NAME: Kain Bethell

ALIAS: Wrath

MUTATION (POWERS): Kain can break down elements and matter and reform it to what is needed. However, rebuilding it takes time(always dependent on the size of the object, and living matter such as hearts and lungs are cannot be rebuilt fast enough to save lives). To do this, Kain generally stays out of fighting and does his best to create elements and medicines that will make better armor and help the wounded heal up. If pushed to fight, he can break something down and leave it broken with little effort. This would include living matter. However the trick is that he must be touching the target.

example: Ares is forced into a fight where an angry and drunk customer pulls a gun on him while moonlighting as bouncer. Seeing no other way out of it, Ares grabs the gun and in the blink of an eye, the gun shatters into a mass of broken mettle.

Ares is in a lab working on a formula to increase cell reproduction, and takes two Chronicles merging them together. The result is nearly an hour of intricate work concentrating on cellular structure and constant braking down of matter and building up.  

AGE: 17

DESCRIPTION OF BODY (BUILD, HEIGHT, UNIQUE FEATURES, ETC.): Nearly six and a half feet tall, Kain is muscular and fit. His body has scars from growing up on the Gaza strip and trying to help his people however he could. 

HAIR COLOR AND STYLE: Kain has dark hair that is kept cut just above the shoulder.

EYE COLOR: Red

RELATIVES: Two brothers.(one KIA, one still enlisted in the IDF)

ETHNICITY: Israeli

HISTORY: Kain grew up in Israel, he began to show evidence of his mutation at the age of 13. He'd always had an interest in medicine and the elements. It took two years of training to be able to reform material and understand the balance needed for it to work. He also discovered the need to touch whatever he was breaking down or building up, and that he could not make more than there was to work with.

It was a hard life, and he spent time with his brothers when he saw them coming and going on patrols. His brothers never had a problem with him following along and talking at first, but one day the squad took fire. Kain watched as the men were pinned down, and could not hold back... He went around the back of the building the men firing at his brothers and friends were in. He casually walked up the stairs and found the three men. An with rage in his heart he broke them down... He was afraid of what he had done, and ran. His eldest brother Baruch found him still bloody in the ally next to the building, and took his brother promising to help him control this massive power.

Kain spent more time with his brothers in the months to come. He loved them all, and was beginning to understand his powers. It was not to long after that when he found out that war was no game... His brother Able had been shot through the chest the plat broke, and he was bleeding out from his pierced hart. Kain would not let his brother die, but when he realized by breaking down his left lung to rebuild his heart he put his brother in such pain his body went into shock, and he died. It was the moment Kain realized he was no god among men after feeling like one for so long. He was a destroyer, and it scared him. So he played into that role... thought the fighting was rare at first to him he quickly adapted to using his powers in a bad way. To just break and destroy... Harm men. His brother Baruch saw his path and reminded him of his faith, and in the shock of his brothers words Kain ran. He was ashamed. He used a few stolen enemy assault rifles and explosives as currency, and one nasty reputation to get out of the country and ran to America to get away from the war torn nation.

After arriving in America at the age of sixteen, he met Louise Kirkpatrick. Kain spent all the free time he could around her and after a while what was at first a friendship grew into more. When he finally gained the courage to let her know that he had feelings for her, he kissed her, and her skin began to glow. She immediately left, looking horrified. When he went to her parents' home they told him that she had left. "Gone to a special school for the truly 'gifted." Kain picked up on this and sought to find this school for the "Gifted."

ANY SERIOUS PHYSICAL OR MENTAL CONDITIONS: Night terrors. The sight of blood sometimes makes Kain return to the day he tried to save his brother, and he shouts down... Or he louses all self control and enters almost a blood raged state where he embraces his dark love of tactically killing. He secretly wants to go back to Israel, and return to the fight, but he fears another loss of control.

HOBBIES: Kain loves studying the old religions and theologies of the world and has a liking for Norse culture, He also enjoys reading medical and scientific writings to better understand what he can do with his powers. An if you cant find him in a book he is working out or running.

PERSONALITY: Kain Has opened up a lot in the years following his run away from home. He is remorseful for the destruction caused by his former ignorance which has lead to a self-loathing. Some time suicidal out look on life hidden well in his cheerful attitude. No one would suspect his true nature to be so dark at heart.

ANY PETS: None.

OTHER: Kain is a marshal artist. He spends lots of time working on his body to stay in top physical shape, and likes to free run when given the opportunity. Kain also carries pieces of metal in his coat pockets.

WEAKNESSES: Kain is human in all respects, but when building and forming matter it can be costly. It taxes his body and pushes him to the breaking point. The size of the object, the speed he breaks down and builds up the matter, and detail he puts in to trying to do so determines how likely he is to hurt himself in the process.

EX- breaking down a small object like a hand gun or assault rifle in a combat situation (fast as possible) and then rebuilding it into hand cuffs on the user would result in immense pain and exhaustion. The rest can be judged off of this scale. This dose not apply to just breaking down matter as it takes less energy and time to destroy something.
