Fang Tree
Info - Fang Trees are trees that have been corrupted beyond recognition, they become twisted and grow a thick white bark as strong as steel, which is greatly priced to make powerful armor (albeit its noxious effects on the wearer). They appear to grow along in large, treeless circular areas in the midst of thick forests, but the truth is they use their powerful roots to kill all trees around them. They create artificial clearings and lure prey to them, as soon as one steps into the trees "Kill zone" powerful roots, sharpened at the end like blades, will emerge from the ground and skewer the victim, immediately retreating underground again. Then the dead prey is slowly dragged under the tree and consumed to the bone over several days. At night, it is rumored they glow with an eerie white light, attracting travelers lost in the woods to them with an almost hypnotic power.
Areas - Fang trees exist in eastern Sai'thareze, northenrmost Rysallis and The Fell Woods.
