Elidarthe

The Elidarthe are the second oldest race of elves, having divided from the Lumhidarthians due to a single disagreement: war. The Elidarthe hate bloodshed, considering it brutal and vile. They believe that disagreements should be settled through words rather than war, which is what those who cannot win by intellect resolve to.

Elidarthians are a more expanded form of elves, being the closest to humans in nature. Their skin tones, hair and eye colors vary as widely as that of the humans. It is the same with skin tone, with the exception of dark and oriental types. They are the same height as other elves, and their build is usually less on the broad side, for their lack of fighting type of excercise. The greatest population of seers and prophets come from this well-educated area, along with the occasional bard and artisian.

Creatures of mystic power, one could say the Elidarthe were created from magic, live by magic, and die with magic. A large population of Elidarthe possess magical talent(atleast in comparison to the rest of the world), whether it not being powerful enough to heal the lightest wound, to being a crafter, the ones who shape the trees and plants lovingly to their will.

Elidarthians love nature more than any of the other elves. They live in tree homes shaped to accomodate them, their nation a forest. To harm an animal is to face the worst possible penalty; banishment. Despite their love towards nature, the Elidarthe are hostile towards other races, resulting in their ultimate downfall.

The Elidarthe are creatures of the sun, their royal name "Sunlight", "Singer of the Sun", bearing the staff of Sunlight. They worship the God of Nature, Anima, and the Goddess Asteria.
