Harry Potter And the Order of the Phoenix Contest

Deadline: 10 Entries

Deadline subject to change based on popularity. All participants will be notified if change occurs.

In celebration of the long awaited arrival of the 5th Harry Potter movie, Order of the Phoenix, I wanted to have a contest featuring some Harry Potter Art that delt withthe book. I believe it is important to still read the book even if there is a movie.

Prizes

There will be a special banner for first, second, and third place winners. All participants are welcome to have a participant banner.

Rules

1. Create a piece or artwork illustrating either your favorite part of Order of the Phoenix or a specific scene from the book that you think will be in the movie. If you haven't read the book yet, then borrow one from a friend and scim through for an idea.

2. Please submit your original artwork. Don't steal stuff from others.

3. Follow all Elftown Art Contest Rules.
    - Be a good sport
    - Follow the contest owner's rules
    - Only submit things that are your own
    - Create your art especially for the contest you're
     entering

4. You may submit up to 2 entries, but please put each under a new number.

5. If you want to claim a spot in the lineup, but don't have your artwork finished yet, put your name by a number.

6. Seeing as this is based on a children's book, nudity of any kind is prohibited.

7. Have fun and be creative!

2007-06-30 [Kahri]: I just have to look through the book again and pick a scene. I think this could turn out pretty good though! What you need to do is advertise this contest on the main street. Just go to the upper left corner of mainstreet and click on MC...then in the comments, ask them to advertise the contest!

2008-03-16 [Ninja Squirrel]: Hey all! Sorry for the long absence. School, work, ROTC...yea very busy. By the looks of things, this contest doesn't seem to be pcking up very much. The tentative plan is to let it go until the end of my school semester (end of April) then vote on what entries there are. So if you plan on submitting something but haven't yet, there is your new tentative deadline. Good luck and have fun!
