Username: [
Lord Josmar]
Character Name: Father Hanson Rosheck
Age: 32
Appearance: Hanson tries his best to keep his appearance neat and clean-cut, but with the current situation, that is more difficult every day. His dark brown hair is speckled with white and has grown long, just brushing his shoulder. While the beginnings of crow's feet bring attention to his pale blue eyes which are clearly visible under his small glasses. He is an average man in most other regards, though he is rather skinny due to difficulties finding food.
Clothing: He still wears his priest outfit, complete with white collar, though it is worse for wear. He also wears a small necklace with the cross and the Holy Mary, as well as a rosary that he has wrapped around his wrist and hand.
Personality: He is a kind-hearted man who would gladly starve if it would allow someone else to eat. It is this attitude that has caused him so much hardship as many a person has used him to their own means. Despite all that has happened to him and to those around him, he still keeps the faith and seeks to right whatever wrong he has done in his life that has forced him to live in this hellish nightmare.
Preferred Weapon: Normally Father Hanson would refuse to pick up a weapon of any kind and turn it against his fellow man. However, he sees these creatures as damned souls who are, woefully, beyond redemption and obstacles in his way of bringing the light back to the world. So he carries around a Winchester Model 1887 along with an M1911 pistol and a Derringer that he keeps hidden and secure for emergency situations.
History: Father Hanson Rosheck was in charge of the Gate of Heaven convent in Michigan, and preached at a local church for the largest portion of his adult life. He knew that the good fortune that had been bestowed upon him throughout his life was due to his faith and devotion to the lord.
When he first heard of this strange infestation sweeping the nation and the world, it troubled him greatly. "An incurable and unstoppable plague? It must be the doing of something divine. Perhaps the Lord has finally grown tired of the sacrilegious and sinful ways of the world and sent down his holy wrath in the form of this infection." He decided, and spread this thought amongst his flock and that if they stayed on the path of the righteous and devout then they would be spared.
Well, one night, as he sat in his study, he heard a scream ring out in the convent. He quickly went to investigate, but never made it. Shortly after the first scream, there were more and more. Panic broke out in the convent as the infection had found them and now these unholy abominations were feasting upon those that looked to him for guidance. He doesn't remember much after that first scream and for several hours afterwards, just that he got out and is alive now. He blames himself for the death of his flock and believes that somewhere he had led them astray and caused this horrible massacre to fall upon them and has vowed to atone for the misguidance and hopefully earn the right for there souls to rest eternally inside the gates of heaven, even if he must spend it in hell.
