Description: Dresden stands a wirey 5'6", with scarred, red-brown skin stretched tightly across cords of muscles that never seem to build mass, no matter how much time he spends in the gym. His face is chiseled with a broken, prominent nose below a fierce scowl over one brown eye and one black, blue irised implant. On his shoulders, spine, forearms and calves he has mechanoid implants designed for taking the brunt of Io's oppressive gravity and the backbreaking mining work he grew up doing. His throat is striped with three metal bars around his windpipe that filtered the sulfuric atmosphere of Io into breathable air. His six-fingered hands are thin but strong, and striped with scars and callouses.

Personality: Dresden is usually an amiable fellow who laughs easily and loves a good drink. He gets along with almost everyone, but harbors a deep-seated hatred towards the elite and higher-class citizens of society. He takes his abilities as a pilot and as a student very seriously.

Species Traits: His optic implant is an older model, but very solid, and bolsters his reflexes and vision preternaturally. The strength implants allow him to easily lift things three to four times his body weight. The implants along his windpipe allow him to breathe in any environment short of the vacuum of space.

History: Dresden was born in the hot, oppressive mines of Io to hardworking parents who died shortly after in a worker's riot. He was raised by the small community his parents had belonged to, and fought in eight of the ten riots he was old enough to remember. On the holidays he spent on Europa, he watched and met the higher class, who showed little to no knowledge of the dire conditions they faced on Io, and fewer cared enough to do anything about it. He always dreamed of becoming like the pilots who so deftly shipped them from Io to Europa, and knew his destiny was either to go to Europa Academy and become the best pilot in the galaxy, or spend the rest of his day breaking his back in the mines of Io. He saved his money and bought the optic implant when he was a gangly teenager; the next year his family brought him to tears by sending him to the Academy with their combined funds. He had been doing nothing but work all his life, and everything he knew had been taught to him during lunch breaks and the like, and so he could barely know how to read when he got to the Academy. He worked his ass off, and got his pilot's license before he got his high school diploma, which was in his mid twenties. Lately, he's been working on a college degree, double majoring in aeronautics and literature.

Hobbies/Pets: Dresden spends a lot of time in the gym and is a quick kinetic study, so he dabbles a lot in things like martial arts and gymnastics. Any time between studying and training is either spent at the bar or reading.
