i mean, what do i do once i download this and save it? and save it to where... right now it just opens as an image in gimp, and i dont know what to do with it after that

Go to My Computer
Find the area with all your program files, usually labeled as Local Disk (C:)
Click on Program Files
Look for Gimp
look around and there should be a folder that says "Brushes"
Put all your brushes in that folder so it will show up on the program
