Ohh! Watch out! The fierce and mighty Basil is coming to eat you up!
Actually, Basil is just a little spotted python; about 13" long. He does look a little scary in the picture, but he's really not; you'll never find a more congenial snake then Basil.

Basil loves his new stick! Santa gave it to him for Christmas.

2007-01-07 [Heathglen]: I don't have an exact age on him. The breeder I got him from described him as 'a well off baby'. I've own him for about 7 months now.

2007-01-07 [Heathglen]: The books say about 2 1/2 to 3 feet. I think he'll be on the smaller side of that. (He is actually a she. At least that's what the breeder told me. Damn if I can tell.)
