Raitzu is like most trolls, big and black. He's extremely muscled and hairy, his long spiky sideburns flowing into his long, thick dreads, followed by his black haired back. It would almost appear as if he had fur in several places, such as his lower arms, upper legs and feet. His eyes are golden yellow. His thick black chest is covered with tribal tattoos, and he has several more on his face, hands, lower legs and sides. He is usually travelling wearing little more than tough leather pants, a black travelling cloak with hood, and a large sack for carrying his stuff. He has several tribal amulets decorated with fangs and claws from various monsters hanging around his neck, and he had body piercings on his lower arms and both nipples.

Personality

Raitzu is a true brawler, and he likes fighting. Or better said, he likes winning fights, the messier the better. He can be quite patient when he puts himself to it, attacking at the opportunistic time or waiting until his opponent makes a mistake. He usually eats his dead opponents too, whether they be beast or man. Other than his lust for fighting and food, Raitzu likes to travel around, which is unusual for Trolls. He is proud on his travelling and likes to brag about the places he's seen and the dangers he's survived.
Otherwise, Raitzu is a typical Troll that believes in the shamanistic ways of his kin, and having a deep loathing for most things non-Troll. His political opinions extend to the following: "All pesky Dryads should be ripped apart n' all them cowardly halfling n' gnome-pests should be impaled and roasted above the fires of a troll cook!". Other than that politics are of little importance to him. His hero is Crimson Risar, and he hopes to meet the troll pirate someday.

History

Raitzu was born as the son of a Troll shamaness and a hunter. Like other Trolls he was expected to grow strong and powerful, and he did. He learned of the demons they'd escaped from, and how their shamans called to the spirits to wash the demonic taint from them. He heard the stories of how the Trolls were once elves, who were betrayed by their kin. The demon Orcus took them to the underworld where they suffered long and hard, and now they had escaped - stronger than ever before. And the traitors should be punished for what they did to the Trolls! The little halflings and gnomes were enemies too, and only the other shunned races, the orcs and goblins, can be counted upon as friends for they are mistreated as the Trolls are. Raitzu remembered all the stories well, and trained to one day become a great Troll warrior. However, he preferred his claws above weapons - he wanted his enemies to be ripped by troll hands, not sharp metal. When he felt confident enough, he set out into the world to spread the glory of the Trolls. However, he found not even a big and strong Troll could spread this glory right away, as he was shunned in many places - because of his Trollblood. But he also found many people could use a big and strong Troll to solve 'problems', and so he became a mercenary. Now he does his jobs, earning money and taking the first steps to becoming a famed warrior.

2006-07-03 [Adaman]: Raitzu as a Champion would be rather frightening.

2006-07-05 [Blood Raven]: I know, he'll love it ^^

2006-07-09 [Blood Raven]: does my regeneration rise when I use endurance as well?

2006-07-09 [Adaman]: Yep, but you must maintain that action use or it drops back down.

2006-07-09 [Blood Raven]: yeah I know, but it makes spending that one action quite worthwile, cuz it not only pumps up my hp, but my regen as well. So I can choose to turn from Tank, into Uber-Tank for short amounts of time :P

2006-07-09 [Adaman]: Actions are a demanded supply for battle, so using them up can be disasterous if you don't have any allies around to help out.

2006-07-09 [Blood Raven]: True enough, but Endurance will be great for the second half of combat. When there are multiple opponents, Raitzu can first take down a few, and when he won't need too many actions anymore, he could use endurance a few rounds to get back a few hp, and continue the fight.

2006-07-09 [Adaman]: Yes, Troll regeneration makes them very dangerous. I might have to tone it down later on unless I can equalize all the other racial skills to match.

2006-07-09 [Blood Raven]: that, or you keep hitting me with high level stuff :P

2006-07-09 [Adaman]: And reward you with thousands of skill points when you beat them? I think not, heh.

2006-07-09 [Blood Raven]: oh right, true enough.

2006-07-09 [Adaman]: With the update, Raitzu will lose his resistance, but will gain higher stamina. You can have the option of making his resistance higher with your voluntary bonus, would really only be a minor switch of stamina/resistance numbers. Your secondary weakness was awareness I think, you can alter that to whatever you want. It's counteracted because he's an elven race technically at the moment.

2006-07-09 [Blood Raven]: perhaps he has an attention disorder? ^^" and it's always nice to have a high resistance... but I think you'd have to explain it in more detail to me sometime. For instance I don't really have an idea what this voluntary bonus is... ^^"

2006-07-10 [Adaman]: When you start in Fantasma now, you have a "novice" class, which is the point that you decide to train into becoming on of the classes. In Raitzu's case, Monk. During the novice stage, you don't get the high (5), low (1) stats but instead you get a average/high(4), and average/low(2) stat of your choosing as a Novice. When you become a class, then you get the 5-1.

2006-07-10 [Blood Raven]: aha, and how and when will these changes be executed? Approximatly?

2006-07-10 [Adaman]: Sooner than you may think. I'm shooting for the end of this month, depending on how well magic goes.

2006-07-12 [Blood Raven]: it's certainly good to know this wiki is well looked after :)

2006-07-12 [Adaman]: I try to keep daily updates, but even I need a break every now and then.

2006-07-12 [Blood Raven]: I totally respect that. I myself take breaks more than once in a while, so I better respect it XP

2006-07-22 [Blood Raven]: I don't totally understand the multiclassing yet... Nor the normal class advancement. So Raitzu takes all 4 skills needed to be a Champion, and then there'll be even more skills he can take to become like, a supreme Champion, or he could use his skill slots to multiclass Druid, and possibly Shaman?

2006-07-22 [Adaman]: The skills that he gets for becoming a champion are unique to him, or other champions. Multi-classing was made to be difficult, since two jobs are alot more to remember than just 1. If you choose just one advanced class, you get more customization because you have free skill slots to take on standard skills. However, multiclassing takes up all skill slots, unless you're multi-classing two classes that have similar prerequisites. It's difficult, and made to be that way, heh. Although I am thinking of ways to make it a tad easier, such as a default skill for becoming an advanced class.
