Applying Vitamin E in an oil-based form does wonders for your complexion, or it can be taken orally. Often found in moisturizer, etc this is a good thing to add to your skin-care routine.
If you need to wear a foundation, you should use a very light, sheer base, and definitely oil-free as oils can lead to the dreaded spots. You should certainly avoid alcohol in toners, facial washes, etc. as this can dry the skin out.
You really only need a very simple skin-care routine, the less complicated, the better for your skin. You need a gentle cleanser, toner and a decent moisturizer. And that's it!
No sunbeds, and a UVA protector sunscreen when out in the sun. And that's all you need to have beautiful, healthy skin, combined with a good diet and wash your skin, remove ALL make-up before bed. Simple tricks that work.
And remember to exfoliate!
Be Natural, don't cover yourself in makeup. To stop your skin getting flaky or dry, use Palmers CoCo Butter, it is an amazing cream that also works on scars. I use it on my stretch marks and they have began to fade (though I use the Palmers Coco butter for stretchmarks).
