Loki waited in the tower. Odin allowed him to roam freely around the royal grounds, but no where else. ~Just like when I was a child...~ he remembered thinking. He glanced out a window, his eyes narrowing when he saw Thor and Sif.

Thor wonder the gardens with Sif trying so hard to keep up appearances for Odin. He hated it, he hated lying to Sif, even more so he hated hurting Loki. Though he god would never show it he know him all too well.

Loki slammed his fist on the wall. Oh how he would just love to slit her throat. Thor was his, not hers... He wanted to cut off her air supply, but Odin had stripped him of his magic. He looked at his hands... Nothing but an ordinary man now.

"Sif... we need to talk." Thor spoke low. He had been thinking about this for a long time and he could no longer bare to hide it from her. "Please some sit?"

Sif sat down and smiled, nuzzling him gently. ”Of course love, what is it?”

He looked at her and he saw all the time he stood beside her in battle and just how beautiful she truly was. Not to mention strong. How could he hurt her. His mind was a tangle mess and he knew Odin had plans for them to one day wed. He sighed and sat down beside her. "You know my father's intentions... right?" He asked while in the back of his mind all he could think about was Loki. Would he be watching them at this very moment? What was he thinking? How was he feeling? What would he do if he couldn't go through with breaking either of their hearts?

"Your father's intentions?" Sif asked. She had no clue. "Is there another war going to happen?" She looked worried. Loki couldn't pull himself from the tower window. He needed to see if Thor would pull through... But could he really be angry if he didn't?

His heart was torn in two. To hurt his best friend or to hurt the one he truly love. He didn't want to lose either. He held his ground and decide to go through with his fathers plans. Getting down on one knee he pulled out a ring and slid it onto her finger. "Sif....will you marry me?"

Sif's face light up red. She didn't exactly know what to say besides "Y-Yes!" She tackled him onto the floor. Loki glared daggers at them and pulled himself from the window, floopping onto his bed.

Thor smiled but he could feel the heated gaze and the back of his head. Oh how his heart was breaking. He held her tight to his chest and hope she would not look up for some time. A tear rolled down his cheek in pain as he realized the heartache and the mess that he had just caused.

Sif kept her face buried in his chest, looking so terribly happy. She helped him up, tears of joy in her own eyes. She mistook his for happiness and kissed him tenderly. "I love you Thor.. I must tell Hogan and the others!" She waved and quickly ran off.

His heart only ached more and weighed heavy on his shoulders. He loved Loki so much be he had no choice he had to marry Sif for his father's sake. But if he know Loki like he did he know the other god was furious. How was he going to make this up to him? How was he going to prove he love Loki above all else?

Loki pulled the curtains shut, laying in his bed in the silent darkness. He knew that Odin wanted Thor and Sif to marry but... But what if Thor actually loved her? He saw that look in thor's eyes.. He thought she was beautiful.

Thor stood and wonder the halls of palace aimlessly. It wasn't until he found himself in front of Loki's room did he realize what he was doing. He knew what had to be done but he wasn't sure he could face him. All he knew was he wasn't going to lie to him. He knocked softly on the door and waited for the younger god to answer.

There was no answer. Loki didn't want to be bothered. He played with a snake that he created, letting it slither down his arm.

Thor tried again but with no answer he went in quietly and headed into the room. He made his way over to the bed and knelt Dow beside the bed. "I love you" he whisper softly and with conviction.

Loki didn't even bother to look at him. He merely rolled over, his back to Thor. "I know." He muttered.

Thor hurt in more ways then he could even imagine. But nothing hurt more than knowing he probably hurt Loki. "Please tell me you weren't watching."

"Watching you and Sif walk around, fused at the hip and you proposing to her? No. I wasn't watching." Loki muttered.

"Loki please try to understand." The blonde pleaded softly. "I have no choice."

Loki got up, walking passed Thor to get some wine from his desk. "Yeah. Right."

Thor stood and followed his lover. Whether he wanted him to or not he wrapped his arms around the other's waist and rested his head there. "Loki... You know it is only you that holds that true place in my heart."

Loki shrugged him off and placed his hands on the desk, leaning over it in silent hatred. "And then when you say you're I do's? I'm suppose to stand there as best man? And when you have children? I'll have to be known as uncle Loki?"

"This is all for my father nothing more." Thor replied honestly. "Yes I love Sif but nothing more as my friend. She is more like a sister to me then anything." Which was true he saw he as more of a person to love like family than love like he did Loki. "I had gave you the option of leaving asgaurd with me. But now...now I have no choice but to stay." He moved to his side again and once again wrapped his arms around him. "I love. You!" He whispered softly in his ear. "I wish you see that if only you I hold dear to me like this. It is you that I love more than anyone. And if I could I would have you by my side and not Sif."

Loki scoffed and moved away from him, staring down at the desk. "I have trouble believing that now-a-days... You look at her with such gentle haze that a part of me thinks that you actually care for her in a romantic way." he rolled his eyes. "Just leave Thor. I'll watch you and your bride from afar."

The blonde turned the raven hair beauty toward him and kissed him sweetly . He held him up against the desk and looked him in the eyes. "What do I have to do to prove it?"

Loki glared and moved his head away, pushing Thor off of him. "No. I don't want you to prove it. Just go to her." He turned away.

Heart tearing even more he sucked up any emotion that would show on his face and turned away. "Fine." He said as he headed for the door. "I'll go."

Loki's bottom lip quivered as Thor walked away. What Thor couldn't see was the silent tears slowly sliding down his face.

"Know this..." Thor paused, still facing the door. "There only one in my that I would give my life for." He stopped and turned to look at him he saw the tears and it took everything he had not to break on the spot. "That one is you. I don't care if you don't believe it it's true ."

Loki hiccupped lightly, rubbing his eyes. "Word... All just words.."

He couldn't take it anymore, Thor swallowed hard and nodded. "If that's how you truly feel." He said softly and turned once more to walk out. He left the room slamming the door behind him and made his way to Heimdell

Loki slipped to his knees and cried softly in his solemn silence. He formed a knife and started cutting into the floor.

Thor looked at the guardian of the gate and sighed. "Midguard please." His voice shaky and his eyes blurry.

"Why to Midgard?" Heimdall quirked a brow and stared at him. "I do not think Loki would approve of you seeing Jane."

"She's not the only reason I'm going ." Thor sighed and look back toward the asgaurd. "Besides what does it matter he doesn't care."

"He does care, Thor. Right now he's curled up on the floor, frightened like a child that you aren't returning"

"Please old friend do not deny me." Thor spoke in a soft tone. An higher and he felt like he would break. "I just need a few hour away from here. I place where I know I can be alone to think." He sighed.

"You need each other, Thor." Heimdall sighed.

Thor sighed, slid down the wall and sat there. He needed Loki like he need air but he didn't want to seem so desperate. But at this point his heart was in so much pain he could not bare to hold back anymore. He rested his head on his knees and and finally let the silent tears fall.

Heimdall knelt down and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Go to him, Thor. Loki is the god of silver tongues. To prove something to him, you need action."

The blonde looked up and nodded. "If he'd ever let me near him." He sighed and looked at Heimdall. "He is not my only problem." He thought of Sif and the pain she would be in if he broke her heart. He could bring himself to do that.

Heimdall placed a hand on his shoulder. "Loki will be fine after you prove him your love. He needs to be held down, you know how he is.."

"But what about Sif?" Loki was no longer his only concern. "Loki I know I can handle but Sif... I worry about her."

"She doesn't need to know." Heimdall said softly. "Loki will play along."

Nodding Thor stood and thanked his old friend before returning to Loki's room. He snuck in quietly.

Loki was on his stomach on the bed, face buried in the pillow. He sniffled softly, hugging the cushion tight.

The sight hurt but no as much as know that this was his fault. He gently joined him on the other side of the bed and pulled him into his arms. Loki could fight him all he wanted but he wasn't going to let go

Loki didn't fight. He just curled up into a tight ball against his brother and sniffled quietly.

He held tight against him in silence as he let Loki have his moment. He ran his fingers through his hair and did what ever he could to calm him down.

Loki glared at his chest. "I hate you so much.."

Thor just held on tighter and kissed the top of his head. "I made a promise. I promised I would never leave. No matter how much you've hurt me... I'm still here." He told him honestly.

The younger God wrapped his arms around Thor's torso. "You'd better stay."He mumbled.

The blonde nodded and gave him a light squeeze to say he was.

Loki was still for a few moments before looking up at him. "Take me." He said suddenly.

Thor knew what he mean and if that is what it took to prove it to him he would.

Loki stopped him before he moved. "Listen carefully Thor. I want you to take me. With everything you have, alright? And if I say stop, don't."

Look at his lover and nodded. He pinned him and removed both their clothes faster then he ever have.

Loki yanked him into a rough kiss that was still filling with vigor and passion. He nipped his lover's neck, biting the soft skin.

Thor wasted no time at all with only the smallest amount of lub and no prep, he was inside the smaller god with one thrust. Not giving him the time to adjust he stated at a slow but hard and deep movement.

The trickster sunk his teeth into those broad shoulders, shaking lightly in pain and pleasure. "Mmmnn.. Thor..

The blonde hissed and growled deeply and he picked up speed.

Loki raked his nails down Thor's back, easily cutting into the skin and nipping his jaw.

"Loki~." The blonde hissed and slammed into him. He knew this is exactly what Loki wanted.

Loki yelped in pleasure and arched his body at a near impossible angel.

Thor kept slamming over and over again moving to hit the spot he knew would drive Loki over the edge.

"Th-Thor... I'm..." He couldn't finish his sentence. He clawed down Thor's back, screaming out as he came.

It took three more hard thrust before Thor released his own in his lovers willing body.

Loki collapsed on the bed, small tears in his eyes from pleasure, and the pain of letting Thor go back to Sif. He pulled the Thunder god close and buried his face in his neck.

Thor held the god of mischief to him and kissed his head. "I love you. " he said softly.

"I hate you too..." Loki mumbled playfully, his face never leaving Thor's neck.

Thor sighed but smiled and kissed the top of his head once more. "I'm sorry I hurt you." He spoke softly.

"It's fine... IT won't stop me from glaring at her." Loki mumbled

Thor tilted his head up and kissed him softly. "I love you...only you. I just can bring myself to rip out her heart." He sighed and kissed him again. "Or yours for that matter. Especially not yours."

Loki scritched his beard and smiled softly, kissing him sweetly. "I understand."

Thor smiled softly and kissed the god of mischief passionately.

Loki kissed back tenderly and cuddled him close.
