      Kees is a rather young centran with long, messy dark brown hair, he has honey colored eyes and measures around 5'10". His skin was, at one point, rather light, but has acquired a healthy tan due to his many trips through the wilderness. Kees face, however, bears no signal of battle or even rough treatment, the living testament of the stoic duty of his guardian. He normally wears a sort of centran combat uniform on his upper body, a memento from his long lost father, the uniform molds to the shape of his torso and is mostly black and silver, with several symbols of unknown meaning to Kees. The uniform, though comfortable, offers no more protection than a regular leather armor. On his lower body, Kees wears a battered set of leather boots and dark blue travel pants. Noticing his shirt usually draws unwanted attention, however, Kees often wears a long, dark blue travel cloak to over it.


Personality

      Kees is an apparently cheerful person, whenever he has the chance to talk to someone, he will do it non-stop. Nevertheless, the observant people will notice he will never talk about anything that could be related to his feelings or anything that would say too much about himself. He is loyal to his word and to others, seeking attention through this at times, probably because of his lonely life. When a situation might be too dangerous, he would rather go unnoticed or pull back than to pull any heroics, as he puts it himself, "I'm no hero, just some guy trying to live to see tomorrow." This, however, does not mean Kees will betray his comrades, he has a deep rooted sense of morality and correctness, he'd just rather avoid pointless risks. In the end, Kees has a hard time settling down somewhere, ever the nomad, he feels the need to move on sometime, trying to find somewhere or someone who might feel like home.


History

      Kees has no memory of his early childhood, he was orphaned very young and was raised by his father's Hunter-killer Automaton, whom he's come to know as Amaru. After his parent's deaths, Kees was taken to safety by Amaru, who must've realized the child's importance to his former master. Somehow, the Automaton was able to raise a young and healthy boy, with a few of Kees parent's posesions, the two have been wondering ever since. To Kees, Amaru is his whole family and his only friend, though the Automaton cannot speak and cannot remember anything previous to the death of Kees's parents (Amaru's main processing unit was damaged in the battle that claimed Kees's parent's lifes), he taught Kees everything he knows, specially his combat skills. Kees has found no welcome in the places his wandering has taken him to, though, his outfit and Amaru himself being clear indications of his centran parentage, he is an outcast wherever he goes, selling his and Amaru's (The Automaton is damaged and old, and may malfunction at times, but its nothing a swift kick won't fix) combat skills to make ends meet, but never lingering in any one place. To this day, he wanders the world with his ever-present guardian looking for wherever they belong.
