Poem's Title:The Way
Poem:
I love the way you make me feel
so incredibly needed.
It's great how your smiles
lights up even the darkest,
most serious place of your eyes.
I love the way you hold my hand,
like you don't want to let go,
the way your arm always seems to fit,
perfectly around my waist. Or how you hold me close
to listen to the steady beat,
of your heart.
It's perfect the way
you can mke me laugh
even when I'm having the worst day
you could possibly think of,
but most of all
I want you to know,
I love you more than you could ever

Poem's Title:What hides in plain sight
Poem:
I stare into the night,
Watching the darkness by candlelight.
Fearful not of things that fright,
But only what hides in plain sight.
My hearing is clear and muffled too,
My eyes are blind, but as well can see.
I’ve learned to forget, as few people do,
And everyone who knows will, except for me.
I’m not afraid of what I see
Only of what I cannot.
For with these eyes, blind as can be,
A glimmer of truth they dearly sought.
The darkness within is now outside
The truth is gone but still remains.
The thing we have found is the one we must hide,
From the sunny days and cloudy rains.
For the truth is false and the false is true
And we cannot see but we can fight,
Those beings that hide in the bright dark blue.
The ones who hide in plain sight.

Poem's Title: Eyes
Poem:
Look into the eyes of a stranger.
Can you see his soul?
Can you see if he embodied with love? or hate?
His eyes will tell you.
They will tell you if he is filled with sorrow or dispair.
Just as they will tell you if he is filled with hope or joy.
The spirit that he keeps inside,
Can be seen within his eyes.

Poem's Title: Devoid of Decisiveness
Poem:
Dissatisfaction with the world
Can bring about a spark
Which shows a life ideal to all
Lost to us in the dark.
But such a spark, when given at
The wrong time, is the same
As jumping right into the fire
It sets my world aflame.
The darkness brings confusion while
The fire makes me concerned.
So tell me which is better:
To be lost, or to be burned.
I’ve heard the tales of men who
Ventured onward in the cold.
Their dedication must have been
A struggle to uphold.
For now and then I feel an urge
To change the status quo.
Before I get too far along
I meet a different foe.
The building pressure from my peers
And my desire to please
Can darken any light exposed,
And snuff it out with ease.
The fluctuating flicker of the
Sunlight seems to fade
To one enlightened statement that
I’m thoroughly betrayed.
The torch burns down, but still I hear
The scuffle and the squall
Try as I might to block it out
I can’t ignore the call.
Sometimes it pleads with me for aid
While others I’m alone.
I reach for it, but strike a wall.
I feel I must be shown
The pathway through this clouded maze
So here I will reside
Until some beacon brings me back
My confidence and stride.
At this point I can only tell
I’m standing in a line.
This queue is all that I can see,
And everything seems fine.
I take my comfort from the fact
The leading man must know
Exactly where he’s coming from,
And where he wants to go.
But, when I ask the one in front
Of me he lacks a plan.
It seems that, though I am in line,
I’m right where I began.
We haven’t moved, and more
depressing
Still is what I see
When looking back; I notice
There are others tailing me.
This monstrous line within a maze
Can push you to the brink
Of all that you can tolerate
Until you stop to think.
That if I got to lead the pack,
It would turn out the same.
Yes, I could make the choices, but
Deciding’s not my game.
I stay in line behind my friend
And watch as life goes by.
My opportunities have passed
It’s time to say goodbye.
I lean both left and right to see
The things that lie ahead.
I’ll never know until too late
By then I will be dead.
I stand on this conveyor belt
And glance about the room
As unwittingly I head toward
The gnashing jaws of doom.
And, though I may not realize
The peril hidden there,
The danger doesn’t lessen just
Because I’m unaware.

Poem's Title: Untitled
Poem:
He walks calmly and efficiently,
His mind hardened for the task,
He stalks closer and switches over to the mask.
He feels the weight in his pocket,
As he rings the bell,
A smiling woman answeres the door,
Not aware she is going to be sent to hell.
He commits the crime coolly,
Watches as the fight leaves her eyes.
He wonders what her last thought was
As she dies.
He drags the body back in the house,
And cleans up the blood.
He hums as he tidies.
Enjoying the adrenaline flood.
He lets himself out the back door,
Not to be seen anymore.
No one executes a crime chiller,
Than a government trained killer.

Poem's Title: Tragedy
Its such a simple word,
with such a ill meaning
its some you'd rather not ever hear.
there was a tragedy,
we couldn't do a thing
is all over now,
she barely felt a thing.
the poor girl was confused,
she didn't see the truth
i feel so bad for you.
please don't follow her.
i asked him how she did it,
but he just shook his head,
i said i wish i would have known,
but now all it became,
was a worthless tragedy.
at the funeral i leaned over the coffin.
i rested a shirt in her coffin.
no one would understand that symbol but us.
no one understood my tragedy.
I layed a kiss upon her head.
i really wish i could be dead...
there was a tragedy,
we couldn't do a thing
is all over now,
she barely felt a thing.
the poor girl was confused,
she didn't see the truth
i feel so bad for you.
please don't follow her.
i stood up, and made a wall,
no hurt could touch my heart.
no one would know me now,
i will not hurt again.
I watched them bury her,
into the cold, hard, ground.
i did not shed a tear.
there was nothing left for me here.
there was a tragedy,
we couldn't do a thing
is all over now,
she barely felt a thing.
the poor girl was confused,
she didn't see the truth
i feel so bad for you.
please don't follow her.
Its such a tragedy,
she had to kill herself,
if only i could have told her
if only once more i could hold her.
its sad she felt alone
marred her skin so she could atone.
i'll never forget that girl.
Whose smile i came to adore.
