metatron and vivi

*Vivi jumped as a tray clattered somewhere in the cafeteria, sounding mysteriously like a gun shot. Her head jerked around looking over her shoulder, her soft blond hair obscuring her lips. Her eyes scanned the milling students finishing their lunch, but none seemed to notice her slight panic attack.* Vi? *A soft voice said beside her. Her head whipped back around to face the girl sitting next to her. Nia was practically an idol in the Rodain Private Academy, and it always blew Vivi's mind that she choose to be friends with her, Vivian the witch and social outcast. She had long platinum blond wavy hair that rippled in light golden waves, her skin was a dark creamy brown, and her golden eyes seemed to glow despite the disgusting fluorescent lights above. Even the Elite school uniform looked amazing on her. A white blouse shirt, with a short black tie bearing the school emblem on it, and a short black skirt with knee high, black boots (students are allowed to wear shoes of their choice as long as they're not heels), made her look like a super model despite her height.* Something wrong? You've been jumpy all day. *She said softly, chewing absently on the tip of the straw in her chocolate milk carton. Vivi laughed nervously, her eyes doing yet another sweep of the cafeteria.* Its nothing really. I promise. *She said with a really unconvincing smile. Nia's eyes narrowed and she glared at Vivi.* Spill. You've been jumpy all morning. *Nia said accusingly.* No, I hav-- *Vivi tried to retort but Nia cut her off.* You nearly jumped onto the ceiling like a cat in one of those old cartoons when you heard a locker slam on the way to first period. You practically vaulted over a balcony when you heard Jonny Miller's piece of crap, that he calls a car for some reason, go off on the way to P.E. Then you smacked into those un---* *She paused for a second looking uncomfortable as if she couldn't speak, then sighed.* That wall of glass near the lobby on the way here when someone's chair squeaked. Now spill it. *She said folding her arms and glaring at Vivi. Vivi blushed at the last remark, rubbing the still red mark on her forehead. She sighed looking defeated.* Ok, so I have been a little jumpy. It was this dream I had last night. *Vivi said leaning her elbows on the table and propping her chin up with her palms. Nia raised an eyebrow trying to look skeptical.* I don't really remember the dream, but there were gun shots and screaming. Everything was dark too. It was really vivid though, I could smell blood and gun smoke. *She closed her eyes as if trying to recall the details. Nia had leaned in closer, and jumped back when Vivi's eyes flew open and she dropped her hands looking anxiously at her friend.* I know it sounds weird, but I just have this feeling. A bad feeling, that something is going to go wrong today. *She said looking worried. Nia blinked, but in truth she didn't doubt this girl's words. She had known Vivi long enough to know her dreams and feelings about such things were usually right on the bar. But she didn't want to worry her friend and gently leaned forward taking hold of her hand.* I'm sure it was just a bad dream, nothing bad could happen here. Its just your imagination getting the best of you. *She said standing up and taking hold of their trays.* I'll go dump the trays. You head to the bathroom and wash up. *Nia said smiling soothingly leaving with the trays as every head watched her walk away. Vivi nodded and stood up heading towards the bathroom. She ignored the stream of murmurs and snide comments behind her back as she went, she had gotten used to them at this point. She tried not to think about it as she dropped her skirt and underwear and sat on the toilet. Since she was young she'd never had many friends. Her parents having sheltered both her and her brother for the unsavory tendencies their young children showed before their rich guests. Vivi could recall the guests laughing as she told them things like their pet was going to die, or they were going to make more money. But when she was three she had had a sickening dream of one of her parents' friends dieing a rather horrible death. She had tried to tell the man and unleashed what her older brother had tried to keep her from. Her parents beat her telling her such things were bad and went against God's will and that to say such things to people were rude. Her hand absently traced a scar visible at her hip. That was when she learned the truth. Her brother had had the same treatment growing up, so much so to the point he was practically insane. She was eventually sent to an insane asylum where they electrified her evil ways out of her, so they thought anyway. Because of it she only remembered her childhood in bits and flashes. She learned to fool them about her dreams, trying to shut away that part her, specially after she heard that man had really died the way she had seen. When she was five she was finally deemed releasable and returned home where she played the part of the perfect daughter fearing further punishment. She didn't remember much about those times, she had been heavily medicated for the most part. But when finally the medicated stupor subsided after a few years, she realized her brother was gone. She didn't blame him, he'd disappeared at around age 15 or 16, and she didn't blame him for leaving her behind. She just wished he would stop with the letters and come see her personally. Her parents didn't know she was in contact with him, nor did she plan to tell them. She stood up, wiped, pulled up her panties and her skirt up, and left the stall. She washed her hands and starred at herself blankly in the mirror. She'd always considered herself pretty, not that anyone besides Nia thought so. She had above shoulder length light honey golden blond hair, where the back was shorter than the bangs in the front, cool blue eyes that resembled her brother's more than either of her parents, and smooth, unblemished skin (not counting the scars no one could see under her clothes). She wore the regular school uniform, a white button up shirt, under a tan colored jacket, with an emerald green short tie bearing the school emblem, an emerald green skirt, with high kneed light blue socks and brown leather hush-puppy (looking) shoes. She dried her hands still contemplating her weird abilities, so Nia called them. She had tried to hide her "visions," as Nia called them, for fear of her parents sending her back to that place. She felt there was something wrong with her, even though both her brother and Nia said there nothing wrong with her and she should cherish her gift. But it was hard to do that when all your could remember was pain and people telling you it was wrong at such a young age. She sighed, trying to dismiss the flare of fear that came with remembering her latest dream. She grumbled stuffing the feeling down as she tossed the dirty paper towel in the trash. Nia had said it was just a bad dream, and that nothing bad was going to happen here. Nia would never lie to her, she always believed her when she told her of her dreams. Even if she wouldn't say it out loud, she didn't believe that Vivi was lieing about them. Vivi smiled to herself feeling better as she walked out into the cafeteria.* [Wish_Alley]

(* if your wondering whats going on at this part ask me, cause I know it sounds a little confusing)

(You can also change whatever you need to at the parts mentioning her brother, age or what really happening to him, ect. I was just writing what I felt was right so yeah. Also terribly sorry its so long, again, not really much to do at this point in time :/)

*The wind rushed by, such a typical day. The world below busied it's self with with unfamiliar freedom and malicious acts. The majority of the living population wonders how and why one can do such things but not this creature who looked so dead pan as he gazed from his perched above the Rodain Private Academy. His hair was black as the night that had since passed, falling behind him and pulled back into a pony tail that fell down to the lower black. The face was like a statues, ivory colored and gracefully chiseled into a man's face. The orbs that look so tenderly place in the white socket were a brown that matched that of it's owner's hair. His body was eloquent and by many on of those who inhabited the street, perfect. He didn't care nor did he understand what these Earth dwelling creatures meant by such words as beautiful. Though he stood in what should be plain sight yet he was not seen. He was not normal and though he was told what tears and laughter was there was no full connections. He was what many called an angel and his creation and purpose was to serve. It was his job to serve his master and to relay the message the master had for the humans. His masters second creatures were called humans he was there to help them. Today was one of his least favorite situations. There was screaming, gun shots, blood, tears, and death. "Fell, why has the place fallen so far? Is this all 'his' fault or is it just man? Ah, well it is time to go." He said as he watched the spirits float away into the air. They would make it to his home soon. Wings unfolded from his back. They looked like raven wings on a human but the feathers glistened like gems. His dress looked like a that of some punk rocker, bare-foot with dress pants and a black shirt with it's selves ripped off and the collar popped. Though the style looked cool it was by far not his intention. He had been dressed by the all to jumpy cherub Casey. She said he was far to cute to look so stuffy. It had only been a few years since the master had allowed for the cherubs to gain emotion and she continued to tell him that it was amazing and that "Metatron, some day you'll understand." He just wished that the day was over and that he just got a little tasted of what was so amazing.*[lrs928]

*Vivi didn't hear the screams as the lone student pulled out the gun. She didn't notice those scrambling from the tables around her. She didn't hear the threatening voice of the male student, she and everybody else, had never paid attention too. Nor did she here him cock the gun. It was only when she heard Nia's terrified scream and, smiling at the idea of Nia's teasing her for her day dreaming again, looked in the direction of her friend. Thats when she saw it. The terror and the screaming, those mowing and climbing over one another to run as the shooter took them out. Nia was thrown over the shoulder of one of the football players, screaming to be let down. Five were already down for the count, blank eyes starring as blood pooled around them. Everything was in slow motion, and the motions and sound didn't catch up to her until it was too late. She felt it connect in her gut before the pain came. Suddenly all the sound rushed upon her, making her head spin.* VIVI! RUN! *Nia screamed still pleading to be let down. Vivi blinked, everything seemed too loud and too bright. She collapsed to her knees and watched as several courageous students tackled the still screaming shooter. She caught that the gun was empty and smiled faintly, glad that Nia hadn't been hurt, but sad that she wouldn't see her friend again. She closed her eyes and crumpled onto the floor fading swiftly from the darkness, screams, blood and gun smoke.*

*Fell didn't answer Metatron's as he watched the first of the souls float away. He was a gorgeous creation, one of the many faces humans associated with angels. A gorgeous trusting face, young and ever beautiful, fair golden hair that rippled and curled around his face in perfect shaggy locks, blue eyes that matched the sky, and fair skin tinted gold. He was also bare foot, wearing white jeans, and a white shirt with the top buttons undone, he might as well have been a fashion model in an advertisement the way he glowed. His snow white wings twitched as he watched the young red-headed girl's soul float upwards.* Man isn't inherently evil, its the evil that 'He' brought with civilization that seems to have brought things to where they are. *He sighed as he followed his companion.* [Wish_Alley]

* Metatron was in the room with the shooter and the students his face was solemn. As he examined the dead students and the live ones. He took his time running about the place. He could here the demons in the room. They floated among the people and crowded around the shooter a black aura resulting in the boy's take over. "Is it hard to imagine that we could do so well or are you still wondering what it would be like to feel." Came a voice to him. This voice was one he'd heard before but also one that always meant trouble. He scanned the room and found it's owner. A boy standing and acting appalled by the scene he had stirred. The boy looked about 17 with snow white hair that was braided down his back. His uniform made him look so prestigious like a prince. He was there physically, even worse. The boy was a prince but not the romantic type. His name was Damian, the son of no other than Lucifer. Metatron looked down as he bumped into a girl on the floor. His eyes examined her over. She was dying and though this was normal he suddenly had an urge to stop it. "Well, how about we have some fun. I'm going to give you a present. While your here let's give you some feelings." Damian's voice rang into his mind and then like shock waves each emotions hit him. He cried out feeling like he was about to explode. The pain of sadness was over whelming as he clutched the girl on the floor and held her tight. Why was he doing this? He didn't follow orders they were told who to save and who not to but here he giving his strength to this blond haired girl.*[lrs928]

*Fell wandered in the crowd outside of the school. Metatron was always the one to handle these situations, he was just there as back up. Truly it was demeaning to him, a sword of heaven, but this was his punishment. He had lost a great treasure of God and he was lucky enough to get off this easy, just losing a few ranks but keeping his wings. He glared at the demons milling about the crying and screaming students bursting from the school. They sneered at him, cackling and pointing, knowing he couldn't interfere. They hadn't really done anything wrong or against the laws, they just planted the seeds necessary for the scene. Anger flared in him and before he caught himself he lashed out with a licking tongue of flame. The demons hissed skittering away. He tried not to feel smug about they're chattering dislike for his action, but it was too easy a feeling. He frowned. Feelings. He had never told another about these feelings. He knew he was defective just for having them, let alone anyone else knowing about it. He managed to hide them well enough, but alone they seemed to come out so much stronger. He walked casually not looking at anything in particular, then he caught the voice.* PUT ME DOWN!! VIVI!! SHES INJURED!! LET GO OF ME! *The oddly familiar voice screamed. Nia. Fell watched as she punched and kicked trying to get free of the rather burly teen's grasp. He glided over without Nia noticing and glamored the boy. He collapsed and Fell caught Nia in his arms. She blinked at his smiling expression, not exactly comprehending. Then she frowned with realization.* What are you doing here? *She growled squirming in his grasp. He held her tight.* Not following you, and not helping you. Obviously. *He said with a brighter smile. She glared at him.* I don't have time for you and your odd attraction to me, or whatever your fascination with me is!! *She said finally managing to get free. She strode toward the building, but he was right behind her.* Its not a fascination. Your the one stalking me. *He said with a chuckle. In truth he liked Nia. She seemed to be thick headed or something and didn't notice his odd behavior for being an angel. She spun and was about to say something when they both froze. They both felt it suddenly, being closer to the school. A dark presence, a dieing angel, and human who wasn't supposed to be alive.* Damien.... *They breathed together and bolted into the building.*

*Vivi dreamed as she floated between life and death. She was numb, therefore not really surprised when the dreams began like they always did when her eyes closed. They were fuzzy, and in coherent, rough splashes of color, that just when she was about to get a lock on what they really were, changed to something else. They were hideous, yet beautiful, disgusting, yet oh so appealing, serene, yet terribly perplexing. They were so contrasting so couldn't help but watch, despite her muted feelings. She wasn't sure how long she sat there watching the waves of color before something prickled in her mind. The scenes before her focused automatically. Before her was a man, beautiful, but utterly human. Yet there was something else under the surface, some underlying potential. She watched him smiling and laughing before her and slowly the feelings returned. She was confused for the images, yet as she watched, pangs of sadness stabbed her right through the heart. She was barely aware of tears on her cheeks as the man smiled at her now. Why did he feel so familiar? Why was he smiling so happily at her? Why did she feel happy back? Why did his eyes look so sad though? She didn't know and her heart ached. She longed to find this man, to cradle him and take away the look in his eyes. Why was it so strong? The images faded as she felt solid once more, and became aware of someone crying. She could feel that someone was holding her. She also felt she was crying for the sobs coming from that person. Her arms felt limp and numb as she willed them to wrap around the person holding her. She clutched as the person, even though the grip wasn't very tight.* Shhhh... *She whispered.* I'm not going any where. *She said in a weak voice.* [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron's eyes were full of tears as he clutched this gentle girl that was now comforting him. He was failing at his job as a comforter. The shooter was dead and the s.w.a.t. team was scouring the building looking for accomplices. The Emts and firefighters followed in behind with stretchers and back boards. The horror and stench of death was over powering. Metatron was tangent looking human like as his wings stayed invisible. He was so out of place amongst them all. There were people pointing at him as he seemed to come from know where. His shirt was covered and the blood of the girl he was holding yet the girl who was no longer in a serious condition. She was would be taken in and closely watched no doubt and they would heal the now shallow gun shot wound. The Emts pried the girl from his hands, he had done this wrong. The kids were all still scared and the ones he was suppose to save had all passed away. This wasn't all his fault, Damien had played a very dirty trick and as the people filtered out the more the feeling slipped away and soon he could feel nothing again. That is except doubt a present the Damien has so kindly left him with. He looked in shock still and some of the Emts attempted to pull him from the floor and check him for injuries.*[lrs928]

*Vivi was fading in and out of consciousness. Though the wound had been mostly healed, the pain and the blood loss still remained. She tried feebly to cling to the person holding her as their sobs faded. Her eyes couldn't seem to open and her head lulled on her shoulders as the EMTs strapped her to a stretcher and wheeled her away to ambulance. Words couldn't be formed as she desperately tried to call out, as the EMTs placed a mask over her mouth and she faded once more into unconsciousness.*

*Nia didn't even give Fell a second glance or thought as she ran to Vivi. She tried to make the EMTs take her with them, but they refused. Vivi still needed help and they didn't want someone in the way. She watched them drive off aghast, then a voice prickled her ears. She whipped around, fire in her eyes.* Damien... *She snarled in a voice so low you couldn't have been human to hear it. She launched herself at him, wrapping her arms around him and pretending to sob like some girlfriend of his. She buried her face into his chest while digging her claw like nails as hard as she could into his back. Knowing Damien he was probably enjoying it, but once they were alone she was going to tear his head off for harming Vivi.*

*Fell stood starring at the scene before him. What had been considered a routine process had turned horribly wrong just because of the prince's involvement. He didn't watch as Nia left knowing the girl was worried, for some odd reason, about the human Metatron had saved. He wheeled on Metatron and the emotions he had been keeping in check for so long flared to life. His glamor of invisibility fell and he ignored the gasps at his sudden appearance. He grabbed Metatron and hauled the angel away, not paying attention to where they were until they were alone. He spun and faced him, mere inches from his face.* What. Was. THAT!? *He said trying to remain calm, and utterly failing.* [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron fell in and followed Fell. His eyes were down cast and he shuttered as his mind continued to slip from attention. He had nevere had such pain in his heart until now. There was so many doubts running through his head. Had he done his job right or had he completely failed? Fell's words went straight past him. It wasn't for a few minutes before he digested the words he had said. "It was.. I don't know what that was. I saw Damien and then I felt something." Metatron looked confused though he felt no such thing any longer. "It was painful and she was dying I couldn't make it stop, I wanted to hold here, I..I wanted to hold here." There in was the truth. Metatron rarely said I and never did anything other than what the master had told him to do. There were many times when he corrected others, telling them there was only the master. He didn't care because he didn't feel even though there was a large amount of upper angels that were granted emotions.*[lrs928]

*Fell blinked at him. He began to circle Metatron, seeming to appraise him, or look at him like he had never seen him before. He stopped in front of Metatron and blinked at him again.* Nothing looks different... *He muttered. His emotions were running wild now. He didn't even notice the expressions of confusion and curiosity adorning his face. He sighed.* This is Damien's fault, the ones who died today are on his head.... But, we are also not without fault. *He shook his head. All the innocents that were lost today were certainly going to tip The Scales of Balance off even more than they already were. But he wondered if it was a coincidence Damien had used that girl, as he remembered Nia's frantic reaction to her being harmed. He glanced back up at Metatron.* Did you sense who the girl was at least? Was she one of the ones on the list? *Fell asked back to business, despite his insides being riddled with fear and anxiety at the current situation.*

*The EMTs began to move away upon seeing Nia's "emotional" state. She sobbed harder into Damien, not minding the glances she got. Her nails dug harder and knew she was drawing blood.* [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron took in deep breaths as he bit his lip. "I don't know. She wasn't on the list. The mission...failed." He said as he realized he'd made a grave mistake. "This isn't going to go over well with the council let alone the master. I can tell you are angry with me. I understand," he paused digesting the words he had said now. "I understand, I need to leave meet you back home." He finished as he took off into the air. He was doubting that the master would forgive him. He soared above the high clouds and towards the sun. Landing on a high rise in the land of opportunity he perched alone. He needed the time to clear away these brutal feelings doubt. He shuttered as hand fell on his shoulder. For a moment the hand was comfortable as well as familiar. "It's not fair, you shouldn't have to suffer with such fear. You could leave with freedom and with out the chains the master has given." The owner of the hand spoke cunningly. "oh yeah, and what would that be" he hissed back. "Simple just jump, become human. You could be with that girl, can't you still feel it inside you beating, that love, that passion? Oh, wait I guess you can't. Just give it a try brother." The Lucifer said calmly. Metatron turned to look at the fallen angel he had once been friends with. "Yes, maybe you have it right." He said and stepped back to the edge until he could move no farther with out falling. He had meant it sarcasticly, he could no longer trust the one named after the light though part of him was urging him to just fall.*

*Damien purred and kissed Nia on the cheek. "Ah, sweet one why such tears. The girl is fine. My plan worked we got the angel. Your tears be for nothing after all it is only a human." he said in her mind. He held her tightly turned on by her ferosious claws that now made him bleed. He wanted to take her there but he was sure that the morbid scene would tip off some of the human's to his coldness. After all his face looked in pain in horror. He was an honors student and a gentle choir boy that the girls fawned over. The 'prince' of the school.*[lrs928]

*Vivi lay in the hospital bed. Beeping surrounded her, matching her heart beat, and an air tube in her nose wheezed. Her eyes fluttered under eyelids as the scene played out. The beautiful person from her dreams during her near death experience sat in an even more beautiful land. She had a yearning to reach out and hold him. To remove the fear and doubt she saw in his gorgeous eyes. Then someone was speaking to him. Though just as beautiful as the one sitting, maybe even more so, he obviously had sinister intentions. Panic flooded her mind as she wished even more to shield the man from the other with the dark aura. She watched in horror as her beautiful angel walked to edge, seeming to contemplate leaping.* NOOOO!! *She screamed snapping awake and making the heart monitors jump to life.*

No, I'm not-- *Fell tried to say but it was too late. Metatron had already left. He let loose a string of curses he hadn't ever had enough courage to use, making sure to keep his Master's name out of it. he sighed and dropped down on a set of plastic cartons. How had things gone so wrong today?*

*DON'T CALL HER AN IT!! Nia snapped back in his mind, making the sentence a blow and a cutting sword. She hated doing this, throwing herself at him like some skank of hell, who constantly flaunted themselves before him hoping to get lucky. She raked her deeply dug claws out from where they were embedded, and bit hard on his chest. Trying to seem like she was muffling her sobs. She tasted blood and took a sick satisfaction from it, even though she could feel him responding happily to her abuse. There was still no reason to involve her. Any one of those stupid human meat sacks would have worked. Why my Vivi!? She growled, trying to snuggle closer and keep from throwing up at doing so.* [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron's dark eyes hovered out to the city below. It had been foolish but he couldn't help but look down to the people below. His heart pound as he felt those hands push. The air fell passed him for a moment there was that feeling he'd felt back with that girl. His wings snapped open caught the air until he was soaring again when he was hit mid air and the force of another was upon him. The arm's of Lucifer pulled his wings back until they snapped backwards. There was no pain, no fear just knowledge that he had lost. Today he would fall, he master would think him a traitor. "Just think about it, you'll finally lighten up."Lucifer said with his cold laugh. To fall and start again is many humans dream but as he fell into this world he had little understanding of he was blank. The ending was indeed the worse as pain and every other feeling flooded his senses. He cried out in pain, feathers surrounding him. There was no blood or broken bones but he felt his mind close off and sleep poor in, his head was heated with a fever.*

*"I will call her what ever I please! Your fantasy of friendship with the girl is nothing. She is just a human a tiny spec in life. Before you know it she will be dead and you will have to live life with out that friend. It isn't worth getting attached." he said bitterly There was a sound of pain in his voice one that whispered experience with in the bitter words.*

* The doctor sat in the chair beside the bed. His hands were covering his face and steaks of tears stained his face. The white doctors coat read the name Gray the doctors surname. On his left hand was a wedding band that was just a plain white gold. His hair was a feathery corn-silk-yellow and between his fingers there could be seen a pair of piercing blue eyes. They were a dark almost sapphire color. Vivi's scream caused the doctors hands to draw away from his face. He looked young but was in his late twenties. "Sister!" He said as he stood his hands coming to comfort her. "I'm sorry, if I had known I'd never have left you.*[lrs928]

*Vivi started crying. She knew it was irrational, it had just been a dream. But it had been so vivid, the emotions so real, she had been caught up in it all. She started sobbing curling into a fetal position as the last moments of his loss filled her. She was visibly shaking, tears clouding her vision. She was only vaguely aware of hands trying to comfort her and a soothing voice. Though it was familiar, and one she loved dearly, it wasn't the voice or touch she wanted.*

*Nia froze at the comment. She often forgot Damien was the son of Lucifer the way he treated her. They had known each other forever, Damien having a certain level of affection for her, where as she found him repulsive. He doted on her, spoiling her with conversations that made her his equal, where as he treated everyone else lower then scum on his shoe. Her family had exploited this connection to the extreme. Going so far as to offer Nia, the first female born in their family in hundred-thousands of years, as a bride to Damien to do with as he pleased. In return, they received back they're family pride, lost during the battle with heaven. Nia saw it as being sold, even if Damien didn't necessarily treat it that way. She had detested the idea and begged to be given some freedom. Damien had compromised, allowing her to go to the human world until they were to be wed. Not that that didn't stop him from being keeping her on a leash. The claws in his back loosened, her arms falling slack, and she released the chunk of muscle she had gripped in her teeth, laying her cheek on his chest. I know, My Lord... She whispered weakly, very rarely using the label. She hardly ever receded to his commanding tone, but this was a topic she would gladly become someone's pet for. She looked up into his eyes, real anxiety there now. But I don't want her die!! I want to keep her, even if she is a lifeless doll!! I want her to be mine, so I can protect her from every horror that befalls her, even if I am the cause!! She cried, real tears springing up now. I've been trying.... Trying to corrupt her. Maybe if I could just get her close enough to the edge, maybe I could make her immortal, right? It has been done before, hasn't it!? She sounded practically hysterical. Then a thought occurred to her. If you make it happen... She said slowly, knowing she would regret saying this, but she wanted Vivi too badly to care. I'll do whatever you want... Move the date up. Sit at your side like one of those whores. Let you have me whenever you please... She said the last part deliberately. Of course you would do all this anyway... But I can't leave her alone. I just can't!! She said turning her face away to hide the tears.* [Wish_Alley]

*Damien looked blank but his expression was soft and somber. If you care, let her die. Living forever is not fun nor is it healthy for one like her. I'm not a pig though it may seem like it at times. I can keep my desires down and call it old fashion but I'd rather it wait until or wedding night. It will be more passionate then." The words seemed impossible for Damien to speak but he had done it. Said words that he knew Lucifer would scoff his son for and then tell him to forget the friend and just take the bitch.*

*"Vivi" The doctor shouted, "It's me Alexander. You have to calm down and talk to me. Are you alright? I know the events were traumatic but you can't let them stay inside or you will die mentally. Please just say anything to me. I need to know your okay." He said as fresh tears ran down his face. He had received the chart about 3 hours ago, flipped open after he was told there had been a school shooting and expected some random stranger but instead found his sisters name plastered on the paper. He'd thrown his other patients on the other doctors and though it was personal took on only Vivi's case. He had been thinking about her for the last few years but had never been brave enough to return home to visit. She had left him with those people that he hated but he certainly could not take her with him either.*

*Metatron remember the emt's arriving and asking his name over and over again but he couldn't say. His angelic name would not due and so he became a John Doe.*[lrs928]

*Nia was lost in thought at his words and just buried her face in his chest. She couldn't even begin to fathom why she was seeking comfort from him this way. She didn't enjoy it but there was nothing she could do about it either. She belonged to him. She would be his no matter how hard she tried to fight it, and the one ray of hope she had had since she was born was fading aswell. She would lose Vivi eventually and with it her last real ray of freedom. Lose her last chance to have something that was her's and her's alone. She cried even though, again, it was irrational. She couldn't remember when she had started caring about Vivi. She was just a human, just a stupid human, and one that was even more shy about who she really was than most. She denied her visions like they were some disease, like if she accepted them they would spread and kill all of humanity. That was what had drawn Nia to her at first, a jewel amongt cattle. A human with real talent for once, not faking it hoping for fame. But as Nia got closer to her she saw beneath the ability, into a pure heart so innocent she wouldn't even suspect the girl she called her best friend of being a demon princess. Nia didn't want to let this girl so prone to accidents and unaware of the beautiful light she exuded from her very soul die such a mundane death, a human death. It seemed to sully her image of Vivi with the very thought. Nia cried into Damien's chest, silent tears of defiance she couldn't voice. She was only vaguely aware of the EMTs leaving with the disgarded meat sack bodies, the fire fighters leaving soon after, and soon the police were shooing those milling about away to close off the scene to preserve evidence. Finally Nia broke away, sighing, faking like she was tired of the act of playing the damsel in distress.* Your right. Absolutely. I guess I've been here too long, maybe its affecting my brain. *She said laughing it off. She was smiling despite the slight red around her eyes and the streaks on her cheeks.* Well I guess you should get going. The Master will want a report soon enough about the days sucsesses. *She said trying to smile encouragingly. She had given up trying to defie this chain binding her to this repulsive person, she could never escape him.*

*Vivi cried for a few minutes before the feelings began to fade. She wasn't in alot of pain, phsyically. Mentally and emotionally was a whole other story. She was stil shaking as the sobs faded and only silent tears remained. The images still flipped in her head, her mind trying to focus and figure out what she had just seen. Her mind was groggy from pain killers and other drugs and her processing was sluggish. She felt hands, familiar hands, touching her arms. The voice calling out to her sounded familiar aswell. She twisted her head slowly and tried to focus on the blond and rather bright male figure hanging over her. He was bright because of the doctor's uniform he wore, glowing with a nasty aura from the light ahead. His hair shined as well but it was his eyes that tipped her off, her eyes. She recalled the face, younger then, the last memory she had of him, and new emotions and images replaced the ones from her dreams.* B-Brother!! *She croaked out, her hands reaching up to grasp his shoulders.* Y-Your... r-really here... *She whispered running her hands down his arms, touching his hands, his chest, his hair and came to rest on his face. New tears sprang up now as her hands wrapped around his neck, pulling him down to her in a hug. It wasn't the hug of a frightened teenage girl who had just been shot, nearly died, and was greeted with the familiar of a loved one. It was the hug of a younger sister who had wanted to see her older brother so badly she had dreamed of when the moment would finally come.*

*Fell eventually settled into wandering the darkening streets. No one could see him, but it seemed to calm his mind watching human interaction. Mothers taking their children out for ice cream, a soldier and his lover reunited, an elderly couple holding hands walking in the fading sunlight. It was all in constrast to images he was used to, but it always fascinated him. How this world continued to turn despite the horrible events that occurred day after day. How humans could still show such displays of love and affection despite the horrors that were common place. He finally felt at peace and returned home. He walked silently through the foggy pillars to the library, his station. It was pretty much an insult to him. A fighter given a desk job. He found it funny at first, but now it was nothing but boring. He walked through the stacks, past scrolls, a few books here and there. He heard a song filtering through the stacks. He smiled at its familiarity and weaved through the stacks to his desk. He tried to call out to Metatron with his mind, hoping to assure the sensitive angel he wasn't angry and they would work this all out. He was almost to his desk and was puzzled as to why Metatron hadn't given him an answer. He walked behind a stack, drawn by the music and froze when his eyes landed on the adorable and beautiful little girl, perched on his desk, her legs swinging. But that wasn't what had stopped him (only partly). The alarms had been sounded. Metatron was a traitor.* [Wish_Alley]

*Damien's light blue eyes seemed gentle despite his dark soul. It was a glimpse of the truth. At a young age he was secluded from all of the others in hell. His father had beat him ruthlessly to get Damien to do his will. He had been an innocent child, not born of evil. He was born of the light and much like how his father once was. When he made friends his father made sure to terminate them. The mental aspects his father had instilled fear in his soul until he did only what was told of him. It took along time before he began to plan devious things himself, cringing all the while after doing so. He wanted to stop but he feared the wrath of his father and he was certain that no one in heaven would take him in because of his father's deeds.*

*Metatron watched the lights go by, the EMTs examining him and dampening his head with a cool cloth. Fear was instilled with in him. The world was new to him in his eyes. They were asking him question's and talking about how they would find out who he was soon. That is was more than likely temporary. They rolled him through doors, halls, and into a brightly lit room. There was a police officer and doctors swarming him.*

*The embrace was so endearing and loving that Alexander wrapped his arms around his sister and held her close. "I'm sorry I left you, I never thought you would have to endure something so terrifying as this. It seems as though your wounds are almost healed the biggest miracle I've seen."He said as he heard the door squeak open. The man in the doorway was in a suit and and expensive sunglasses. His hair was a rich dark chocolate and feel gently against his cheek as though he were a super model. He was gorgeous."So, this is why you canceled dinner. You could have told me that it was your sister but when I got here I realized it was her since her last name was yours or used to be yours."He said with a small laugh.*[lrs928]

*Nia's eyes seemed to flash at his gentle expression. He confused her often like this. Sometimes he was so much like his father it was a good thing they did much resemble the other. Other times, when they were alone.... It was almost like he did care about her. Really cared. It actually made her feel guilty for disliking him so much. She blinked at him trying to decipher his look.*

*Vivi hugged her brother back, too over whelmed to understand his words. She didn't even notice the other person who came into the room. She just hugged her brother smiling.* [Wish_Alley]

*Joseph entered the room and moved his sunglasses onto his head. He flopped down onto the bed with Vivi and studied the girl. "She has blond hair and blue eyes just as light as yours. I think she might be even as pale skinned as you." He said with a laugh and then kissed Alexander's forehead. "I'm sorry, I should have known it was important when you canceled dinner for a patient."He paused turning to vivi, "I love you dear but I must ask why on earth did you not decide on coming to the wedding?" Joseph asked sweetly. Alexander went scarlet in the face and he pulled away from his sister for a moment. "Joseph can we talk about this later?" Alexander said but Joseph was laughing. "You didn't even tell your family. You are a coward sweet heart.*

*Metatron was wheeled into the emergency room. The page went out to for doctor Gray to go to the emergency and though Alexander did not want to go but he forced himself to go anyway.*[lrs928]

*Vivi's eyes narrowed at the man speaking to her, like she was trying to focus on him, but mainly she was just confused as to where he had appeared from. She also wondered vaguely why he had kissed her brother on the forehead. She didn't comprehend his words either. The drugs just made it all worse. When she heard her brother's name over the intercom and heard his pager go off as he started to pull away, panic crossed her face.* Don't go! *She croaked in a weak voice, her hands grasping at the fabric of his uniform. It was a feeble attempt though and Alexander was able to move away easily. The blood loss made her shaky, and the painkillers made her arms feel like limp noodles. She reached out toward him wishing her body to move, but they had given her alot of painkillers, making it hard for her body to respond properly. She tried to keep from crying infront of the stranger she was left with, but it was hard. As she had watched her brother leave, even though she knew he would come back this time, it brought back nothing but bad memories. She felt like a child unable to do anything just like before. She could feel the man's gaze on her face and she wished he would leave so she could cry in peace. She preferred to distract herself, to calm her mind, by surveying the room around her. The window outside was dark with city lights glittering here and there from cars or flashing signs. Everything was emaculately clean, white walls, pale sheets, curtains with faded patterns separating empty beds like the one she was in. It even smelled clean, chemically with human scents mixed in. The sheets covering her weren't exactly the greatest, but they were better than most. It was all oddly familiar. She continued to look around until she noticed the beeping. She looked over and saw the heart monitor and the wheezing air machine, and her eyes seemed to contract as she froze.* Oh... *She said in a small voice. She seemed to shrink in upon herself, making herself as small as possible. She curled into a position that couldn't have been comfortable, given her still not entirely healed wound, and started shaking more violently. Her eyes darted around the room as if something was going to jump out and attack her.* Oh. *She muttered in an even smaller voice, tightening even more into her position. Vivi hated hospitals. Even if they were good places unlike where she had been sent as a child, she hated them. The memories of dark, screaming and pain, along with the horrid smells were too much to forget anytime soon.*

*Fell froze as the alarm rang in his head. It wasn't true, it couldn't be. Metatron was the most devoted angel to God, there was no way he would ever throw away his love. The young girl cocked her head at him. She was truly a beauty, and she seemed baffled at how he could stare past her like that when they were promised to one another. Her long wavy strawberry blond hair, that contrasted itself with gold-red, gold, and silver, sprawled in waves and curls on his desk. Her skin was flawless and pale, her blue eyes standing out against the almost silvery skin. She was obviously young, looking to be about 8 or 9. She wore a sparkley pale tan dress that fell to just above her knees, tieing into bows at her shoulders with the spaghetti straps. Her white wings were the brightest of all though. She was all contrasting, a shimmering of gold, pale red, silver, and white. One of God's loviest creatures.* Brother? *She inquired, her voice all bells and chimes. Fell still stood froze in place. She got annoyed, creases forming on her perfect face above the bridge of her nose and her eye brows. She was a creature that had been spoiled since the day she came to exist. The first few millenia of her life, her feet had never even touched the ground. She was constantly doted upon, given gifts, had chores done for her, assignments, reports, whatever she wanted she had gotten. Everyone loved her to the point of excess, and that was all she had ever known. She didn't like being ignored, or not being looked at, specially by the one person she wanted love from. But the love she wanted from Fell was different from what she should want. She had learned of romantic love many times, having been confessed too more often than not. Fell had always treated her differently, kept her at a distance rather than smothering her. It was why she had come to want him so badly, she wanted him to love her like everyone else. No. More than everyone else. She wanted to be the only one he would ever see, and ever want. She slipped off the desk, moving forward. Her shoeless feet padding on the marble floor. She stopped infront of him, once again was glad she was taller than most angels like herself. She reached up, cupping his cheeks, and getting on her tip toes, pulled his face down to meet her's. She kissed him gently, parting his lips to slip her tongue inside. He seemed so caught up in thought, he actually kissed her back! She wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss, emensely satisfied to have caught him off guard for once. He seemed to respond back, his long arms slipping slowly around her thin waist. His eyes refocused and he broke the lip lock, shoving her away from him. She squeaked as she fell back onto the floor and looked up at him like he had slapped her, tears brimming on the edges of her perfect eyes.* You wouldn't look at me! *She yelled at him, as the tears slipped down her cheeks. He was breathing hard, glaring at her, outraged she would try such a thing at a time like this.* I don't have time for your games! *He shouted, and her face fell blank, expressionless horror at his tone.* We're in an emergency! How can you be so selfish!? *He snapped turning away and storming from the library. Not giving her small frame on the floor a second glance. He had never been able to deal with her properly. Having been on trial when she came to be, by the time he returned she had already been ruined by the others. She was spoiled and selfish and he had choosen to distance her to kept her from suffering with him, besides ruining the life she was already used to and emensely enjoyed. He didn't understand why she was constantly saying she loved him, or why she was always hanging on him, or doing things like that. It just made no sense. He stormed away, his long legs carrying him from the library towards the gathering place where the angels were meeting. He was still furious, but soon that fell flat. He sighed as the feeling faded to regret and guilt. Again, feelings. His little sister had been born with them, nothing odd. She was too beautiful not to have them, and though the others were usally emotionless zombies, they were all drawn to her. He on the other hand wasn't meant to have them, and couldn't seem to deal with them. He truly did have an unnatural attachment to the little angel girl. One that definitely wasn't brotherly, and he wondered if that was why he kept himself from being around her. He made a mental note to apologise later, he didn't like the idea of her hating him. Suddenly Nia appeared his head, why did he associate the same feeling towards his sister with her? He sighed in frustration, resisting the urge to start banging his head on the marble pillar next to him. It was all to complicated to make any sense of at the moment. He growled to himself as he moved into the meeting area was a number of angels had gathered in the bowl like stone arena. He took a seat on a bench with a sigh, knowing this wasn't going to be pretty.* [Wish_Alley]

*Joseph sighed and then the light bulb struck. "Want to sneak out of hear, I really hate hospitals and you're technically fine just a small cut but the majority of it is healed. Your chart says it is a miracle and I say it's grounds to get you the hell out of here." He didn't wait for and answer as he started to undo her ivy and heart monitors. "I'll text Alexander after we are out." He said with a sly laugh.*

*Work was mind numbing and getting a John Doe patient just made the day even worse. He hated this world and in between ordering scans he swallowed down a couple of antidepressant and then a couple more just to be on the safe side. The John Doe looked young, about his sisters age and part of him wondered if he'd become mute and ill due to hearing the news about the school shooting or perhaps he just knew some one there.*[lrs928]

*Vivi didn't even bother answering them as she helped yank the cords free. She did mind that her head spun as she clawed at the covers, but ignored it as her bare feet touched the cold hospital floor. She shivered, slightly cold, but didn't stop in her endeavor to be free of this place. She didn't mind that she didn't know this man. Her brother seemed to trust him, so she would trust him as well. She trailed close behind as he led the way out, fearful they would be stopped. She didn't want to stay here, and even though running felt impossible, she would certainly give it a shot if the need arose.* [Wish_Alley]

*Joseph silenced the machines by cutting them off completely. He broke the heart monitor but only shrugged it off. "Time to go!" He said as he opened the door and took Vivi by the hand to guide here. Several of the the doctors greeted Joseph and smiled assuming he was just helping the girl to an appointment or getting her set for transportation home. "Yes, yes see you all tomorrow." He said with a smile. The were free as they hit the night air in the front of the hospital. He laughed, pleased with this escape. That was perfect he said, guiding her to his car in the lot.*

*Alexander checked the chart and continued to ask Metatron his name time and time again. Metatron did not answer. The medication was overwhelming in his virgin (medication wise) body. He could barely concentrate as he dosed in and out of sleep. His body burned from the fever caused by the fall. He had to fight now or he'd fall to far. He didn't want to be human but he really didn't want to be demonic. Alexander gave up on getting the boy to talk and left the room again to get the results of the scan the boy had just received.*

*Damien made it back to his apartment, dragging Nia along with him. He'd meant to talk to her before now about their Marriage but now it was growing closer and more complicated. He barely knew the girl and though he wanted to assert that she was no more than an object he could not lie to himself. His true love, his real love had long since passed. Her name had been Ruth, a human girl, with long red hair. They had met each other before Nia had been commanded to his side. It was the last time he'd run away from his father. The girl had found him and taken home with her for dinner, setting up a place for him to sleep. He spent a good three months with the girl and their family, living a normal life that was scoffed at by his piers. She was 17 and he still looked 17 for the last 100 years. It had been perfect until his father came, killed her family and gave his son the girl's head as present.*[lrs928]

*Fell's little sister didn't remember getting up off the floor. She didn't remember leaving the library. She didn't remember going to the deserted gates of heaven, nor walking through them. She only remembered the unbearable breaking of her heart and her unquenchable desire to be as far from where ever he was as possible. She had only come to her senses after leaping through The Gates and coming to earth. Now she sat shivering in a puddle of something (she didn't even to know what it was) in a dark alley. All around her dark, shiny and wet trash bags were piled. She was sure she heard movement in amongst them and was terrified when she thought of what could be lurking inside them. She could feel droplets of something from above her, but she knew it wasn't raining. She got shakily to her feet, trying very hard to keep from crying. She examined where she was, trying not to look at anything too hard or for too long. She saw a glowing light to her left, and heard murmured voices laughing around the glow. She could see their shadows moving off the dirty brick walls of the alley. Humans. She had never seen humans before, but she knew enough about them to know she had to stay away from them. She had never taken glamor lessons seriously and couldn't perform one now, with her nerves in the state they were. She edged quietly as she could from her little niche, taking special care to tuck her wings as tightly to her back as she could, hoping her hair helped to hide them. She stepped quietly, making sure not to whimper when her feet crunched on a soggy wrapper still containing food, or when they touched something she couldn't even begin to identify (nor want to). She was moving steadily away from the glow and the murmur of voices when she stepped on something hairy. Something that squeaked shrilly, squirming under her foot and bit her. She couldn't move fast enough, nor could her scream have been loud enough to echo the terror that exploded from her body. She fell backwards into a pile of trash, sending rats scattering, crawling over her. She screamed again wrenching herself free of the trash pile and bolted down the alley. She didn't watch where she was going and ran straight into the one of the homeless men standing around the fire in a barrel.* Slow down there missy, whats wrong? *He grumbled through a dirty beard as he grabbed her by the arms. She went even paler (if that was possible) than she already was, as she surveyed his dirty face, grimy, tattered clothes and the teeth missing from his gums. The other men behind him were no better. She screamed again, slapping at his hands and ran in the opposite direction. She was crying now, sobs being held back as her unused lungs pumped harder to accommodate to her frantically flying legs. She didn't stop as she burst from the alley, surprising a couple strolling along the side walk. She dashed out into the street, nearly being hit by a car. She scrambled into the other lane as she felt her hair whip the car's hood, only to nearly be crushed by an on coming truck. She managed to make it into another alley, but didn't stop. Adrenaline and fear powering her small body onward. This alley wasn't straight and she had to turn twice before she found the end. She was only mildly happy that this sidewalk and street was empty. Her adrenaline was slowing, as made it to the bushes lining a parking lot across the street. She crawled into them, not caring about the dirt, or the branches catching her hair or scratching her skin. She was panting, fatigue setting in. She curled into a small ball on her knees, wishing she could go home but unsure of how to do so. She wished Fell was here, and new tears welled into her eyes as she thought of how mad she had been at him. Her head snapped up as she heard a whooshing sound and a laugh from across the parking lot. She froze as she saw it was humans. One a tall man in a suit, grinning from ear to ear, the other a younger girl, in a a robe looking outfit, who trailed behind the man. The girl was more subdued, she seemed tense at first, but as they got farther from the brightly lit building she seemed to relax. The man was dark in the dimly lit lot. The girl on the other hand was brighter, naturally bright. She seemed to glow from the inside, from her very soul. Like a... The little girl didn't need to finish that thought before she bolted from the bushes, barreling across the lot, and slammed into the young girl, sobbing all the while.*

*Vivi was all too glad when they finally left through the hospital's automatic doors. The air helped clear her head some more of the already fading drugs. She glanced at the man who had helped in her escape thinking back on the his words and actions back in the room. She was about to ask about them when out of nowhere something crashed into her. It had hit her so unexpectedly she lost her balance and fell over, instinctively covering the thing that had run into her from harm of her fall. She looked down as she felt tiny arms lock around her waist, and sobs muffled by the fact the little girl's face was buried in her chest. Vivi was only vaguely aware that the current position had made her hospital gown ride up, she was more aware (and rather surprised) that she wasn't wearing underwear. The tiny little thing, that now clung to her like a life anchor, was dirty and bleeding from scratches. Vivi automatically wrapped her arms around the crying girl, protective of those who were hurt as always. She glanced up at the man who's name she couldn't remember hoping he would know what to do.*

*Fell was holding back a string of curses as he filed out with everyone else from the council meeting. They were instructed that all missions were canceled. No angels were to leave heaven. Fell had been planning to find Metatron and help him get his wings back some how, but now that was out of the question. It had been a high order. One that couldn't defied by any angel. He wandered back into the library, expecting to find Hue sulking in his chair, ready to yell at him. He was surprised not to find her, but figured she wanted to be alone. He had work to do anyway, so he made a mental note to look for her later.*

*Nia was confused when Damien had dragged her to his apartment. She was afraid he was going to renege on his comment of being "old fashioned" and take her here and now. She sat on the edge of his couch ready to smash his face in and flee given the chance. She wanted to find Vivi, at least to affirm she was alive.* [Wish_Alley]

*Joseph crouched down and looked the small girl in the eyes. She looked terrified and was a bit of a mess. "Why don't we go take you inside to get taken care of?" He said as he scooped up the girl into his arms. He didn't notice the oddness of how light she was. He was doing what he could to help her out. He carried the girl into the hospital and walked down the hall of rooms towards the nurses station he knew of. On of the room's door was open enough to see inside. Joseph saw a boy trying to escape out the window and succeeding so it seemed. He supposed he really wasn't a boy, he was about 19 or maybe 18, with extremely long black hair.*

*Alexander still making rounds passed by them in the halls in a hurry. His head was stuck in a patience chart reading and muttering to himself about the problems of his newest patience. He hadn't gotten away with only having his sister as a patient as several of the students from the school shooting. His pace was so quick that Joseph looked stunned the man had completely missed him.*

*Damien sighed as he sat down on the couch. "I don't, I don't want to be the one to marry you. It is about time I explained to you. I don't know if you want to do this but it doesn't mater to me. I don't think you should only because of who I am. I can tell that you don't want to be with me and that you care about people. Something that I can not do because it is against the rules." Damien said jumbling up his explanation.[lrs928]

*Hue was sniffling too much to care that the unknown man picked her up. She was used to be carrried like this, and much preferred it to walking, so of course she didn't complain. She had calmed down since finding one of her own kind and felt she could finally deal with the current situation rationally. Between sniffling and blinking away her tears she surveyed the girl she who exuded the heavenly light. She was of above average height, well built, but petit and feminine. Very pretty, but carried herself in the way of someone who didn't know of her own beauty. She had lovely blonde hair, and of course the most resilient blue eyes. She looked somewhat dazed as she picked herself up off the floor straightening her strange outfit. As Hue looked harder she realized the girl wasn't as bright as angels were supposed to be. It was almost like her heavenly light was muted because of some sort of contamination. She puzzled about this as she was taken into the building, not knowing how to pronounce the building's name. She hardly paid any attention to the halls they traversed or the concerned individuals who looked at her. She was lost in this strange place, too glad to be in a comfortable situation to care much about anything else. As they past the open room the man paused, curious about the boy attempting to flee through the window. Hue looked over at him and nearly died of shock.* META-- *Her hand over her mouth as her chimey bird song voice carried around the hall. She couldn't speak his name, not on earth.*

*Vivi was going to protest the idea of going back into the building but fell silent as the man (who's name she still couldn't remember) left without so much as a glance back at her. She followed out of sheer fear of being left alone in the dark parking lot, and not liking the young girl being left alone after she had plowed into her. Vivi let the man lead the way, glancing around anxiously despite the kind faces smiling back at her. She didn't and wouldn't trust them. As they came to the room and the man stopped abruptly, Vivi was too distracted glancing around her and bumped into him. The little girl's out burst made her jump and she glanced into the room. Her knees practically dropped out from under her as she saw the hair of the boy attempting to flee out the window. She shoved past the man to stand in the room as she starred at the boy.* You! I-It is you, isn't it? I mean... your the one I saw then, right? *She said timidly as she inched forward toward him.*

*Nia's eyes blew wide with surprise. She hadn't ever expected that to come from his mouth and it was more than shocking. She blinked at him, then her eyes narrowed as she realized she didn't understand most of what he said.* Well of course I don't want to marry you! I don't care that your the son of Lucifer, I would never marry someone based on status. But neither of us really have a choice, remember? *She said trying to keep from sounding irrate. She belonged to Lucifer. Her family had sold her to him because she was the prime of her generation. The best female to continue Lucifer's family bloodline. She had always wondered why Lucifer had then forced her into an engagement with his son rather than taking her for himself if she was so "prime."* Now what are you talking about? *She said moving on.* [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron spun on the spot and stared straight at Vivi and then caught sight of Hue in the man's arms. His eyes were wide and he found his voice again. "Hu..I you, yes." He stuttered his voice still dark and velvety. With the conversation Joseph slipped into the room with the girl. He set her down and looked at Vivi before grabbing the chart in the door and peaked at it for no more than a minute. "Your suppose to be mute and you don't know your name, I'm starting to think that is a lie." Joseph said. Alexander walked in a few seconds later, dropping his charts at the sight. The window was open and the boy was about ready to go out the window, while his sister and husband along with a little girl.*[lrs928]

*Vivi whipped around at hearing her brother enter the room. She immediately back pedaled into Metatron, pressing herself against him. She never disobeyed adults, especially those she respected, and she was terrified to have been caught in the act of escaping. Hue looked between the siblings, seeing the same light from the sister in the brother, but still with its muted glow. She looked between them and then streaked across the room, wedging herself between Vivi and Metatron. The sister's light was brighter than the brother's and being close to Metatron made her feel calmer, despite his human aura.* B-Brother... *Vivi stuttered.* [Wish_Alley]

*Damien laughed a little weakly and shook his head. "No, we don't have to do this. We can pretend for a little and then make a clean escape. We can have are freedom. I almost did it before. I'm not a monster. Though I may seem like it." Damien said as his face melted into something soft and gentle.*

*Metatron held Hue close to him and thought quickly. He would call Hue his sister and make it so that the two had got separated but he was delirious from the fever. "What are you guys doing? If your going to leave with out authorization then at least take me with you. And you who are you and the girl? What is going on?" He questioned.*[lrs928]

*Hue grasped Metatron as he held her. They were really in a tight situation.* He is a classmate of mine. *Vivi's voice echoed clear through the room.* Joseph was helping me leave. I don't like hospitals brother. *She said smoothly. Vivi was a good liar. She lied to herself that her parents wouldn't beat her if she got bad grades, she lied to herself that she actually loved them, so lied to herself a lot. So what was the difference if she lied to others?* When we were leaving this girl found me, recognizing me from one of the pictures Meta had taken. Hes the school's photographer for the yearbook and the school newspaper. *She didn't know if that was really his name, but the little girl had said it so it would work.* Meta had been out of school for several days. Hes the only one who takes cares of his sister, and she didn't know he'd been taken to the hospital. Joseph-- *She congratulated herself on finally recalling his name.* Recognized the name and helped us find him. We then found Meta trying to escape to find his sister. But everything is ok now. *Vivi said smiling at her brother. Hue was stunned the girl had come up with all that so quickly.*

*Nia blinked at Damien. He was quite handsome without the arrogant mask on. But what he was saying was so... contradictory. But she wanted it. She didn't want to be tied to him. She wanted freedom, freedom from hell. She was about to ask if he was lying when she gasped. The metal band on her right wrist had suddenly constricted and began vibrating, signaling Lucifer was calling for her. And she didn't have a choice in the matter of disobedience.* Dammit. *She growled standing up.* We'll talk about this later. You know I don't have a choice not to go. *She said glaring at the blank metal band that shook her wrist in its urgency for her to answer the call. She contemplated cutting her arm off but had heard horror stories of the limb jumping right back on. She sighed and disappeared.* [Wish_Alley]

Joseph shook his head but gave a convincing smile at Alex. He was truly upset with it all. "See we were just trying to help and plus she is fine. You need to come home Alex. Take the day off and let's go, they won't have a problem with it." He said with a sly smile. The truth was that he owned the place. Alex smiled and set the charts down. "Fine" he moved to Meta and felt him for a fever. The boy was no longer warm, it was safe for him to leave. "let me tell the nurse your going home. We'll take you and your sister home." Alex said to Meta. "Thank you meta said lowly." Alex smiled making his way to the nurses station. [lrs928]

*Vivi knew there would be a flaw to her lie. She tried to keep up the smile as Joseph winked at her and then trailed after Alexander. Once they were gone she whipped around to the 'siblings.'* We have to do something. I know for a fact you two aren't related and I suspect neither of you has a home. I can deal with the school issue, but what are we going to do about your house? *Vivi said looking scared. She didn't want to let this Meta out of her sight. Hue looked between the two, not exactly sure what was going on.* [Wish_Alley]

*Xander being the over protective brother he was now that she had appeared in his life again made his way to his locker. His college Dr. Smith standing next to gasped as Xander opened up his locker to revel scrubs, make-up, perfume, fuzzy pink hand cuffs, and a wide rang of lolita styled dresses. Alexander pulled out a knee length black dress the bloomed out with lace into something that looked like a fancy Alice in wonder land dress. He shut the locker ignoring the other doctor, Joseph was waiting and nearly bust out laughing as he came back with outfit plus matching shoes. They walked back to the room.*

*Meta let a smile pass his lips. "On fifth ave. there are old decaying house. You can tell them I was emancipated and received custody of my 'sister' he said as he set a hand on Hue's head. "She is a friend though so she isn't a stranger. Tell your brother we live there and the house will say condemned. After that we'll find a place." Meta said plainly he was so calm so expressionless compared to when he'd met her. He was suddenly conscious he was barefoot but thankful they hadn't the time yet to change his clothes out.*

*Xander returned to the room and held out the dress to his dear sister.Joseph handed her the shoes. "He's got make up if you need that as well." He said with a laugh. Alexander blushed, he didn't think his sister knew. "I think we need to talk later Vivi. I'm selfish and I'm going to request you stay at my place for the night. I don't want to take you home to 'them.'" Alexander was crying as he looked at her. He had abandoned her and never came back. He had cried for her before but he couldn't do anything about it then but now was different. Joseph took hold of his lover and turned him away. Alexander dropped the dress and Joseph released him and shoved him out the door. "Wait out in the limo we'll be there in a minute." He told Alexander as he forced him to leave.*[lrs928]

*Vivi nodded, thankful she didn't have to lie to her brother anymore. She wasn't comfortable with, not after finally seeing him after so long. Hue looked up at Metatron as he placed his hand on her head. He seemed to have changed with the girl in the room. He'd gone back to how was in heaven, emotionless and boring. She looked at the girl who had moved away and was trying not to look at them. Now that Hue saw her up close she released her light was different from that of a half breed angel. Her light wasn't so much muffled as it was dimmed. She was about to inquire about it when the brother came back in carrying the strangest outfit. Vivi's face went pale before it almost immediately went red. Of course she didn't refuse it and took the shoes from Joseph. Her heart broke as her brother started crying. She didn't blame him for anything, it was his fault then or now. But before she could say anything Joseph made him leave. She watched him go and swiftly collected the dress. She began to untie the hospital gown when she noticed Joseph still standing in the doorway, and Metatron still by the window. She shoved Joseph out and kicked Metatron out with him.* Men... *She said with a sigh and stripped. She didn't have a bra, no that it mattered much, she was about to slip into the dress (grudgingly) when she heard a gasp. Hue was starring at her body and Vivi realized she had forgotten to kick the girl out. He body was covered in scars. Deep, grey and long lines that contorted the skin in odd patterns. Some were round with faded corners like burn marks, some were clean like gun shot wounds, some were hideous and grotesque and the means of how they could be caused were unfathomable. Vivi looked at Hue and covered herself with the dress, she looked away ashamed.* Please look away... *Vivi said in a small voice. Hue turned away. She had seen more that night that she had ever wished to see in her entire life. She would never forget it and never tell anyone about it.*

*Vivi finished and came out feeling like a 10 year old. She walked with dignity though and relayed where Metatron's house was as they went to limo.* [Wish_Alley]

*Once everyone was ready they packed into the limo and drove off. Alexander excluded himself from the group including Joseph. He was sitting in the front of the limo with the driver. He was heaving deep sobs his hands shaking. At his feet were white pills scattered everywhere. He had take a lot quite a few in one swallow and dropped the rest on the ground after getting into the limo. Joseph was frowning as they drove. Fifteen minutes passed until they stopped in front of the faux house. Meta ran out to the house so to play it up. He played it off well enough as Alexander came out of the limo to see what was the mater with the boy. As he reached the porch, his eyes red from the tears. He saw the eviction notice and stopped cold. The house was falling to piece as he looked. "You can't live here! You'll die or get injured and you can't sleep in the streets. Get in the car I'll take you home."Alexander was so quick in his speech that Meta stared at him blankly until it sunk in. He stood moving back into the limo. Joseph shook his head but smiled at the boy but when he saw Alexander his heart dropped. He'd made the driver roll down the glass between the seats. Alex wasn't expecting this as fresh tears rolled down his face and once again swallowing a handful of pills before realizing the window was down. The driver started the limo and they were on their way back but Alexander and Joseph's eyes were locked for a good three of four minutes. Xander turned away in shame and Joseph looked down his heart heavy with fear. Alex knew now his sister had seen what he was, drug abuser. Joseph had thought he'd stopped but he had only stopped with shooting himself up, now he realized he'd moved to the easily excess able medical drugs.*[lrs928]

*Vivi starred at her brother blankly. She knew her brother had just as many problems as she did growing up as they had, but addiction? She had never considered that possibility. She starred at her brother pain coming into her eyes. What had he done to himself in all the years he had been away from her? How many times had he nearly died? Judging from the amount of pills he had just swallowed it was a lot. Vivi felt sick suddenly. Too many things had happened that night and it was all too much. She couldn't look at anyone, least of all Alexander. She barely remembered when the limo stopped and Joseph led the way to the loft. He showed her to her room and said good night. She stripped of her girly clothes and avoided the full length mirrors as she went into the bathroom and promptly threw up.*

*Nia was scantily clad as her heels clicked down he hallways of hell. She never liked it down here. Everything was too cold, or too hot. There was never an in between, you either froze or roasted. She walked into a room and and hid her look of disgust. A sex slave was writhing as it was gang raped, sucking at one of its masters' cocks like a hungry dog. The nameless demons all laughed as it blindly begged for more. She left the room and bit back her comments. None of those demons would ever touch her that way, thats all she should be thankful for. Finally she was in sight of Lucifer's meeting room. The door was open a crack, she was about to enter when she heard that Lucifer was in a meeting. She almost backed up when she heard the words. Lucifer was planning to contaminate heaven. He was going to drive the angels crazy in their prison since he knew if he made Metatron human they would would close the gates and call all the angels back to mourn their loss and build up their ranks. She listened to his plan in horror. She moved slowly down the hallway, then turned and bolted. She had to do something. She couldn't let it happen. There was a balance the world needed and Lucifer was going to destroy it. She didn't see Lucifer's smirk as she ran from the room.*

*The days passed mundanely with Vivi debating if she was truly happy or not. She was able to get Meta and Hue into the school without them asking questions. Though Nia had disappeared all of her friends knew Vivi and that if she asked something of Nia they were to help carry it out. They procured false social security cards and IDs and forged the paperwork needed to get Meta and Hue into classes. No one asked questions when the two kids began coming regularly, they didn't even pay either any mind just for the fact they lived with Vivi the Witch. Vivi was glad for the company they offered, though Meta was silent and stoic, and Hue never shut up. Nia had disappeared after the day of the school shooting and Vivi was worried sick. It wasn't only Nia that bothered her. Joseph had forced Alexander into a leave of absence at work and was forcing him to go to therapy. Alexander threw fits and cried and begged not to be sent but Vivi never dared to question Joseph. She hadn't had the chance to speak with her brother or his friend, both seemed busy so she, Meta and Hue always had the house to themselves. Meta was another thing she worried about. Vivi had vivid dreams of him. Sometimes he looked older with black wings sprouting from his back, sometimes he was as she saw him now smiling and laughing, which he never did. She felt an unbelievable attraction towards him, a nagging connection that she couldn't forget. She often tried to speak with him of it late at night but whenever she approached his room she heard heart wrenching sobs that made her turn back. She couldn't force herself to interrupt him like that. So the days continued as such with Vivi becoming more and more discontented with her current life. One day as the bell for class rang she happened to see Meta sneaking off grounds. It suddenly occurred to her she had never really seen him in class. She always sat in the front with him in back, close to the door. She just always assumed he left early. She snuck out of the school grounds for the first time in her entire life and followed Metatron. She half expected him to go to a strip club or a bar, so it only came as a slight shock as he entered a church. She starred at it for awhile before following him." [Wish_Alley]

*He was broken, his heart constantly pained with the emotions of guilt, fear, and sadness. He felt as though he had betrayed the man who had created himself and everything around him. He should have been more faithful, should have done his job quickly with out straying or letting the emotions break him down. Now the other angels with the exception of the runaway Hue, were being kept above. Locking themselves away from the trouble of the world secluding the pained world to struggle for the first time truly on their own. The world was falling apart. Thousands of people were dying daily and the evil of the world was consuming everyone alive. People were breaking into homes and running a muck. He came to the church everyday confessing his sin of falling, sparing no detail of the truth. He spoke of being an angel and of how Lucifer had pushed him from god. He talked about lying about having a home and having a sister. The one thing though he was surprised to mention was the fact that these feeling had brought about lust and desire. He mentioned Vivi a girl he had met before he fell and now was living with. His heart pounded around her and he wanted to touch her and to hear her heart beat. He was intoxicated by emotion. The father of the church was kind. He expressed his faith that Metatron was being far to hard on himself and that it was all just part of the large picture. What he had for the girl was love and not lust which was natural in the eyes of the Lord.*

*Alexander was at home again. Joseph had left for work and he was free. They had been sleeping in separate bed for the last few nights since Joseph's anger had broken his desire to lay with his lover who did not wish to convey the truth to him. Alexander had cried that first night apart, a punishment that broke his heart but it opened his eyes to what this was doing to Joseph. He couldn't stop though, with out the medication he was seeing things and seeing people that did not exist. He was afraid of them as he saw them in the background of the news on t.v. and in the paper. Alexander knew he was loosing it. The voices were loud in his head, telling him to kill. He couldn't take it! He found himself in his temporarily separate room with a stake knife in his right hand. He was pulling back his long sleeved shirt to reveal the scars his old cutting habit, that only Joseph knew about. He was crying but unable to stop himself from returning back to the way he was. He dragged the cold steel knife across his soft ivory skin. Warm crimson gushing from his left arm as he rocked back forth, reverting back into that man he was years ago when he was still at home with Vivi, his shame that he hid from her and his parents until the found out about the drug abuse and threw him to the streets in the middle of the night. Telling Vivi he'd run away and making him believe that was what he'd done as well. He dropped the knive looking at his bloodied arm the voice satisfied by the vision.[lrs928]

*Vivi stepped into the church cautiously. Her parents were christian and went to church every sunday. As a child they had often threatened her to go, and to sit silently as the creepy pastor said how she would burn in hell if she didn't go to church. Worse memories still was of being alone with the pastor, he was a pedophile, though none of the church goers he preached too would ever even think it of him. He had often cornered Vivi, saying things about how God would damn her if she did not play his little game. She would run screaming to her parents, preferring to take a beating than play the pastor's game. Despite all this she still had a infallible belief in God. Not the church, just God. She knew he was there, she couldn't ever figure out how, but she knew. She knew he was listening as her father had beat her during his drunken rages, or during that time when her mother had lost in stabbed her shoulder, only to turn around and scream about how Vivi had hurt herself and dote in her for the next week like a newborn. He had been there, and it had made the punishments so much easier to bear. She walked down the isle and into the huge catholic church. It was beautiful, even menacing to a degree. Tall arches on the ceiling, with stone pillars lining the isles on the far left and far right. To the front of the rows sat a podium before the frozen statue of the crucified Jesus, behind the statue was the choir rows, and on the wall sat huge pipe organs. She walked slowly staying in the shadows, she still felt awkward being inside a church. She saw Meta slip into the confessional. She looked around frantically as she approached it but none of the silent men walking slowly around paid her any mind. She slipped into the other side silently, gently closing the door. She didn't see the eyes of one man on her as the door shut.*

*The demon slipped through the shadows slowly not in much of a hurry. He knew his charge was not going anywhere, not until he returned. He smirked to himself imagining that puppy dog look Damien always gave him when he returned from Hell. He had the boy eating from the palm of his hands and Lucifer was none the wiser. Of course Lucifer was the one who had assigned him to Damien and all he wanted to hear was that Damien was completing evil tasks worthy of the lineage he came from. But Aym was careful how he lied to Lucifer. Nothing was not the truth of course. Damien had triggered the shooting, but Aym had told him do it. Damien had used the girl to help stray Metatron, but Aym had told him how. Aym didn't mind truthfully, he had plans and the patience to wait for them to come fruition. Not to mention he loved playing with Damien. The boy was a wonderful toy and he did anything Aym asked of him because he trusted him. Aym descended the steps slowly and entered the apartment where his charge resided. As he came into the light a boy of fair skin was revealed. He was taller, taller than Damien, with shaggy dark brown hair, and red eyes rimmed with gold. His face would have been described as an angel's, full of charm with deceiving eyes of kindness. He wore black jeans, a dark brown sweater and dark rust red cow hide jacket, all with cowboy boots. He walked into the living room. It had been several days since he left Damien and he was hoping for some results.* Damien. *He called into the room.* Did you do it? *He asked, referring to him releasing Nia.* [Wish_Alley]

*"Father forgive me I have not confessed my sin's since yesterday. I must tell them again to you though I am sure you know already. I was the Archangel Metatron, and I fell from grace a while ago. To be precises it was on the day the private school had the school shooting. Fell, another angel, and I were sent out to save the lives of a few angels and to call on the shooter with words from God so that he might repent and awaken. Fell was there for back up so I went in alone. I thought it would go smoothly but I was wrong. In the midst of it all I saw Damien Lucifer's son. He was the one calling the strings. I thought it would only Minor disrupt what was to come not completely change everything. I made to move but was hit with the one thing I had never had before, emotions. I can't even explain the sudden severity of that moment. Before my eyes a girl was shot and I couldn't help it. I cried holding onto her. She was for the first time I realized beautiful and I couldn't let her die. So I did something forbidden I saved her. I saved her and then I just stayed frozen crying calling for her to live. So many innocent ones died. I didn't save a soul that had been on that list and the shooter killed himself with no remorse for what he had done I failed my entire mission and then all those feelings vanished. So I kept going I flew off on my own like a fool and that was when Lucifer pushed me and I fell from heaven's grace. I betrayed God so now they've locked up all the angels in heaven. Except Hue she ran away and is living with me at the moment but that isn't the point. The point is that the Earth is being over run by demon's and human's with ill will and no one is left to help them. The world is falling apart and it is all my fault." He began weeping into his hands "And these emotions they've ruined me. I can't even look at the girl I see with out feeling desires that I can to my only knowledge call lust. I don't know what to do father and I know I constantly trouble you with this but I don't have anywhere else to turn too." Metatron said as he continued to weep.*

* Damien looked up and nodded at Aym. He had freed her from his life. She was not his love and nor his her's. Aym was the only one who cared for him. He had been looking after him since Ruth had died so long ago. Aym sat down next to him and he laid his head against him. Damien was a beautiful creature just like his father had been. He often glowed with a light, the light of an angel. Every time he did this his father grew angry he knew his son was worthless and then Aym came along and now he was able to suppress that light, for Aym guided him on how to act and carry himself. He was his friend after all. Aym was sacrificing so much for him he vowed he would do what ever Aym pleased him to.*

*Alexander was breathing hard and shaking he tried to stand to clean the wound and stop the blood but he couldn't do it fast enough. He made it out of the room and into the living room blood dripping onto the wood floors. He lost to much blood and he fell passing out in front of the front door.*

*Metatron left the confessional the silence had killed him. Had the father given up on him already? He left the church looking down cast and not realizing that the priest was standing at the front watching him leave with a frown. The father moved to the both and was shocked when the girl ran into him. He laughed. "Ah, I'm sorry dear." He said with a wink. "I won't tell" He added.*[lrs928]

*Aym smiled softly as he gently stroked Damien's hair. Inwardly he was smiling like a shark. Damien amused him, and he had to admit he was pleasing to the eyes as well. Damien did everything Aym asked of him perfectly just to get the praise he craved from the other boy. Aym pulled Damien closer to him, feigning keeping his distance for he was still considered a servant of Damien.* It was the right thing to do. I know you do care for her in some respect and it would be terrible if she got caught in whats to come next. *Aym said softly stroking Damien's cheek now. He was careful how he touched the dark prince, though he knew Damien was practically begging for it most times. He kept his eyes soft and caring.*

*Hue had come home alone that day. The city didn't scare her now, but she ran home still. She wished Metatron was there or even Vivi, at least having someone with her made it less terrifying. She flew into the apartment building and into the loft slamming the door behind her. She was breathing hard but she sighed in relief as she went into the living room, but froze when she saw the body on the floor surrounded by deep red bloches. She didn't panic as she moved over to the body and gently placed her hands on it. Life still flowed in the veins though slow and faded. She began the healing process, helping to seal the wound on his arm. She could sense alot of damage through out the body, not just physically. When she opened her eyes the wound on the arm was closed and the brother of Vivi was sleeping soundly, breathing normally. She felt drained but satisfied. Sghe was an angel after all, this is what she was meant to do. She curled up next to him and fell asleep.*

*Vivi couldn't believe what meta had said. Metatron, she swiftly corrected herself. She repulsed or even scared, just glad to have answers to her visions. She wanted to catch Metatron but slammed into a priest on her way out. She starred at him in horror and ran for it then. It was already late afternoon and by the time she made it out of the church Metatron was no where insight. She decided to go home knowing he would have no where else to go.* [Wish_Alley]

*Alexander woke up gasping as he realized he'd passed out. He looked at his arm and bit his lip. It had healed quickly thankfully but it was odd. He looked down seeing Hue. He picked he up setting her on the couch as he ran to the kitchen sink, grabbing a sponge. He ran around cleaning the blood from the floor. He finished and ran back into his room, tearing off his sheets and throwing them into the trash and washing the floor before he changed. The house was clean looking beautiful once more as he slipped back into the living room. He brought a blanket and covered the girl up. For a moment he heard her voice calling his name and screaming. He backed away from the girl as the voices in his head started once again.*

*Damien sighed and closed his eyes as his friend calmed his breaking heart again. "I loved her like a friend and if she was ever harmed I think I might fall apart. She has helped me stay whole for so long." Damien feel asleep against Aym. Aym would surely take care of him.*

*Metatron made it home later in the evening, slipping in through his window to make it seem he'd been there all along. Joseph came through the front door a few minutes later greeting Alexander and then lowering his voice as he saw Hue. He'd fallen in love with small girl and had begun to dote upon her like she was his and Alex's daughter.*[lrs928]

*Vivi dashed into the loft and almost slammed into Joseph. She smiled at the man, made some excuse of being tired and slipped off to her room. She didn't look at Alexander as she walked by and went to her room. She went to bed immediately but no sleep came.*

*Hue had enjoyed the last few days. She liked both Joseph and Alexander, Vivi seemed like an older sister and it was nice having Metatron around. Despite this all she still missed her brother. She snuggled into the couch as she dreamed of the library in heaven.*

*Aym felt Damien slump further into him as he drifted into sleep. He smiled peevishly as he continued to stroke Damien's face.* [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron entered the house through his window. He was hiding from the others just as he had done every day so far.Joseph came home a moment after Metatron did. He entered the living room and smiled at his partner and the small girl who was fast asleep. Joseph carried Hue to bed later that night and Alexander walked behind Joseph as they tucked her into bed. Joseph shut Hue's bedroom door and turned to face Alexander. "Time for bed" He said as he took his hand and pulled him into their room. They were laughing again as Joseph threw the boy onto the bed. A sly smile coming across Joseph's face as he undressed his 'wife'. He froze holding Alexander's wrist down looking at the man with out his shirt on. There were fresh cuts over his his old scars. Joseph was rough with his partner as he gripped his wrists tightly. "What have you done again?" he was yelling now, "First drugs again and now this! Cutting yourself again, your selfish practice is going to leave this relationship broken. Do I do nothing to make you want to live? You're going to die!" Joseph's yelling silence Xander completely. Metatron was up again crying in this time.*[lrs928]

(^ Joseph came home twice? ^^;)

*Vivi stripped off her clothes and changed into her pajamas, shut off the lights and climbed stiffly into bed. She heard Joseph enter Hue's room sometime later and tuck the little girl into bed. Joseph had taken an instant liking to the little girl, he did not even question the sort of distance she had with her supposed brother. Vivi heard Alexander's laugh which startled her. She realized she had not heard him laugh since she was a child. She could hear the intimacy between the two as they made their way down the hall and into their room.* Well I should have picked up on that sooner... *Vivi muttered as she tossed back her covers and crept as silently as possible out of her room. She slid down the hall quietly. She was just passing Joseph and Alexander's room, when Joseph's voice rose angerly. She stopped dead. Voices filled with animosity brought nothing but fear to Vivi. She realized just how content she had been with the peaceful atmosphere her brother's return had brought. Now as she heard Joseph shouting at Alexander she backed away from the door the trauma of her childhood resurfacing with painful clarity. Tears brimmed in her eyes. She wanted a family, filled with love and kindness. Yelling made her anxious and afraid. She wanted her brother to be happy, she wanted Joseph to be the father figure she never had, and Hue to be the little sister she had always wanted. Meta... She didn't know what she wanted him to be. But it was an impossible dream. Animosity, anger, violence and abuse followed her no matter where she went. She turned and ran down the hall. Without realizing it she flew into Metatron's room, slamming and locking the door behind her. She leaned against the door, her hair hiding her face, her hands clapped over her mouth. She sank to the floor as her knees slowly buckled. Though her face was hidden the sobs shaking her body were unmistakable.*

*Aym had carefully resituated Damien as the boy slept soundly against him. Rather than sitting side by side, Aym had carefully laid out on the couch so Damien could lay more comfortably between Aym's legs on his stomach. Damien's head rested on Aym's chest, slowly rising with each slow intake of breath as Aym watched him sleep. He was still slowly running his fingers through Damien's hair, enjoying the softness on his fingers. He usually did not dare to get this close to the dark prince, but after a few hours he had tried to move away and Damien had locked vice grips on his wrist and whimpered in his sleep. Once Aym had relaxed Damien did as well. He then shifted into his current position and indulged in touching what he pleased, within limits of course. He always found Damien's clingy attitude endearing in a master pet sort of way. He feigned tenderness and Damien was putty in his hands. Moments like these weren't rare, Damien thrived on physical contact, but Aym kept his distance for self control. Damien was terribly pretty. Aym usually didn't get soft for boys, but he played his act perfectly and enjoyed every bit of Damien's returning glow just for how naive the boy was. He yearned to teach the boy what he was really like. To show how cruel and violent he was by performing unspeakable acts upon Damien's body. He slowly trailed fingers down Damien's cheek, looking somewhat like a hungry animal. His smile fell though, there was no way he could lay a hand on Damien until Lucifer was no longer in the picture, not unless Damien invited him. He needed Damien to hide his plans from the fallen angel until the time was right, then even Damien with his charm would not be of use to Aym. So until then, even though Damien with his pretty looks was tempting he could not show his true colors. He resumed stroking the boy's hair, waiting for the signal that it was time for him to return to hell.*

*Nia paced in her room. The night she had heard Lucifer's plan she had fled to the room panicked of what to do. She had gone through in her head over and over what she could do to stop this. Lucifer couldn't succeed, that was for sure. The world as they all knew it would end if he succeeded. There was no one in hell she could turn to. Her father was probably supporting it, and even if he was not in on it he probably would support it anyway. Damien was being weird and she still had not fully thought of what he had said to her, so he was out. There was no way she would even consider confronting Lucifer about it either. Humans were out of the question as well. The last mage had died tens of thousands of years ago, and even back then demons were still too much for them to handle. Nia considered going to Vivi to see if her visions would give any clue as to the out come so that maybe action was not needed, but that might put her in even greater danger of attracting attention from Hell and it's Oracles. The only person that kept surfacing in her mind was Fell. Fell the angel. She could not believe she was even entertaining the idea of telling him, that would make her a traitor. But the more she thought of how Lucifer's plan was going to go the more she knew she had no choice. She retrieved one of the Hell's ancient artifacts, knowing enough that it was an old communicator from heaven from the time of the fallen. She sent a message to Fell and he agreed to meet her at the gates of Heaven but nothing more. She replaced the communicator and slipped away to the surface and off to Heaven. The journey was simple and calm, but she had a bad feeling. She flew as fast as she could upward and finally the gates came into sight. She was hysterical with relief, she was almost there. Fell leapt for the gates to meet her. He was smiling she thought with confusion, then she remembered the flame he seemed to hold for her. She was almost there just a few feet when it happened. Out of no where black shapes shot from the clouds around her. She did not have time to react before they attacked her. They were shadow mercenaries, Lucifer's private guard. They blinded and gagged her with shadow, they chained her and stabbed her and watched resolutely as she fell beneath the clouds, disappearing. Fell had watched in horror, too far away to do anything. He knew they were mercenaries of hell, and they were punishing her for meeting with an angel. The seal he placed on his emotions was broken right then and there. The seeds of anger, sadness, regret and guilt contaminated Fell's mind. He fled back to Heaven before the mercenaries could turn on him, knowing he could not help Nia now. Little did Fell know though that he had been poisoned with his emotions, and therefore was contaminating his link with the other angels. His unguarded emotions were sweeping like a plague in Heaven, unknown to the residents. Fell was soon sick with insanity and anger, though he would never know it.* [Wish_Alley]

*An invisible death fell over heaven. It started as nothing but now burned like wildfire spreading from on person to another. Greed, lust, gluttony, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride the seven deadly sins opened from Lucifer's box. This was all part of the plan. Had the child been that foolish, to think he would not see her, would not feel her presence. There was nothing that he did not see or so he believed. This was his time and his rule. He was not the left hand of God anymore he was the God, the god of hell and soon he would be God of all. Lucifer was having a good day.*

*Joseph anger turned into heavy sobs as he left the room. The door shut and he feel against it collapsing to the ground as his tears burst into screams of sorrow. It was killing him to see Alexander like that. To know he couldn't seem to stop him. The pain was familiar too familiar. He was going to lose Alexander. Xander just lay in the bed haunted now by the screams of the man he love. They were screams for him. Screams that made him shiver as the voices screamed back in his head.*

*Metatron had snuck out of his room climbing into Vivi's room when he heard the commotion with Joseph and Alexander. He had moved to console her. He was surprised to find her gone for a moment and then she was crying before him. Breaking down thinking that he was not there. "It's okay Vivi"he consoled as he wrapped his arms around her.*

*Damien slept peacefully and woke only when he heard an outside distraction. He jumped his heart beating faster and faster he clung tighter to Aym afraid of what had made the sound. He thought at first of his father. He didn't want to be found this was not suppose to be this way. He was glowing a light he tried so hard to hide it but he failed every time.*[lrs928]

*Aym immediately wrapped his arms around Damien, pressing the boy's head to his chest.* Shhhh. Shhhhhh. *He cooed into Damien's head. He glared at the door. They could have at least contacted his private line rather than scaring them both to death.* Calm down. Take deep breaths, just like I taught you. Make it dim. *Aym whispered stroking Damien's head to calm him down.*

*Viv didn't push Metatron away. She curled against him crying out all her sorrows. She had never cried as a kid over her lost childhood, or when her brother left. She had never cried for not being popular or her lack of friends. But now. Now it was all too much for her. She cried and sobbed horrible visions flooding her mind. She rocked back and forth sobbing unable to control herself.* [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron gasped feeling Vivi's pain. It had not been something he knew he could do and now a light grew between the two until it broke away leaving a light that traced over hims leaving residue that shinned where wings once were. "I'm sorry, Vivi I can't lie to you. You asked a question before. You asked me if I was him and if I don't say something I'm going to burst. My name is Metatron and I was the angel who saved you I promise I won't let you get hurt, I can't" Taking Vivi's jaw he pulled her face to his and kissed her. It was the first time he'd done this and it was purely out of nature. He was seeing flashes of the past. Vivi had been in situations time after time from the time she was small until then. Then suddenly flashes of something before. Something in heaven, was she really an angel to? Yes, her he had felt it before briefly. Metatron pulled away tears streaming down his face as he remembered the pain of their separation again. "Don't leave me again. Not again, please" Metatron clung to Vivi as he held her.*

*Joseph moved away from the door but stood locking it from the outside. He couldn't let Joseph go. He moved down the hall opening the door to Vivi's room and looking at two. "Vivi I need your help" he was desperate, "he's been cutting himself, you some how you have to get it through to him." He said.*

* Damien tried to suppress it but his heart pounded and it continued to glow until it was obvious. He couldn't stop it. There was a voice calling him from far away. Aym's voice was farther away. He was changing, as the voice grew stronger but he was not happy he was afraid. "Aym, Save me please." He called out to Aym trying to slow it down or at least stop it. He was calm but it didn't end and that demon was in the room. He was seeing it all.*[lrs928]

*Aym's eyes became cold. He kissed Damien, hard and fierce. Finally the light dimmed and Damien fell limp in his arms unconscious. The demon was backing away preparing to flee to its master but Aym was there. He beheaded the demon without much thought at all. He watched as the demon disappeared in shadow, dead. Black blood had squirted onto one side of his face. His sword dripped with black blood. He sighed.* Seriously, Lucifer can't get better help? They have to squeal the moment they think they'll get a promotion. *He said cleaning the blade making a tsk tsk sound with his tongue. He glanced over at Damien on the coach. He had dimmed the light for now but he could sense it. Damien had inherited his father's light and it wasn't going to go away. He came over and kissed Damien again, laying a hand over his face.* Be a good boy while I'm gone, don't show anyone else that light but me. *He said as he covered Damien with his jacket. He sauntered out making sure to lock the door.*

*Vivi didn't push him away as he kissed her. She was too shocked to even care about nothing but her own sorrow. Suddenly what he said sank in. She shoved him away without thinking and slapped him hard across the face.* Why didn't you tell me then!? Why did you agonize over it for days confessing at a church!? *She cried, tears still streaming down her face. She didn't understand his pain of falling. She was blinded by her own pain for the moment. She got shakily to her feet still crying uncontrollably. She jumped when Joseph came into the room looking just as broken as she felt. She looked at Metatron again, tears dripping onto her shirt.* I can try... *She muttered brokenly leaving the room.* [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron stood up leaving the room as Vivi and Joseph moved down the hall to Alexander. Unlocking the door with a heavy sigh that made his shoulders slump downward in a melancholy pose. He had been so happy that tonight would better. Alexander had been clean for days, he hadn't expected to see the cuts. It was fear that had caused his temper earlier. Alexander's eyes turned to the door when it opened. He saw only Joseph at first and then panicked as he saw Vivi. His eyes darted for his shirt but it was across the room. He was suddenly aware of the scars. The tracks from when he used to shoot up and burn marks from illegal cigarettes. The long thin and thick scars across his arms from cutting. He felt like a caged animal injured for everyone to stared at. "Talk," He said as he gave Vivi a push into the room.*

*Damien's light had dimid but it was fighting back against it. The call was going out. Calling all angels home in this time of crisis.*[lrs928]

*Vivi stumbled into the room and looked back blankly as the door closed. She had the vague feeling she had hurt Metatron. She suddenly wanted to claw the door down and just run, but she was numb. She looked at her brother, the scars that traversed his body. They would have been so much more visible than her own, which was why he hid behind long sleeved shirts. She starred at her brother her tears flowing freely. As she looked at him multi layered images of different forms appeared, all different yet all essentially the same. All broken, and scared as she looked upon them. Tears welled into her eyes again as previous pain returned to her mind. Pain she had never felt in her current form. She stepped forward to her brother, arms outstretched. She looked like a saint, suddenly glowing uncontrollably.* Why do you continuously harm yourself, brother? Why? Why do you denie what you are? *She fell to her knees before him looking broken and defeated.* Neither of us can denie it anymore, can we? We were never human to begin with, though that thought never occurred until I met him. *She embraced her brother now, not stopping even if he shoved her away.* But even so.... *She cried agonizingly. She buried her face into his chest, tears flowing uncontrollably.* Why!? Why does this happen every time!? You did not do anything wrong! You did not, so why!? Why do you harm yourself every chance you get!? Why can you not enjoy this freedom even if its a prison! Why can you not be happy!? *She cried forgotten memories flooding her mind, catching her off guard. So many tears, so much pain, so much loss. It was all too much, how many more lifetimes could they bear of such agony? She knew the number was very small.*

*Hue sat rocking back and forth on her bed, crying for those that cried down the hall. She was glowing brightly, the call screaming at her to go aid her brethren. She didn't want to go. She wasn't ready to face her brother with the rejection he had shoved into her face. She wasn't ready to face the onslaught of those who would have been worried by her disappearance. She liked it here. She liked Joseph. She liked Alexander. Vivi was so nice and Metatron was actually happy, though she didn't think he knew it. She didn't want to leave back to cheery heaven. She liked this place. She cried harder, clutching her knees and burying her face. She cried harder as the glow reached blinding levels.*

*Aym swaggered down the streets, not bothering to hide his blade or clean the blood from his face. Chaos was erupting all over. Fires breaking out, people screaming as they were chased by muggers and murderers. No one seemed to notice Aym as he crossed the street, not even seeming to notice the car that came mere inches from hitting him as it slammed into a hydrant. The hydrant exploded, showering Aym and the people looting a store close by with water. He felt at home in chaos. The disasters and screams going on around him were like the sweetest symphony ever to be heard. His mind was elsewhere though. He was still pondering the feel of Damien's lips upon his. It hadn't been a bad feeling, no. He actually rather enjoyed it. It almost made him sad for what he would do to the boy when he was of no use any more. He mused if Damien would even remember. Would he be angry? He had asked Aym to save him. It was the quickest way to help suppress the light until a more permanent solution could be thought out. Aym wouldn't admit he had ulterior motives for taking that route, it really was the quickest way. He had wanted to touch Damien for the longest time. He kept his distance, playing the faithful servant, all the while just imagining what he would do given the chance. He smirked. Once Lucifer was out of the way he could have some fun. Damien was a pacifist. He fought how Aym told him to fight, and did as Aym told him to do, all while hiding his precious light from his father. Damien still trusted him and would continue to trust him till the end. Only a little more pushing of the boy and Hell would be his, then he could do away with his mask. He came to a huge apartment building. The doorman was being choked by some old woman. He ran them both through with his blade, practically flying on ecstasy at their garbled screams of pain. Women were being beaten or raped in the lobby, while men had dangerous knife and fist fights over cash and electronics. A child wailed over his mother's dead body. Aym paid little attention as he entered the elevator. The doors closed and all was silent as the stupid elevator music played some dreary tune. He stood like an army soldier, his hands held in front of him, the blade still dripping red blood. Up 5 floors, up 6 more. Finally, just when he was about to burn the sound box playing the vile thing that shouldn't even be considered music, the elevator dinged and the doors opened. He smiled once more as his ears was filled with the sweet symphony of chaos. Naked men ran from rooms as half naked women stabbed at them with forks and butter knives. Some women were even on the backs of their victim choking them to death. He smiled side stepping each scene as he made his way down the hall to the next elevator. This one was shorter, and took him to an empty hall, down which ended in a door. The sounds of the chaos below were barely noticeable. He strode over to the door and took hold of it. He smiled as it clicked open for him and walked in, smiling in a not caring way as he looked around the living room.* I know your here, brother in arms~ *He called.* Or should I call you Joseph? That is what your called now~ *He laughed.* Come out, come out, where ever you are~ *He called once more.* [Wish_Alley]

* Joseph made into the living room pulling his gun out as soon as he heard the sound coming from in there. His name was being called and for some reason it was familiar. Memories flashed in his head. They were of Alexander but he was not the same as he was now. No, he was far different than now. He glowed in those memories. They seemed so prophetic. Like he was once an.. he didn't dare think it but his mind continued and it force him to believe. He was an angel. He stepped into the living room seeing the man at first only as a man and then it hit him like a brick. "Joseph is what you are called now.." he repeated lowly to himself. His mind raced erratically memories flood faster now and it sunk. His name was Xaphen he was a fallen. He dropped his gun. Alexander he had killed Alexander. Metatron walked casualy into the living room and froze. His cheek stinging from Vivi's smack. "Aym" He shouted his eyes wide. He looked so disheveled with his hair let loose and his clothes were winkled. Metatron did not exactly look like himself but now that he knew that some of the power he had was still with him he knew he could fight. " Leave Aym!" Metatron threatened.*

*Alexander stuttered as he breathed heavily. Fear was chocking him now. He had feared she would not except him for what he did and he could hear the anger and the hatred in her voice for what he had done to himself. " Vivi I am sorry. I can't stop! They won't stop. I'm sorry I don't understand who I am. Please forgive me but it won't I have to make it end some how. They are getting louder I'm afraid that soon they will consume me. They want me to do terrible things to others. I see them in my dreams. I'm sorry please I know you hate me for leaving you with them. I'm sorry forgive me for leaving I didn't want you to know. That I did this. I can't escape I don't understand what you mean have I fallen slow low you think I am not human?" He said desperately.*[lrs928]

*Aym's smile faded slightly as Metatron came into view, then he smirked.* Nice company you seem to be keeping these days, Xaphen. *He turned to face Metatron.* Your useless now, so don't you dare order me around. *Aym said, the smirk fading.* You might still have retained some of your power, but you can't do anything to intimidate me. Stay out of our way, and maybe I won't come back for you. *He smirked and jerked his head towards the door.* Lets go Xaphen. Lucifer calls. *He said and strode out the door.*

*Vivi grabbed Joseph's face and shook her head.* No, no, no. I could never hate you. Never. *As she starred at him she realized it. His light was all but non existent. He was totally unaware of it. Frightened, shaky, crying and utterly... human.* You are human. *She said smiling sadly. Her voice almost broke in a sob.* You are.... *She whispered now, still smiling. She blinked away tears.* I do not hate you. I do not blame you. I know it must be terrible, the voices, not knowing what you are. *Vivi said caressing Alexander's face. She seemed older somehow. Wiser.* Tell me what I can do. Tell me. *Vivi said starring into Alexander's eyes.* [Wish_Alley]

*Alexander made himself small as he moved away from his sister. His eyes were gray. There was suddenly yelling down the hall. Joseph was yelling and gunshots were fired. His mind lost all concentration as he wrenched the door open and and ran into the living room. The struggle had been apparent, Joseph had got his gun again and shot at the demon but the bullet had not hit it's mark. It had ricocheted back at Joseph, hitting him in the chest but Alexander did not know that the man would be fine and that he was not even human but a dormant fallen. Alexander screamed as he saw the gaping chest wound. His eyes wide with panic. He didn't not know who the other man was but Metatron had grabbed him firmly by the front of his shirt taking his knife away and now threatening him even though it were pointless. Alexander let out a painfully cry that exploded into light and filled the room until every one was blinded momentarily. "HUE!!!" Metatron was yelling for the girl. The light stopped vision returning and Alexander was laying against Joseph chest that was now healed. His hair was no longer blond but white. Joseph was grim though as he pulled away he no longer looked the same. There large black feathered wings protruding from his his back he looked darker as he rolled his lover off of him so he could stand. "Aym it is getting late." the awakened Xaphen said. Alexander slept to week to wake. There were feathers every where. Four snow-white-wings were folded against Xander's back. They were stained red from blood. The blood was his own a whole now in his chest far larger than Josephs had ever been was there. It was made not by gun by sword long ago. He was cold but death would not come unless he truly awakened in that form he could never remember existed because death would come instantly. He was just a sleeping angel awake and alive when suppressed as human but near death when he was himself, Azraeal. He had been a strong angel and his blood gave life to the dead.*[lrs928]

*Vivi heard the ruckus too late to be of any use. She was looking down the hall, her still mostly human mind fearing the shouts and gun shots. Hue answered Metatron's call, running from her room, Vivi right behind her. Vivi grabbed the little girl as she caught sight of Joseph's collapsed body and shielded her just as the light blinded everyone. She looked up starring in horror at her brother's angelic form.*

*Aym lost focus long enough for Xaphen's subconscious to try and take action. He heard the gunshot and moved before it even came close to hitting him. He didn't even blink as Joseph collapsed. His eyes narrowed as Metatron came at him, yanking his sword from his hand and grabbing him by the front of his shirt. He was yelling for someone, like it really made a difference. Suddenly Aym's face turned into a murderous smile, his eyes glowing menacingly. He grabbed the hand Metatron used to grab his shirt, squeezing with such strength the hand made a sickening crunch. Then he punched, breaking the once powerful angel's perfect nose. He punched with such force that because he was still holding Metatron's wrist his arm was pulled from its socket. He starred down satisfied as Metatron fell to his knees before him. The light flashed then and it took a few seconds before he was able to see again. He blinked a few times and caught the dark shapes of a girl shielding a child. He cocked his head looking at them, the girl glowed with an angel's light while the child might as well have been a lamp with her angelic light shining so brightly. He smirked satisfactorily as Xaphen stood up, his fallen form restored.* Took you long enough. Can't believe you let that subconscious of your's shoot me. *He half snarled the last bit. Metatron gave a pathetic sob of pain. Aym starred down at him, his face resembling that of a man watching a puppy whimpering beneath him.* Too bad. I would have loved to kill you if you were still an angel, but now... *He tossed Metatron's crunched hand away from him like a maggot.* Your not even worth my time. *He said growled as he landed a kick into Metatron's ribs. He was sure he heard at least five snap, a new record, he thought with a laugh. He looked up at the blond haired girl shielding the little angel child. Vivi was shaking and crying as he starred at her, but still she stood between him and Hue, trying to seem defiant and failing miserably. Aym cocked his head at her looking thoughtful, then looked at Xaphen.* Really some interesting company you seem to be keeping here. Not that it matters. *He said smirking at Vivi with an evil glint in his eyes. He almost doubled over laughing as she scrambled a few steps back.* No. It doesn't make a difference. Theres no way that any of you can survive this, so theres nothing a half awakened angel, a runaway brat and a half fallen angel can do. Nothing. At. All. *He said his smile fading to emphasis the point with a murderous gaze at her. Vivi was trying to hold back sobs. Aym glanced down at Metatron and casually stepped over him and took hold of Azrael's body, dragging him by the hair.* Guess we should take something to show you weren't completely inactive. *Aym said casually as he dragged Azrael across the floor and out the door.* We're late enough as it is and I have more important things to do than this. *Came his voice as Vivi sank to the floor, clutching Hue to her as she sobbed.*

Drip.

Drip.

Drip.

*It was dark. She wondered if it was death or not. She didn't even know how long she had been here.*

Drip.

Drip.

Drip.

*She wondered where she was. No... Who she was. She couldn't remember.*

Drip.

Drip.

*She didn't remember anything. How she came to be here. What was before that? Was there anything before that? She couldn't remember anything but the darkness.*

Drip.

Drip.

Drip.

*Each sound pounded on her ears. Her head hurt with a suffocating pain. Her whole body hurt. The pain was so immeasurably severe she couldn't imagine it ever fading. Tears ran endlessly from her eyes.*

Drip.

*Who was she? Where was she? Why was she here? Why was she suffering? Why was it dark? Would she ever leave? Would the pain ever go away? Didn't anyone miss her? Weren't they worried? Was there anyone around to miss her? Why was she in so much pain?*

Drip.

*She could never leave this place. She knew that much. She could never leave. The pain would never go away. She cried silently until the darkness swallowed her.*

Drip.

Drip.

Drip.

*In her mind a voice called to her. Calling her home. Calling her to aid. But she couldn't hear that voice, the darkness ate the light of its call. It would never let her go.*

Drip. [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron cradled his broken wrist. The light had thrown his mind into the past. He had never been given the ability to hold memories of his own. He only had ever remembered what his master had chosen for him. Now his world spun backwards. Vivi she had always been in his life. He had felt before so secretly they had kissed and hide in the heaven until they were found out. Xaphan had attacked Azrael and their cover had been blown. It tore their relationship apart and she was cast down to Earth to keep him focused. The master had looked pained that day as he took away his emotions and memories. Since then the majority of his missions had to do with Vivi, to protect and guide her. "We are going to die." he said loosing hope for the first time.*[lrs928]

*Once Vivi heard the ding signaling the close of the elevator, she jumped forward. She slammed the door with shocking force, locking it, throwing the chain into place and dead bolting it, not that it would do any good if they decided to come back. She was panting against the door trying to recover her breathing and make the tears stop. She turned around, pressing her back to the door and slid down it, trying to hold back sobs.* W-What just happened? *She said holding herself as if to keep from breaking apart at the seams.* Demons just took your brother, who seems to be one of the angels cast down from heaven. Who would have guessed? *Hue seemed to be the most calm of them all, though her voice sounded small and the slightest bit shaky. She walked over and took Metatron's crunched hand, not minding the blood. She knelt beside him and kissed the hand. Slowly the bones seemed to right themselves, his hand ballooning to its original size, the normal color returning.* You really are human now, aren't you Metatron? *Hue said smiling up at him with sad eyes. His broken nose was staining everything with the blood that dripped down his face. She gently placed a hand over it, a soft light signaled the healing process. Vivi wrapped her arms around her knees and watched as Hue moved on to heal his ribs. Her tears were slowing, but she couldn't get his words out of her head. Were they going to die? She looked out the window to see smoke rising in several areas of the city, orange and red glows at the base of the smoke plumes. Sirens could be heard everywhere and Vivi wondered if the police were getting things under control or not. She looked back at Hue and Metatron just as the little girl righted his dislocated shoulder. She had so many questions, so many needed answers, but not a single one could come to mind as she watched him. Metatron. He was achingly familiar. Flashes filled her mind of his constant form, always there for her, and it made her feel guilty for slapping him before. She stood up and walked over to him. She towered above her, a silhouette lit by the glow of the fires in the city.* I have a lot of questions... But none of those matter right now. I don't want to sleep alone. *She whispered, fresh tears dripping down her face. She dropped into his lap, wrapping her thighs around his waist and her arms around his neck. She buried her face into his chest, shaking. Hue watched the two while wishing she could speak with her brother.*

*Aym dragged Azrael's body down through the tunnels of Hell. Blood and feathers littered the floor in its wake. Aym was careless with the body, no, more like uncaring. He let the knees drag on pavement till the fabric was worn away and skin beneath was scrapped practically to the bone. He had dropped the head several times, not even minding as it hit the ground with a sickening sound. The grumblings under his breath at the weight of the body by this point got louder.* You sure know how to pick a heffer, don't you Xaphen? *He growled. Finally he came to his destination, the cells of Hell. He threw the body into the closest one like it was a rag doll, and slammed the cell door. He pulled out a cloth and wiped his hand as if he had touched something that was festering with maggots. Two subordinates came up and he gave them a deadly glare.* No one touches this body but the Dark Lord, understand? If you fail in your duty I'll feed you to Cerberus! *He growled and strode down the hall. The stupid demons immediately bumbled into place standing at attention. Aym vanished and reappeared before Damien's apartment. The door opened automatically as he twisted the handle. He stepped in, closing the door and smiled at his still sleeping toy. The light was still seeping through to some degree, but for the most part his spell was holding. He crept over, gently lifting his head, he slid under placing Damien's head in his lap. Once more he resumed his stroking of Damien's hair, unfazed by the night's events. He took up his tender mask of the good friend and servant while twining his fingers through the snow white locks.* You really are a good boy. *He whispered in a barely audible breath.*

(I'll do the part with Nia after a small time skip) [Wish_Alley]

*Damien woke and his eyes became wide as he looked up at Aym. "What, where did he go? Did he find out? Father, no, he's going to find out." He sat up pulling away from Aym. He realized then how ill he felt at that moment. He almost threw up on Aym. Pushing away he stood and stumbled forward. The light for a moment grew intense, almost blinding. Then it just stopped and he collapsed on the ground and began to cry. He was shaking at that moment, staring forward. He was crying as a sudden sickening feeling of despair washed over him. There were voices, new voices, once that were eating away at his soul. They were screaming filling him with fear that only made him even more ill. An inner battle for his soul had begun.*

*Xaphen stared at Azrael's body, he couldn't stop himself from looking. There was something still there. He didn't want to lose the man he'd loved but sacrifices had to be made. There would be others but still that stupid human part was trying to convene him to help him, to love him.*

*Metatron wrapped his arms around Vivi and closed his eyes. "Hue," He pulled away from Vivi a little. "Get over here I don't want you to be alone either." Metatron said as he held out a hand.*[lrs928]

*Aym was slightly annoyed as Damien pushed away from him, but he didn't push his luck. He could sense the turmoil raging inside Damien and it was addicting. He found Damien far more appealing once the disgusting angelic light went out, and he silently slid down to the floor near him. He was inches away as he stopped and inhaled deeply. He sighed silently with content, all his frustration melting away. It was the purest form of chaos, one's battle with the mind and soul. The waves wafting off him were pure ectacy. For once he didn't bother with restraint as he wrapped his arms from behind around Damien, pulling the boy to him. He pressed his face into Damien's hair near his ear and breathed as deep as he could, nuzzling the soft hair. He was kind and gentle as he hugged the boy, now wafting his favorite form of drug.* Hush. Hush. *He whispered into Damien's ear like a lover trying to soothe his partner's pain.* No one will find out. I handled it. Just like I always do. No that you don't want to know ever has to, so calm down. *He said taking another deep breath. He knew what was wrong with the boy, his father's darkness and angelic light were waging war on each other for dominance. It was understandable, but Aym didn't want it to end. He could have eaten Damien right then and there as he continued to breath in the addicting smell.*

*Vivi's head snapped up as Metatron pulled away. She felt guilty for excluding Hue, but smiled gently at the girl. Hue starred at the two, tears finally forming in her eyes. It wasn't her brother, but they might as well be family by this point. She came forward and wedged herself between the two, pressing her face into Vivi's bosom as the girl embrace both her and Metatron. After awhile they all laid out on the floor, sandwiched together, Vivi hummed some familiar tune as they all drifted off to sleep.* [Wish_Alley]

*Damien awoke it was another day of uselessness. He was alone at the time, locked away from the world in his home. He'd passed out again as the light forced it's self out and back in. He was starting to forget hours at a time and some times he woke with blood on his hands he knew was not his own. He hated this. Why was there so many options. His father had been pleased the last few days, telling him he'd caused so much chaos. He couldn't remember what he had done and the majority of the time he found himself home again, lying in Aym's arms. The man was trying to save him and he felt like he was not being fair to him. He heard a knock and opened the door. His eyes stayed steady on Aym and he began to weep into the man's chest. He'd barely been awake enough to focus and did not see that his clothes were covered in blood and his hands stained red. He threw his arms around Aym and as tears fell from his face he clutched onto the man. Crying, Damien was crying again and begging for help but there was something else. He had not seen Nia in days and she had been the one friend besides Aym that he could talk too.*

*Metatron had been waiting for Vivi to get home from school. She was an hour late and his mind was thinking only of the worse. He hadn't been willing to let her go and had refused to go himself, after all his knowledge was much higher and school seemed a waste of time. He spoke nearly every language and was only unfamiliar with the human literature, movies, and music and for that he had discovered the internet. He was starting to believe that it might have been a demon's doing. Hue had went to school leaving him alone for hours over the past three days. He had learned he could heal extremely minor injuries and produce white flames that could leap to four feet but was cool. He was useless for the most part.*[lrs928]

*Aym smiled tenderly as Damien came to him. His little drug had become like a lost puppy over the past few days. In the past few nights Damien had passed out several times, only to re awake several seconds later. Damien would then leave the house and go on a bloody rampage. Lucifer had instructed Aym to watch over him during these times, and step in when necessary. Damien always went for hours, then just stopped, returned home, and was his naive self once more. It was very arousing to watch. Aym would have never guessed his little puppy could have had such vicious passion hidden inside him. Damien's addicting waves of turmoil was the only thing that could placate Aym after nights like these. He would hug the boy, hold him, rock him when necessary, all the while cooing that everything would be alright. It wouldn't be of course. Lucifer's darkness was winning inside him. The light barely ever showed itself now, not that Aym complained about this. He held Damien now, picking the boy up into his arms as Damien clutched to him, crying. He sat down on the couch, placing Damien in his lap. He had been especially eager for tonight. He was finally going to break the news to Damien about her.* Hush, hush. It'll be alright. *Aym whispered, stroking Damien head. He kissed his forehead.* What did I tell you? You don't want your father to find out about your light, so embrace whats happening to you. Your blacking out like that because your suppressing it. You don't have to be evil like your father, that's what I'm here for. *He said to Damien. He was working his face up to seem tender and concerned that Damien was causing such harm to his inner self.* Actually... *A thought had occurred to him. Lucifer's darkness was obviously winning inside Damien. That was apparent. Aym just needed to push him over the edge. He already had plans set, but with the current development he could easily move his plans much farther along. Lucifer was marching on Heaven soon. He would be gone for days. Damien could lead a revolution in Hell. He was just a figure head for Lucifer anyway, but he was still widely respected in Hell as Lucifer's son. He just needed a push in the right direction from a certain blond haired tramp. Once the residents of Hell learned that Lucifer had used an innocent daughter of Hell from a well respected family they would rage and follow Damien to the ends of the earth. He just needed a push. He took hold of Damien's face, pulling it so it was inches from his. He worked his face to look worried and sad.* I have news of her. Nia. *He whispered softly trying not to get distracted by how hot he found Damien with his face and hair splattered with blood.* It seems your father did something that was... cruel, even by my standards. He used her as a decoy for his plan to take Heaven, then murdered her when his plan succeeded. Only the higher ups know. I heard one of them speaking of it. I'm so sorry, Damien. *He whispered, tears brimming in his eyes. He embraced the boy, to emphasize that he felt his pain.*

*Vivi had gone missing after the first day. She never would have believed it could happen. She cursed her stupidity as her mother scrubbed her body with scalding water. She was still wearing her bra and underwear and was trying not to cry out from pain as her mother yelled at her running the rough sponge over her skin. She never could have thought it possible. That they would find her....

She had left for school like always early the morning of the next day. She really wasn't up for it at all, but figured she should at least make an effort. Truthfully, she knew school was closed. No one was out on the streets now, not after all the crime and murders and rapes being reported. But she had something she needed from the school. It was the best place to hide it, and she hadn't had a chance to grab it since her brother had returned to her life. Hue had gone along with her, all too eager to spend time alone with her big sister. Vivi enjoyed the company, even though she wished the girl would stay home. Thankfully it seemed the city was mostly under control so they didn't encounter anyone dangerous. Of course the school was empty. No official report had been made, but it was vandalized and completely empty. Hue didn't seem surprised either. She wanted to go to the local hospital and help people. She was still an angel and Metatron had helped and instructed her upon how to become invisible. Since there was so much chaos around, and pain and people getting hurt, and no angels seemed to be helping, Hue had a job to do. So she left Vivi, her form disappearing. Vivi didn't stop her and entered the school. Papers littered the floor, with trash and broken glass. She was sure she saw blood in some places, but didn't pause to look long enough. She made her way down halls where the destruction was all the same. Graffiti, broken chairs, broken glass, locker's smashed, doors off the hinges or hanging barely attached. There was a dead body at the end of one hall. Vivi had caught something bright out of the corner of her eye and turned to find a body illuminated by light at the end of a hall. The body was obviously female, her naked skin making the walls glow. Vivi could see deep colors of red and blue. It was all so fresh flies hadn't even begun to cover the corpse. She had just starred, for what seemed like ages, unable to look away, yet feeling sick to her stomach. Finally after what was really just a few seconds she ran the rest of the way. Thankfully her locker was one of the few untouched. She spun the lock, and pulled it open, cringing as the sound echoed off the walls. She retrieved the only item occupying the locker. A gold locket. The chain was thin, both ends ending in a small oval shape, that attached three small pearls before ending in the locket. Vivi looked at it for a time, not bothering to close the locker as she walked away. As she left the school, placing the locket around her neck, she avoided that hallway. She was only vaguely surprised as she found someone at the school entrance and continued out, then she heard that voice.* Vivian? *The voice said with a southern accent. Vivi finally focused on the woman before her. Blue eyes looking shocked, pale skin, with straw golden bleached blond hair piled on her head in a messy bun, wearing an old southern victorian styled dress. Vivi froze on the spot. She was trapped.

Her mother had cried and drabbled on about how happy she was that Vivi was fine, all the while locking a vice grip on her daughter's arm and steering her into the limo. Her mother hugged, near to tears of how happy she was to have her daughter back, and that her father was going to be happy as well. Vivi was no fool. She knew this woman was lieing. The first day was the worst. The moment they were through the door of their white columned house her mother had slapped her with enough force she could have thrown up. Then screamed and yelled at Vivi as she clawed away at the girl's clothes, ripping them off right in the front room. Vivi couldn't stop her from taking the locket either. Her mother dragged her to the bathroom, flipping the water to cold. She pushed her daughter down into the tub and pulled out a bottle of dye. She began dying her daughter's hair and deep pink, cackling as the color bled down the drain. She pulled back, the pink dye staining her cream white dress, looking almost like blood. She smiled like a maniac down at Vivi babbling about how Vivi had been a bad girl and dyed her hair. She laughed as Vivi coughed, then lunged forward, almost gouging out chunks of her cheeks with her hard nails.* No dinner for you. *She then yanked her daughter from the tub. She took Vivi, stark naked through almost the entire house to her old room. She threw Vivi inside, saying her father would deal with her bad behavior when he got home and slammed and locked the door. Vivi was left naked and shivering in the old room she had hated as a little girl. She hadn't occupied the room since she was 10. It was still decorated with a small bed, and disgusted pink and white lace and frills. She was left there for the past 2 days. No clothes. No food. She had had to use the bathroom in the small basin that used to be filled with water. Till now she hadn't left the room. Now her mother was scrubbing her skin with boiling hot water, saying Vivi needed to be cleansed of evil spirits. She then yanked her daughter from the tub, angerly drying her body. She dressed her like a little girl, pulling her underwear up and buttoning a gray nurse looking dress on her. She dragged her daughter to her father study and threw her inside.*

*She opened her eyes. She was used to the stark white room now. It didn't bother her. She had woken up in this room a few days ago. It was a white room, with a white bed and white toys. Very simple but she had come to like it. The man hadn't come today she was sad to see. The man called himself her master. She was his prized possession, a beautiful flower, he called her. He talked with her, and patted her head, and she would sit at his knee as he praised her for being a good girl. Once he had even made her take off her white dress. He didn't touch her, he justhttp://elftown.eu/wiki.html?name=Freedom_Fall&edit=yes looked at her with a blank expression, then told her to put her clothes back on. He never asked her to do it after that. He always kissed her before she left, but never anything else. She wasn't allowed to leave the room, just sit and play with her toys. Other people with boobs like her (they had told her they were boobs when she asked) often came to help her bath or give her food or bring something for her to use the bathroom. She didn't mind any of it. She just wished her master would come see her.* [Wish_Alley]

*Damien's eyes became like two glass orbs, his tears stopped. For a few moments he was like a freeze frame and then Damien's eyes narrowed down. The look on his face were like those hours in which he had gone on rampages. He sat up looking at Aym as he pushed away from him. He seemed to notice now the blood on his hands and licked it away. His eyes looked at Aym and he pulled his face closer to his. His nails dug into Aym's shirt and scratched his skin. The way his face his was contorted threw dark shadows across his face. A black aura extended out of his body and moved like flames around him. His blue eyes became consumed by darkness until they looked like black orbs. "I want him dead. Let every one know the news and bring me her father. We will fight. I'm going to have a little fun.*

*Alexander sat in the room and looked up at Vivi. He was sixteen shuttering and only dressed in a long shirt that was his fathers. He was bruised his arms bleeding and marks from needles were scattered around him. He looked stiff as though his legs and lower half ached more than his arms. He looked filthy. His eyes became wide. "Don't look at me Vivi! Please, please don't see me like this. I'm sorry," he was crying in Vivi's room. It was a moment from the past. His father had attacked him and out of fear he'd taken the lamp in his fathers study and smashed over his father's head. He ran into his sister's room knowing she was gone, he held himself and found the stash he'd hidden in his sisters stuffed animals that had been once his. " I'm sorry I didn't mean to kill him." He said just as he had wished to that day, that day that he ran away from home.*

*Metatron could wait no longer. He stood knowing something was wrong. He knew now the possibilities and chose to search Vivi's old home first. Perhaps she needed family now or maybe they had sought her out. It took an hour by foot to reach the southern styled home and he frowned. It was ridiculous looking in this modern place. He had passed a dozen horrific scenes and took the time to help the living. He knocked on the front door.*[lrs928]

*Aym could barely repress the smile that threatened to invade his lips. Though the turmoil was gone, resolve taking its place, the darkness enveloping Damien was just as good. He could feel Damien's breath on his face. The clawed fingers that raked his chest might as well have been scratches of love. Damien was beautiful when he was like this. Aym could have jumped him as he licked the blood from his hands. Damien was just inches away from him. Though the boy's new resolve would have been frightening to others, Aym found it beyond seductive. He knew he was going to regret not getting his chance to satiate his desires with Damien in his current form, but he couldn't push his luck. He was a servant of the Dark Prince after all. Touching him could result in the loss of an arm or worse. He hid his glee and took hold of Damien wrists.* As you command, my Lord. *Aym said, trying to hide the note of longing from his voice. He disappeared right in front of Damien. He spread the news through Hell. It traveled like wild fire. Everyone was on Damien's side. Lucifer had gone too far, he needed to pay. Aym watched the rally as they took up arms, chanting Damien's name. It was all going perfectly. The only problem was Nia's father and brother were nowhere to be found.*

*Vivi fell to her knees in the dark room. Heavy curtains blocked most of the light. The room was lit by nothing but a dull blue light. But Vivi could have described the room in perfect clarity. The leather couch that sat between two untouched, dusty bookshelves to her right. The wall of dusty trophies, animal heads gotten during his hunting trips, and the picture frames from his war days to her left. The two leather armchairs before the desk that were angled for a perfect view of the man behind the desk. The desk made of a dark shiny wood. The back of the swivel chair that faced her, the glow of a cigar as the man puffed at it, and the rise of smoke as he exhaled. Vivi could have even described the man even though she hadn't seen him in years, she knew he was just as unchanged as her mother had been. But she didn't look at any of these things. No. She was starring at the ghostly image of her teen aged brother who begged her not to look at him. She could see the memory of that day in her vision, the ghost's presence fueling it. She saw her brother watch from a window as her mother dragged her crying 7 year old self from the house, putting on the good mother act. She watched as he followed the limo with his eyes as it drove away. She heard as he heard their father call to him in a drunken rage, and watched with terror as he unwillingly went. She screamed with him as their father tore at his clothes, touching where no father should touch. She cried with him as struggled futilely as the man did as he pleased. She died with him then, as he used the last of his hope to smash the lamp on their father's head. She felt his pain as he ran from the room to numb his senses. Her vision returned and tears flowed from her eyes as she realized. Her father was the reason her brother had left. She couldn't have known this because that day her mother had taken her back to the asylum, and she wouldn't have returned home for 3 years. Her brother left for his safety and sanity. There was no way he could have taken her with him. She held back sobs as she starred at the crying ghost. Anger rose with the bile in her throat.*

*Nia's father was a well built man, like most demons of Hell. He had dark skin, even darker long hair, and almost pitch black brown eyes. He wore the robes of his house and walked the halls like he owned them. His eyes lieing to his dignity. He was scared to death. His son was a younger version of his father, with short hair, and eyes of a golden brown. He wore armor, a sword at his hip, bearing the emblem of his house. He walked next to his father scanning the halls for anything that could deter their plan. They had both heard of Aym's lie that Nia was dead, and that Damien was leading a revolution against his father. Both knew there was nothing they could do to stop it. Aym had always been the one to "control" Damien, and when anyone tried to speak against Aym, Damien spoke in his defense, his father standing by them both. No one would dare oppose either of them, and both father and son knew that with Aym holding Damien's reins he wouldn't back down from this. Nia had been one of his closest friends, he would make his father pay. They doubted even showing that Nia was alive would help either. "Nia" was no long there. Lucifer had erased all her memories, and altered her personality. She was now his shy little pet that he kept locked away for no one but him to see. Her own father hadn't even seen her in years. But Lucifer had trusted him with Nia's location, threatening the man to never touch his pet. Now Xaldin knew he was breaking that trust and the consequences that would befall him were going to be painful.* Are you sure it is this way, father? *Demetri muttered to his father.* Yes my son. Your sister is near. *They continued down the empty halls to the less occupied area of Hell. These halls hadn't been used in ages. Now Lucifer used them to keep prisoners locked away, or in Nia's case, treasure locked away. They finally came to the room at a dead end. Demetri stood guard as Xaldin went through the door. He was greeted by a sickeningly bright, white hall. He followed to the end and entered a door. The five occupants all stopped dead what they were doing. Nia stood surrounded by doll maids, who were putting lotion on her body. Nia herself looked at him, but it only looked like his daughter. Her eyes were large with the innocence of a child, yet her body was that of a mature young woman. She blinked at him not even concerned with her attendents fear.* Get out! *He snarled at the doll maids and they scurried from the room leaving their belongings. Nia turned to face him, not even worried that she was completely naked. He came to her and dropped a white dress over her head. She raised her arms once she saw what he was doing and stood in place as he pulled the dress down.* Who are you? Master said nobody but him and the boob ladies would ever come see me. *She said. Even her voice sounded innocent and child like.* Your... *It hurt him to say the next word.* Master... He told me to come and tell you a story. *He said softly, smiling down at her as if she were a five year old. Like most children who loved stories her eyes brightened and she smiled brightly at him. She started bouncing up and down.* Really!? Really!? Master said that? Tell me a story! Tell me! *She said tugging at his robes. He was filled with nostalgis.* Alright. Alright. Sit on the bed. *She beamed at him and leapt to the bed, swinging her legs as he sat next to her.* Now don't interrupt. This is an important story. *He said smiling at her.* Will Master come soon? *She asked cocking her head. He tried to keep his face straight.* Maybe. Now listen my dear. *He coughed.* Once, long ago, a demon met an angel. *He started softly. Her attention was rapt on him.* [Wish_Alley]

*Damien's rampage was beautiful as he stop all electricity in the city, plunging it into darkness. He made the stock market plummet into despair. People were breaking into stores for food that they would soon find had rotten. He was becoming the four horsemen by himself. He was going to be the ruler. His dark eyes frightened people but no more so than the children as he stepped into a hospital on the kids ward. He saw Hue but ignored her, he set a kind hand on a child's head, smiling. His grip grew intense and his nails embedded within the boys head. He squeezed until the boys skull collapsed inward and blood splattered the walls. He attacked each child until their bodies littered the grounds around him. He smiled feeling the power welling up into him. He went after Hue now clawing at her face , he threw her across the room into a wall. "Let that be my warning. I am the king of hell." Damien sputtered.

*Xander's younger self was crying nonstop until Dick spoke. "Running away, dirtying your clothes, and dying your hair. I did not raise you to be a slut drug dealer like your brother. The way you are headed you will wind up dead just like he is. Starved on thee streets. I should send you back to the that asylum and lock you up before you completely disgrace this family I have worked so hard to create." Dick stood cornering Vivi as he towered above here with power. He was a large man with a heavy accent and a thick smell of alcohol. He took her face into his hands and squeezed so that pain would come. The window to the office shattered into pieces. The figure that stood in it's frame was darkened by the back lighting. Dick was furious as he stared at the man. He had long hair and was bare foot, glass slicing his feet to pieces. They struggled coming at each other with nothing but fists or so Metatron had thought. It wasn't until they were practically touching did he see the gun in Dick's hand. He fired the gun at point blank and it tore through Metatron's abdomen. Metatron stumbled back but then came at him again this time he took the man's letter opener and drove it into Dick's heart. The man croaked and feel back onto his desk. Metatron was bleeding every where as he collapsed when he made it to Vivi's side. He smiled at her.*[lrs928]

*Vivi starred in horror as her father came at her. She scrambled back as he cornered her. She was sobbing uncontrollably. Her father was going to kill her this time. He had only given her minor punishments as a child. Cigar burns, beatings, spankings that bordered on rape. Her brother had always received the brunt of his wrath, while she received their mother's. But now, with only a part of her brother's soul crying with her, she was going to die. She knew it. She felt him squeezing her jaw, the pressure preventing her to breath. She closed her eyes trying to keep back her tears, and thought of her brother, and Hue, and most of all Metatron. The sound of glass made her father drop her against the wall. Her eyes shot open, and the breath she drew in made her cough. There standing in the window, not even minding the glass slicing his feet, was her savior. Always her savior. Metatron. She starred dazed as he and her father met punching. She couldn't even utter a sound as she saw the gun or even as it fired ripping through her beloved like a knife. The never ending tears started again as she watched with a blank face as Metatron drove the letter opener through that man's heart. The darkening world seemed brighter as Dick collapsed to the floor dead. Yet as Metatron fell to his knees before Vivi, smiling, that brightness seemed so inconsequential.* You fool. *She finally breathed reaching out to caress his face. She smiled back at him, tears still dripping down her cheeks. Her eyes were alight with memories long forgotten. Memories of Paradise. Of spending long nights with him by her side. Of when she was cast from Heaven. Of all the lives and suffering she had endured to this moment.* You stupid fool. *She whispered as she kissed him. He collapsed into her arms and she held him, humming an old tune from her time in Paradise. She placed a hand on his gushing wound, smiling so serenely like this gaping hole in his body was nothing. Healing flames licked at the blood and flesh, willing them to stop bleeding and net themselves together. She could feel his pain fading as the wound slowly healed itself leaving behind nothing but drying blood. The flames moved to heal his feet as she gently stroked his face. Once she could feel all the wounds healed, she kissed his forehead and laid him on the floor. They would have all the time in the world to be next to each other, there was something more important now. She stood up and approached the crying ghostly form of her brother. She smiled at him and held out a hand.* The source of your pain is gone, so why do you still cry? Do you not wish to let go of your pain and come home? *She said smiling at him. The pink color bled from her hair, so it was once more its brilliant blond color. The ghostly form stopped crying and seemed to notice her for the first time. It took her hand and stood up. In a flash of light the form was gone and in Vivi's hand was a bead of light. She was starring at it fondly when her head snapped up. The door flew open and there stood the mother of her current body. A truly vile woman, her soul black as black. A dark aura radiated from her, nearly as bad as the father's of her current body. The woman stood there, her eyes irate as she took in the scene. She was swinging her arms like an cave man, a butcher's knife in one hand. Her hair was hanging limp and in her face, her clothes hanging irregularly from her body. Her words weren't even recognizable as words as she advanced like an animal on Vivi. Then Vivi saw the glint of gold around the hagrid woman's neck. Without thought Vivi took the bead of light in her teeth. She produced a golden sword in her right hand and a ball of flame in her left. With a swift movement she set the sword alight with fire and with the practiced moves of a sword fighter, rushed forward, went down on one knee and jammed the blade through the woman's heart. At first her face was shocked. She sputtered up blood and then as her body began to dissipate into ashes her face looked calm and relieved. She let out a sigh of content as her body disappeared. Vivi smiled as she caught the contented sigh of the woman. At least one innocent had been saved today. She was Uriel after all. One of God's Archangels, better known as the Fire of God. She couldn't fail in her duty just because she had been cast from heaven. Vivi caught the locket in her left hand. Still holding the flaming sword she flicked the locket open and kissed the tiny mirror inside, using her tongue to push the bead of light to the surface. She pulled away and smiled as the mirror glowed, the image of a now smiling 16 year old Joseph waved before the mirror was nothing but a mirror again. She clicked the locket shut, placed it around her neck, let the sword disappear and sat down next to Metatron. She placed his head in her lap and gently combed her fingers through his hair as she hummed.*

*Hue weeped in a crumpled pile as Damien left her. She cried as the smell of blood permeated everything. She covered her bloody face with her hands. Her physical pain was nothing. That would heal in a matter of hours. No. That couldn't compare to her emotional pain. Why couldn't he have just killed her? Why did he have to hurt the children? The innocents? Why? She cried holding herself as she weeped on the floor of the bloody hospital room.*

*Fell slashed through another one of his comrades as he vaulted through the gates of Heaven. His bloodied wings snapped out, spraying blood as he dove from the gates. Tears filled his eyes as he dropped like a rock away from his home. He knew none would follow. They were too busy obeying their Lord. The clouds faded away and he saw the earth. He could only think of one thing as he looked at the huge expanse of land in all directions. His heart was racing, his mind still influenced by the contaminated connection with his kin. His rage, sadness and guilt over Nia's death had faded quite swiftly as a more pressing issue had invaded his mind. Hue. She was missing and he was agonizing over a demon girl he barely knew? He was sickened with himself. He was feverish in his pursuit to find Hue as the city she would have landed in came into view. As the building roofs became recognizable he leveled out, swooping over the buildings and streets, not even noticing the turmoil that plagued them. He could see Hue's trail. She was still a new and untrained angel, she didn't know how to hide her angelic trail. He followed the ribbon pink trail all over the city. Finally the trail ended at a hospital. As he stepped through the doors he didn't register the blood or bodies covering the entire vicinity. He followed the trail to the children's wing, not even flinching at the dead bodies of children who would never live their lives. He heard her crying before he saw her. He moved swiftly and found her crumpled over the body of the youngest of the children. She looked up at him as he came near and he stopped dead. Her face was covered in blood that didn't belong to the child. Terrible gashes still covered her face though it was apparent they were healing. Her eyes were bloodshot, and snot ran down her nose. Her lip looked swollen like she had been punched, her eye slowly beginning to lose its swelling. All his rage disappeared. Any thought of Nia was vanished. His mind immediately severed the contaminated connection with Heaven, but his mind was too preoccupied with what was before him to even begin to think about what was happening. He ran to Hue. He scooped her up, lifting her clear off the ground as he hugged her and cried with her. He sat her on a clean bed taking hold of her face he healed the gashes and swelling with lightning speed, cleaning away the blood. Hue was crying, bawling about how sorry she was that she ran away, that she would never do it again, as she tried to pull his hands away from her face so he would hold her again. Then he kissed her. Really kissed her. The silence was almost deafening as Hue finally caught on and slid her arms around his neck, knotting her tiny hands into his hair. He deepened it, slipping his tongue between her lips, leaning over her small form until she fell back onto the bed. Hue was crying still, but so was Fell. He had been such a fool. He had been trying so hard to deny his love for her that it had nearly eaten him alive. He had fallen in love with her the moment he had laid eyes on her as a tiny baby angel. That was the day his emotions began. He was sickened with himself for the thoughts that plagued his mind as he watched his baby sister grow. He was in love with her. He wanted her to be his and his alone. But he knew it was wrong. She was so much younger than he was, by millenniums. He had grown up calling her his sister. A siblings, even if they were technically related by blood. She was his sister, and he wanted her in a way no brother should. It was even worse the day she developed the same love for him. So he distanced them both. He allowed Hue to be spoiled rotten by others while he stayed as far from as he could from her, even though it was so painful to bear. One day Hue kissed him. He was had been so close to making her his that day if better judgment hadn't taken over. He started taking missions with Metatron. Missions that would keep him away for years in Heaven's time. But to his dismay his feelings for her never truly faded. He would come home to see how Hue had grown and only came to want her more. He was so thankful the day he met the ever eye catching Nia. She was cute and they got along fairly well. Truthfully the bond was nothing but friendship, but Fell forced himself to see deeper into the relationship than what was really there. He forced himself to fall in love with Nia and took even more missions for the chance of getting to see her. He was such a stupid fool. None of that mattered now as his feelings for Hue overflowed, none of the problems or possible consequences mattered as he leaned on her, kissing her.*

The demon was very handsome, while angel was very beautiful. The demon found the angel near a small pond. He threatened her, like demons were supposed to do. But the beautiful angel just smiled at him, saying all he had to do was ask and she would leave. The demon became spell bound by the angel, but he did not ask her to leave. Instead they talked. They talked about each other, about their homes, and their friends. They talked for hours until the sun set. The angel said she had to go, so the demon insisted they meet the next day. The angel smiled her mesmerizing smile and agreed, then spread her snow white wings and flew away. *Xaldin said, as the little girl listened with an amazed expression.* [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron was tired, his eyes heavy like lead. He'd been trying to stay awake. Was he dreaming now? The vision before him was Uriel, how could he have forgotten that face. It was of the one he'd shared everything with, one long ago. He was still smiling up at her like a love sick puppy. "I found you," He said in nearly a whisper. "But then again you've always been there in front of me." He laughed a little as he began to wake up a bit more. Strength was slowly seeping back into him. As a human he had slowed down a large amount. He looked disheveled, there were stubbles on his normally perfectly smooth face and his braid had come undone when he was struggling with Dick. He sat up taking the liberty to do the one thing he had been waiting to do. He pulled Uriel's face to his and kissed her softly-sweet lips. He chewed a little on her lips as his hands explored her hand. (french kissing is so unattractive to me..)) His kisses were strong but not too hard to bruise her. The little astral energy he retained from his angelic form seeped out of him and mixed with Uriel's. He felt it leave his form and he shuttered at the cold of his human body. He couldn't stop though as he moved his kiss down her neck. The door to the office opened again. Polished Italian shoes edged into the room followed by Joseph. He wasn't Xaphan he was just Joseph. "So this is home or was. He hates this place but I know part of him must be hear. Where is he?" Joseph asked, his wedding ring gleamed in the dim light. "Am interrupting something?" Joseph asked.*[lrs928]

*Uriel smiled serenely at Metatron as he kissed her. She didn't push him away, despite his awkward movements, only giggled and helped him along. She caressed his face with one hand as he prolonged the kiss. She felt their energies twine for the slightest moment before Metatron's was gone. She was going to kill Lucifer for this. For taking him away from what he was bred for. She wasn't ready to give his energy back yet, and it wouldn't stay for long anyway, so she didn't see the point. She raised her chin as his lips moved downward. Her eyes fluttered as she gripped his forearms. They were about to close completely when she saw the door open. Something close to a snarl rumbled through her lips as she gently pushed Metatron away.* What do you want? *She growled at Joseph as she got to her feet bringing Metatron along with her. She glared at him with regal coldness.* It is none of your business what we were doing. You are not my brother in law, even if you do look like him. *She said taking hold of Metatron's hand.* And no, you cannot have him. It is not your job. *Vivi snapped as she pushed past him out into the hall.*

*Hue laid against his chest as she lifted her small leg out of soapy water. She giggled and jerked it back in as he ran his hand from ankle to knee, and knee to thigh. He smiled at her addicting chimey laugh and kissed her neck. His euphoria was running thin by this point, but he still found Hue could lift his mood in any situation. After a rather embarrassing realization in the hospital room they both retreated with bashful thoughts in mind. He almost did it. Right there. In that room of murder. He was ashamed of himself on more than one level now. Hue had suggested this place, which seemed mostly untouched by the disasters plaguing the city. Fell had charmed the building so only angelic beings could get inside and see it. He knew it wouldn't hold forever, but he just needed to get his head on straight. He had taken a shower alone at first, but stepped out to find Hue weeping in front of the bathroom door. She begged him not to leave her, and this seemed the best solution to keep her happy. A bubble bath for the two of them. It was terribly embarrassing as much as he found it enjoyable. But Hue was happy and that was all he cared about for now. Actually that wasn't all he cared about. He had fallen into Lucifer's trap. He had believed Nia had been killed, he had been poisoned by his emotions and had poisoned his brethren. He hadn't told Hue yet. She seemed so out of balance from what had happened in that room that being with him was the only time she seemed sane. There was nothing he could do about it now. He just needed to give her time. Guilt welled as he imagined what harm had befallen her without him there to stop it, he embraced her, kissing her neck. Hue smiled and let him.*

The angel and the demon met at dawn every day after that, and parted at dusk. They talked more and soon it got harder to leave one another. Soon they admitted their love to each and didn't part from one another that night. *The man said. His eyes looked sad.* Is this a happy story? *Child Nia asked softly. The man looked at her and shook his head.* No my child. It is not a happy story. *he said in a whisper.* [Wish_Alley]

* Metatron stood swaying a little on his feet as he examined the man before him. Joseph shook his head not believing how just a few minutes had completely poisoned the girl. "I'm not like that, please understand me. I didn't want this to happen. I have to get him back! This was all a mistake. Please, remember the real me. Don.." He was still in the door way and he slamed against the right side as his form flashed to Xaphan and then back to Joseph as he fought with himself. The truth was that even though he was a demon it was not what he wanted to be or how he wanted to act. He was bound by contract, ugly chains not seen by the eyes restricted his heavy body. It had been Metatron who had put him to sleep in his human for, it was out of pity for his old friend. Xaphan had been tricked into murdering his lover by Lucifer when the war began. He'd been false information about Azrael being a fake. He said that the real one had been taken captured by the new invading force.(to bad he hadn't realized it was Lucifer himself) Streams of false images corrupted Xaphan's mind and when he saw Azrael next he saw only a demonic creature. He drove his sword into his lover. The false images shattered as Azrael gasped, looking at the man with pitiful eyes of confusion. The struggle now was never ending now that the fallen angel with in Joseph was fighting the evil that had poisoned him back then. The chains the bound him into doing Lucifer's ill will. Metatron had followed her into the hall and took hold of Viv's arm. "Stop, don't mock him. He cares but he is struggling." Metatron's fell back to Joseph who was flickering between himself and Xaphan like a shotty light bulb. He had collapsed to the floor. "Run.."His voice quivered "Lucifer is coming." Metatron pushed Vivi forward. "Time to go."He uttered.[lrs928]

*Vivi tried to keep patience in mind as Metatron went back to Xaphan. She wished Metatron could see. She wished he had his angelic powers so he wasn't so stupid and controlled by his heart as he was now. She still held his hand standing back from Xaphan as his form fluttered.* He cannot help, not with the struggle he is going through. He will only cause problems and lead Lucifer straight to us every time. Even if he wants to help, he just cannot. It is not his job. He lost the right the moment he let Lucifer taint him. *She said coldly. She had never really forgiven Xaphan for turning on her and Metatron after he had murdered her brother. She knew it wasn't his fault, that Lucifer had corrupted him, but she still couldn't find it in herself to ever really trust him again. She wasn't surprised as he muttered the words to escape, that he was on his way.* No kidding. *She muttered under her breath as Metatron led the way down the hall at a run.*

*Hue lay with her head in Fell's lap, snuggled against him, content and truly happy for the first time in weeks. She was in an over sized t-shirt she had found while looking for clothes for Fell in Joseph and Alexander's room, and panties. She could feel Fell's fingers running through her hair. She didn't know what had made him change his mind about being with her, but she wasn't complaining. He was silent but that didn't matter, they had never needed words to communicate. She also understood her brother had a lot on his mind. Being with her seemed to calm those problems to a degree, but she didn't bother him as he was deep in thought. Fell was absently running his fingers through Hue's damp hair, so many things running through his mind he didn't even notice his other hand was running over the curves of her body. Shoulder, ribcage, waist, hips, thigh, knee, shin, back up to the knee, thigh. He only noticed when his fingertips were graced with the touch of silk. His head snapped down where his fingers had slipped under the over sized shirt to reveal half her panties. That wasn't what had shocked him out of his thoughts though. He wasn't ashamed that he had done it. He enjoyed the feeling of the silk on her body. He sighed out of frustration and dropped his head, resting his forehead on her shoulder, as his fingers lingered on the silk. Hue giggled her infectious laugh not the least bit worried where his hand was.* I already told you, I'm your's. Don't hesitate to touch whats your's. *Hue giggled.* Thats the worst part, I wasn't hesitating. *He said with an angry laugh. Hue cocked her head but didn't look back at him. It only made things worse for Fell that she wasn't even the least bit worried about where his intentions could go.* It didn't seem that way. *Hue said, and Fell just imagined her making that pouty face she always made when she was upset or being stubborn (and that he found unbearably cute).* I was taking my sweet time, and hoping that God might possibly strike me down before I got any further. *He said sadly, looking at his hand willing it to move though it wouldn't.* Thats such a mean thing to wish for. *Hue said in a small voice, with the smallest break in it. It took all of Fell's will power to keep from cussing out loud. He had upset her.* I'm sorry Hue. But... I still can't get over it. I mean... We are technically siblings. We grew up together. Not to mention your so much younger than I am. How can I not feel guilty and hope God smites me for what I have planned? *Fell said with a sigh. He'd given up trying to make his hand move.* And what do you have planned? *Hue said trying to suppress more giggling. Fell sat back up with a sigh and pulled his hand away finally, running it through his hair. He leaned his head back and closed his eyes.* Nothing I can carry out with whats going on currently. *He said in a whisper. He jumped when Hue sat up and stood up with her back to him.* I know things are bad. I know something has happened in Heaven, and that you were the cause of it. *He just starred at her, trying hard not to gulp to confirm her suspicions.* I know things are bad because Joseph did something bad to Alexander. Neither of them were acting like themselves, and now they're both gone. *She was shaking her head and his heart was breaking.* Vivi went missing a few days ago, and Metatron is human. *She had already told Fell about her 'family.'* Things are getting worse and worse on the mortal plain. But... *She turned to him finally. She was smiling as tears ran down her cheeks.* I can't seem to make myself worry about any of it. *She said as he starred at her.* I just want to stay with you. In this building. I want to cuddle and kiss, even if you won't touch me like I want you too. I just... I want you to hold me. *She said holding out her arms. Her face had broken on the last words and Fell realized just how young Hue truly was. Just a child who had never seen war, or death, or fought a demon, or even been in a fight. She was suffering so badly and he had been worrying about other things. There was nothing he could do right now for the world he had helped to kill. He could only help this girl whom he loved more than air itself find comfort for the time being. He held out his arms for her and gave a soft smile.* Come here. *He whispered. Hue collapsed into him, wrapping her arms around his chest. She curled into his lap and he embraced her. He ran his fingers through her hair, whispering words of comfort into her ear. He felt satisfied as her grip around him loosened and her posture relaxed and she slumped against him, asleep. He leaned his head back on the couch and slept along with her.*

The demon never saw the angel again after that. His love for her never faded, but he never would have imagined what came next. One day a messenger from Heaven sent for him secretly. The messenger gave him a blond haired, dark skinned baby girl that radiated an angel's light. The messenger said it was the angel's child and that the demon was the father. She had died giving birth to the child and out of respect for her last wish, Heaven made sure to deliver the child to its father. The demon was shocked. His beloved was dead, and he was now a father? He was consumed with grief as the messenger left him, but as the demon watched his daughter. His beautiful baby girl, as she laughed and reached towards him, he could feel no sadness. His beloved had wished for him to care for the child. He could not mourn her death, and he couldn't blame a child that looked exactly like his beloved. He announced the child to his land, as the daughter of his wife and all were over joyed. It was the first time a girl had born in the demon's family in centuries. *He said smiling as Nia's attention perked again. She had wavered when she heard it was a sad story, but that didn't seem to deter her attention and curiosity. His smiled faded though with his next words.* Unfortunately, the foolish demon would know have guessed what would happen later.... *He said. He could see the events in his eyes vividly still to this day.* [Wish_Alley]

*"You've forgotten forgiveness. He is still are friend and if it were you I would give up everything. He loved him and he is still trying to free himself. The pain of lose is far to hard. I have fallen from grace Will you not let me continue to fight. Have I lost my rights as well?" His voice was strong and commanding but among it still held the gentle intelligence. He stopped out of breath and fatigued as he came to the front door. He threw his arms out keeping Vivi from view. Standing outside the door was a man whose long white hair bellowed in the wind like firelight. He was an old friend but a trader in truth. "Lucifer," Metatron spoke gently to the old friend. Lucifer's smile was pure and glowing with a malicious light that flared into an abyss of darkness. "Hello, Metatron, I see everything is ready." He moved close to him smiling. "You've done a wonderful job for me. I must thank you, so today I'll make you one of mine." Lucifer's hand came to rest on Metatron's cheek. Metatron was still out numbered in strength even with Uriel. Behind Lucifer were the faces of old comrades ready to kill. "I can tell there isn't a drop of astral energy with in you and I know you must miss your wings." Lucifer was whispering into his ear. "Alright, then I will join you." Metatron replied with out any fluctuation in his voice. Lucifer looked taken aback but then smiled and drove his hand into Metatron's chest. Chain's came from the ground and wrapped around Metatron dragging down the now smiling Metatron. The other demon's vanished after draging out Joseph from the back of the house. Joseph's face was beaten and bloody, red hot chains tied him down as the took him back. "So then Uriel I will leave you alone again!" Lucifer smilled as Metatron was gone and then he himself vanished.* ((Suprise..)) [lrs928]

*Vivi starred in horror as Metatron was drug under ground by the chains. She dropped to her knees clawing at the ground, screaming incoherently for him to come not go, to not leave her, and to come back. She barely registered as a beaten and bloodied Joseph was drug past her. She looked up at Lucifer. She didn't comprehend his words. She knew he was taunting her for her tears. She barely noticed him disappearing as she crumpled to the floor, weeping.*

The demon had a Lord. A man who ruled the land. The Lord eyed the child like a hungry animal. Little did the demon know that his beloved had belonged to another long before she had met him. That man had been his Lord. He knew what the demon's daughter was, and who her mother was, and he was determined to have her. He blackmailed and threatened the demon til the demon had no choice. He gave his daughter to the Lord. To this day he still regrets it, but he had no choice. He wanted to live to help his daughter when the time arose. Like now. *He smiled at Nia.* Come my dear. Its time you leave this place. *He said taking her hand. Nia's eyes became saucers as the man took her hand. She starred at him and tried futilely to pull her arm free.* No. No! *She screamed.* No! Master told me not to leave! Master! Master! *She screamed.* [Wish_Alley]

*Lucifer walked in the door his frame casting shadow into the white room. "We had an agreement and I've tried to be decent. I will not tolerate betrayal." Lucifer said as he drew out his sword. Lucifer face became systolic as he turned to face his son. The boy never came here, fearing the room more than anything else or so he had thought. "Nor do I but here we are, father." His words were lined with poison. "It is my time to rule." He thrust his sword into his father and his father returned the favor. It looked like a draw but as dark as Damien's aura was when he attacked he suddenly became different. Lucifer smiled forcing his sword in deeper. "Yes she is still alive." Lucifer said but Damien cried and then it changed. There was a wind that seemed to suck the air from the place and the light grew from Damien like an exploding star. His hair glowed, turning into white flames. His eyes were a crystal blue. Sixteen wings glistened like diamonds. Lucifer's breath sucked in. Damien looked like his mother and there was a sudden visual familiarity between Nia and himself. There was a ripple of light that swept over hell. It reached Nia shattering Lucifer's hold and hit Metatron who's new demonic aura reversed suddenly making it easier on the Archangel who was struggling against the demon's to regain his wings. Xaphan chained to a wall was forced into a permanent slumber as he became Joseph again. The problem laid when it reached Azrael the part of Alexander in the locket glowed and became an orb that whizzed away. There were hundreds of them coming from places all over. They were sucked into the ground and hovered above Azrael. They entered him and his eyes opened. Blood spilled out and he cried not in pain but at awakening. "Stop it, no, I have to sleep!" He yelled out as his hands held onto the bars. He slid on the floor, to weak to walk. His hands barely cold hold onto the bars and eventually he slumped against the bars. Joseph awoke, his cell across from his lover. His heart began to beat strenuously against his chest. "Alex, Azrael!" He struggled against his chains, screaming as he watched the angel struggled for breath and strength. The screams were chilling and echoed for an eternity as their was silence from the angel. The gates of heaven slammed shut and locked, the angel turned to Alexander's form. He looked so innocent as the wound of Azrael's became his own. Joseph was bleeding where the chains cut at his wrists and ankles but the chains would not give way. Xander's lips paled and then became blue and cold. His soul had no where to go so it only stayed in the body. Damien's eyes closed as he dropped to his knees bleeding. "Sister wake up." He murmured as his eyes closed. He slipped off of Lucifer's blade. It was not death but his awakening was tiresome and he feel into sleep vulnerable. Metatron shuttered feeling the sudden chill of death but still feeling.*[lrs928]

*Nia's eyes brightened as her Master entered the room. She smiled like a giddy school girl as her father picked her up from school.* Mast-- *Her cry of joy was cut off as Damien appeared. She was frozen with fear as his dark aura licked at the white walls surrounding them. She wanted to cry out, to throw herself in front of her Master, but Xaldin grabbed her, shielding her from whatever blow may come her way. Nia screamed but the cry was lost as Damien and Lucifer stabbed each other, and Damien was lost in light. The light purged every corner of Hell, even so much as to the light the way for Joseph's soul fragments to find their way. She was blinded as Damien's back exploded with wings. The sight was beautiful, and triggered something deep in the back of her mind. Something that had long since been buried since the time she was born. Something she didn't even know she had. The light touched her and she remembered what she really was. A half demon, but a half angel, gifted with God's light rather than Hell's darkness. She was the best of both worlds, an even balance, the symbol of what the universe was meant to be. She was the pinochle of yin and yang as a white and black wing emerged from her back. She heard Damien's request as both he and Lucifer collapsed.* I have returned, brother. *She whispered as she went to him. She kissed his forehead as she pressed her hands on his chest, sealing and healing the wound. She smiled at Metatron but had no time to relish in her newly awakened angelic abilities as her father grabbed Damien, and took her hand, spiriting them from the room. Blood dribbled down Demetri's mouth as he watched his father take his sister and run.* Yes. Save them, father. They're the only ones who can reverse whats been done. *He whispered on his last breath.*

*Aym cursed as the angelic light filled Hell. He knew what had happened. He had miscalculated. Lucifer had returned early, and knowing Damien in his current state, he had found him. Of course taking revenge on Lucifer for "killing" Nia wouldn't awaken his angelic power, it would be seeing Nia alive. Though these were bad developments he could already feel the light wane, and fade. Now was his only chance. He knew Damien and Nia would escape with the help of that traitor Xaldin, but now he could take Hell with minimal loses. He ignored Xaldin as he felt him take Nia and Damien through secret passages of Hell leading to the surface, it would waste too much time intercepting them. He flew coming before Metatron. He produced a sword, whipping the handle over Metatron's head. He let his voice ring over Hell.* Now is the time! Lucifer has killed Damien! I have wounded him! It is time to take Hell back! *He echoed.*

*Vivi starred with tear filled eyes as she watched the light filling the sky. She jumped as the pieces she had collected of Alex's soul emerged from the locket joining the other fragments in the sky. She could feel the angels awakening, as well Metatron regaining his wings. She smiled, but tears still dripped down her cheeks. She felt like an outsider. She stood up and walked silently away, unconcerned with where her feet were taking her.*

*Hue and Fell stood by the window as they watched the light. They looked at each other. They had felt Heaven close, now what were they to do?* [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron dropped like led to the ground. He had eight wings, black as night. His hair was pulled back again and there was a collar around his neck that was different than before. His soul still belonged to Hell. This was Lucifer's joy. With no where to go Metatron was a prisoner. His arms were bound almost automatically and his calves the same. A mask hid his eyes as he was knocked out.*

*Joseph was crying as disslocated his shoulder in attempt to become free. He wanted to hold Alexander, to change this problem. He heard heavy breaths comming down the hall and he gave in. The figure who came though was hagird, his cheeks sunk inward and one eye was open. The other eye was sewn sloppily shut with black thread and his mouth was the same. His one eye was turquoise and his hair was white just barely falling to his shoulder. It was a mess of matted dirty hair caked with blood. His face was young but covered in cuts, dirt, and blood His clothes were old and they were torn. He was so thin the clothes were falling off. He huffed pulling himself along the wall. He had only one gray wing and the other was missing. He stopped at Joseph's cell and looked at him from his one good eye and then looked at Alexander. "So it has come to past. Destiny is upon us. I am Oriel, it is time to go." The one eyed angel grabbed the bar and it melted. He moved forward touching the chains and they too melted. He steadied himself as he grasped Joseph's forearm and the two vanished. They landed beside Vivi and Oriel pushed Joseph forward. "Tell her," He demanded.*

*Damien was out cold, his body was longer. He was nearly 6'8 now that he had awakened*[lrs928]

*Aym was overjoyed as Metatron and Lucifer were dragged away. He had done it. Hell was his. Of course there had been some set backs. Nia had escaped, as well as Damien, and both had regained their angelic powers. Xaldin was no big deal, he could be taken care of no problem at any time. But now there were two more angels running around. Aym sat on Hell's throne contemplating, completely unaware of Joseph's disappearance.*

*Vivi wasn't sure where she wandered after leaving the house that had never been a home. Her feet took her where ever they saw fit. She moved slowly down the sidewalks, not the least bit concerned of meeting any unsavory characters. The insane humans that had once inhabited this beautiful city were now gone. They had inflicted all the damage they could on each other, and then moved on to spread the destruction. Vivi could sense very few lives still left in the city, most of which were demonic or angelic signatures. But none of this mattered to her. She didn't understand the numbness in her heart. Why it had taken over now. She knew Metatron hadn't abandoned her, but she knew what him going with Lucifer meant. He could never be her's again. The numbness shifted to pain and she clenched at her chest where her heart was, too hurt to shed any more tears. She glanced in the direction she could feel Hue with... Fell. She remembered him. He had suffered the consequences with she, Azrael, Xaphen and Metatron. He had been their supervisor of sorts then. She could only imagine the punishment he must have gotten if he hadn't been cast from Heaven like she, Azrael and Xaphen. Even though she felt the need to see the little girl, she didn't want to face Fell. She felt separated from them some how. She was an angel, but her body was still human. Her emotions conflicted with her angelic instincts telling her to fix this. Another painful jab at her heart. Her fingers dug harder into the skin over her heart, she was sure she felt warm blood, as if she could remove the pain by gouging her heart out. She could feel two "new" angels emerging somewhere in the city. One felt oddly familiar, but she couldn't place it, therefore she blocked the feeling. She resumed her aimless walking for what felt like hours. Finally she came to stand before a familiar church. The church she had first heard Metatron confess he was an angel. It was amazingly untouched. It was still standing at least, and the stained glass windows remained intact. She walked through the doorway, one was thrown open and hanging by one hinge, while the other was still closed. Inside many of the pews were shattered in half, wood splinters littered the floor. Many that were still intact were shoved against the pillars lining the wall. Tall candelabras were crunched and candles intermingled with the wood splinters and glass. She paid little attention to the debris on the floor as her eyes fixated on the crucified form of Jesus. She didn't even notice as the glass cut her feet as she crossed the room to the altar. She descended the small steps and collapsed to her knees before the figure. Even here the pain wouldn't stop. She wondered why. She felt the forms appear before her her and barely turned her head to see Joseph. Though she wasn't all that surprised to see him. She was more shocked by Oriel. She vaguely questioned herself when was the last time she had seen him. She cocked her head as Oriel pushed Joseph forward.* Tell me what? *She whispered blinking at him, surprisingly docile compared to their last meeting*

*Nia was tugged along by the hand as her father ran, half dragging her. Damien swung limped over his shoulder, they ran for the surface. Nia wondered why her father was doing this as they emerged in muted sunlight. He laid Damien down, did q quick check before turning to his daughter. Before Nia could say anything he grabbed her, hugging her so tightly he was lifted off the ground because of their height difference.* Thank God. *He whispered, kissing her hair.* Thank God. *He said gently swinging her from side to side. Nia was surprised her father could say the Lord's name. Most demons couldn't. He placed her back on the floor and cupped her face in his hands. He kissed her forehead.* Thank God Damien reawakened. He gave you back your memories and granted you with the abilities you should have had when you were born. *He said brushing hair from her face.* I can't stay. You have to find more angels, I know not all of them are trapped inside Heaven. If I stay with you they'll find you. Stay with your brother. *he whispered as he kissed her forehead again.* Wait, dadd-- *She whimpered, tears flowing down her cheeks but it was too late. he was gone, vanished in a puff of smoke and shadow. She stood there shaking, sniffling, her hands clenched into fists. It was all just sinking in. Her entire life. That her mother was an angel, that Damien was her half brother (she had kissed him once!! She thought in horror), that she was a half angel, that she was a half-demon, but mostly what Lucifer had done to her. Taking away her memories, almost using her as a substitute for her mother, keeping her like a pet. She sank down next to Damien, trying to hold back sobs. She took hold of his hand and pressed it to her wet cheek, willing her best friend to wake up so she wouldn't feel so alone.* [Wish_Alley]

*Joseph fell to his knees feeling the sudden dread. He felt like lead as he lifted his face to meet hers. His right arm hung lose, pulled from it's socket. His wrists were cut and bleeding and his ankles the same. "He's gone, I'm sorry. I tried but I couldn't do it. You were right, this is my fault. Please, oh god please forgive me. He just died before my eyes. He woke up and now...." Joseph was interrupted by Oriel. "Now you will all wait here while the rest of the forces get here. Metatron will be the last to come that has been seen. Alexander's soul is here." he pulled out Xander's wedding ring and placed it in Vivi's hand. "Keep it safe we will find a place for it when Damien arrives. So ironic is this world. He started this all in motion by following orders and attacking the school and now he will fight to end it all. He is truly the man his father was meant to be. So much like his mother. Oh and your friend, Vivi, is coming as well I'll let her explain more." Oriel sat down on a pew weakly. He was shaking. He was the angel who watched destiny. Once he was beautiful but he had gone missing in the 20th century and now he was back.*

*Damien's eyes opened and he swore he could hear a choir of angels singing in his head. The sun was beating down on him and snow was falling from the clouds. He was smiling, truly happy for the moment. He felt free and at peace until his high was flushed away. He heard the singing turn to screams and gun fire. The air was filled with the smell of blood. Damien frowned and he saw Nia's sad face. "Don't cry again, I won't leave you not now or ever. There is much to fear but I will set it right for my little sister."He Sat up not surprised by his healed body.*[lrs928]

Joseph, no... *Vivi whispered placing a hand on his shoulder. She had known Joseph was gone when she saw the soul fragments joining in the sky. What she was regretting was blaming Joseph, but somehow the words couldn't come. She couldn't even begin to fathom the pain and heart ache and remorse she was feeling, let alone put it into words. Nothing seemed to even begin to come to mind that would describe just how sorry she was for all of it. Everything single thing that had led up to now. She starred as Oriel placed the ring in her hand. This was all she had left of her brother? A ring? Was that really it? As she saw Joseph's pained face she realized she was wrong, was this all the two of them had left? She could see her pain mirrored in his eyes. They were both suffering and she had no clue how to end it. Instead she placed her hands on Joseph's face as they began to glow. One hand cupped so the ring pressed against Joseph's cheek.* Everything will be alright. *She whispered as the glow began to spread over his body. She didn't want to worry about what was to come just yet.*

I found it!! *Hue squealed as she ran into the church bouncing. Fell chuckled as she tugged him along by the hand. Hue had her long hair done up in pigtails with black ribbons that bounced with her enthuasium. She wore a black baby doll dress that fell to her knees, with a black coat, black stockings, and cute black boots. Fell had his blonde hair perfectly styled back in the wind blown model look, he wore a black turtle neck sweater, a black trench coat, black pants, and shiny black leather shoes. Hue giggled as she dropped Fell's hand and ran over to Vivi.* I knew I could find you! *She dropped the bundle of clothes she was holding and threw her arms around Vivi, managing to wiggle her way into Vivi's lap despite Vivi still having her hands on Joseph's face. Fell stayed a afew feet away, hands in trench coat as Hue babbled on about how they realized what was going on and came to find this place. He glanced at Joseph not worried by his obviously human aura. His eyes lingered on Vivi registering who she really was. Fell wasn't sure how he felt about seeing Uriel again after so long but he excused the issue given Hue's attachment to her. He was shocked however to see Oriel. He blinked several times not sure what to say.*

*Nia sniffled trying quell her tears, and nodded. She got to her feet, shaking the lightly falling snow from her hair. She glanced side to side as sh hugged herself.* I don't like this place, brother. Lets find the others. *She whispered taking Damien's hand and practically attaching herself to his side. Everything was too new for her. She was nervous and scared, and it was doubtful she would be her old self again for awhile.*

*The undertaker starred at a panting Metatron. His arms were attached to the wall by chains, his shirt torn to ribbons. Blood mixed with grit from the slashes on his chest. Metatron looked defiantly up at the masked demon who laughed and grabbed him by the hair, knotting his fingers in the strands as he yanked Metatron's face inches from his. He pulled hard, forcing Metatron's already bleeding wrists to dig deeper in to the shackles.* Now now. That is not the face I should be seeing, specially with the situation your in. *The demon wheezed. He slammed Metatron's face into the dirty floor covered in blood, feces, and dirt. He wheezed a disgusting laugh at Metatron's tears of pain. His arms had been dislocated with that move, the shackles digging even deeper into the flesh. The masked demon placed his hand on the back of Metatron's neck to hold him down and began hacking away at Metatron's hair. He cackled, relishing in the sound of the blade as it got closer and closer to Metatron's head.*[Wish_Alley]

*Damien eyes had justice in them, standing up finally. Palms turned to the sky light blew out of his hand and carried on the breeze. He walked towards the church where he heard the call. The people on the street he stopped to touch, to tear away the anger in their souls. The light that drifted turned into small beads of light that snowed down on the cities of the world. People all stopped what they were doing, drifting off into a deep, peaceful sleep. Humming an ancient tune he'd heard so long ago from a no face women that had stood over his cradle. Mother, a women he'd barely recalled. He'd be 5 when he'd been pulled away. His memories had been suppressed by his father who had never allowed those happy moments to take place. A tear streaked across his pale angular face. His glowing white hair lighting the way as night fell across the land. Snow was falling steadily covering the muddy streets. Dim lights of the street lamps casting devilish shadows on the innocent snow. Damien could see his old shadow that was the demon of the past.*

*Oriel began busting out laughing. "I know, I know I look like I lost a fight with a lawn more but it was only some demons but you look like you had a slice of sinner's pie. She is cute." He said with a wink at Hue. Oriel had been a quiet man but years of unrelenting torture had given him the urge to speak openly at the sight of old friends. Though it was never convenient when the future flipped before his eye in the middle of a joke. He sighed though as he saw the door to the church creak open. A tiny five year old boy with curly brown hair and large saucer blue eyes, walked into the church. Oriel's smile spread across his face at the sight of the nearly frozen and starved boy. The familiar fragrance of an old friend wafted from the boy. The use of the an empty child's body, the child's soul stolen but the body alive, had given Oriel the chance to give another's soul a place to go. The child coughed and then croaked straining words. "Mommy?" he called out as he saw Vivi an unclear but all to familiar face, he hadn't a clue who he was but she had to know him. The boy huffing and puffing down the isle came to rest at Vivi's feet. "Ah, welcome Alexander" Oriel said. Joseph's eyes turned to look at the boy.*

*Locks of black hair fell to the stone floor and mixed with crimson red liquid that was nearly dry. Metatron shuttered numb from the pain in his limbs. He couldn't think clearly, slowly poisoned by the darkness. Over and over again the undertaker punished him when he answered questions wrong. The undertaker would yell the right answer in his face and ask again until he answered it right. He was giving in to hell's logic, conditioned to behave on the behalf of his enemy until he was slowly devoured, broken, and turned into one of them.*[lrs928]

*Hue followed her brother, determined never to leave his side again if she could help it. She was holding back tears as the song played through the city. She remembered it, but not the face of the one who sang it to her. It was painful knowing her life's story now. She wanted to recall the face of that woman, but it wouldn't come. She let her brother's light cure the pain and cried out of happiness for the life her mother had given to her.*

*Fell blinked at Oriel's comment, not sure weather to laugh and play along, or ask where his sanity had gone.* I... I agree. *He muttered hoping to the heavens his face wasn't as beat red as he imagined it was. His head snapped up as the little boy came into the church and all eyes moved to him. Vivi looked shell shocked as the boy came down the isle looking like he would couch up a lung any minute. Vivi broke concentration on healing Joseph as she pulled the child into her already crowded lap. She held him, stroking his matted hair, quelling his dangerous cough. She held Hue as well, remaining silent for many minutes, just hugging both. Finally she looked up straight at Oriel.* Whats going on? *She said in a low voice.*

*The undertaker was pleased what The Chamber had done to Metatron. The Chamber was meant to distort time. Minutes, and hours could seem like days or months, seconds to years. It was all mixed and you could never make sense of it. Metatron's punishments only went on for a few hours, but to him it felt like thousands of years. Though angels were designed to withstand thousands of years, if those years were filled with unimaginable pain it could break even the holiest of saints. This had been Lord Lucifer's plan. Disorient Metatron. Throw him into a chaos by finding Uriel again after so long, push him to the brink of falling, and just when it seemed like he would gain his wings back, tear them right from his back. The Undertaker watched as Metatron starred destitutely at the floor. His eyes held no soul, they were grey and broken, devoid of their light. He didn't even seem to notice the pain anymore, which delighted The Undertaker. There was only one more test to be given to prove Metatron was Hell's. He grabbed Metatron's hair once more, the flesh on his scalp to the point of coming loose from the action being performed so many times. The Undertaker was weak in the knees with giddy satisfaction as Metatron whimpered, attempting to shy away from whatever new hurt was to befall him, trained like a proper beaten animal to fear his master.* Who do you serve? *He wheezed in a dangerously low voice, the anticipation of the answer he knew would come was almost too much.* [Wish_Alley]

*They had not ended up far away from their intended destination. Blinding snow fall kept them from moving to quickly. Damien's wing shielded his sister from the weather until the made it to the large oak doors. He turned the knob to reveal the warm sanctuary. The other angels gathered turned to look back except Oriel.*

*Oriel wise and somehow smug. "The begining of the end my dear. The battle highlighted in the heavens. Alexander's soul is within the boys body but heaven will not reopen until he forces them open. It will be a while since he does not remember a single atribute from his life before. All he knows was that he was once safe with you. The time is comming we really must ready to fight. Kiss your loved ones here and now, some of us will die tonight. The others will have to live with the pain that is to erupt in their hearts. Tonight we face friends as enemys. I will watch it all closely, I have awaited this day for far to long and I have no intent on letting the future be altered, though some do try." He paused stepping so that he stood before Vivi in a towering since. His gentle hands cupped her face. "You will feel everything fall apart at the seems. Stand and fight with the intention to kill and nothing more. Pierce the skin with no remorse." Oriel said in his puzzling way.*

*"Lucifer" he murmured in the clearest voice he could muster. He was dizzied by the pain and blinded like a work animal. He would do as he was told. The darkness of the room was bleak like the feeling in his heart. Something warm was missing from that pounding nusences. What was that piece that made him live before? Was there even a time before the pain? Trembling hands pleaded for reliefe and nutrition. He looked weak in spirit but physicaly strong even with his mangled form's torture.*[lrs928]

*Vivi watched as the doors to the church opened, and knew it would be the other arrivals. She blinked not recognizing them, and then was shocked as she realized she did. Neither Damien nor her best friend looked like she remembered them. Vivi didn't have much time to ponder this though as Oriel began speaking. It hurt, what he was saying. She just held the boy holding Alexander's soul hoping for the best of things. Vivi felt so small as he stood before her, she flinched at his touch, expecting pain. Tears brimmed in her eyes as she tried not to meet his gaze. Finally she pulled away from him and placed Hue and the boy down on the steps. She kissed both their foreheads as she stood up.* Stay here with Hue, ok? *She said to the little boy as she slowly backed away from him.* M-Mommy will be right back. *She added as an after thought. She needed to be alone. Her human instincts were screaming at her. She desperately needed a bathroom for more than one reason. Vivi began riffling through the clothes Hue had brought and separated what was for her as she disappeared through a wooden door. The rest of the church rooms were amazingly untouched and Vivi quickly located a bathroom, locking the door behind her. She flicked on the light and was graced with the sight of a small bathroom with no windows, bathed in golden light. She slipped Alexander's wedding ring on to a finger and placed the clothes on the back of the toilet. For once she was shaking, something she hadn't done since before Metatron killed her father. Metatron. The blood stained dress she had been undoing suddenly dropped to the floor as she stood frozen at his name. Tears did come now. What was happening to him? Would he really come back to her? Would he still love her? Would he promise never to leave her again? She looked at her blood stained and scarred body in the mirror as the tears ran down her cheeks and dropped on to her chest. Too many questions disappeared from her as her mind went blank at the sight. She wished she could give up her human feelings, but she had lived as a human too long. The instincts, emotions, physical, and mental needs couldn't just disappear over night. But she was an angel. She couldn't be crying like this, which was why she needed to get over this as quickly as possible. Still shaking uncontrollably, she twisted the knobs for the shower. She jumped as the hot water came gushing out of the shower head over her head and she slipped to the bottom of the tub. Vivi laid there at the bottom letting the warm water pool around her and closed her eyes. Everything was going to be ok. She was going to make it ok. She was going to make sure Fell and Hue made it back to heaven and were going to be together. She was going to make sure Joseph and Alexander were together and happy. She was going to right this all so that everything was better... even if that meant she could not see it when it happened. She laid there a little longer before she got to her feet feeling stronger. She washed the blood and grit from her body, slow, running her hand over each scar to remind herself of her resolve. Finally she stepped out and toweled off, feeling ready to take on the world, she got dressed.*

*Fell glanced back. His jaw could have fallen right off from his shock. He didn't even recognize Nia. She looked so... innocent. It was a really, really big difference from how her remembered her. For the slightest moment he let himself indulge in looking at her. She was the same age as Vivi, just as developed, but her size made her look almost like a child. It was terribly appealing with her angelic light, but as he looked, nothing kindled like it did before. He didn't love Nia. Never had. Maybe not even as a friend. He looked over and saw his angel (he love thinking of her that way). Hue was sitting next to the little boy, showing him a trick with string, and laughing as she undid the trick and he looked confused. Fell was more than smitten, Hue was his world. He loved everything about her. Her hair, her eyes, her skin, her lips, her stubborn attitude, her laugh, her voice, when she cried, when she pouted, when she was mad, the clothes she looked best in, when she wasn't wearing.... He walked over to her and sitting next to her, pulled her into his arms, wrapping his arms around her chest. He buried his face into her hair and breathed deep, just inhaling. Fell was taking Oriel's words to heart, fearing the worst of what was to come. Hue blinked at this and tried to glance back, stopping only when his grip tightened.* Fell? *She asked.* NnnMMmffph. *He mumbled into the back of her head.* Oh. Ok. *Hue said brightly and went back to showing the little boy more string tricks not the least bit concerned that there were others in the room.* [Wish_Alley]

*Alexander looked at the man before him and then hugged him. "Daddy?" He giggled and snuggled into the man's arms. Joseph drew Alexander to him and wept silently. He was with him for now but it did not seem like enough. Oriel burst into laughter at the sights before him. "Two males clung as lover's to one another while the other set of lover's were siblings. At the end former lovers/ former demons and realized siblings and angels. Oriel shook his head. "Will you lot get a room and get ready for war. There really isn't time to snogg each other. Metatron will be here in well 3 seconds."*

*Metatron moved through the snowy night. A sword in his hand dripp with blood making tracks in the snow. His black wings were out stretched and ominous. Fresh dead bodies lined the streets and his black eyes were intensified by the dark rings under his eyes. No smile on his beaten face. He breathed hard as he swung the doors open to the church. He had been sent on a task. He would win the war for Lucifer his loyalty to the king. The blade dragged on the ground with a screeching noise. Damien flinched at the noise and jumped back at the sight of Metatron. The sword raised thruster into Damien's stomach. It would not kill him but keep him from fighting. He would deal with the traitor later. Heel toe he stalked throught the dim church. With out his sword he came towards Oriel and the others. Purple flames burned from his hands and then all around him. The floor caught on fire and raced up the walls of the church. "To hell you must go" Metatron uttered as Alexander let out a scream of fear. Metatron grabbed the person closes which was Joseph. Joseph dropped Alexander as Metatron lifted him by the neck into the air. He struggled in his hands and the there was a cold snap. Joseph's hands that had been pulling at Metatron's finger's, fell to his side. Metatron let Joseph fall to the ground like lead. He laughed coldly.*[lrs928]

*Nia starred horrified as her brother grabbed his stomach and fell to the ground. She scrambled to him, removing the sword, and began the healing process. The sword was tainted and the process would be long. Looking back she preyed the others be okey.*

*Fell grabbed Hue, shielding her from the flames. Hue screamed as her beloved was burned.*

*Vivi pulled on a black tank top, a black short shorts, knee high black high heeled boots, and a black trench coat. The screams came just as she pulled the trench coat into place. Wrenching the door open she ran out just as Joseph went limp. Without a second thought she grabbed Alexander putting herself between him and Metatron. Defiance filled her eyes as she glared at the black winged angel that tossed Joseph's body like a rag doll. Vivi starred in horror as she recognized Metatron.* Meta... tron? *Vivi breathed.* W-Why are you doing this!? *Vivi cried through tears.* [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron stepped forward, towering above Vivi. His height was intimidating. The purple flames cast shadows on his face. Like Halloween when the world is fill with fright the room held the same tension but this was not for fun. "For the king" He replied roboticly. His wings stretched out and wrapped around Vivi, pulling her into him. "There is a hunger I have for you, it will be a waste when you die." He whispered in her ear. The words seemed tender and sad. Fire shot out from his wings and Alexander's screams began. This time the screams caused chills down the spine of Oriel. Pain echoed in each sound. The sound of the roaring flames, the smell of burning flesh the filled the air and laid heavily around them.*

*Damien starred up at his sister. "I d..deserved that, from him." He said, noting that they were even.*[lrs928]

*Vivi was frozen, unable to do anything. Metatron had been her's before, and she his. They loved each other beyond normal reason, she couldn't push him away even if she tried. Letting him hold her, she pressed against him, ignoring the blood, grit, and sweat wafting from him, she hugged him. Lost as she was, she knew how wrong this was. Metatron wasn't supposed to be like this. Hurting others, harming her more mentally than he ever could have phsyically. This wasn't her Metatron. The realiztion came too late as Alexander's blood curtling screams snapped whatever hold Metatron had put on her. Remembering who she was, what she was supposed to do, why she was banished from paradise, what her mission was, even if her more precious person got in the way. She was Uriel, and Metatron was breaking her heart. With astounding strength she shoved him away. Snow white wings spread from her back, as her sword manifested in her right hand, a ball of flame in her left. Tears streamed from her eyes, as she looked at Metatron with pained eyes. This was the most painful thing she would ever do in the eternities she would live on for, the pain would last well on into her next life.* May God in Heaven forgive thine soul. *She muttered as she slashed at Metatron's chest.* [Wish_Alley]

*Metatron felt the razor sharp blade pierce his skin. No pain accured at first but it built up slowly. Slowly like a creeping preditor it pounced into his conscious mind two or three minutes after the impact. Those minutes that passed in the mean time laid still. His face expressionless and dark. In his eyes shimmered what was left of the man that Uriel had known before. Metatron's heart still preasent in the bleak hours. With trembling hands he stumbled forward. Hands spread out like like child waiting for a gift. "Why can't you see it my way, Uriel? It was meant to be like this." He made no sense but he came closer to her. The crimson red stained what was left of his clothing. He haulted, swaying on his feet he stumble back and fell to the church floor.*[lrs928]

*Uriel was shaking, the blade in her hand quivering. Suddenly she dropped the blade as if it had burned her. She starred at Metatron where he had fallen, her spirit and heart broken.* Why? Why!? *She screamed, not realizing how silent the church had become.* Why do things always turn out this way!? Why can't we just live and be happy!? Why do you all keep toying with us!? *Uriel screamed to the sky. She crumpled to her knees sobbing. All of it had become too much. All of it. All the pain her family was feeling seemed so pointless. Why did it have to be this way?* Because God has no say in the matter. *Said a voice behind her. Uriel whipped around just as Aym grabbed her by the hair. A cry of pain escaped her as she was yanked upward into a pitiful standing position. Febily she clawed at the hand knotted in her hair, tears still streaming down her face.* Of course Lucifer was planning to take over Heaven, I just planned my own agenda in the process. I pushed Damien into manipulating Metatron, knowing how much my little pet wished for his Daddy's love. *Aym purred producing a thin silver blade. He pulled Uriel even higher, her feet hovering just above the ground. The whimpering that came from her as the hair tugged painfull at her scalp only made his smile bigger.* I already knew what Lucifer had planned to get Metatron out of the way, but you. *Aym chuckled running the blade down her cheek. Uriel tried futily to bite back the scream of pain as the cool metal touched her pale skin.* None of us knew who you really were when this all started, but you became the key to accomplishing it all. You helped us get Metatron to the edge, he was so happy to see you again. You led us to Xaphen and his little pet lover. You helped us keep Nia in check, she wouldn't dare step out of line if it put you in danger. Like wise was she thinking of protecting you when we tricked Fell into poisoning the angels. *Aym laughed as he ran the blade down her jaw line, digging deeper as he approached the throat. Uriel was no longer her angelic self, she was once again Vivi, a scared human girl who was too weak to do anything. She kicked wildly, screaming and clawing at the arm that held her in the air. Her nails came away with flesh, but her attacker only laughed harder. Finally he dropped her to the ground. Panting she clapped a hand to her neck and tried to crawl away. Aym swooped down on her, wrapping the arm that held the nife around her waist, as his free hand grabbed her throat forcing her to look at the frozen figures in the church.* All of this is your doing. *He purred biting her ear.* All of it. You selfish woman, guess you don't realize what your love for Metatron did to the world? Guess you never will. *He laughed as he ran the blade over her stomach. Vivi coughed up blood as he violently tossed her down the stairs. Cutting her clothes, digging deep into the skin, he made symbols of dark magic as she kicked and fought. The pain had turned to numbness as Vivi finally looked over at Metatron. All of the memories came flooding back, as Aym took hold of her throat. Tears came to her eyes once more as she smiled at Metatron.* I.... f-forgive you... I-I... will a-always.... love you... *Vivi whispered, as she smiled at him. In these final moments she knew she couldn't be saved. Uriel was cursed to live as a human till the end of time, cursed to die young and painful deaths. This time would be no different. But before she was reborn once more she wanted to tell Metatron she doesn't blame him for the lives he took or hurt. She would love him no matter what.* Hahaha! Still talking of love even now? You really are a saint. The most beautiful saint of all. *Aym said the last part in a cold, almost tender whisper as he straddled her body. Truth be told he had been obsessed with Uriel all his life. It was the reason he was taking his time to make her suffer now. She had always been the most beautiful too him. Never once had gained her attention though, he just wanted her to look at him. That wish wouldn't be granted, for even as he raised the blade for the last time her eyes stayed locked on Metatron.* Goodbye, mother. *He whispered. The silver blade plunged into her heart. Vivi gasped, panting hard. Blood sputtered from her mouth as her eyes flickered, finally closing as she became still. Aym yanked the blade free, a sick sucking sound occured as it left the flesh. He tossed the blade to the side and pulled out a handkercheif and began cleaning his hands.* Well, at least thats finally done. The last thing standing in my way. I just needed to remove that final emotional barrier. Now Hell, Heaven, and Earth are mine. *He said smiling.* [Wish_Alley]

*The church seemed to be froze, the air heavy with silence. No breath was heard nor seen and the lights of the church flickered off. Flames flickered frightfully from the forgotten candles. The room filled jumping fire warming the room to a comfortable 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Damien's pupils shrunk and his eyelids opened to an alarming size. His jaw clenched tight as the cold air struck his wound.Lucifer's haunting figure stepped in the doorway, the temperature dropped a good ten degrees. Then a girl walked in the door. She had no wings, no halo, or crown, she was however stunning. A perfected human face. The corners of her cotton-candy-lips were pulled downward and she looked at the scene in dismay. "I understand this broke the treaty. I know I am foolish you don't have to point that out ever time I see you and I am not changing me mind. I don't care if you gave me life." He said to the girl behind him. The girl's color changed at ever step like a rainbow of races. She stopped at Damien and Shooed Lucifer away with a warning glance. Lucifer had his orders to do his job and the girl hers. Towering over Aym his lips tightened and curled together. "I'm afraid my time of incapacitation has ended and now it is time to cut a few lose ends. I love tv because you are the weakest link, GOODBYE!" Lucifer drove his fist deep into Aym's stomach cavity. He pulled it out and grabbed Aym's jaw and ripped it off. Tossing his tiny form to the floor. "This time I will leave." Lucifer said as he vanished into a huff of smoke. The girl smilled as she touched Nia and Damien, restoring a new full light to them. Then she stood and danced down the eisle to Metatron's side. She sat on her knees and grazed his cheek with the back of her soft hands. Oriel was beside her in a moments time. "Why have you fallen so far. My friend, my child, and my voice? Die with peace that I forgive you." Oriel translated. Metaron closed his eyes crying as he turned his head and looked at Vivi, his hand slide across the floor and grasped her's. He cold gaze filled his eyes with tears before they froze on her's forever.*[lrs928]

*Nia sat on the balcony of Heaven's palace watching children playing in the lake of stars. She never tired of the scene. So peaceful. So happy. Still after so many centuries of being in this place, she could not believe she was welcomed into Heaven's fold with such grace. That day was still burned into her memory, leaving a scar that couldn't heal no matter how much time passed. She and Damien were graced with God's graces and welcomed warmly as Heaven's gates reopened. The days following, there was so much work to do, it thrilled her having a purpose. Slowly Heaven was restored to most of its former glory. Of course in her eyes it would never shine quite the way it had before. Damien took over his once angelic father's position, and became more than Lucifer could ever hope to be. Nia was gifted with their mother's position. The guiding light of Heaven, she led lost souls to peace. She finally felt like she belonged somewhere. That day Hue and Fell also returned home. Though many met their relationship with raging disagreement, Fell stood firm. He refused to hide his emotions any longer, and refused to deny his feelings for Hue. Thankfully the disagreement was short lived. Fell was reinstated to his previous position, while Hue remained the spoiled little girl she was before. She was much more graceful about it though. Things were peaceful and happy, with the world on the mend. There was always the lingering thought though. Nia wondered if her dear friend was doing alright.*

*The city was still mostly in ruins several years after The Disaster. Very few people had returned to the wreckage, but those left did what they could and made life livable for what they had left. Many children were orphaned by The Disaster, leaving most of the city occupied by orphanages. All most all of the children newborns, too young to fend for themselves. The most cherished place in the city had been refurbished into the most famous orphanage. Through all the chaos, violence, and terrible weather only one place stood strong, The Church. No one could recall its name, and no one wished to give it a name, but it remained the center of what little civilization had returned to the ruined city. The most famous thing about The Church was the statue that stood in its courtyard. A beautiful male angel, with long hair, six wings and flowing robes. He looked down on any who stood before him with a face painfully beautiful, reaching towards them as if to embrace their sorrows. No one knew where the statue had come from but it was famous. When The Church had been found, three bodies had been found before the statue. A man, a small child, and a young girl. None of them were ever identified, but it was rumored they had been a small family hiding in the church when they were caught in a fire. All had been too badly burned to be recognized. But the way the statue had stood before them, holding out its arms, as if welcoming them to Heaven had brought many to tears. In memory of them, they were cremated, their ashes put into the pedestal the statue now resided upon. All of the children knew the story of the statue, but few ever paid attention to the statue and his sad eyes.*

*The thumps of little feet on wood floor echoed in the church as the little girl led the little boy down the steps and into the courtyard. Finally the clouds had cleared and Nun Bowry was letting them play outside. The sky was a brilliant blue was gorgeous puffy clouds drifting on a light breeze. The sun shone down on the little girl making her glow. Even at her young age it was clear she would be stunning when she reached adulthood, with bright blond curls bouncing just above her shoulders, gorgeous deep blue eyes, and pale white skin that sparkled in the light. Her younger twin brother would be just as pretty. The girl wore a brand new light pink dress that flapped at her knees in the breeze, while the boy wore a white shirt with tan shorts. Their bare feet padded on the cement almost in sync as she walked around the statue. Both of the twins were almost four and inseparable. Both had nearly been adopted by wealthy people, but neither would go if the other wasn't with them. As they reached the front of the statue the little girl stopped, her brother bumping into her at her abrupt halt. The boy sucked his thumb as he watched his sister stare up at the angel statue. She was deeply fascinated with the angel statue, always stopping to look at it, but it never failed to puzzle him why she always looked so sad. Starring at it her eyes would become glassy, tears swimming at the edges. Then, just as suddenly, she would snap out of her reverie. As always she seemed to realize what she was doing and would smile at him.* Nun Bowry says don't suck your thumb. *She would say as she would pull his thumb out of his mouth and pull him along to where ever they were going before. The process never failed, except for today.* Vivica Jane! Alexander Scott! *Nun Bowry shrilled making them both jump.* Coming Nun Bowry! *The little girl called and quickly tugged her brother along. As she walked she looked back at the statue one more time. Even at her tender age she could see the sadness in the statue's eyes, but she could never figure out why it affected her so much. Maybe she would figure it out when she was older, she thought as she ran over to her friends.* [Wish_Alley]
