Abilities/powers:
Derek has the ability to transform into a long-tailed white/black house mouse. During his transformation, his hearing, eyesight, and smell do increase. Transformation takes about twenty seconds either way to change. His body length is about 3 and a half and weighs about 5 ounces. His clothes do not shrink with him, but stay behind at the point where he transformed.

General appearance:
Human appearance: Light blue eyes, short brown hair, freckles on his cheeks, and slight rosy cheeks. Usual wears a collared t-shirt with cargo shorts. Also wears a pair of all-star converse shoes. A leather bracelet on his left wrist and a analog watch on the other.

Mouse appearance: Dark red eyes, medium white/black hair, pinkish hands and feet, and light pink hairy tail.

Additional Appearance: Large hole through the top of his ear that shows in either transformation.

Personality: Very confident in his abilities; could say he is very cocky. Doesn't matter how big the odds are against him; he knows he going to endure and will fight for what is right. He is very much a people person. You could say he's the class clown in his class. When making friends, he sometimes teases them, but it truthful and loyal them until the end.

Special Skills: Been practicing fencing since seven years old. Also, he is knowledgeable on lock-picking.

Brief History: At age thirteen, he was picked on for being the small child. Being the shortest of his class, it was hard for him to fit in. After his 6th grade, during the summer; he suddenly got a growth sprout, going from 4 foot 11 to 6 foot 2. He was so full of confidence and joy. He couldn't wait to show up everybody in the 7th grade. His first day of school, he was so energetic and enthusiastic towards everyone. During his P.E. class, everything went downhill. As he was undressing for his class, he began to shrink and grow white/black fur everywhere. Ears twitch and grow abnormally large. He bent over in pain as a tail shot out of his lower back. Within seconds, Derek had fully transformed into a garden variety house mouse. Teacher searched and searched to find Derek, but couldn't find him. He heard underneath the laundry bin. Scared out of his mind, he didn't know what to do. He escaped through swinging doors and tried to home. After successfully reaching his room, he slowly transformed back to his normal size. Trying to figure out what the hell happened. After spending time at home; trying to recreate what happened that day.
After practicing using his ability at home or outside the world through four years, he wasn't so scared anymore. Learning to embrace it gain a new look on life. At times, he would abuse his powers for personal gain, but sometimes for good as well.
