This is actually pretty cool because somewhere in there is actual rust caused by a prehistoric sea that used to cover the entire area. It actually is the reason for the entire set of rock formations here in Southern Illinois.

2009-06-15 [Cillamoon]: These pictures are gorgeous!!

2009-06-15 [Lord Josmar]: Thank you. We have a lot of rock formations up here including: Rim Rock, Devil's Smoke Stack, Burden Falls, Devil's Backbone, Bellsmith Springs, and Stone Face. Then there are some places that I haven't even been to yet.

2009-06-15 [Ravenclaw]: Dude, Rim Rock is where my mother and I where chased out of the woods by a very large very predatory cat.

I think a few pics of Burden Falls could get you a win. With as wet as it's been lately I bet they're flowing.

2009-06-15 [Cillamoon]: Is this part of a contest? I mean, did you submit it for one?

2009-06-16 [Lord Josmar]: Yea...I submitted it to the EPRM Landscape Reference contest. I have to find out if those other places are actually considered part of Garden of the Gods, if so I will have many many more photos to add.

2009-06-16 [Cillamoon]: Very cool! If I may make just one suggestion to you, I believe if I am correct that there should be a link here going back to the Landmark Reference page....anyone please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

2009-06-16 [Lord Josmar]: What is the code for it and I will put it in here. I didn't know what it would be so I didn't put one in here.

2009-06-16 [Cillamoon]: EPRM Landscape Reference Just make sure to put the [ & ] before and after the words, and to add @wiki after Reference.

2009-06-16 [Ravenclaw]: Personally I consider this entire regional area as part of the Garden of the Gods. I mean it opens right up into the Foothills of Tennessee. I would consider any pic you took in the 60 mile radius around Hardin and Pope Counties as a GotG pic.

2009-06-16 [Cillamoon]: Perfect, unfortunately my comment earlier made it look like the & needs to be in there, when it doesn't. Just remove that and you are good to go! Sorry for the confusion.

2009-06-16 [Cillamoon]: Crap! I have made a whole mess of this for you! Even my damn link doesn't work!

2009-06-16 [Cillamoon]: Here: EPRM Landmark Reference

2009-06-16 [Lord Josmar]: Lols. I was just trying to get it to work and it wouldnt I was going to say something till I saw the comment.

2010-03-28 [Silver Moon]: I've been there before it's an awesome place. Great pictures

2010-03-28 [Lord Josmar]: Thanks. I have more pictures of the area A Day in the Gods' Garden. It has someone posing for most of them. More landscape shot wikis on my house.

2010-03-28 [Silver Moon]: ok thank you for telling me
