Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream review

After having found myself to be thoroughly satisfied with the Burt’s Bees product line, I figured that I would try out another natural line of health and beauty products. Kiss My Face came highly recommended to me by a friend of mine out in California and so I figured that if she was raving about it (she does have rather good taste, after all) that I wouldn’t hate it too much. And so I purchased quite a few Kiss My Face products to try out for the first time.

One of the first Kiss My Face products that I decided to try was the Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream. My husband and I love all things Peppermint, so we figured that a nice, soothing foot cream with a minty smell would be just the thing for us during our evenings after work spent relaxing. He knows about my obsession with Burt’s Bees, so he knew not to fight me when I started coating his feet with the Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream, and then used it on myself. 

My hubby recently started working thirteen hour-long days, most of which he spends on his feet, so I figured that Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream might just be the thing he needed after a long work day. Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream is intended to be used to soothe and condition sore, dry feet using its organic ingredients and cocoa butter. Well, my hubby’s feet definitely are dry, and I know that they could use a good soothing, so I hoped that Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream would do exactly as it advertised itself as doing. 

The Foot Cream itself is very thick, much thicker than any lotion, especially as lotions tend to be quite watery in consistency. The Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream is white, as many Cream skin care products are, and it doesn’t absorb quickly into one’s skin as lotions do. Instead, Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream takes a good long while of rubbing and massaging the product into one’s skin in order for it to be completely absorbed. My husband definitely didn’t mind that part! The smell is really incredible and cannot be mistaken for anything other than peppermint, which we both found to be very relaxing.

After Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream had been completely rubbed into my hubby’s feet, his feet felt much smoother than they ever did before, and they looked better too! They did look slightly shiny or greasy, but they felt soft and supple, not dry or cracked! Of course, once he first washed his feet again after using Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream for the first time, his feet didn’t look quite as good as they did right after applying the product, but they still looked better than they ever did before!

I had the same results for myself when I used the product. In fact, I actually noticed something that my hubby did not; a tingling, cooling sensation wherever the Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream had been applied on my skin. At first it bothered me, it felt sort of like my feet had fallen asleep, but after I got used to it, it was really very pleasant. 

Ingredients for Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream include Water, Organic Peppermint Leaf Extract, Organic Papaya Leaf Extract, Organic Cranberry Fruit Extract, Organic Ginger Root Extract, Organic Sunflower Seed Oil, Glycerin, Grape Seed Oil, Peppermint Oil, Shea Butter, and Shea Butter Oil.

Despite how much Kiss My Face Peppermint Foot Cream costs ($9.99 plus tax), I think that it is worth it. My husband and I have both tried many different types of lotions and creams, and this one is definitely one of our favorites now! Our feet were much softer after we used this product, and they smelled great too! The minty smell that comes with using the Foot Cream is also a gender-neutral one too, so men needn’t fear emasculation for having used the product on their aching dogs!
