HSG COURTYARD
The enterance to the courtyard.
Micheal had closed the door behind him as he exited his dorm room, well after Charlette, Prue, and Razul left the hallway. He moved with rather strange, quick speed and found hisself in a beautiful court yard, opposite the original entrance. He looked around at the large trees and found that he continued to stand in the entrance, a few paces in, but still blocking the original veiw.
Sitting beneath a rather medium sized oak tree near the middle of the back courtyard, Maria had with her an opened sketchbook, drawing anime inspired by the few stories she's written in the past several years, emphasism on
few.
Zim walked and accedentally bumped nito Micheal."Hey!W
atch it!!"
Ramora saw Zim. "Can you tell me wgere I can find Cat?"
Zim looked over at her."Yeah,I think I saw her inside.."
Cat walked out into the courtyard, carrying her list of the students. She looked around, Wonder what I can do.
"Are you Cat?" Ramora asked.
Cat looked surpised, "Yeah, and you are?"
"Ramora." she answered. "I need my room key."
"Ok, room 23," she pulled out a key, "here's your key."
Micheal simply moved out of Zim's way, thinking that he was better to say nothing when no one asked a question, than it was to comment to her remark. He noticed Maria, but made no more moves after finding a single person's bench and sitting there, relaxed and slouching, despite his quiet nature, he'd known how to look for passerby's not to take too much notice in him.
Maria looked up at Zim's comment about Micheal, seemed to squint at the two before returning to her sketchbook, adding in a few details to the hair piece, holding the body-length hair in a fashionable way for someone in such victorian clothing. She was pleased with the way the entire piece was coming out and her face showed it.
Zim instantly felt bad when Micheal was quiet."Hey....I'm sorry..Im not in the greatest mood cause I really don't wana be in the stupid school."
Micheal looked to Zim. "Don't apologize and this is no special school. No one is handicapped here," he told her, as if it was common place. He had stood as he spoke, standing shoulder width apart with one foot a few feet behind the other. Both hands hung at his sides, seemingly limp.
Ramora was walking by on her way to her room. "He is right you know. It is for people that are different."
"I didnt't say special.I said stupid.I hate this place and my mom working here is no help at all."Zim stared at Micheal then smiled."Heh.For a second,in the right light, your pretty cute."
Ramora let out a laugh. She is random
Zim gave a sharp glare at Ramona."Whats so funny...?"
"Nothing...sorry." Ramora stopped laughing.
Zim rolled her eyes and went back to looking at Micheal."Such nice hair.."
Piper ran into the courtyard, she ran right into Micheal and fell back. "OW!" she looked up, "Sorry," and stood up. She looked around, "I'm gonna kill that shapesifter!"
Zim looked over at Piper."Eh?"
"I'm looking for a shapeshifter, named Vixen," Piper said, still looking around, she had stood back up.
Zim blinked."Hm.I havent seen her.."
Piper looked at a statue, "I doubt that." She walked over to it and tapped on it.
"Ow," the satue spoke.
"Who did you turn into a statue?"Zim asked, careful to avoid eye contact.
"It's Vixen, idiot," Piper turned to the statue, "Come on, Vix."
A girl with long brown hair and green eyes hopped down from where the statue had been a moment ago. She smiled nervously, "Hey Piper."
Piper glared, "Come on, Vixen. Let's go." She took her hand and they left the courtyard.
zim blinked."Bad temper..Note to self, stay away from gorgons."
Micheal simply stayed quiet for the duration of the compliments as well as when Piper had bumped into him. His face seemed impassive as Piper searched for Vixen as well as to the comment Zim spoke after they'd left. When his attention turned back to Zim and Ramora, he looked over both of them, more observing than anything. Still, he said nothing.
Maria looked up when Piper said shapeshifting. She was surprised when she heard the voices before, that they were so close to her, seperated only by a few hedges, not exactly the soundproof room you'd like for private conversations, unless you knew the right spell. Maria had closed her sketchbook, feeling as if more work on the drawing would ruin it for the day and returned it to her bag, along with her pencil. She stood up and stretched, closing her eyes. As she did that, a shimmer of what looked to be blue washed over her, from her head and hands to her feet, but left no imprint or any other sign it was there. She began to walk towards the door way of the courtyard.
Zim stared at MAria for a second.then shrugged and looked back at Micheal."Hm.Why are you so quiet...?"She blinked and looked like a curious dog.
Ramora look at Zim. She almost forgot where is was. She had stepped into a dream like state.
Zim looked back at her."Hey!You okay?"
Micheal again, seemed to take forever to answer the question, but since Zim had moved on, asking if Ramora was okay, he felt she'd want to know the answer to that question before the one she'd asked of him.
"Um yeah. I can't say what I saw but I can tell you I am ok." Ramora looked at all three people and felt out of place.
Zim blinked."What she..saw..?What is she talking about...?"She shook her head."Alright."She said to Ramora and looked back at Micheal, lifting his chin with her finger."Hey..whats your name?"
"I'm Ramora." She offered her hand to Micheal.
"And I'm Zimia.But please,call me Zim."
"Nice to meet you. My friends call Mora." Ramora smiled.
Micheal gently pushed Zim's finger from under his chin. "Micheal," he told her. "I'm not a labratory rat to be examined. I may not speak very much, but that doesn't mean I do not know anything."
Zim smiled and chuckled softly to herself."Heh.Just like a guy to jump to conclusions.Idiot,I never said you don't know anything. And the only reason I was holding your head up was to see those gorgeous eyes of your."She smiled sweetly.
"These gorgeous eyes are not all they seemed," Micheal told her, leaning his head slightly to the side.
"Aren't they always?" Ramora asked Zim.
"I love it when a guy has pretty eyes. Not like mine.Mine are dull and lifeless."zim shrugged to Ramora."But you.."She looked at Micheal."Your eyes sing like the strum of a guitar."
Micheal simply blinked at the compliment. He wasn't compelled to speak a reply.
Zim smiled."Heh...Like the strum of a guitar..."She repeated to herself.Saying that almost made her look like she was in a trance.
Interesting, Micheal thought, watching Zim. He looked up at a large clock which adorned a tower near the courtyard. It read 5:37. He turned back to the two standing in front of him. "Please excuse me," he said, nodding to both before he began to walk to the doorway.
Hey wait a minute!"Zim grabbed Micheal's arm.
Micheal stopped moving forwards, but had slipped his arm from Zim's grasp. He simply waited for Zim to explain why she'd stopped him.
Zim grabbed his shoulder, pulled him close, then kissed him smack on the lips. After a minute, she pulled back smiling."I feel better."
Tyra rolled her eyes and went to go sit at the fountain. She laid down on the cold stone, looking up at the sky.
Zim had jumped away from where she was and gone off to find Micheal, keeping mostly out of site.
Having found a nice place to lay down near the fountain he searched for, Micheal had his hands behind his head and his eyes closed, his legs resting against the ground. He listened to the lightly bubbling and churning water for a bit before hearing a bit of twitter from the few birds inhabiting the courtyard.
Zim spotted Micheal and stared at him from behind the tree. She blushed.Come on kid..Why are you so shy...?You know you like him...A voice in her head told her.She glared at herself.Shut up okay?
The wind rustled a few leaves near him, so Micheal opened his eyes lightly and watched the few trees nearby. He looked at the top of the fountain and smiled lightly, the inexplicable feeling of someone watching.
Zim blushed a bright red. He's cute when he smiles...She thought.Aww..You almost sound like you love him...The voice echoed in he mind.Didn't I tell you to shut up?
Elyria made her way over to a quiet corner of the courtyard and rummaged around in her bag, bringing forth a dark-colored book with no title listed on the cover. It took her only seconds to immerse herself in the mystery of the pages.
Max looked around and headed to the trees. He saw Elyria and walked over, he looked at the book and back at her. He sat against the wall, his eyes closed.
After several long minutes Elyria realized that somebody was standing near her and looked up in surprise.
Max smirked, looking up at the clouds, "You're not every aware are you?"
"Hm?" Elyria murmured in mild confusion.
"You aren't every aware of your surroundings are you?" Max blew out a small stream of smoke.
"Not when I'm reading..." Elyria blushed slightly, "Why?"
Max smirked, turning his head so he was looking right at Elyria, his brown eyes searching hers.
Elyria marked her page in the book and leaned back, stretching slightly, "Well?" She questioned softly.
Max stood up and walked over to her, holding out his hand, "Would you like to get some ice cream?"
Elyria blinked in surprise for a minute before smiling and nodding, "I love ice cream."
"Alright then," Max took her hand and helped her stand up, smirking, some of his black hair falling gracefully into this face.
"Thanks," Elyria said, brushing herself off and sticking the book back into her bag.
"No problem, after you," Max said.
"I've no idea where I'm going." Elyria replied with a small laugh.
"I believe I do," Max took her hand, "Come one." (Outside of HSG)
