Race/Home world: Unas/Su’nue

Occupation: Ka Oka’ra, "Ka" meaning "Female" and Oka'ra meaning “first officer” to Suk’Ur Utaru. Utaru means Chieftain.

Build:The Unas of the Gemini galaxy are slightly more evolved in comparison to their unique brethren of P3X-888. She stands 5'2”, the average height for a female. She is lean and muscular but built also for agility. Her reptilian scale ridges and markings are typically Unas while also seeming slightly understated. Not as sharp and definably, more feminine.

Specialization: Being her tribe’s Oka’ra she is highly skilled in gorilla warfare and hand to hand combat. She has minimum knowledge of gate travel but is well-versed in intertribal communications. Meaning she understands diplomatic affairs and their impact on the various races she has come in contact with.

Background:The Unas of the Gemini Galaxy where placed on Su’nue by the Asgard, Odin, the god of War. Su’nue’s eco system coupled with what little knowledge they where able to unlock from the Hugin space probe; birthed a species much more advanced than the Unas of P3X-888.

Their cultural system is similar to most aboriginal civilizations. While being several hundred years more advanced. Their solitary nature and limited technology has kept them under the radar of civilizations that could pose a threat. Unlike the Unas of P3X-888 they have not been subjugated to slavery.

The populace is moderate but the clan system is feudal. Meaning that battle is a common place. Male and Female Unas are raised as warriors which could relate to the slow advancement of what Asgard technology they do possess.

On a single occasion their planet was visited by Goa’uld. During the encounter several Unas of the Chi’kara clan where taken captive. Without an understanding of Gate travel they buried their gate to prevent anything from coming threw again.

Ka’Tra Ka Oka’ra has been unable to return to her home for ten years, but did not remain a Goa’uld captive for long. The circumstances around the escape are a mystery but she alone was successful.

For the last decade she has been “Gate jumping” when possible in search for her home, unaware that the Gate has been buried and she can no longer return. In doing so she has experienced many different worlds and has a basic understanding of their cultures and technology.

Weaponry/applicable belongings:
A Zatn'kitel, stolen from her former Goa’uld captors.
A Grisgris dagger, made from Naqahdah.
A Ku’uld charm made from the bones of Goa’uld larva. It protects the wearer from being infested by a Goa’uld.

During her escape she was able to liberate her armor which is fashioned of carbon naqahdah. The carbon displaces naqahdah’s conductive abilities making it able to absorb the blast of many different kinds of energy weapons. Which can reinforce the armor depending on the power of the weapon. The longer the fight the stronger the armor.

Staff weapons and weapons of similar destructive capabilities pose more threat but the armor is able to absorb and deflect the energy into a concentrated blast from a central crystal in the chest piece. Similar to the crystals found in Thor’s Hammers on Chimmera. As long as the energy is absorbed threw the chest plate or back plate. The blast that is achieved teleports the offending enemy to an unknown location.

The Unas achieved this level of technology while studying the Hugin probe, sent into space by Odin. Legend states that a second probe, Munin; was also released by Odin. The Unas of Su’nue await the arrival of this second probe and the remainder of Odin’s gifts.

It is said that Odin bestowed these gifts to the Unas in the hope that they would evolve into a species that did not require his assistance. His role, like many of the Norse gods, is complex. He is associated with wisdom, war, battle, and death, and also magic, poetry, prophecy, victory, and the hunt. These technological advances that he bestowed upon the Unas have fruited a civilization with the ability to defend their home from outsiders.

Some believe that the second probe could unlock the secrets of Gate travel.
