Abilities/powers: Daniela's powers have not evolved terribly in the nine years prior. She's able to cast up to two shields at once currently. The shields seem completely indestructible and unmovable as long as they exist, but maintaining them drains the girl's energy rather quickly. Daniela has found that maintaining and rapidly casting shields is much faster if she mentally 'links' each shield to one of her hands. The shields are always perfect spheres made out a paper thin, reflective material. It has additionally become impossible to teleport or send a psychic message in any way through one of the shields.
The ability to create black shields remains as mysterious as ever, activating as a self-defense reflex.

General appearance: Daniela is only a bit taller than she was before, averaging 5'7''. She remains of a lithe build and rater petite. The girl has messy, jet black hair that goes a bit past her shoulders, curling up around her face, wavy and unruly. The girl still wears the tattered remains of her X-men clothes, specifically the tight X-men suit pants and her leather jacket on occasion. Her eyes are ice blue and the most noticeable change in her appearance from 9 years ago is a dark burgundy, large eye patch that covers her right eye and part of her face.
Personality: Daniela has become jaded, sarcastic and sardonic. Much of the shyness from her previous years has disappeared, though the girl is still likely to small bouts of embarrassment at times. After seeing so much death and devastation, like most mutants, she has become hardened against it. Much like before, Daniela presents two personalities, keeping her true self encased and only opening herself up to people she truly trusts, which is pretty much no one right now. Deep inside, the girl still cares about the safety and well being of others, and tries to use her power to protect them whenever possible
Special Skills: Daniela has turned out to have a brilliant mind for tactics, using it to help the MLA every now and then.

Medical information: The girl lost an eye to shrapnel during the bombardment of the X-mansion. Though the eyeball could be saved, the optic nerve was damaged beyond repair. The eye in itself moves normally but the pupil is discolored to an almost white cerulean blue. She prefers to keep her blind eye under an eye patch.
Brief History: As was her policy at the time, Daniela kept her distance from the events that lead up to the Battle of New York. While many of the students of Xavier's mansion left to participate in the Million Mutant march, the girl stayed in the safety of the mansion. Many a time, she feared men in back body armor and combat boots would come into the mansion and take her and her friends away. During the bombardment of the mansion, she tried to use her shields to defend the institute, to the point of placing one in front of a fighter jet flying too low, which destroyed most of the fuselage of the plane in a fiery explosion (the first time she killed someone).
Soon enough, the girl was out of energy and was hit in the eye by a stray piece of shrapnel. A black shield activated around her and she remained within it, safe, but unconscious, until the next day. Once the bombardments had ended, she was found among the rubble by Vlad, who quickly took her to the infirmary and, using Danger's automated infirmary skills, managed to repair her eye. She would never regain vision with her right eye, however, as the optic nerve had been too far gone. Daniela followed the X-men during their transformation and new leadership, trusting Vlad and Shana to do what was right. Finally, almost three years ago, they were sent to capture some dissidents which turned out to be mutant and human children throwing rocks at the quarantine wall. Under orders from the company, the X-men were commanded to put the 'dissidents' down, which they promptly did. Horrified by the murders, Daniela ran away that very day and settled in the South Sprawl.
The girl is considered an associate of the MLA, but not a full fledged militant member. She hates the perversion of Xavier's dream the X-men have become and spends her days helping out in the clinic and, every now and then, helping Shana craft the MLA's battle plans.
Relatives:
Her father died during the Battle of New York, she doesn't know if he was killed by a mutant or human and honestly, she doesn't care.
Her brother, Lance Morgan, has become a militant in one of the more extreme cells of the MLA. They don't talk much but he comes around every now and then.
