Jaxon walked into an abandoned CVS, a slightly crumpled cigarette nestled between his lips. He grabbed a basket and walked to the back, his eyes focused on only one thing. The pharmacy. As he jumped the counter, the blonde didn't even bother to look at the labels on the bottles. "Need this and this and this and all these..." He muttered, knocking them all into the basket.

Liz kept her cross bow at the ready, aiming around just in case. "Kells, we're here for food and feminine products."

"This is food." He looked down at the basket and picked up a bottle of estrogen supplements. "Oop. Don't need that." With a flick of his wrist, it was on the floor. He picked up two more bottle. "Valium? Definitely need those... Hey Liz? Do you see any wine over there?"

Liz sighed and grabbed another basket, tossing a few bags of chips and beef jerky into it. "A few bottles... I'll grab some, if you promise not to down them in one night. We can't risk carrying you again."

"Mhmm... Oo!! Vicodin! My favorite!"

Outside the CVS, very suddenly, a small aircraft came crashing down into the street, in what it's pilot would call a clean landing. A redheaded Irish woman climbed out once the engine died and climbed out with a backpack slung over shoulder. She had a bottle of whiskey clasped in her hand, the bottle almost completely empty. She took the goggles off her eyes and let them hang loosely around her neck. She knew better than to call out with all of the infected that could be around. She hopped from the plane and adjusted the machete on her belt, pulling up her jeans.

Marcus was on top of the CVS, his black wings tucked neatly under his warm leather jacket. It looked as though he could've passed as a normal, uninfected human. With the plane landing on what was once Main street, he shook his head. "Why is everyone gathering here of all places.." he mumbled, knowing no one could hear him with his power activated. With all the noise, he knew the infected would come running to protect their territory, and would try to rip anyone up to pieces. It was the nature of a human that had lost everything that made them human. All that was left was insanity.

Hiding off behind a few builds back a set of red head Asian twins stood and watched the commotion. "See Mizuki, there's more of them." the other hissed in their native language, just enough for his twin to hear.

The meek twin looked up and nodded. "What do you suppose we do Takumi?"

"We wait. We don't know if they're infected or not." Takumi watched and shook his head. Ever since the day he had to kill his parents he took care of his twin and trusted no one. Mizuki was weak, his father was almost positive that he had a son and a daughter with the way Mizuki acted. But either way his twin was all he had left in his life and he swore that he would protect him even if it meant his life.

In the other parking lot, Cain sat in an abandoned car plotting. How was he going to pull this off. He needed supplies for his "family". And these people were in his territory. "Easy for the pickings." He said to himself. "Now just have to wait for the right moment."

Lyra blinked tiredly from the abandoned employee-only area in the back of the CVS. Noticing the sounds of people talking on the other side of the door, Lyra decided it was not nearly interesting enough to warrant her full attention. Probably just another group of survivors scavanging for last-minute supplies... Lyra yawned before drifting back to sleep on her little makeshift bed of old blankets and jackets.

Emily walked closer to where the infected people where holding on to her notebook. I'll get some good proof of their humanity this time. She thought, her heart was beating faster, and faster the closer she got.

Rachel watched Emily apprehensively, 'What on earth is she thinking?!' She thought as Emily got closer to the infected people. She was at the ready in case she needed to save her.

Liz pointed the cross bow at the door. "Jaxon, we have to go."

"Hold on, I have to get lighters and more c-"

"NOW!" Liz snarled.

Jaxon grumbled and grabbed a few packs of cigarettes and a package of lighters. "Fuck... I was having a relaxing day and then people in planes have to ruin it."

Liz pushed him towards the door. "Stop complaining and keep moving." They got to the door and pointed her cross bow at Scarlette. "What do you want?" She noticed Marcus on the roof and pointed it at him as well.

"Now, now Liz, no need to get in a tizzy." Dr. Kells muttered. "Hello! We mean no harm, we're just grabbing supplies and are on our way. There's plenty in the store so stock up on what you need." He smiled a warm smile, then led Liz towards the woods. The doctor eyed Marcus and gritted his teeth. "Man... I could have gotten at least a little information from that one."

Scarlette looked over at Liz. "Oi! Pu tha thin away before ya hurt yerself, lass!" She called out, noticing the Morin's who decided to go towards the infected, and the idiot on the roof. "I mus be in tha U.S..." she said with a disapproving tone and a shake of her head. "Oi! Ya lasses over thar! Whatrya think ya doin?" She yelled out.

Marcus hopped down off the room and landed nimbly on the ground, adjusting his own backpack. He remained silent as he watched Liz with the crossbow. He seemed more nervous about the infected however. Deactivating his powers, he spoke. "We need to get everyone to the rooftops."

Taking note of the infected that had just been found Takumi took to the shadows and moved through waiting for his chance to strike. When the right moment came he took out his sword and aimed for the head of the first infected that he came in contact with.

Mizuki watched as and slowly followed his twin sticking to the same shadows. Not to get ready to attack but to hide from the things he knew could harm him. He was weak and both he and his twin knew that. He couldn't and that was his biggest down fall. "Aniki be careful!" He cried out in Japanese.

Rolling his eyes, Cain found the young Asian boy, picked him up, and brought him to the roof of the nearest building where he knew it would be safe. "Jesus boy, are trying to get yourself kill."

The boy just meeped and looked down at his brother watching him slash away at the infected that attempted to attack back.

Lyra tossed in her pile of cloth before deciding it was futile to try to sleep now. The world was just too noisy, right now. Might as well go for a walk or something. Lyra pulled on one of the less damaged jackets from the pile over her wings.

Emily stopped in her tracks. What if they act like all the others...No one would help them if I can't find humanity in them. Emily started looking for a good area to watch them from.

Rachel grabbed Emily's wrist, "Come here." She said leading her to a building across the street with a ladder against the side, "We can watch from the roof."

"Great." Jaxon grumbled, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Any uninfected, please make a single file line to the roo-mmph!" He grumbled when Liz covered his mouth.

"Are you TRYING to get us killed!?" She hissed as she dragged the doctor back over to the store. "Get on my shoulders and get yourself up, then help me."

"Yes mother." He rolled his eyes, lifting himself onto her shoulders, then onto the rooftop.

"Okay, now help me."

"You know, I do enjoy the view from up here-"

"Kells, help me!"

"It reminds me of my days in Sco-"

"KELLS!"

"Oh alright!" He sighed and reached down, grabbing a hold of her cross bow and pulling her up. "You're not as heavy as you look, you know."

"Shut. Up."

Seeing more infected coming their way, Scarlette let out a grumble of disapproval of the girls just sitting there and climbed up to the roof as well. "Oi! Wha town we'd be in ere?" She asked, one hand on her hip while the other carried a large bag, like a military backpack.

Marcus looked as infected started to come towards him. Luckily, he activated his silence ability in time. The infected stared and sniffed at him, but because he made absolutely no sound, their primitive minds couldn't tell if it was an illusion or not. Some clawed at the sides of the buildings, but couldn't figure out how to get to the trespassers. They did, however, noticed the plane and immediately started to attack it.

"Oooooiiiiii! Ya bastards ge away from tha!!" She yelled out, earning some hisses from the infected. "Those sunuv bitches..."

Seeing that he was out number Takumi headed for the building that he saw his brother get picked up too. He leaped and bound over every little thing that got in his way.

Mizuki on the other hand, once he had the chance to look around he had noticed the others on the roof and hid behind the nearest object. It wasn't long before made it to the roof and looking for the younger twin.

"Aniki." Mizuki cried as he came out of hiding and clung to his twin's side.

Takumi took a glance around and held out his sword in defends. "You! All you... Infected?" He asked in a heavily accented broken english.

Cain shook his head and face-palmed. Never in his life had he met someone this stupid. "No They seem to be fine Takumi... Well I think so anyway."

Lyra stepped through a side entrance of the CVS and began her trek, avoiding the voices that seemed to be just around the corner of the building and not really paying much attention to the infected around her.

Emily followed Rachel up the ladder (Not paying any attention to what's around her). Then started watching the infected.

Rachel let out a relieved sigh once they were on the roof, "What were you thinking approaching the infected like that?"

"There's no point in-" Jaxon stood straight and stared at Marcus. He pulled out a note book and a pen from his pocket, scribbling something down. "The infected don't attack this Andromidon... I'll have to study him further, but without the proper tools and chemicals, testing will have to wait.." He muttered, then put the book away.

Liz looked over at the twins and pointed her cross bow at them, glaring. "We are not infected. And none of you seem to be either."

Jaxon glanced over at the twins and rolled his eyes at Liz. He counted out the people on the roof. "Alrighty then! Once those two get up here, we can rationalize a plan." He looked at the twins and repeated what he said in Japanese. "I, for one, suggest a human sacrifice. I volunteer Liz."

Liz grabbed him by the tie and yanked him close, glaring angrily. "Listen you. You're at the edge of this building too, so if you're sending me, you're going down with the ship."

"And what a ship it is." Jaxon choked a little as she yanked his tie.

"Do I look infected ta ya?!" Scarlette growled at Takumi, obviously pissed off at the fact her plane was being ripped apart by the infected.

Marcus looked around slightly and noticed Lyra running away, too far away now to help. He shook his head and let his wings come out fully, flying up to the roof and landing nimbly.

Tamaki glared and held onto his brother and slowly put down his sword. He didn't trust them, any of them except Cain. Cain had been with them for a couple years since they had got there. "No but can't be sure, takes longer to flow through." He looked over his twin to make sure he wasn't bitten or scratched.

The younger twin looked at he brother and smile. "Arigato aniki." he said still clung to his twin and watched the others.

Cain took a hold of Mizuki gentle and pulled him away from his brother. When he noticed Mizuki starting to freak he brushed his hair and looked up at the others. "Look we don't want to any problems."

Lyra cast a curious glance to the rooftop and faltered in her steps when she saw just how many people were up there. The infected would be quite restless... A sudden groan from an infected behind her confirmed Lyra's thoughts. There seemed to be an entire horde of infected down this alley--far too many and far too loud for her to soothe all at once. Lyra quickly began to duck and dodge back the way she came, humming a little to slow down the ones closest to her.

Rachel sighed and looked at Emily, "You don't have to answer, I'm just glad you're safe Emily." She said hugging Emily before looking at everyone on the roof.

"We've got no problems here." Liz reassured and let go of her partner.

"Indeed. All we're doing is trying to survive." Jaxon sighed, lighting up another cigarette. He noticed an odd gathering of infected and moved over to the edge of the build. "Liz! We've got a straggler."

Liz hurried over and aimed her cross bow. "There's too many... She'll get over run."

Jaxon groaned and shoved the basket of food into her arms. "Hold please." He grumbled and jumped down, ignoring the protests of the archer. He landed on a large trash container, the loud noise startling the infected. Kells took that chance to grab Lyra and push her up. "Take her, Liz!"

The brunette with the cross bow did as she was told and grabbed the andromidon's arm, yanking her up. She then reached down and pulled up her doctor friend. "Are you crazy?!"

"A little. Why?" Jaxon took the basket and breathed in more of his cigarette. The doctor pulled out his little notebook and scribbled down something about Lyra calming the infected.

The twin looked at each other and then to Cain. Takumi whispered something in to Cain's ear and he shrugged. "Honestly I don't know." He turned to the other of the pack looking to see if there was a leader amongst them. " Hey look I don't really understand what's going on here but my comrades and I wonder if you are all together?" He questioned looking around at the infected that surrounded the building.

The eldest Twin sighed and stepped forward and sheathing his sword. "Looked for other, thought we were only ones left. Need group to help survive. You join?" Takumi spoke in broken English.

Lyra looked from Jaxon to Takumi. Then she turned to evaluate how many infected were surrounding the building. Way too many. It doesn't look like I have much of a choice... "Fine. At least until this" she gestured to the mob below "clears up a little."

"I wasn't think...It's been awhile since I've seen so many infected people."
Emily said hugging Rachel back then glanced at the people on the other roof.

"Yeah, I haven't seen so many infected for a while either." Rachel said looking at all the infected on the ground.

"Liz and I travel together, yes." Jaxon said.

"Kells, I don't think that joining them is the best idea... we don't know them.." Liz mumbled into his ear.

"If anything, they'll be distractions." Jaxon mumbled back. He glanced across to the next building and saw the other two girls. "Two more. Maybe we should all group together?" The doctor cupped his hands around his mouth. "Hey!!" He yelled. "We're all making a Fellowship of the Ring! Wanna join?"

Liz stared at him. "Jaxon, you are too young for that reference, let alone them."

Scarlette rolled her eyes at Jaxon's outburst. "Whateaver tha' means." she said with a shake of her head and looked around at the faces of the people on the rooftops. "Th' is nah leaders at th' moment." she said offically. "We 'ave all joost met ahfter all."

Marcus remained silent as everyone talked amongst themselves. He went into his backpack and pulled out a cigarette and a lighter, lighting it up.

Mizuki looked over the edge and looked down at the infected. He whispered something in Cain's ear and the other nodded.

"Look there is no way all us are going to survive this on our own." The black haired male of their small group informed. "I know we all just met but if we could all banned together maybe... Just maybe we can make it through this disaster."

Tamaki looked back at his twin and nodded. It had been the first time he had ever heard the younger come up with any form of idea. Mizuki was always one to stand back and hide behind him or Cain listening to the music on his mp3 play when ever they could find batteries.

"Agreed." Lyra nodded. "I'm not much for company, but I figure a group like this," she gestured to include everyone on the roof, "is preferable to them." She jabbed her thumb over her shoulder at the infected below.

Emily started taking notes after a bit she stopped."What do you think it means?" she asked with slight worry.

"I'm not sure." Rachel said as she looked over at the group on the other roof. "Did he just say fellowship of the ring?"

Liz looked at Scarlette and nodded. "Agreed, but I don't think we should decide on a leader now. First priority should be escaping."

Jaxon patted Lyra's back. "Not a problem. I'm not much for company either. Though we should figure out how to ge-" He paused and looked at Marcus. "Andromidon, would you be able to fly over and grab those girls?"

Marcus looked over at him, his handsome features turning into a scowl. "I have a name." he growled at him. It was typical to get a reaction like that.

Scarlette wanted to jump down into the crowd and to kick some infected ass. However, she just grabbed her bottle and took a chug.

Takumi looked to Cain who just smiled. "It would be better that why. Then we could all survive..." The Andromidon paused and pointed to down at the infestation. "This."

Lyra flinched when Jaxon's hand came a little too close to where her wings were hidden. Gray eyes scanned the nearby telephone poles and power lines for anything close enough to jump to and/or climb up.

"I want to join,I want to join!!! Don't you want to join too Rachel?!" Emily said happily jumping up and down, a sign that she's really happy, as she looked back at the people on the other roof.

Rachel giggled, "Yes, I want to join too." She said as she watch Emily jumping up and down.

"Yes I know." Dr. Kells said, putting his cigarette out of the roof top. "But given the situation, we can do introductions later. So can get get them or can't you?"

Liz noticed Lyra scanning the area and looked around. "There." She pointed to a long line of power lines. "Wait guys, I have a plan. The Andromidons might be able to lead the infected away long enough for us without wings to get to the power lines and get away from here. Then they can lose them in the forest and fly back."

Jaxon looked at her, a childish pout on his lips.. "... Hey that's not fair... I'm suppose to be the smart one."

If glares could kill, Jaxon would've been a dead man. Marcus flew over to the other building with ease and landed next to Rachel and Emily. "..."

Cain watched as the other andromidon made it's way over. "Need help or can you handle two on your own." He called out to the other.

Lyra turned to Liz. "I could help keep the infected disoriented. But...the flying isn't really an option for me..." Her wings twitched beneath her jacket at the thought of it.

"Huh? May I ask who you are?" Emily asked with a smile, looking over the man as she stepped in front of Rachel.

Rachel blinked and raised a curious brow at Marcus as she looked him over, "Yeah, who are you?"

Dr. Kells smirked to himself at the glare he received. "What a moody lady." He mumbled, amusing no one but himself. He looked over at Lyra. "Wings broken or something?"

"Kells!" Liz glared at him.

"What?" He shrugged and looked to the twins and Scarlette. "Alright, two know how to fight, right?" He motioned to Takumi and the Irish woman. "I won't bother asking if you can fight, you're more like a Jade egg the ninja have to protect or something."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Liz stared blankly at the doctor.

"It's an old Chinese story I read that-... Oh nevermind."

Marcus looked at the two girls and cleared his throat. He knew he shouldn't have gone over there to help like that geeky looking freak asked him. He shuffled slightly. "My name is Marcus... I was asked to come over here and fly you over." he mumbled softly.

Scarlette looked at Jazon and smirked. "Aye, Ah can fight pretteh well." she said and looked down at the infected again. "Looks like it could beh a fun time."

Mizuki looked between his twin and Cain and just hide behind the two of them. Takumi on the other hand stood Proud and tall, that stance of a warrior. "I fight good, Mizuki..." He looked at his brother and bad to the group. "Not so good. He is very weak. Cain and I protect him from those."

His companion English may have been broken but at least Cain understood him.

"...Not quite." Lyra responded to Jaxon, shifting the back of her jacket down to show the tiny, shivering wings. "They've never been able to fly to begin with."

"Okay!...Oh wait." Emily turned to Rachel and whispered."You told me I shouldn't trust people so easily...but I think we can trust him."

"Yeah, he seems to be alright." Rachel whispered back with a nod as she looked at Marcus.

"Good. Not just yet though, Knight. We need to develop a plan before they figure out how to climb up here." Jaxon nodded and looked around. "If the Andr-" He paused, noticing Lyra's wing and quickly pulling out his booklette, scribbling something down and mumbling to himself, then putting it away. "Remind me to study you later."

"You can come with us then." Liz said. "If you can't fly, then we'll have to get everyone safe to somewhere." She looked to Jaxon.

Jaxon nodded to Takumi and looked to Cain, then Mizuki. "You'll be one of the ones we have to protect then. You, uh.." He motioned to Cain. "I'ma call you Bishop." He shook his head a bit and sighed. "You and the other Andromidons could possibly lure them away. That one," he pointed to Takumi. "Liz, and the others will head towards..." He looked around, adjusting his glasses and pointed out. "There. That's a mountain range. We'll go towards there and you guys can come after us once they are far enough out." He looked over at Marcus and the other two. "We need a sort of bait though..."

Liz looked at him and sighed. "I volunteer, Kells. I'm a fast runner. If anything they can pick me up and drop me off to lure the infected further.."

Jaxon looked over, a hint of actual worry in his eyes. It was just for a moment, but it was there. "You only have those arrows."

"Don't need arrows, Kells."

Marcus looked between Rachel and Emily, having no idea how he was going to get them over to the other building. Yeah, he could carry them, that was easy enough. But they were both girls.. he didn't just want to carry them like sacks of potatoes or anything. "Soooo... how do you want to go about this?"

"Oi, can we just get this goin or wha?" Scarlette said, getting impatient. She wanted to get to killing some infected by now, not be standing on a rooftop that they may or may not be able to get to.

Mizuki watched from behind his brother and their friend. He looked over the edge and back to his twin and whispered to him.

Takumi nodded. "We need plan." He said looking at Cain. "We go in no plan we get dead. "

"That's killed...." Cain said rolling his eyes. "If we go in with no planed we're likely to be killed."

Lyra nodded in agreement to Liz's plan. "I could make sure that any infected that get close to us are unable to attack. Or at least unable to do so at full strength..." She covered her wings back up at Jaxon's comment. "Maybe when we're all safe."

"Well, let get over there then!" Emily said smilling letting her wings come out.

Rachel nodded and smiled at Emily as she let her wings come out as well.

Jaxon looked over and tried not to snicker when he saw the wings on the two girls. "I kinda feel like an asshole."

"You are an asshole, Jax." Liz rolled her eyes. She turned back to Lyra. "That's good for any stragglers. I think the guy with the black wings can make anything around him silent or something. That's what Jaxon wrote down anyways. I wana know if the other two have any powers." She looked at Scarlette. "You look like you're good with blades." She grabbed Jaxon's spear from his back and tossed it to her. "If you can't use it, learn quickly.

Jaxon looked over at Liz and pouted. "That's mine you whore."

"Deal with it." Liz rolled her eyes.

Jaxon looked back over to Marcus. "The three of you!" He yelled, hands cupped around his mouth again. "We need you to get over here now! I have a plan and we need to discuss it quickly before, you know, we get dead." He grinned over at Takumi.

Marcus looked at the two girls with the wings and instantly looked very annoyed. "Thanks for making me come all the way over here when you could just fly over yourselves." he said sarcastically and flew back over the the building with the others. He landed a ways away from the others and had his arms crossed over his broad chest, obviously now in a very bad mood.

Scarlette caught the spear and studied it a bit, before leaning over the edge of the building and stabbed an infected in the face, since it was starting to figure out how to climb. "Yhap, this will work great!" she called out to them.

Takumi glare at the doctor and got his sword ready. Cain held the boy back and nudged toward Mizuki. "Don't do anything rash." Cain whispered.

The stronger twin pointed his sword down and waited.

Lyra gazed over at Emily and Rachel with a deadpan expression as Marcus flew back. "...Well that was pointless."

"Ooops I didn't mean to make him angry." Emily said as she flew over to the roof top.

"Well we didn't know they'd make him fly over to get us." Rachel said as she flew over to the other roof with Emily.

Gwendolyn heard their conversation from where she was kneeling, she started to hum an old lullaby her (now infected) mother used to rock her to sleep with as a young child. Gwen was able to escape from the large group of them thanks to her father. He went missing after that night. *Seven years have passed and no clue as to where he might be. Maybe these people could help me or her them. She thought.* Stood up, brushed the dust off her knee. Put her bow on one shoulder as well with the unique arrows she had forged with the knowledge gained from each encounter with the infected humans. Checked to make sure everything was secure and slowly walked out from the alley she hid in.

"Heard your having trouble finding a couple Amdromidons or Infected humans. She started off, Human (pointed at herself), I can hear any noise for miles, experience in battle especially in sniping, and also have a settle to score by researching a cure to bring back someone dear to my heart and possibly more. Interested?"

Jaxon grinned at Marcus. "Sorry man. I didn't see their wings." He shrugged his shoulders innocently, then looked over, hearing the voice. He walked to the edge, grabbing Gwendolyn's wrist and yanking her up onto the roof. "As long as you won't die easy, you can join our little fellowship." He looked at the Andromidons. "Alright, now I need all of you to distract them. Take a dive bomb into them, then fly off that way. Call attention, do anything. You all seem like you can fly pretty well so just keep above them. When Liz and I passed that area, there's a river. It's populated by a shit ton of deer that should distract them long enough for you to make your way towards the mountain area. We'll meet you there." He told them all. "Anyone who can't fight should stay towards the middle."

Liz nodded and looked at Scarlette and Gwendolyn. "You both have close combat experience, so you'll be around the front and back." She jumped when Jaxon knelt down and shoved his hand up her pant leg, yanking out a hunter knife. "HEY!"

"You gave away my spear, your knife is mine now." He stuck out his tongue.

Marcus listened to Jaxon's plan and nodded slightly, though he didn't feel like talking to any of them at the moment. He stretched his wings out, and it did show how quite large they were, even for an Amdromidon.

Scarlette nodded and grinned. "Aye, the front'll ge' more action tha' the back." she said, "Tha's where I'll be. Th' front."

"Right I'll go distract them." Cain said flying off the roof toward the crowd of infected. "Come on you fuckers." He taunted. "Come and get me." He said trying to get their attention. He waited until he had a good amount of them focused on him before he flew off just barely out of their reach.

Mizuki whimpered the moment Cain had left his side and he clung to Takumi. "Daijobu desu ka?Are you okay?" The masculine twin asked as the slightly smaller twin nodded.

"Should I stay in the middle or on the perimeter?" Lyra asked.

"Show time." Emily sang before jumping off the roof and beginning flight. "Hey Want to play!! I'm right here!!"

"Emily! Be careful!" Rachel said as she followed Emily.

Gwendolyn jumped to a couple buildings farther away. Knelt down and started equipping her bow. "Taking the back!" Took her aim waiting for a good shot. As she was ready to release she heard something from behind her. As she turned to shoot, she was face to face with her long lost father. "Dad?" She whispered. To her realization, he to had become infected by those long ago. A tear stroked her cheek falling to her bow in then which she shot him in the thigh. "Sorry, father. The pain ends now. Goodbye." As she went to shoot him in the heart, she heard more coming from the left side of the building she took as post dumbfounded that she was in a trap. "Need help here! Ambush!" She screamed as loud as she could for anyone to hear. Shooting as many as she could to survive.

"Stay closer to the middle if you can help it." Liz said gently to Lyra and pulled out a small knife, handing it to her. "Just in case-" She heard Gwendolyn yelling and looked over. "Damnit!" She took a skilled aim and shot down the three that were nearest. "GET DOWN!" She yelled, shooting another in the head. She hurried off the building and ran over, taking her arm and trying to drag her towards the others. "Don't run off like that! Are you lookin' for death?"

Jaxon hurried everyone off the building, stopping to help Mizuki and Lyra if they needed it. "Alright, Queen." he looked at Scarlette. "You're taking the front, Liz has got the back, I've got the left flank." he looked at Takumi. "Queen's Bishop, you get the right flank." He looked back at Gwen. "King's Bishop, you cover the back with Liz or the front with The Queen." he pointed to Scarlette. The doctor pulled Mizuki and Lyra. "Both of you stay with in our perimeters, alright? I don't want to have to yell at you." He looked up at Liz, who was watching him. "What is it now?"

"Oh nothing. You just reminded me of a stern daddy just then." She smirked.

"Does that make you the mommy or the creepy uncle?" Jax raised a brow, growling when she hit his arm. "Alright alright! Come on, move out!" He said as he hurried down the empty road with them.

Marcus looked over where Gwendolyn was and almost flew over to help but Liz took care of it. Instead, he swooped down and instead of flying, he knew they would chase him better if he was running. He landed nimbly and tucked his wings close to his body, and with his backpack in one hand, hit one in the face and took off running quite quickly, surprisingly quick for even a regular person.

Scarlette didn't question as why Jax was calling her "Queen." Such things she didn't care for all that much. She hopped down in the front of the group, taking out about four of the infected and cleared the path of the ones that didn't follow the Amdromidons.

By now Cain was ripping off the head of a few infected just not caring. As long as the two he had come to consider family were okay.

Mizuki was terrified and trembling something fierce. It wasn't until Takumi place the younger twin's head phone of the frightened boy's ear and told to just follow the instruction. "It will be over with sooner then you think." He said in his native tongue.

Mizuki nodded and watched as his twin got in formation.

Lyra thanked Liz as she put the knife in her jacket pocket and stood next to Mizuki. As they began travelling Lyra maintained a soothing tune to slow down the nearby infected.

Emily bounced off a few infected's heads. "Sorry!" She called back to them as she lowered her speed so they could follow better.

Rachel sighed as she followed Emily, suddenly one of the infected grabbed her leg. "GET OFF!" She yelled kicking the infected in the face trying to get it to let go, but it wouldn't.

As Gwendolyn gained composure, she heard the "GET OFF!" echo. She turned around and shot the infected holding Rachel's ankle in the throat killing it instantly. "Guys, sorry about earlier. My mind drifted and that wont happen again." Turned back around and started shooting the infected down left and right, hitting them through their temples. Her anger was what she would have to depend on if she were to survive with this group. No more attachments until a cure could be found. For not one, but both of her parents.

Liz hurried everyone along, thankful for Scarlette's battle knowledge and Lyra being able to calm the infected. She had her share of stabbing infected in the head, not wanting to waste her arrows.

Jaxon kept his knife close as they ran. "If we find a place to hunker down, try to see if you can find any dead infected. I want samples." he told the group.

"No that's not gross or anything." Cain said as he flew over Jaxon's head. The infected had stopped following and he figured he would help the group.

Takumi shook his head and still kept and eye out on his brother.

Mizuki, even though he kept up was still scared out of his wits. He had never seen so many of them before, but then again Cain and his brother had always kept him sheltered. Even after he watched Takumi killed their parents.

Lyra gave Jaxon an "are you serious?" look, but did not stop singing or walking.

Emily turned around just in time to see the infected that was holding Rachel's ankle get shot. "Are you okay!"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Rachel replied as she kicked the infected off of her ankle and watched it fall to the ground.

"Never said it was pretty." Jaxon rolled his eyes. "And I'm completely serious. Why would I be joking about that?"

"Jaxon is a scientist." Liz clarified whilst impaling yet another in the eye. "He's always doing stuff like that for no good reason. He already wrote shit about you guys in his handy dandy note book."

"I don't think Blues Clues references are appropriate for our situation, Liz." The doctor rolled his eyes. He gave a high pitched startled yelp as he tripped over something.

"Kells!" Liz hurried over and helped him to his feet.

"Ow... Who the hell put a-" He paused. In front of him lay an uprooted pipe line. "... Guys! Guys, this way! There's some sort of town or something!" Kells took Liz's hand as he got up and pulled her through. "Follow me!" As they ran, Liz looked back at noticed that Scarlette had stopped. "What's wrong?" She asked. "We have to get going!"

Scarlette gave a wicked grin and tossed her back the spear. "Hand meh one of yer knives." As Liz did so, Scarlette gave her a lazy salute. "I'ma go help the unlucky bastards. Catcha ya on the flip side." And with that, she ran in the direction the Andromidons flew.

Takumi sliced off the head of a few more infected and looked back to see Scarlette run off. "Where hell is girl going?"

Cain laughed as he ripped the head off one of the other infected. "It's 'where the hell is she going?' Takumi..."

The other just rolled his eyes and cut open another splashing blood at his friend.

Lyra followed Jaxon and maintained her tune.

"Wow! that girl's really good at singing.... Hmm should that lady be leaving the rest of the group?" Emily wandered as she flew.

Rachel watched the woman leave the rest of the group as she flew, 'What is she doing?'

Liz led the others to the entrance of what looked like an abandoned town. Glancing around quickly, she walked the group up to an apartment complex and tried forcing open the door. "Damnit! It won't budge..." The brunette jumped as Jax kicked the door hard enough to splinter it open.

"Ladies first." He said, holding it open with a crooked smirk.

Liz glared and stepped in. She kept her cross bow up, checking the first floor thoroughly. "It seems to be clear... And There are a few generators. That means-"

"Hot water, ooo damn." Jaxon smirked, leading the rest inside. "That means a nice relaxing bath and a date with Marlboro Reds and Vicodin!"

"I hope you drown." Liz grumbled at his enthusiasm.

"Now now play nice children." Cain laughed still keeping his guard up.

Mizuki clung to Cain's side like glue once they stopped and Takumi just looked around. "Are we sure it safe?"

Lyra abruptly stopped singing and whipped her head from side to side. "...Seems all clear."

"I'd don't see them any more... Think there safe?" Emily asked noticing the low amount of infected still fallowing.

"I don't know, but I hope so." Rachel said looking a bit worried.

Gwendolyn's hand hovered over her pistol. "I'll keep watch. No need to fret." She said reassuringly.

"Jax, help them get set up in some rooms, alright? I'm going to to check around and make sure the area is safe." Liz said stepping out of the building.

Jaxon rolled his eyes, motioning them in. "Come on kiddies. Daddy has to go protect all of us."

"Does that make you mommy?" Liz smirked before walking off into the abandoned town.

Jaxon glared back at her. "Yeah well-.... You're stupid!! Come on everyone. Let's set up." He muttered, leading them up the stairs.

Liz wandered the town for a bit, checking buildings for infected. It seemed to be completely abandoned. As if the infected themselves were afraid to enter. She was giong to turn back, when a sign caught her eye. "Gearson Auto Shop" it read. Maybe it was the memory of her old job that caused it, but she stepped inside and to look around.

Cain looked at the others before they took off and looked to Jaxon. "Look, I'm going to head to the highest point that I can and see if there is anything I can do or keep watch for there. That way the other may have a heads up before they come." He wanted to keep the members of the small group he came with safe. Especially Mizuki, the boy was weak and although he had his twin there by his side, Cain still felt the need to protect him.

Mizuki was about whimpered, not wanting his friend to leave but in these times he knew that if someone didn't watch over them, they were going to survive. He followed his twin and Jaxon without a second thought as he continued to listen to his music.

Lyra followed Jaxon, still glancing around to make sure new infected do not surprise them.

"We can probably lose this infected in the woods." Emily thought aloud as she flew into the woods. 'I hope that scary looking doctor will look over my findings.... Then he'll have to help me find a cure!'

Rachel nodded as she followed Emily into the woods, she watched as the infected tried to follow her and Emily.

Gwendolyn guarded the main entrance as if her life depended on it. Come to find as soon as she met this group, their lives were just as precious. Their chance at survival wavered day by day. She looked at the others inside and smiled. These were her friends now and from this point on she wouldn't stumble or make another mistake ever again. Ever. She checked her ammo belt to make sure if any infected came that she would be prepared for anything. She murmured to herself, " I hope there's someway we don't have to continuously keep killing them. If we had a cure this war on life and death would be gone in an instant!" As she kicked a pebble from under her foot. "If only..."

IHA001's (001 for short) sensors detected multiple life forms in the vicinity of his location. A familiar voice had awoken him from his slumber and ran a system scan to make sure he was fully functioning. He already knew what his mission was and he couldn't wait to kill again. His sensors had detected humans, infected, and Andromidons that required extermination by any means necessary. 001 stood up and studied the map that was now projecting itself in front of his eyes as if he was looking at a computer screen. He pinpointed his location and found the closest life form to be about two blocks down at what appeared to be shop of some sorts. "Target Acquired," he said to himself as the map projection left his vision and he left the building he was in.
