2011-05-03 [Sagacious Turkey]: Not necessarily. The badge you have now doesn't have any color in it. With each of these competitions you enter, your badge will get a little more color to it, even if you don't win. Eventually, even if you submit just one picture for each contest, you'll get a fully colored badge.

At least, that's the way it was supposed to be. Now that there's a new separate badge for winners, I'm not entirely sure. You may already be owed a fully colored badge for your past entry.

But badges shouldn't be the point anyway. Why would you care about badges?

2011-05-03 [Sagacious Turkey]: If it's adding to Elftown that you enjoy, you should do so even when you aren't guaranteed badges. Like adding to this contest, even though you probably won't win, just to help out.

2011-05-03 [Nioniel]: [Aeolynn]; submitting one photo is entirely up to you. We've had participants do it before, and we were just fine with it. Turkey's right, you probably won't win the session by submitting just one image, but you could always take more than one photo and then submit a wiki of images. The deadline's still a bit off for this session, so if you have an interest in it, we'd love to see your entries. :)
