Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban review

I didn't remember how good it was. I tell you, the movie is no good compared to this book.
The third Harry Potter novel introduces two of my favourite characters: Professor Remus Lupin and Sirius Black, Harry's godfather.
As another year starts in Hogwarts things get more deep and dark forces begin to rise behind the bubbly world of magic.

Some other new characters are introduced for the future books (so for instance Cedric Diggory doesn't just show up in the next book, but he is mentioned and so set up for the future), and some gain more space in the book. Like if you compare it to the movie, Hermione's cat gets to be quite an important character.

This book is one of the best of the seven Potter novels, perhaps even the best. You get to know the past of certain characters, the reasons why Snape hates Harry, how Harry really wouldn't make it without his friends, and one of the coolest magical objects in the series: the Marauder's map and one of the most frightening figures: the dementors. (And NO. Dementor's DO NOT FLY.)

Read it. It's awesome.
