It's the year 1996-1997. My fourth year that i took artclasses (2nd year with this Hugo fellow for teacher) and my last year in primairy school. I recovered 37 drawings from this periode, the most i made in a whole year so far. 












' Frontside of map '

This is the frontside of those huge maps i told you about. Every year they made us make a map to collect our work in. And offcourse the first lesson of the year is map-making-lesson. The teacher (Hugo) had an idea to put our silhouets on the front and then use different shades of the same colour. I chose yellow.









' Colour Portrait '

Oh boy yet another portrait in paint. It was the assignment to fill it up with weird colours, it's not like there was actually some kid that looked like this. Although that might have been funny d^_^b








' Saloon '

A drawing of a cowboy in front of a saloon. the saloon in inspired by the LEGO-saloon i got for my birthday.

' Duke Nukem '

Yea we all know the game. There was Duke Nukem 1, wich was 2D and had a square-guy with a silly atomicgun. Then you had Duke Nukem 2, wich was 2D aswell, but way better graphics (both runned in MS-dos). Finally you had Duke Nukem 3D, wich was totally awesome in that time. Although compared with games today, it looks like the makers of DN 3D had never heard of round forms and smooth edges, nope it was all just squares put together. Anyway, i drew the image on the box of DN 3D.

After doing the castle-at-sunset-drawing i wanted to try someting with the same colours but a different medium, i chose for colourcrayons
