suround ehr to protect her. The where cool to the touch around those he wished them to be cool to & hotter than anything ever known to those he wanted them to burn, they did not hurt Deltira at all.

Deltira blinked as the flames covered her over and looked at Necious questioningly. "How? Nevermind, you can explain later." She shrugged, but then smiled slightly and let herself move closer to him. She glared at Ejjanoh. "He never was anything more to me than a possible teacher anyway." She wanted made clear, how could I ever be stupid enough to get close like that to that RAT!!!" At this she pulled something out of her mechanized gauntlet and tossed it at Ejjanoh.

The last fake Ejjanoh leapt out of the forest and tackled to first catching the small object in the air. The real Ejjanoh was not as quick as his fakes. The fake Ejjanoh suddenly turned into... a rat, and a rather ugly black one at that.

Necious laughed lightly & then opened a small black hole beneath the fake Ejjanoh , then watched as he disappeared down into it. He smiled even more then said to Ejjanoh," Oh this will be very fun indead, just throwing things at you & watching your slowness try to get away." His hand was still slightly on Deltira's shoulder & he moved it to the back of her head rubbing her hair for a moment before he pulled his hand away, then gripped his fist tightly.

Deltira winced slightly as Necious encountered a rather painful lump, but didn't make a sound. She dug her hand into her shoulder armor peice and pulled out... a runny peanut butter and jelly sandwich. She looked at it in confusion, stuffed it into her mouth and reached in again. This time she pulled out... a small gun shaped machine which she now pointed at Ejjanoh.

Ejjanoh glared at the two and started writing runes in the air and he muttered something under his breath at the same time.

Necious looked at Ejjanoh & then moved Deltira back a little, then just tilted his head to the side. He stepped forward & then waited, he wanted to see what he was up to.

Ejjanoh finished with a glare and shook his fist at Necious. "I'm going for now, but be sure that I will come back! When I do, not even you will stand between me and my prize!"

Necious growled & started to jump for Ejjanoh, but he only fell to the ground. He stood quickly & glanced back at Deltira, then went straight to ehr wide.

Ejjanoh had vanished, as the runes he had written had taken effect. All that was left of him was the lingering echoes of his malicious laughter.

Deltira bristled as she stared at the spot where Ejjanoh was, she was too angry now even to curse. What was she supposed to do now?

Necious kelt down beside her & pulled her into his arms, then said in a gentil tone," He will enver get to you, for as long as i live he will not touch you ever again & once he is gone you will never have to worry about him bothing you ever again." His words where calm & his form started to go back to normal, the flames disappeared from them both his wings sank bakc into him yet his hair stayed the same it would for a few days. His muscles where tense still & he jsut sinply sat there holding her, then finaly after a while he stood pulling her with him.

Deltira sighed, "I can usually handle myself, I feel like such a twit." She grimaced and looked oddly like a stone gargoyle on some castle or other, "And now I have to replace practically every mechanical object in my house, which is going to take weeks of hard work! And I can't work on anything new until it's done!"

Necious stepped back alittle from her & lifted ehr chin, then said to erh with a smile," I will help you clean up & any tools you need i will help you get, you won't have to do this alone. " He reached over kissing her forhead, then held out his hand for her to take & then waited for her so he could walk with ehr back.

Deltira blinked and smiled back faintly, before accepting his hand. Then she moved closer to him and whispered a question, just in case Ejjanoh was still listening in somehow. "How's your knee?"

Necious smiled lightly & then sadi to her," I will make due, it will be fine & for now lets get home & rest then worry about the mess after ok?" He smiled then moved his arm aroud her shoulders, then moved it down to be around her waist & yet looked at her as if asking if it was ok.

Deltira sighed and leaned closer letting her head rest against his chest, since he really was quite a bit taller that she was. "Fine with me, I want to tend to your injuries though. And mine." She made a sour face at the scratches and cuts on herself. "And this stupid outfit is going to need a whole lot more staples." She said to herself.

Necious laughed then said lightly," Give me your clothing when we get back after we have fixed ouselves up & even gotten rest, then i will sew them up for you. I need to do the same to my own as well, so i can do yours to & that way no more staples ok. " He hissed the top of ehr head & just kept walking towards the house, his arm still around her.

Deltira answered while walking carefully beside him, "That'll be a change for me. All my clothing's second and even third hand and I always mend by staples. It's quicker and more effecient to my way of thinking."

Necious just smiled & laughed agin, then wighed in relief when thye got back to the house. He stopped at the stairs & then sat down, he felt he needed to sit for a moment.

Deltira hovered over him a moment worriedly, then took off to bring back an ice pack for his knee. She wasn't certain that was what was wrong, but she didn't think it could hurt either.

Necious smiled at her & then patted his good leg, he wanted her to sit there. He held his arms out & wanted her to just sit in his lap, then to just hug her close. He said softly to her," I just need a rest & i want to hold you for a moment, sit on my lap so i can?" He then smiled even more up at her, his eyes soft & inviting his shirt still insidr the house on the chair.

Deltira thought about his request for a moment and then lowered herself gently onto his good knee, but made sure to avoid his bad knee as carefully as she could. Then she poked his nose and grinned at him. "You're one strange man, first finding me attractive of all people, and now you're so careful and polite I almost think you're a bit female." She teased him.

Necious laughed softly & then tipped her back on his leg then tickeled at her softly, then leaned down kissing her softly. He then pulled ehr back up & stood her up, then stood before her smiling lightly.

Deltira wrinkled her nose and laughed, "Nope, definitely a male." She said changing her mind.

Necious pulled her close then said lightly," I sould hope so, because it would be rather odd if i was a girl holding you now, that would be really weird & yet i'm a guy so yea i'm just me in all my weirdness." He turned his back to her, then kneeled down alittle & said softly," Come on i'll give you a piggy back ride." He said softl, then waited for her to get onto his back.

Deltira threw back her head and laughed, "What am I? A child? I don't need a ride, love." She added the last word with a glimmer in her eye.

Necious laughed & then said softly," I know your not a child, but i wanted to do it any way & just have fun doing it. " He said glancing back at her & smiling widely, his eyes light.

Deltira smiled and climbed onto his back. "Be careful of your knee."
